Abstract

Abstract

Rating is a form of assessment of the likes or dislikes of a user or customer for an item. Where the higher the rating number given, the item is preferred by customers or users. In the recommendation engine, a set of ratings can be predicted and used as an object to generate a recommendation by the Collaborative Filtering method. In the Collaborative Filtering method, there is a rating prediction model, namely the Matrix Factorization and K-Nearest Neighbor models. This study analyzes the comparison of the two prediction models based on the value of Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) and the prediction results generated using the movielens film rating dataset. From the analysis and testing results, it was found that MAE = 0.6371 and RMSE = 0.8305 for the Matrix Factorization model, while MAE = 0.6742 and RMSE = 0.8863 for the K-Nearest Neighbor model. The best model is Matrix Factorization because the MAE and RMSE values are lower than the K-Nearest Neighbor model and have the closest predicted rating results from the original rating value.

Abstract

Abstract

Purpose: The benefits of technology in education are among the essential factors in the Work From Home (WFH) period. One of these learning media innovations is the design of mobile-based interactive M-Learning. Interactive M-Learning is a dynamic learning technology where the learning process contains theory and questions and features animation, game interaction, and sound and video. Methods: The learning revolution from computers to mobile is an effective way because the mobility and network connections that have been presented on mobile devices make it easier for users to access information as proposed by Mushtaq. Interactive M-Learning applications are designed with UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling by utilizing several diagrams such as Usecace, Activity, Sequence, Class Diagram to determine the actors involved in the description of the activities that occur in the use of the M-Learning system. Result: The design results are translated into an application using Adobe Flash and then implemented on Android mobile devices. Adobe Flash is software used to create images and animations.  The results of M-Learning, which have become an application, provide convenience in the distance learning process with a concept. Novelty: It does not provide simple learning but is also attractively designed.

Abstract

Abstract

The ride-hailing service is now booming because it has been helped by internet technology, therefore many call this service online transportation. The magnitude of the potential for growth in online transportation service users also increases the risk of user satisfaction which could have declined therefore the company is increasing in its service. Both in terms of application and services provided by partners/drivers of the company. During each trip, the online transportation application will record device movement data and send it to the server. This data set is usually called telematic data. This telematics data if processed can have enormous benefits. In this study, an analysis will be conducted to predict the risk of online transportation trips using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm based on the obtained telematic data. The data obtained is telematic data so it must be processed first using feature engineering to obtain 51 features, then trained using the SVM algorithm with RBF kernel and modified C values. Every C value that is changed will be used K-Fold cross-validation first to separate the testing data and training data. The specified k value is 5. The results for each trial obtained accuracy, Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) and Area Under the Curves (AUC), for the best that is at C = 100 while the worst at C = 0.001.
