Abstract

This service is motivated by the independent curriculum policy which has a program to improve literacy and numeracy of students. Strengthening literacy and numeracy for students at SDN 022 Kota Jambi requires the involvement of various stakeholders such as school supervisors, principals teachers, and teaching staff at school. The purpose of the literacy and numeracy service at SDN 022 Jambi City is first, to hone and strengthen the knowledge and numeracy skills of students in interpreting numbers, data, tables, graphs and diagrams. Second, to apply literacy and numeracy knowledge and skills to solve problems and make decisions in everyday life based on logical considerations. Third, forming and strengthening resources (SDA) to be able to compete and collaborate with other nations for the prosperity and welfare of the nation and state. The literacy and numeracy program is carried out in the form of making reading corners, literacy trees, numeracy ice, making fraction pizzas and socializing the 3 big sins of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif dan kritis mahasiswa  kelas B prodi Pendidikan Sejarah. Model Project Based Learning ini di pilih sebagai solusi yang ditemukan peneliti di lapangan tentang masih rendahnya kemampuan berfikir kretif dan kritisnya mahasiswa di lihat dari pembuatan tugas makalah dan tampilah power point presentasi mereka, cara mengajukan dan menjawab pertanyaan di mata kuliah pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, Implementasi Tindakan, Observasi dan Analisis dan Refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara studi dokumentas dan studi literature. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa  pemanfaatan Model Project Based Learning Berbasis Infografis pada Mata Kuliah Pancasila dapat  Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berfikir Kreatif dan Kritis Mahasiswa. Presentase siswa dengan kemampuan berfikir kreatif pada siklus I adalah 37,5. Pada siklus II presentasenya naik menjadi 56,8 dan pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan presentase menjadi 91,1. Sedangkan untuk kemampuan berfikir kritis mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I presentase di peroleh adalah 36,0. Pada siklus II presentase diperoleh 59,8 dan pada siklus tiga mengalami kenaikan menjadi 80,4.

Abstract

Abstract: Student delays in completing thesis are problems that are always faced by students in the final semester. In the process of education as a student to obtain a bachelor's degree, students will be faced with a thesis final project. Thesiis is a terim usied to define a scientific paper in the form of an explanation of the results of undergraduate researich that diiscusses a proiblem or phenomienon in a partiicular fiield of science by usiing applicable rules. Students who are able to write and compile theses are considered to be able to combine their knowledge and skills in understanding, analyzing, describing, and explaiining problems related to the scientiific field they take. However, ini realiity miany studeints have diifficulty in completing their thesis, so it is not uncommon for studenits to complete theiir thesis beyond the allotted time or more than four years. This study aiims to identifiy and describe the factors that cause studeints to be late in completing their final project (thesis). This research was conducited using qualiitative reseairch methods wiith source analysis techniques and Miles and Hubermen model analysis. The results showed that the factors that caused students to be late in completing their final assignments (thesis) in the Pancasila and Civic Education study program at Jambi University were influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. The first is the lack of motivation to graduate on time and assumes that writing the thesis is difficult, the second is the individual's self-intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. The third is external factors, namely the lack of availability of learning resources in libraries such as books, journals, and articles. scientific as a source of reference in the thesis. The fourth factor is the environmental factor of peers or playmates. Another factor that is also a support is the family's economic factor that requires students to work for extra money and also the hard upbringing factor of parents which makes students depressed.

Abstract

This iresearch was motivated by the low learning creativity of class XI TBSM students at SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci which was obtained by 16.90% who were creative in learning. Then the learning model used by the teacher when learning takes place does not have a tendency to improve students' creative thinking skills, students tend to be monotonous, students' knowledge is only limited to what is obtained from the teacher, students have difficulty in developing the knowledge gained from learning and students do not dare to express ideas, ideas or opinions. The purpose of this study is to find out that the inquiry learning model can ncrease the learning creativity of class XI TBSM students on Civics subjects at SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci. The design of this research is action research conducted by the teacher in the classroom. This research procedure is designed for 3 ciycles, where each cycle is carried out in 3 (three) face-to-face meetings. The action design in each cycle in this classroom action research is divided into 4 (four) stages, namel. Based on the results obtained during the implementation of classroom action research, it can be explained that the results of increasing student learning creativity in cycle I in this study showed the average percentage value of student learning creativity was 50%. Then classroom action research was carried out in cycle II where the average value of the percentage of student learning creativity became 64% which means it has increased but has not reached the KKM. Next, classroom action research is carried out in cycle III where the average value of the percentage of student learning creativity increases to 75% . This figure has shown that the average percentage value of student learning creativity has reached the KKM criteria of 75. Then it can be concluded that the application of the inquiry learning model at SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci can increase the learning creativity of class XI TBSM students in Civics.

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the initial observations of this study were the teacher's obstacles in the implementation and learning activities of Civics in grade VII which were accompanied by low student cognitive learning outcomes. This study was conducted with the aim of describing the problems of learning Pancasila and citizenship education for class VII.E at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data and data sources were obtained from informants, namely PPKn teachers who teach in class VII.E and 10 students in class VII.E with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, the findings and conclusions of the results of this study are as follows: First, on planning activities. The problem that occurs is the difficulty of teachers in preparing RPP in accordance with the principles of RPP preparation. Second, on implementation activities. The problems that occur are a) the teacher has difficulty controlling the condition of class VII.E in the last lesson, b) the ability to understand and think critically of class VII.E students is still low, c) lack of availability of PPKn learning media. Third, on the assessment of learning outcomes. The problems that occur are a) the teacher does not assess attitudes and skills, b) the cognitive learning outcomes of class VII.E students in PPKn subjects

Abstract

One of the problems in this research is the low learning motivation of students at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi. This is thought to be due to the low level of parental education. To examine this problem, the researcher conducted a study by distributing a questionnaire to selected respondents who were representative of the population at other research sites. This study aims to analyze the educational level of parents and the motivation to study the Civics Education subject for grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Muiaro Jaimbi. The type of research in this research is ex post facto quantitative research. Where this research was conducted to determine the value of the two variables, between the independent variable and the dependent variable. By looking for the effect of this independent variable with the dependent variable. This type of research is used by researchers to find out the influence of the level of parental education on the learning motivation of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi from November 2019 to September 2020. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents (as the main data). After the questionnaire was returned, the data was processed quantitatively using SPSS. The results of the study showed that out of 77 respondents who were selected to fill out a questionnaire, the influence of their parents' education level on the learning motivation of students in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi. There are results in the high category of 38.4% of parents' education level and the high category of 37.1% of learning motivation. The conclusion is that after conducting research by distributing research questionnaires to 77 respondents at SMA Neigeri 1 Miuaro Jamibi, students' motivation to learn has high results because of the influence of parental education. Based on the results of the research carried out, it is recommended that it be investigated in other topics of discussion in a wider scope.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Cooperative Learning Model on the Critical Thinking Ability of Class VIII Students in Civics Subject at SMP Negeri 10 Jambi City. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design research design Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Jambi City. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Retrieval of research data using observation and test techniques. The data was tested by t-test and N-Gain test using SPSS 26 For windows software. The results showed that there was an influence of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Cooperative Learning Model on the Critical Thinking Ability of Class VIII Students in Civics Subject at SMP Negeri 10 Jambi City. Judging from the results of the independent t-test, namely count> ttable of 10,498> 2,004. with a df value of 54 and at a level of 5%. In the N-Gain test, the average value of the experimental class was 67.78 or 68% which was included in the quite effective category. Meanwhile, the mean or average value in the control class is 8.834 or 9% included in the ineffective category, which means that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class.

Abstract

The learning outcomes of seventh grade students at MTs Negeri 1 Jambi City in Citizenship subjects are clearly below the KKM set by the school, which is 75. This is due to the lack of student interest in the learning strategies used in learning citizenship at MTs Negeri 1 Jambi City. Because it does not succeed in captivating students' attention or inspiring them to want to learn more. The purpose of this study was to determine how the resitation approach affects the learning outcomes of seventh grade students at MTS Negeri 1 Jambi City. The type of research used was a pseudo-experiment with a pre-test-post-test-control group design. The research findings show that there is an influence between the resitation method and the learning outcomes of seventh grade students at MTs Negeri 1 Jambi City. This can be proven by the results of the Mann-Whitney test conducted by researchers, namely Zhitung of -2.118 with a Sig value. 0,034. Because the significance level is smaller than 0.05, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP N 3 Jambi City, Jalan Kh. Hasan Anang, Olak Kemang, Danau Teluk sub-district, Jambi City, Jambi. At the time the research began with observations in October 2022. This research used quantitative research. The results of this research are that after carrying out the pretest and posttest in class, the hypothesis was tested using an independent sample t-test, from which it can be seen that the sig (2-tailed) value on the output is 0.000 - 0.05. Thus h0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of critical incident active learning strategies on the PPKn learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP N 3 Jambi City. Based on the results of the paired sample test above, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the pretest and posttest of the experimental class because the sig. (2-tailed) obtained 0.000 0.05. Then, based on the results of the paired sample test above, it can be concluded that there is no significant influence between the pretest and posttest of the control class because the sig. Abstract

Introduction. The research aims to determine the values of character education in the traditional seloko of Sengeti subdistrict. The purpose of this article is to find out what character education values are contained in traditional seloko. Research methods. The research method used in this research is descriptive, namely an ethnographic study which aims to explain the values of character education in the traditional seloko of Sengeti Village. Results and Discussion. The results of this research illustrate: first, carrying out and applying various traditional seloko activities based on the Hadith and Al-Qur'an in accordance with the value of religious character education. Second, the attitude of thinking and acting in traditional seloko is based on a sense of sincerity and enthusiasm in accordance with the values of nationalist character education. Third, a responsible and trustworthy attitude in traditional seloko is in accordance with the value of independent character education. Fourth, an attitude of mutual assistance, respect and enthusiasm in accordance with the value of mutual cooperation character education. Fifth, an attitude of trustworthiness and trustworthiness is in accordance with the character education value of integrity. Conclusions and suggestions. Seloko Adat contains character education values. It is hoped that traditional institutions and the government will carry out traditional seloko training for the next generation of young people in Sengeti Village.
