Abstract

Indonesia as an archipelagic country store who so abundant in culture.This wealth can be seen from the kebudaya of literary work, building, objects history, works of art and others.The results of culture, Songket is one of culture. Songket is the result culture the community malay especially the people of south Sumatra who still stay there until now. On each motive, having symbols containing values local knowledge especially in form of social solidarity in society south Sumatra. Values local knowledge this needs implementation in students in learning especially on the subjects of social science class in Junior High School.Thus developed a learning model social class based value Songket symbolism to increse of social solidarity students in Junior High School  6 Kayuagung. Research and development is organized based on the concept of that has been created by borg and gall. Implementation phase in this research include study introduction, the development of learning model, and the effectiveness model. Data analysis use scale lingkert by the span of 5 while test the effectiveness of model use T test.In T test obtained value 3,789 with significance 0,000 & lt; 0,025, it means is the a significant impact on the model developed.While test t for the judgment of attitude of social solidarity with the economic situation of 2,360 significance much as 0.021 & lt; 0,025, so that rerata before and sesusah treatment class experiment not at.Thus learning model social class developed effective to improve their performance and attitude of social solidarity of student.

Abstract

Learning media have an important functions in learning process, especially on historical subject.  As a given of instructional media information could be help teachers overcome the problem of material that was difficult to explain verbally. Therefore, in this study of developed historical of instructional media that could be to increase a variety of media as well as supported the activities of historical teachers in the classroom. These products of this development are graphic media like a comic book. The historical of the comic media based on Raden Intan I struggle to increase the values of nationalism students’. This research aimed to find out: (1) to know using media on historical subject at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya; (2) to know process of development comic instructional media based  Raden Intan I struggle at SMA N 1 Tanjung Raya; (3) to determine the effectiveness of using comic media historical based on Raden Intan I struggle to increase students’ nationalism. Methods: this study was a research and development one referring to Research and Development  method (R&D) by using Borg and Gorl, and Sugiyono.  This hypothetical model adopted Molenda’s ADDIE model, the procedure of this research are, preliminary studies, the development of instructional media, and test the effectiveness of instructional media. Analysis of feasibility test using Likert scale with 5 ranges and effectiveness test of instructional media using t-test.Conclusion: based on the result of pretest and posttest experimental class, it could be found that 8.569 at significance level of 0.000>0.05, therefore could be said that any influence toward of using media. Effectiveness of nationalism the results using t test, which means that the value of 4.257 at significance of 0.000>0.05. It meant that the result of experiment class before and after treatment had unequal. Such the historical of comic based on struggle Raden Intan I on instructional media have more effective for improving students’ achievement and nationalism. Based on the results that show the experimental class have better than control class.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1). To find out the planning of learning history by integrating values in aerospace grade XII Social Science 1 Senior High School 1 Maospati, (2). To know the implementation of the learning history by integrating values in aerospace grade XII Social Science 1 Senior High School 1 Maospati, (3). To know sejauhmana the integration of values values aerospace aerospace with learning history can increase the nation identity and learning achievements of students in class XII Social Science 1 Senior High School 1 Maospati. This type of research is Research Action class, by using the method of learning the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning). The source population is students of class XII Social Science 1 Senior High School 1 Maospati. The technique of data collection by using the test, the interview, the now scale attitude, and a note field. The data analysis techniques using data reduction, the presentation of data, and the withdrawal of the conclusion. This research proves that the use of learning methods CTL against learners can enhance Identity Nations amounted to 91% and 90% of learning achievements. Implementation of a learning history by integrating aerospace values can increase the nation identity and learning achievements of students of class XII Social Science 1 Senior High School 1 Maospati.

Abstract

      This study aims to (1) describe the planning; (2) describes the learning process; (3) identify the obstacles encountered by teachers in teaching history; (4) analyzing the efforts made by teachers of history to overcome obstacles in learning, and (5) determine the appreciation of learners in learning the history of a controversial issue. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Banyumas, using the form of qualitative descriptive study with a single case study research strategy spikes. The data source consists of speakers, events / activities, documents and archives. Data collection techniques using in-depth interview techniques, direct observation, and content analysis. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and time sampling. The validity of the data use triangulation of data, methods, and theory. Analysis of data using interactive analysis with three stages that occur bergayutan, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions / verification. The results showed that (1) in planning lessons, teachers make learning devices independently, but can not be separated from the sample that has been made in a top-down from the government; (2) execution history teaching of controversial issues still running half-hearted because of the mindset held by teachers is still in the stage of action and weak in re-actualization stage, so that learning becomes out of context; (3) obstacles in learning the history of a controversial issue consists of all aspects of planning, implementation, and other supporting factors in the learning process; (4) efforts to overcome the obstacles still limited in technical level, teachers have not been able to explore the concept because it is constrained by the environment and position; (5) appreciation of learners towards learning is very varied history of controversial issues, many of which have a material interest in the history of the controversial and potentially to train students to think critically to an event.

Abstract

The objectives of this action research is to know (1) The implementation of Problem Based Learning in teaching of Social studies with Kars Museum as the media can improve the students understanding of history site of VII IPS students of SMP Negeri 1 Ngadirojo academic year 2015/2016. (2) The implementation of Problem Based Learning in teaching of Social studies with Kars Museum can improve the students achievement learning of VII IPS students of SMP Negeri 1 Ngadirojo academic year 2015/2016. The methods of this study is Classroom Action Research in two cycles. The subject of this research is the students of VIIE of SMP Negeri 1 Ngadirojo sub-province Wonogiri academic year 2015/2016. Object of the research is teaching learning process that consist of creativity and students activities in teaching learning process, the implementation in history site and the achievement learn of students.The result of this study shows that the implementation of Problem Based Learning in the teaching of Social Studies with Kars Museum as the Media of the students of VIIE class of SMP N 1 Ngadirojo sub-province Wonogiri that held in two cycles (1) result of the study show that the implementation of Problem Based Learning in the teaching of Social Studies with Kars Museum as the media of the students of VIIE class of SMP N 1 Ngadirojo sub-province Wonogiri can improve the students understanding of history site. In cycle I, student which have understanding of history site pertained high and very high is 60,71% then there is an improvement to the history site in cycle II, the students which have understanding of history site pertained high and very high about 85,71% so the students understanding to the history site pertained high more than 85%. (2) There are 10 students that increase on the score of the achievement learning of the students passing grade from the cycle pre that get score as the passing grade or more from the passing grade, in the cycle I increase become 21 students (75,00%), in the cycle II increase become 25 students (89,29%). The average value increase from cycle I 74,64 to 79,64 in cycle II.

Abstract

Model of problem based learning (PBL) is a learning approach where students are exposed to a problem that then through the problem solving the students learn the abilities through inquiry and thought so it can make the student become independent in learning and solving problems. This research aims to determine whether the application of the model of problem based learning (PBL) in the teaching of history can improve critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of history lesson of students in the third grade of social class 1 of State Senior High School 1 Wuryantoro Wonogiri,Academic  Year 2015/2016. This study is a Class Action Research (Classroom Action Research) consists of three cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research subject is the third grade students of social class1 State Senior High School 1 Wuryantoro Wonogiri involving 25 students. Data collection technique used tests, observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the research showed based on test results, critical thinking skills students acquired in the first cycle with an average value of 73.40 and classical passing grade 64%, the second cycle with an average value of 77.20 and classical passing grade 80%, and the cycle III with an average of 80.60 and classical passing grade 88%. While the study results obtained by students in the first cycle with an average value of 73.20 and classical passing grade 68%, the second cycle with an average value of 76.60 and classical passing grade 76%, the third cycle with the average value at 80.20 with the achievement of 84% passing grade . The application of the model problem based learning (PBL) can improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) To determine the application of learning models Cooperative Learning to Make A Match technique in teaching social studies at VIIE grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Gesi Sragen the academic year 2014/2015. (2) To determine the Application of Cooperative Learning learning model with Make A Match technique can improve learning achievement IPS VIIE grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Gesi Sragen the academic year 2014/2015. This study uses a Class Action Research (Classroom Action Research). The subjects of this study were students of class VII E SMP Negeri 1 Gesi Sragen. This data collection is done by using interviews, tests, observation, and questionnaires. Mechanical engineering data validity checking with triangulation method. Technical analysis is done by penggumpulan of data, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research process conducted three cycles, in each cycle includes four stages: planning action, action, observation and reflection. The results showed that: (1) Implementation of the learning model of Cooperative Learning to Make A Match technique in teaching social studies in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Gesi can be implemented properly. Students can be encouraged to learn while playing, in a manner to match each card being owned. IPS Learning becomes more interesting, students more easily understand the content of the material presented by the teacher, because the students have been preparing for study before following study. (2) Research has been carried out proved that the learning outcomes of students in participating in the learning process is increasing. In the pre-cycle the number of children while that scored in the top 75 a total of 11 students (34.38%) . While the first cycle while children who scored in the top 75 to as many as 14 students or 43.75% of the the total number of students. In the second cycle  while the students who scored in the top KKM (75) as many as 23 students or 71.8%  on the number of students entirely. The third cycle students  who scored in the top 75 by 28, or 87.9% with an average of 85.6 hump.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce effective learning media to meet the needs of teachers and students in teaching and learning in schools. The resulting learning media is media-based history teaching social interaction visualization era Sriwijaya Kingdom to improve the tolerance of students in SMAN 5 Surakarta where the use of social media interaction visualization era Sriwijaya Kingdom.In this development research, researchers were developed media visualization. This type of research is the development of media development with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The study population was class X IPS SMAN 5 Surakarta, the study sample is determined in three classes, X IPS 1 as a class experiment, X IPS 2 as the control class, and the class as a class X IPS 3 trials. Instrument used to collect data were observation, interviews, pre-test tolerance questionnaire and pre-test. Test instrument questionnaires and achievement tests include the validation of items and reliability.The results of research showed: (1) Type of instructional media history at the senior high school has been used is the type of media power point, student worksheets and textbooks, (2) Model medium of learning history in senior high school `based visualization of social interaction of society era of Sriwijaya done through the stages ADDIE and generate media visualization by video forms of learning that experienced numerous revisions and has been validated by an expert media and materials as well as further successfully tested in the classroom X IPS 3 SMAN 5 Surakarta. (3) Test the effectiveness of instructional media History based visualizationsocial interaction of era Sriwijaya Kingdom is done by comparing the value of posttest experimental class and control class with a significance level of 5% and it is known that with thit (3.76) ttab (2.00) for attitude tolerance, then the decision-Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that the medium of teaching history in senior high school based social interaction visualization of era Sriwijaya effective for increasing tolerance.

Abstract

Indonesia as a nation can’t separated from its history, each event has historical heritage like inscriptions, building, literature work, documents and others. During the learning process Indonesia's National History, especially on material the history of the kingdom of Majapahit, still considered less attractive because often memorize, should explanation of history needed to an event. Besides considered boring, the teaching of history also considered not to follow technological development. Even though technological development can be combined with needs the teaching of history. Kakawin Negarakertagama classified historical heritage which gives information related background development until the time Majapahit empire heyday. Through the improvement of digital learningn sources of indonesian national history based kakawin negarakertagama to increase the student’s ability of historical explanation in history education program, Education and Teaching Facultty, Jember University.Design the improvement of digital learning sources of Indonesian National History based on Kakawin Negarakertagama arranged by procedure ADDIE which consist of five rare. stages in research includes a preliminary study, the improvement of digital learning sources, and effectiveness test. Data analysis feasibility digital learning sources using likert scale with a range 1 until 5, whereas the effectiveness test for t test independent sample t test on program spss 19. T test on test the ability of explanation of history earned value 6,631 with significant level 0,000 (0,000< 0,025), meaning there significant influence toward digital learning sources developed, so that class experiment better than class control. So digital learning sources developed effective to improve the ability of historical explanation.

Abstract

The aims of this research were: (1) to describe the process of history learning in high school in Surakarta; (2) to develop learning material which is a module of controversial history with problem solving as learning method, and (3) to analyze effectiveness of module to improve student’s critical thinking skill. The method of this research was R&D and used ADDIE as the model. Methods of data collection were interviewing, document analysis, and critical thinking test. Data analysis was done by non parametric-statistical analysis. Results of this research showed: (1) both teacher and students still learned history by using conventional method and never been studying controversial history; (2) controversial history module got scored by validator with the score average up to 146/153 or 95%; (3) analysis result of score of students critical thinking showed the differences point between control and experiment class was 0,007 and the effectiveness score of module reached 0,01 which meant the module was effective enough to be applied to increase students critical thinking.
