Abstract

ABSTRACTPsychosocial development is a lifetime process in every child development stage. This study aimed to analyze 1) the differences of family and children characteristics, value of child to psychosocial stimulationon betwen boys and girls children, and also to analyze 2) the corelation and influence of family and children characteristics, value of child to psychosocial stimulation. This research was using cross sectional study. One hundred was taken from families who have 2-3 years old children and live in Medan Labuhan district and Medan Area district. The results showed that no differences in mother’s age, mother and father’s education, family size, value of child and psychosocial stimulation to their boys and girls. There was a significant negative corelation between children age and value of child. There was no positive corelation between family characteristics, children characteristics, value of child and psychosocial stimulation. There was a significant positive corelation between value of child with psychosocial stimulation. Value of child have a significant positive effect on psychosocial stimulation.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology affects the development of instruments for measuring child development. The tool developed follows Permendikbud RI No. 137 of 2014 by utilizing technology based on the digital format of Jotform. This study aimed to create a digital format-based child social-emotional development measurement instrument at the Ceria Anak Foster Care Park (TARA). This research uses a mixed method with an (RD) approach and uses the ADDIE research model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews and validation tests through the expert judgment of measurement, material, and I.T. experts. Then a limited trial implementation was carried out on 2-3-year-old children in a foster park for children. The results of expert judgment show that the measurement instrument for social-emotional development using the Jotform application in the TARA program is declared very feasible with revisions. The percentage of the feasibility of the measurement instrument is 100%, the rate of material feasibility is 88%, and the portion of application feasibility is 100%. The results of the limited trial implementation show that the measurement instrument of children's social-emotional development using the Jotform application in the home-based childcare program is feasible to use. The percentage of the feasibility of the measurement instrument after being implemented with a limited trial was 72.6%. Recommendations for further research can test the effectiveness of measuring children's socio-emotional development using the Jotform digital format to implement child assistance at the daycare or childcare.

Abstract

Abstrak: Gempa bumi mengakibatkan keluarga terdampak gempa mengalami dampak fisik dan sosial sehingga memerlukan pendampingan rehabilitasi sosial untuk memulihkan kehidupannya. Salah satu bentuk kegiatan pendampingan yang dapat diberikan yaitu pelatihan keterampilan makrame. Tujuan pelatihan ini untuk memberikan keterampilan makrame kepada keluarga terdampak gempa di Cianjur. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan praktik. Partisipan pada kegiatan pelatihan ini berjumlah 20 orang perwakilan keluarga terdampak gempa di Desa Warungkondang Cianjur. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan observasi dan wawancara untuk mengetahui umpan balik dari peserta pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan persentase peningkatan hasil kegiatan pelatihan sebesar 85%. Sehingga pada akhir kegiatan, seluruh peserta mengetahui dan mempraktikkan pembuatan makrame strapbag dan keychain. Saran keberlanjutan kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat dilanjutkan pemberikan pelatihan mengenai pemasaran produk.Abstract: The earthquake resulted in earthquake-affected families experiencing physical and social impacts that require social rehabilitation assistance to restore their lives. One form of assistance that can be provided is macrame skills training. The purpose of this training is to provide macrame skills to earthquake-affected families in Cianjur. The methods used in this training activity are lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and practices. The participants in this training activity amounted to 20 representatives of earthquake-affected families in Warungkondang Village, Cianjur. Monitoring and evaluation were carried out by observation and interviews to find out feedback from training participants. The results of the activity found that all participants were able to participate in the activity and practice making strapbag and keychain macrame. Suggestions for the sustainability of this training activity can be continued by providing training on product marketing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada penguatan motivasi kepada masyarakat akan pentingnya pendidikan anak sebagai investasi keluarga untuk menjadi agen perubahan sosial dalam menanggulangi kemiskinan. Kemiskinan merupakan salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh Indonesia, dan pendidikan anak dapat menjadi aset investasi yang akan membangun kesejahteraan ekonomi dan sosial keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan melakukan studi literatur. Tujuan penulisan adalah agar masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan akan pentingnya menginvestasikan pendidikan kepada anak sebagai agen perubahan dalam menanggulangi kemiskinan. Perlunya penguatan motivasi yang kuat akan investasi dalam pendidikan anak merupakan strategi efektif untuk memperkuat motivasi investasi keluarga dan mendorong perubahan sosial dalam penanggulangan kemiskinan. Pendidikan bukan hanya memberikan manfaat individual, tetapi juga berdampak luas pada kemajuan sosial dan ekonomi suatu negara. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa investasi dalam pendidikan anak dapat menjadi katalis bagi perubahan sosial yang signifikan dalam mengatasi masalah kemiskinan. Dengan meningkatkan motivasi masyarakat untuk berinvestasi dalam pendidikan anak, diharapkan dapat membantu keluarga-keluarga untuk keluar dari lingkaran kemiskinan dan menjadi agen perubahan sosial yang positif. Temuan penelitian ini dapat menjadi landasan bagi pengambil kebijakan dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya dalam merancang program dan strategi yang lebih efektif untuk mengatasi masalah kemiskinan melalui investasi dalam pendidikan anak.

Abstract

This paper explores the role of digital transformation in enhancing economic development within single-parent families. The study investigates how digital technologies contribute to economic empowerment, financial stability, and opportunities for single parents, ultimately influencing their overall economic well-being. The study also identifies challenges related to digital divides, access barriers, and the need for digital literacy among single-parent families. Literature review is conducted in this study to provide a comprehensive understanding of the impact of digital transformation on economic development in single-parent households. Overall, the research emphasizes that the digital transformation empowers single-parent families by providing access to flexible work, educational opportunities, financial tools, and social support networks, which may lead to improved economic outcomes and well-being. Recommendations for policymakers, organizations, and digital technology providers include promoting digital inclusion initiatives, expanding access to affordable digital services, and enhancing digital literacy programs tailored to the needs of single-parent households.
