Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of motor balance with deaf children's dance creation in Anak Hebat Kindergarten Semarang. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive study. The data collected through interview techniques, observation, and data collection techniques (documents). The main informants in this study were 1 dance teacher and 2 class teachers, and the triangulation informants were 3 parents. The data analysis techniques used the theory of Milles and Huberman. The validity of the data uses the triangulation method. The results showed that dance motions for deaf children were repeated so that children could easily remember the motions. Dance motions that are taught can train children's motor balance such as jumping to the right and left with rotating arms and right and left legs raised one by one in turn, then there are circular motions by jumping with alternating legs, there are also tiptoe movements while the body bounces. These motions are motions that can train the balance of deaf children. There are two aspects, namely the creation of dance motions in deaf children and motor balance. Creation dance motion deaf children have a range of indicators of understanding of dance for deaf children, choreography forms of dance, characteristics of dance for children, the benefits of dance for deaf children. Motor balance also has a range of indicators namely understanding motor development, factors affecting motor development and elements of motor learning. The conclusion of this research is that dance learning is carried out continuously and motions that are easy and repetitive are important things that must be applied in dance learning for deaf children so that children easily understand and memorize. This study recommends that teachers should be even more varied in learning so that children do not get bored, in learning dance for deaf children, special techniques are reproduced again.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the personal hygiene and describe the factors that influence personal hygiene related to healthy food and the incidence of infectious diseases in toddlers from scavenger families in the Pekalongan City Landfill. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive study. Data are collected through interviews, observation, and data collection techniques (documents). The main informant in this study is 3 parents who have toddlers, and triangulation informants 1 TPA chairman, 1 health center health worker, 1 Posyandu cadre. Data analysis technique uses the theory of Milles and Huberman. The validity of the data uses the method triangulation. The results of this study are that the family of TPA scavengers already know personal hygiene and every day serves healthy food that contains nutrition for their families, especially to children, by paying attention to personal hygiene when serving food, but there are still residents in the environment around the landfill who do not keep themselves clean properly and the living environment that does not receive enough attention from the cleanliness aspect. This results in infectious diseases such as diarrhea and ARI. Several factors that can influence personal hygiene include knowledge, attitudes, expectation practices, individual habits, and the physical environment in which they live. For parents who have toddlers to pay more attention to personal hygiene and healthy food, especially the physical environment in which they live to prevent infectious diseases.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan prosedural kognitif anak usia TK B melalui media pasir berwarna. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bustanul Athfal ‘Aisyiyah Darussalam Kabupaten Magelang dengan menggunakan metode pre eksperiment design melalui One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa TK B di Bustanul Athfal ‘Aisyiyah Darussalam Kabupaten Magelang yang berjumlah 60 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sampling purposive, dimana kriteria penentuan sampelnya adalah siswa yang belum menggunakan pasir sebagai media pembelajaran, siswa dengan kemampuan kognitif rendah, dan kurangnya pengembangan kemampuan prosedural kognitif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 anak. Hasil pretest dan posttest memiliki nilai rata-rata (mean) kemampuan prosedural kognitif pada hasil pretest sebesar 200,23 sedangkan pada hasil posttest sebesar 234,23 sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 34 poin. Adapun hasil signifikansi uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji Paired Sample t-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,00 (p<0,05). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dari kemampuan prosedural kognitif anak usia TK B melalui media pasir berwarna yaitu peningkatan kemampuan prosedural kognitif anak sebelum dan setelah perlakuan rata-rata sebesar 34 dengan presentase 53,3%.

Abstract

Anak menunjukkan kecerdasan naturalis dengan fungsi alat pikir yang dimilikinya, dalam tingkatan kelas maupun jenis kelamin. Kecerdasan naturalis anak menggambarkan kemampuan anak dalam berpikir. Berdasarkan hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beragam kecerdasan naturalis pada anak karena tidak semua anak mempunyai kecerdasan naturalis yang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan tentang perbedaan kecerdasan naturalis anak usia dini berdasarkan pada tingkatan kelas dan jenis kelamin. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Beda. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kecerdasan naturalis anak usia dini dan analisis data menggunakan Independent Samples t-Test dengan bantuan program SPSS (Statictical Package for Social Science).  Penelitian ini melibatkan anak usia 4-6 tahun atau jenjang kelas TK A dan TK B yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan di sebuah TK di Semarang yang berjumlah 35 anak. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan kecerdasan naturalis anak usia dini berdasarkan pada tingkatan kelas dan jenis kelamin. Kecerdasan naturalis anak usia dini Kelas B lebih tinggi daripada Kelas A dan kecerdasan naturalis anak perempuan lebih tinggi daripada anak laki-laki. Faktor utama penyebab perbedaan tersebut adalah peran orangtua dan guru dalam mencontohkan kegiatan positif, kemandirian anak, dan inisiatif anak dalam melakukan kegiatan.

Abstract

NUTRITIONAL PARENTING ASSISTED WHATSAPP; DIGITAL LITERACY TO SUPPORT THE HEALTHY GENERATION OF ACHIEVERS. Parents have an important role in a family. Parental involvement in childcare has great potential to be developed. The potential of parents in parenting can be optimized through the potential of human and technological resources. In the current digital era, the potential for parental involvement can be strengthened by whatsapp-based digital literacy. Whatsapp is a technology resource that can convey various forms of messages such as text messages, voice messages, picture messages, even voice and video calls. This activity aims to empower parents in providing balanced nutrition for children through whatsapp-based parenting activities. The target group used as partners in this activity are parents of toddlers who attend Pos PAUD, at Pos PAUD Lestari II, Semarang City, Central Java. The method used in this activity was the initiation and parenting of whatsapp continuously. The results of activities carried out in the form of whatsapp-based nutrition parenting groups, the number of participants consisted of 20 parents, the results showed there were 85% of parents who had high enthusiasm when whatsapp parenting took place and 35% of parents were able to practice balanced diet for children. This activity needs to be continued given the limited number of parents who can practice balanced diet, the next activity can be in the form of literacy strengthening through peer education activities as an effort to increase parental involvement in fulfilling children's nutritional intake.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan gangguan pertumbuhan kronis, anak stunting akan mengalami dampak yang mengkhawatirkan antara lain penurunan kualitas sumber daya manusia hingga dampak kesehatan di masa dewasa. Tujuan pengabdian adalah untuk memberikan edukasi deteksi dini stunting pada bunda Pos PAUD Gugus Durian dalam rangka menurunkan angka stunting di Kota Semarang. Kegiatan pengabdian telah berlangsung pada Bulan Agustus Tahun 2020 dengan melibatkan bunda Pos PAUD Gugus Durian sebanyak 13 orang, pelaksanaan edukasi melalui metode ceramah dan diskusi. Adapun pelaksanaan berlangsung secara tatap muka dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Hasil kegiatan telah memenuhi target yaitu target jumlah peserta sebanyak 88%, ketercapaian tujuan pengabdian yang ditunjukkan dengan respon positif peserta saat berdiskusi, ketercapaian target materi dengan pemberian materi melalui media powerpoint dan modul serta kemampuan peserta dalam penguasaan materi ditandai dengan kemampuan analisis kasus perawakan pendek yang ditemukan di lingkungan sekitar. Adapun rekomendasi dari hasil pengabdian ini adalah perlu adanya workshop lanjutan guna peningkatan keterampilan bunda PAUD dalam melakukan deteksi dini stunting pada balita.

Abstract

Setiap anak memiliki potensi dan senantiasa perlu mendapatkan stimulasi dalam proses tumbuh kembangnya, Pemerintah telah memberikan ruang bagi anak untuk mendapatkan hak tumbuh kembang melalui Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu). Pelaksanaan Posyandu mengalami hambatan selama pandemi berlangsung dan berdampak pada pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak oleh kader dan orang tua. Minimnya jumlah kader, kurangnya partisipasi aktif orang tua dan belum adanya media komunikasi yang efektif merupakan masalah yang dihadapi secara nyata di kelurahan Mangunsari, kota Semarang. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah adalah melakukan sosialisasi media komunikasi efektif (telehealth) berbasis website yaitu situmbang.com guna pemantauan tumbuh kembang di Posyandu Lestari 2, kelurahan Mangunsari. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian meliputi perancangan website, sosialisasi website dan evaluasi. Pada tahap rancangan website situmbang pada bulan Juni – Juli Tahun 2022, selanjutnya tahap sosialisasi website pada 40 peserta yang terdiri dari kader Posyandu di kelurahan Mangunsari pada Agustus 2022. Terakhir pada tahap evaluasi, kebermanfaatan produk dilakukan dengan memberi instrumen pada seluruh peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan 78.6% peserta memberi respon positif untuk mengaplikasikan website dan 82.6% peserta menyatakan website situmbang.com bermanfaat serta sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Rekomendasi yang didapatkan berdasarkan sosialisasi website situmbang.com yaitu perlu dukungan pihak terkait agar kader dapat mengaplikasikan website.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam tentang peran ayah dalam mengembangkan literasi anak usia 5-6 tahun di TKIT Sekargading Semarang. Penelitian ini mengambil 6 responden, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakanobservasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik observasi dilakukan dengan cara observasi Teknik wawancara dilakukan dengan terstruktur dimana peneliti memberikan pertanyaan yang sama kepada responden penelitian. Analisis data penelitian ini dengan reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah peran ayah dalam mengembangkan kemampuan literasianak usia 5-6 tahun di TK IT Sekargading Semarang sudah ada kesadaran untuk terlibat dan mengambil peran dalam kegiatan literasi. Ditunjukkan dengan meluangkan waktu, pemberian fasilitas yang memadai untuk mendukung kegiatan stimulasi anak, menumbuhkan motivasi dan memberi teladan untuk terbiasa terhadap buku, serta melakukan pendekaran secara emosional dengan anak.
