Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the systems and procedures for cash receipts and disbursements associated with merchandise inventory. This research was a qualitative study to describe the business flow of incoming and outgoing items by looking at the accounting information system design. The object of this research was Tirta Pharmacy located in Jember Regency, East Java. The type of data in this study was primary data in the form of observations and interviews with pharmacists in Tirta pharmacy. Data analysis was carried out in this study in order to analyze obstacles and problems regarding financial reports, the functions of the data obtained, and procedures related to the design of accounting information systems with the aim of implementing a good financial statement accounting information system and can improve efficiency and stabilization of operational activities, especially in the drug supply division at Tirta Pharmacy.. The results of this study propose systems and procedures for cash receipts and disbursements, as well as suggestions for using information technology in carrying out company operational activities.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a very important role in supporting the improvement of the economy of Wringinsongo village, Malang Regency. MSME production of papaya chips and MSME of production of jemblem are currently the leading products in Wringinsongo village and have very good prospects. The main problems that are faced by the business development of MSME papaya chips production and MSME jemblem production are the production process is very simple, there is no product development or diversification, the number of product turnover is limited and the quality is not guaranteed, and the condition of the equipment is very simple and not feasible. In addition, only one type of product is produced and made according to their own tastes and there is no good packaging so that they are less attractive to consumers. The solutions to the problem solving carried out in this community service are by providing training and assistance on how to innovate products and diversify products, provide assistance with machines and equipment that support the production process, train how to design several packaging models, labeling, and brands for the product to be produced to make it more attractive, and train the development of effective sales and promotions through online marketing through several social media such as Instagram and Facebook. The results after training and mentoring show that there is an additional variety of product types and packaging that can directly increase sales turnover.

Abstract

ABSTRAKS   Informasi yang tidak sempurna dan tidak simetris mengakibatkan timbulnya ketidakpastian yang dihadapi konsumen tentang atribut dan/ atau manfaat apa yang didapat dari sebuah produk.  Dalam kondisi seperti ini penting bagi perusahaan untuk menyampaikan informasi terpercaya kepada konsumen, yaitu informasi yang jujur dan perusahaan harus bersedia dan mampu menyampaikan apa yang telah dijanjikan. Merek yang kredibel berpengaruh terhadap  kesan kualitas, resiko yang diterima dan biaya informasi. Kemudian kesan kualitas, resiko yang diterima dan biaya informasi akan mempengaruhi manfaat yang diharapkan.  Dan selanjutnya akan mempengaruhi sensitivitas harga konsumen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah wanita dewasa yang berdomisili di kota Malang dan sampelnya adalah wanita berumur 17 sampai sengan 45 tahun yang menggunakan shampo Anti Ketombe dari satu atau lebih merek-merek yang sedang diteliti. Jumlah responden 100 orang dan metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah nonprobability sampling, dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah quota sampling. Uji empiris menggunakan Metode Analisis Jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kredibilitas merek berpengaruh terhadap sensitivitas harga konsumen. Selain itu kredibilitas merek berpengaruh secara tak langsung terhadap sensitivitas harga konsumen melalui kesan kualitas dan manfaat yang diharapkan; Kredibilitas merek berpengaruh tak langsung terhadap sensitivitas harga konsumen melalui melalui biaya informasi dan manfaat yang diharapkan. Pengaruh kredibilitas merek terhadap sensitivitas harga konsumen melalui resiko yang dirasakan dan manfaat yang diharapkan tidak signifikan. Temuan ini tidak konsisten dengan temuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan Erdem dan Swait (1998). Hal ini menurut peneliti disebabkan oleh responden dari penelitian yang peneliti lakukan cenderung mudah percaya dengan informasi-informasi yang ada disekelilingnya dan kurang peduli dengan keberadaan merek shampo yang dipakai di waktu yang akan datang. Berbeda dengan mahasiswa non gelar di U.S. University, mereka cenderung lebih hati-hati   Kata kunci: kredibilitas merk, sensitivitas harga ABSTRACT   As products information in the market is not perfect and symmetrical, it causes consumer’s uncertainties about the attributes and/or the benefits of a product. In such a condition, it is important that companies provide credible information to consumers. The information should be sincere and companies should be willing and capable in delivering what has been promised. A credible brand will impact perceived quality, perceived risk and information cost. These perceived quality , perceived risk and information cost will in turn impact consumers’ expected utility. This will subsequently impact consumer’s price sensitivity. The population in this study was adult females who live in Malang and the sample is female adults aged from 17 years old to 45 years old who use one or more of four brands of anti-dandruff shampoo. The number of respondents is 100 people and the sample was taken using non-probability sampling. The sampling collection techniques is quota sampling. The path analysis is applied for empirical testing. The result of this study showed that brand credibility impacts on consumers’ price sensitivity. Brand credibility also had indirect impact on consumers’ price sensitivity through perceived quality and expected utility . Brand credibility has indirect impact on price sensitivity through information cost and expected utility. The impact of brand credibility on consumers’ price sensitivity through perceived risk and expected utility was found to be insignificant. This finding was inconsistent with the finding from the study done by Erdem and Swait (1998). The researcher believe that the difference is caused by the fact that the respondents of present study tend to believe the information around him/her and not care wether the shampoo brand now will exist. This mindset is arguably different from those of diploma students in American university where Erdem and Swait (1998) took their sample The foreign students tend to be more careful in choosing brands.   Keywords: brand credibility, price sensitivity

Abstract

Community Service is one of a lecturer’s duties in the Three Services of Higher Educational Institution. A lecturer has to do the three duties mentioned in the regulation (lecturing, conducting researches, and doing community services). The main objective of conducting this entrepreneurship training programme is to make the teachers in TK IT Al Ma’un able to grab business opportunities in the society to give them additional income. The method planned for this programme is by giving the teachers a training on entrepreneurship entitled How to Start A Business. The steps of the programme are as follows: preparation, implementation, followed with question and answer session. Seen from the implementation of the community service done on August 15, 2018 in TK IT Al Ma’un Jl Asparagus 25 Sengkaling Dau Malang, it could be said that the teachers were excited in joining the programme. Many teachers asked a lot of questions about the programme.

Abstract

 This community service aims to increase corn marning business income, at the Corn Marning Center in Kecamatan Pandanwangi, Kampung Simpang Teluk Bayur, Kota Malang. The Corn Marning Center in Malang City is a family business, which was initiated in the 1980s, and the business management is still simple.  Not yet using a financial recording system, because they think financial records are not important. The marketing system is still simple, which only relies on an order system and waits for consumers to come, as well as the product's marketability is still simple.The partners of this service are UMKM which have a Corn Marning business, starting from the process of making Corn Marning to selling it in their own shops, namely Toko Cahaya and Toko Adnan. The purpose of this PKM-Kemitraan is to provide knowledge about the Concept of Financial System Recording by using a simple program, making it easier for UMKM to record and understand the financial system, provide training on online marketing and manufacturing of more modern product packaging, and providing equipment assistance in the form of Pedal Sealer Machines needed by both UMKM. At the end of the activity, it will be evaluated, by providing assistance and monitoring based on the results of financial records, making online marketing and making product packaging for 1 month.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service activity is to introduce the concept of Planet, People and Profit in business management management at UKM Batik Blimbing Malang. This Community Service Activity is carried out in the implementation of this activity divided into 2 (two) stages including a preliminary survey in the form of observations and interviews. From the results of observations and interviews. After that, the implementation was carried out on March 27, 2021. The activities were carried out using lecture and question and answer methods. UKM Batik Blimbing Malang has actually implemented the concept of Planet, People and Profit but has not yet known the terms in detail in the concept. The implementation of this PKM can help make it easier to introduce products by combining the uniqueness of batik and the 3P concept

Abstract

By using the critical success factors of enterprise resource planning, this study aims to determine the success rate of ERP that has been implemented. This research was a qualitative research to describe the evaluation of the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning. The object of this research was Tirta Pharmacy located in Jember Regency, East Java. The type of data in this study was primary data in the form of observations and interviews with pharmacists at Tirta Pharmacy. Data analysis was carried out to evaluate the implementation of ERP by using Critical Success Factors (CSF) from the results of a literature review of various sources. This was used as a reference for how effective the implementation was in the Company. The results of this study prove that ERP implementation has succeeded in helping the company's operational activities because there is support from top management, project management, adequate training and education, sharing knowledge, and clear vision and goals that have been determined.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the influence of Entrepreneurship Education, Internal Locus of Control, the Necessity of Achievement, Creativity, Gender and Family Against intention Entrepreneurship. Samples are accounting majors followed the entrepreneurship education by 100 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The analytical tool used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis is linear regression with significant test F and t. Results of the analysis states that (1) jointly entrepreneurship education, inernal locus of control, need for achievement, creativity, gender, the family has a significant influence on intense entrepreneurship, (2) more often followed the entrepreneurship education for students entrepreneurial intentions Polytechnic Malang higher, (3) The higher the ability to control internal locus of control intention of entrepreneurship for students Polytechnic of Malang higher, (4) higher need for achievement, the intentions of entrepreneurship for students of the higher Polytechnic of Malang, (5) Higher creativity, entrepreneurial intentions for students of the higher Polytechnic of Malang, (6) Men have influence entrepreneurial intentions for students Polytechnic of Malang higher than women, (7) The higher the entrepreneurial intention MKA family support for students Polytechnic of Malang will be higher.

Abstract

Total quality management (TQM) and budget participation become a significant step for the company to achieve optimal employee performance. For this reason, this study is intended to add empirical evidence related to the relationship of these variables. 39 respondents were selected to this research through questionnaires distribution to all employees who involved in budget participation on company which apply the TQM concept at the Sugar Factory of Malang. Multiple linear regression analysis with Partial Least Square (PLS) is used to analyze. The analysis results prove that TQM and budgetary participation have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Malang berkomitmen menyelenggarakan Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha (PMW) untuk menumbuhkembangkan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswa dan meningkatkan jumlah mahasiswa berwirausaha yang lahir dari lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi. Pada masa pandemi Covid-19 peraturan Pemerintah mewajibkan untuk menghindari kerumunan, sehingga pelaksanaan kegiatan Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha dilaksanakan secara daring. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mensosialisasikan aplikasi Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha berbasis Web. Peserta pelatihan adalah perwakilan mahasiswa dari seluruh program studi Politeknik Negeri Malang dan Penerima bantuan modal usaha pada PMW. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah demonstrasi dan praktek. Kegiatan ini diawali narasumber mendemonstrasikan cara pengoperasian aplikasi PMW berbasis web. Kemudian, peserta diberi manual cara mengoperasikan aplikasi tersebut, sekaligus praktek. Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta memahami dan mampu mengoperasikan semua menu dan sub menu aplikasi Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha (PMW) berbasis Web. Selain itu, pelatihan ini diharapkan membantu proses administrasi, mulai dari seleksi proposal usaha, pengumpulan revisi proposal, laporan kemajuan, artikel, dan laporan akhir.
