Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the visual attention of the User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) of the Student Academic Information System (SIAM) website at Prima Indonesia University (Unpri) based on eye tracking to enhance user experience. Unpri, as a progressive educational institution, has utilized information technology to provide academic services for students through the online SIAM. However, the complexity of some features within the learning platform often poses difficulties for certain students in its usage. In order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the SIAM website, this research employs eye tracking methodology to observe users' eye movements while interacting with the website interface. The findings of this research are expected to provide valuable insights to the campus administration to enhance user experience, thus making the SIAM website a more effective and efficient system in supporting the learning process and academic administration at Unpri.

Abstract

Various treatments can cure pockmarks. First, you have to know the cause of the pockmarks and the strength of the pockmarked skin, making it easier to choose the treatment, one of which is dermapen, which uses Plasma from platelets. Test and compare the effectiveness of the derma pen action using Plasma from platelets with the derma pen action on the pockmarked skin surface of female Wistar rats (Rattus Copernicus). This research is a laboratory experiment to compare the effectiveness of the dermapen action using Plasma from platelets with the dermapen action on the pockmarked skin surface of female Wistar rats (Rattus novergicus) using a post-test with control group design or control samples based on treatment groups to analyze the dermapen action using Plasma from platelets with dermapenic action on the surface of rat skin pockmarks. The results showed that the dermapen treatment group with Plasma from platelets at a dose of 10% was more effective in healing cut wounds in white mice than the dermapen treatment group using Plasma from platelets at doses of 2.5% and 5%, respectively. This is because, at a concentration of 10%, blood plasma metabolite compounds from platelets that are applied to wounds already affect the wound. The effect only inhibits microorganisms at small doses, making it less effective in healing wounds. It is recommended that the minimum dose be 10% so that the metabolite compounds in the Plasma from platelets have a healing effect on wounds.

Abstract

This review explores the contrasting roles of machine-driven and human endorsers in advertising campaigns, assessing their ability to engage consumer visual attention. With its ability to tailor content and predict consumer responses, the machine-driven approach has brought new dimensions to advertising, though its influence may differ across various demographic groups. Conversely, human endorsers substantially impact consumer decisions because they can form emotional bonds, enhance authenticity, and build trust. The review encourages a perspective that sees machine-driven and human endorsers not as rivals but as complementary forces, with further studies needed to investigate how to combine these elements best.

Abstract

Background: Ischemic stroke is a type of stroke that occurs when blood arteries get blocked as a result of embolic or thrombotic events. Brain imaging tools, particularly CT Scans, are the gold standard for diagnosing stroke. Blood tests were also performed, focusing on neutrophils and lymphocytes in particular. The prognosis for stroke can be determined by the neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR). However, based on CT Scan imaging, it is currently unknown how the NLR and brain region of ischemic stroke are related.  Purpose : This study investigates the correlation between  CT scan images in ischemic stroke patients with Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR).Methods: It is a cross-sectional design study with observational method, this study involved 36 patients that were selected based on inclusive and exclusive criteria. Data was collected from medical records in Royal Prima Hospital and analyzed with Mann-Whitney Test. Results: The result shows that CT scan images in ischemic stroke patients does not have a significant correlation to NLR, with p value 0,05.Conclusion:This study reveals that there is no significant correlation between CT scan images in patients with ischemic stroke and NLR. There may be other factors that influence the NLR such as age, stress level, obesity and medication. Further research needs to be conducted to study those other factors.

Abstract

Background: The GATS research findings indicate that tobacco use in Indonesia is the highest worldwide among teenagers, with a percentage of 34.8% consumed by individuals aged 15 and above. Tobacco companies leverage this legality to market cigarettes widely to students, including university students. Smoke-free areas are government efforts to prevent smoking on campuses. Objective: To identify determinant factors affecting non-smoking behavior among smokers in smoke-free campus areas. Methods: This research study is descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional design. It used a purposive sampling technique with criteria of 74 male smoker students from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Universitas Prima Indonesia and was analyzed using a chi-square test. Results: The chi-square test analysis results indicated an effect between knowledge and attitude on non-smoking behavior in smoke-free campus areas with a P-value of 0.001.Conclusion: The research findings found that knowledge and attitude are determinant factors of non-smoking behavior among smokers in smoke-free campus areas.
