Abstract

The Acehnese in Indonesia from Pidie district are fond and proud of their traditional sport or martial art called Geudeu-geudeu. Thus, there are some concerns by these Acehnese to perform the martial art in competitions since there are dangerous moves that do not have clear regulations on their conducts. Based on this problem, this study proposes some modifications on the regulations in performing Geudeu-geudeu. This is deemed important to encourage the people to perform and preserve this traditional sport. A number of ten Geudeu-geudeu coaches were interviewed to collect data. The results of the interviews revealed that there are 11 indicators and 92 items from the modification variables of Geudeu-geudeu regulations which include the game field, rounds, players and weight of players, age, equipment, form of moves, general rules, restrictions, scoring, violations, penalty, jury, referee and judge. Regarding the modification of Geudeu-geudeu regulations, 62.23% of the participants strongly agreed to it, 34.24% chose to agree, 3.26% chose to disagree and 0.27% strongly disagreed. Hence, it can be concluded that more than half of the participants support the modification of Geudue-Geudeu regulations to make this traditional sport more accessible and maintained by the Acehnese by performing them in competitions or traditional ceremonies.Keywords: modification, regulations, geudeu-geudeu, martial art, traditional sport.

Abstract

This Daily Proficient English Speaking Training is a community service program which aims to provide English language learning for students. This activity was carried out by lecturers at STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh. The activity carried out during the training was the presentation of basic English material using the Prezi presentation media. This service program is designed to train STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh students to be able to communicate in English daily. With lecture-style training techniques and direct practice, community service activities run well, explaining the important parts of learning English and knowing how to overcome the obstacles faced when learning English.

Abstract

In this modern era, technological developments have certainly shown extraordinary progress. Humans are also required to continue to develop and improve their abilities and quality, to be able to master technology and communications that are developing internationally, so that they are able to face increasingly fierce global competition. To create superior, intelligent and quality humans, this can be produced through providing quality education. Therefore, in this case teachers have very important duties, functions, roles and positions, because quality education comes from qualified, qualified, experienced and professional teachers. That is why teachers must always develop and improve their abilities in order to become professional educators. Teachers need to have professional standards by mastering the material and learning models that can encourage their students to want to learn. Professional teachers must have good teaching skills, have broad insight, master the curriculum, master learning models, master technology, always be up to date, have a good personality and be a good role model. Talking about learning models, it is time for us to reinvent learning models that are appropriate to current developments in order to be able to create people who are superior, intelligent, qualified, experienced and not outdated. One of the newest educational issues in the current development of globalization and technology is the Blended Learning learning model which combines face-to-face learning and online learning. Therefore, Blended Learning is a learning model that can be used and utilized to realize the demands of the current digital era of education. And to develop and improve the professionalism of educators in the era of industrial revolution 4.0, the blended learning model is one way to develop and improve the professionalism of educators in accordance with current conditions.

Abstract

The problem underlying this community service is the limited skills of teachers at SMA 1 Muara Tiga District. Pidie organizes the online learning process using online features. The aim of this service is to provide understanding and skills in utilizing online features as an online learning medium. The training method is carried out by lectures, discussions and exercises. The results of this service activity are; Teachers understand the features used in implementing online learning, have skills in using online features such as Zoom Meeting and Google Classroom. Another benefit obtained from this training is that apart from being able to learn online, participants are also equipped with the skills to make learning videos using the zoom meeting feature by presenting the material accompanied by a display of the learning material. This is one strategy for implementing offline-based learning, so that students do not depend on the internet network.

Abstract

Implementation of Socialization to Empower Housewives to Be Entrepreneurs in the Art of Sewing in Kumbang Indah Village. The aim is for housewives to gain insight, knowledge about training programs, skills and entrepreneurial skills education. Abstract

Community Service (PKM) is one form of the tridharma of higher education through the dedication of lecturers and students to the community which is also a process of self-maturation by interacting directly with the wider community. Community Service (PKM) is also an effort to realize more efficient education, namely education that is directly experienced by lecturers and students, so lecturers and students do not only get material, but more importantly, the theories obtained in the lecture hall must also be applied in the field, especially in the community environment of Lamseunong Lama Hamlet, Kajhu Village, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency.

Abstract

Community service carried out by students is a service to the community. Community service activities are an effort to educate the nation's life, so one of the activities that need to be carried out by students in the field of education is to carry out community service. To compile community service activity programs in the educational aspect, it is necessary to carry out counseling activities with the aim that students can carry out community service activities well and on target. This activity can be carried out well and produce several student activity programs in the field of Education, namely teaching Indonesian, teaching mathematics, teaching drawing, teaching reading the Qur'an, and helping teachers teach in PAUD. This activity targets elementary school students who also involve the village community, village officials, and parents of students in Kaju Village, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a community service model that focuses on empowering families in educational, economic, social and environmental aspects. KKN places students living with the community in forming institutions or community development, especially existing community institutions. Through this KKN, students together with the community identify problems and mobilize all existing potentials for the progress of the community. Based on this, we propose a work program in Gampong Meunasah Mee, Kembang Tanjong District, Pidie. The purpose of this work program is to provide evidence of devotion to Gampong Meunasah Mee, especially the community and village officials. This activity can be carried out well and produces several KKN student activity programs in the field of Education, namely teaching TPA, teaching the Koran, teaching computers and organizing volleyball tournaments and social services. This activity targets children, parents of students, the community and also, village officials in Gampong Meunsah Mee, Kembang Tanjong District, Pidie Regency. This activity is beneficial for the village community for future development and progress, especially for the apparatus. This activity is expected to provide provisions for the village community and village officials in managing and organizing the village well.

Abstract

Tekno Park is one of the strategies for developing edupreneurship and teaching factories in vocational high schools through cooperation and collaboration between vocational schools, government, universities, the world of industry and business, and other stakeholders. This research aims to describe how the development of teaching factories in Vocational High Schools through technopark innovation as well as the factors inhibiting the implementation of technoparks in Vocational Schools in Aceh Province. This research is a qualitative descriptive research conducted at three technoparks developed at vocational high schools in Aceh Province. The research subjects in this study were 30 respondents. Data was collected through observation instruments, documentation studies, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data display, and verification. The research results show that: (1) The implementation of technoparks at vocational high schools is carried out through the N-Tuple Helices model which involves government components, implementing vocational schools, other vocational schools, universities, vocational school alumni, the industrial and business world, and the community. The obstacles faced by vocational schools in developing technoparks include: (1) lack of productive teachers; (2) Technopark does not yet have patent rights and distribution permits for Technopark products; (3) obstruction of widespread marketing; (4) inadequate facilities and infrastructure; (5) limited working partners; (6) policies regarding the development of vocational schools and encouraging business and industry to partner with vocational schools; (7) budget.

Abstract

Darul Ulum Islamic Middle School Banda Aceh which has goods that must be managed well, quality and availability maintained. Inventory items must be managed and data well so that all inventory items are recorded in a system called Development of an Inventory Information System at Darul Ulum Islamic Middle School in Banda Aceh based on CodeIgniter. There are important inventory items that must be recorded in each room so that all inventory is recorded and handled properly. The inventory system currently used cannot display inventory history, the search for tools and goods is still manual, and the condition of the inventory items is not detected or is no longer suitable for use. The CodeIgniter-based inventory information system is a system that the author created to facilitate the performance of employees at Darul Ulum Islamic Middle School in Banda Aceh in managing inventory. Inventory data becomes more effective, efficient and data recapitulation is more accurate. The output from this system is in the form of inventory reports, user reports and item conditions.
