Abstract

  Salvation is a gift from God that is given to humans freely through Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of the world. The fall of man into sin, makes human spiritual decline and live in sin. However, because God loves humans, it is God who took the initiative to seek humans (Gen. 3:8-9) and promised to save and restore human life through the redemption that God would work out in Jesus Christ on the cross (cf. Gen. 3 :15). This promise is seen when God was incarnated in the flesh, born of a woman, namely Mary. And this refers to the person of Jesus Christ who was born of female offspring. In John 3:16, it is the fulfillment of God's promise in Genesis 3:15. These two verses are continuous with God's actions in realizing His promise to save His people through the female offspring, namely Jesus Christ. Therefore, the principle of salvation in both Old and New Testament times is the grace of God. That is why in this paper, the author analyzes the term his descendants crush your head and you will bruise his heel indicating the realization of the promise of salvation that will be carried out by God. Therefore, the concept of salvation in Christianity is the work of God. Keywords: Salvation, God’s Grace, man, Genesis 3:15   ABSTRAKSKeselamatan adalah anugerah Allah yang diberikan kepada manusia secara cuma-cuma melalui Yesus Kristus sebagai Tuhan dan Juruselamat dunia. Kejatuhan manusia ke dalam dosa, membuat spritual manusia merosot dan hidup dalam keberdosaan. Namun karena Allah mengasihi manusia, maka Allah yang berinisiatif untuk mencari manusia (Kej. 3:8-9) dan berjanji akan menyelamatkan dan memulihkan kehidupan manusia melalui penebusan yang akan dikerjakan oleh Allah di dalam Yesus Kristus di kayu salib (bnd. Kej.3:15). Janji ini terlihat ketika Allah berinkarnasi dalam daging, yang lahir dari seorang perempuan yaitu Maria. Dan hal ini merujuk pada pribadi Yesus Kristus yang telah lahir dari keturunan perempuan. Dalam Yohanes 3:16, merupakan penggenapan janji Allah dalam Kejadian 3:15. Kedua ayat tersebut berkesinambungan dengan tindakan Allah dalam merealisasikan janji-Nya untuk menyelamatkan umat-Nya melalui keturunan perempuan yaitu Yesus Kristus. Oleh karena itu prinsip keselamatan baik pada zaman Perjanjian Lama maupun Perjanjian Baru adalah kasih karunia Allah. Itulah sebabnya dalam tulisan ini, penulis menganalisis istilah keturunannya meremukkan kepalamu dan engkau akan meremukkan tumitnya menunjukkan realisasi janji penyelamatan yang akan dikerjakan oleh Allah. Oleh karena itu, konsep keselamatan dalam Kekristenan adalah karya Allah.   Kata Kunci: Keselamatan; Anugerah Allah, manusia, Kejadian 3:15

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan bagian dari proses pembentukan manusia. Tulisan ini berjudul landasan historis pendidikan Kristen. Sebagai bagian dari proses pembentukan, pendidikan Kristen memiliki latar belakang sejarah mulai dari dimulainya hingga perkembangannya, sehingga dapat menjadi landasan bagi pendidikan Kristen masa kini. Pendidikan Kristen merupakan upaya untuk mendorong orang-orang untuk mendapatkan hubungan yang sungguh-sungguh kepada Allah. Pendidikan Kristen bukanlah semata-mata bagian dari kurikulum pendidikan sekolah. Pendidikan Kristen merupakan proses untuk mengenal kasih Allah melalui Yesus Kristus yang sudah terjadi sejak zaman Perjanjian Lama hingga abad ke-20. Tulisan ini membahasa permulaan pendidikan Kristen dalam Perjanjian Lama yang dimulai dari keluarga dan terkait erat dengan pendidikan Yahudi. Ulangan 6:4-9 merupakan metode atau cara yang digunakan orang Yahudi untuk mendidik anak-anak mereka. Sertelah pembuangan orang Yahudi juga telah memiliki model dan konsep pendidikan yang berbeda. Perjalan pendidikan Kristen juga berkaitan erat dengan warisan pendidikan yang ditinggal oleh Yunani maupun Romawi. Bahkan beberapa metode atau konsep pendidikan Yunani diadopsi oleh bapak-bapak gereja untuk mempelajari dan menggali Firman Allah. Dalam Perjanjian Baru, pendidikan berpusat kepada Yesus Kristus, karena memang Yesus pusat pengajaran itu sendiri. Dalam pelayanan-Nya di dunia, Yesus pun menggunakan metode dalam mengajar, diantara metode bercerita, perumpamaan, diskusi, Tanya jawab dan sebagainya untuk menyampaikan pengajaranNya kepada pendengar. Pendidikan Kristen juga terus maju paska kenaikan Kristus ke surga dimana para rasul sebagai penerus pengajaran yang memuridkan orang lain untuk melanjutkan pengajaranNya, sehingga pendidikasn Kristen terus berkelanjutan hingga pada abad ke-20.

Abstract

Kristologi merupakan doktrin penting dan central bagi iman Kristen. Oleh karena itu, melihat sejarah doktrin Kristologi diperlukan untuk melihat asal dan perkembangannya. Penelitian ini merupakan deskripsi sejarah asal-mula dan perkembangan doktrin Kristologi. Peneletian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Metode ini dipilih agar lebih mudah dalam mengumpulkan data-data literatur yang berkaitan dengan topic penelitian. Pembahasan mengenai kehidupan dan pribadi Kristus sudah dimulai sejak abad permulaan. Penyesatan doktrin Kristologi sudah terjadi pada abad permulaan. Pandangan yang berbeda tentang doktrin kristologi membawa kepada pertikaian yang pada akhirnya harus diselesaikan melalui konsili. Diskusi mengenai Kristologi ini masih terus berkembang hingga mencapai puncaknya pada abad ke-19.

Abstract

Church must be understood as supernatural spritual institution as bearers of divine mandates on this earth, spiritual mandates and social mandates, be spiritual blessing and physical blessing. Church has taken the form of formal and legal institutions as such as social institutions. Then,the problems are the character and the impact of churches are not better than the social institution. Its because they lost their boot mandates. Those mandates originate and move from two church shahadas,love God and love others. The ambivalance among shahada and character,mandate and function cause churches are on intersection of become social institution or a spiritual institution. To back to their origin function,churches face two challenges. They are bravery to take off the deadly tradition,system,and theologies and then back to biblical tradition,system,and theologies.

Abstract

This theme discusses the exegetical study of contextual evangelism in 1 Corinthians 9: 19-23. Contextual evangelism has always been an interesting topic in discussions of Missiology and Ecclesiology. Although sometimes controversy, contextual evangelism is still one of the effective methods of preaching the gospel to the neglected tribes. The preaching of the cross-cultural gospel was one of the points Paul talked about with the church in the city of Corinth. The Apostle Paul said that preaching the gospel was a must for him (1 Corinthians 9:16). And in chapters 9: 19-23 the apostle Paul tells how the method or method he used to preach the gospel to those who are culturally different from himself. Gospel preaching is a mandate or the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus to believers, and must be preached to all tribes and languages. In preaching the Gospel, Paul sets an example that is a strategy in contextual evangelism. The Apostle Paul willingly devoted himself "I made myself a servant, 1 Corinthians 9:19." Paul also adjusted to be able to understand those of different cultures "by becoming like". So you can win as much as possible. As well as a strong vision to win as many people as possible for Christ, so that they become saved. Paul understood the mandate given, to make Jews and non-Jews to be mursed Christ. Challenges and obstacles in preaching Inil are always there, but understanding methods based on God's word is the choice to get rid of these obstacles.

Abstract

At the end of 2019, the whole world and Indonesia were shocked by the emergence of the new coronavirus disease 2019. It has been more than a year since this disaster struck. The number of victims around the world has reached more than one hundred million with the death toll of more than two million people. Various efforts have been made to prevent the spread of this virus, one of which is social restrictions so that it has an impact in various areas of human life. One of the impacts is the missionary service which usually carries out social and face-to-face interactions. By using qualitative research methods with a literature review approach, observation, and interviews and then describing, this study will provide answers and solutions for mission service strategies during the Covid19 pandemic. The results of this study found answers to mission services online or online. By utilizing internet networks and social media, the gospel can still be preached despite social restrictions. Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Tiktok are some social media applications that can be used for mission services during the Covid-19 pandemic, through these applications this news can be presented in the form of writing, audio, and video which are shared via social media. This strategy, with its strengths and weaknesses, provides a great opportunity to continue working on the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Sin is an attitude that destroys human life (Ps. 32: 3-4; 51: 4, 7). Since the fall of the first man in the garden of Eden, all humans have been under the bondage of sin (Gen. 3; Rom. 5:12-14). Over time, all attempts at repair fail and one error leads to another (Isa. 64:6; Rom. 3:10-12). Various issues regarding the sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit as an unpardonable sin have caused anxiety in the hearts of believers because they think they have committed the sin without realizing it. This study uses the descriptive method of literature as the method used to describe or present the results based on a literature review as well as by extracting hermeneutics and exegesis of texts in the synoptic gospels. The purpose of this study is, first, to describe the notion of blaspheming the Holy Spirit as an unpardonable sin, using appropriate and biblical principles. Second, compare the results of the interpretation with several interpretations that contrast with the statements of the Bible in other parts that take all sin seriously (Rom. 6:23). Third, every believer has a complete understanding of the meanings of sin, so that they can seriously live in Christ.

Abstract

The stability of faith is a vital necessity in human life, especially when facing difficult or complex situations. This study aims to describe Hana's steadfast belief in living a stressful life and outline her theological reflections on the lives of today's believers. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a narrative analysis approach to the Bible text 1 Samuel 1:1-28. The study results show that Hana's faith is built by the tri-center synergy of faith: first, remain grateful for whatever happens. Second, keep earnestly hoping and trusting God fully. Third, stay focused and faithful to do your part.   AbstrakKekokohan iman merupakan kebutuhan vital dalam kehidupan manusia, terlebih ketika menghadapi situasi sulit atau berat. Kajian ini bertujuan memberikan deskripsi tentang keteguhan iman Hana dalam menjalani  hidup yang penuh tekanan dan menguraikan refleksi teologisnya bagi kehidupan umat percaya masa kini. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam kajian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis naratif terhadap teks Alkitab 1 Samuel 1:1-28. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa iman Hana dibangun oleh sinergitas tripusat iman yaitu: pertama, tetap bersyukur atas apapun yang terjadi. Kedua, tetap bersungguh-sungguh berharap dan percaya penuh kepada Tuhan. Ketiga, tetap fokus dan setia melakukan bagiannya.

Abstract

A mission is the sending of a church for believers to preach the gospel in the midst of the world to the unbelievers. The implementation of the mission can be realized properly, a strategy or steps are needed to achieve the goal. From the existing data, in Indonesia alone there are still 131 neglected tribes who have not heard the gospel news. Looking at this data, the mission strategy of preaching the gospel is still very much needed to increase the number of existing evangelistic mission strategies. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods through exposition studies. The author conducted an expositional study of the Gospel of Matthew 9:35-38 with the OIA model (observation, Intepretation, Application), to find a mission strategy for preaching the gospel of Jesus. The results of this study found a mission strategy for preaching the gospel of Jesus which is divided into three steps. Compassion as the basis of the strategy of preaching the gospel, moving to reach all places, and preaching and teaching. These findings encourage every Christian to become more active in missionary ministry. ABSTRAKMisi merupakan pengutusan gereja bagi orang percaya untuk memberitakan Injil di tengah dunia kepada mereka yang belum percaya. Pelaksaan misi dapat terealisasi dengan baik, diperlukan strategi atau langkah-langkah untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Dari data yang ada, di Indonesia saja masih terdapat 131 suku terabaikan yang belum mendengar berita Injil. Melihat data ini, strategi misi pemberitaan Injil masih sangat diperlukan untuk menambah jumlah strategi misi penginjilan yang sudah ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisa deskriptif melalui studi eksposisi. Penulis melakukan studi eksposisi terhadap Injil Matius 9:35-38 dengan model OIA (observasi, Intepretasi, Aplikasi), untuk menemukan strategi misi pemberitaan Injil Yesus. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan strategi misi pemberitaan Injil Yesus yang dibagi dalam tiga langkah. Belas kasih sebagai dasar strategi memberitakan Injil, bergerak menjangkau segala tempat, serta  memberitakan dan mengajar. Temuan ini mendorong setiap orang Kristen untuk semakin giat dalam pelayanan misi. Kata-kata kunci: Misi; Strategi, pemberitaan; belas kasihan; mengajar

Abstract

The church is a collection of believers who have been called from darkness to light to belong to God and to be witnesses in the midst of the world. As God's representative in the world, the church carries out the Great Commission mandated by the Lord Jesus to make all ethnic groups disciples of Christ. The Bible records that the early church or the early birth of the church there was a tremendous multiplication movement. Starting from 120 disciples then 3000 and then there were many people who believed in Christ and became His disciples. However, the situation changed after 313 or after the Edict of Milano, the missionary movement of evangelism was no longer like the era of the early church. The church spends more of its time resolving internal conflicts. These changes are still happening today, and in the end the church has become less effective in completing the Great Commission. The church is still busy in resolving internal conflicts, building elephant churches, not adopting unreach people groups and even not making disciples. The church must adapt in order to be effective in accomplishing the Great Commission. Build a missionary church, send, disciple and multiply. So that the church becomes effective in completing the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus.
