Abstract

As it is known that the roles and responsibilities of teachers, especially those teaching Islamic education is enormous. Basically, Islamic Education Teachers teach not only in charge of the subject matter, but also burdened with the responsibility to build learners who have knowledge, morals, have identity, strong character, and has a life skills guidance in accordance with the teachings of Islam. To bear all the burdens and responsibilities required different skills, especially skills as a personal ideal Islamic Education Teachers. In a variety of classical texts, books, literature until recent Islamic educational research found five terms are embedded in referring the teachers, Mudarris, Mu'allim Murabbi, Mursyid, and Muaddib. No articles are discussing a thorough and detailed those five terms in question yet. This article aims to discuss in detail and comprehensively those five terms in Islamic Education Teachers. This research uses the qualitative method with content analysis approach, all data taken from various sources which are derived from classical holy books, books, theories and expert opinion. All data that has been collected are analyzed thematically, in other words the themes that have been obtained are described comprehensively and deeply. Interestingly, the whole themes of the results of this study will be discussed with the results of the study of the researchers earlier and issues of current Islamic Education. The authors hope that this article can be a source of guidance for Islamic Education teachers to becoming an ideal individual, besides that it can also be a basis for the next researchers to discuss this problem in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur’an has been an integral part of the religious practice of Muslims since the time of the Prophet Muhammad. Memorizing the Qur’an is considered a noble act of worship and a noble achievement. The process of memorizing the Qur’an involves serious efforts in memory, understanding, and various methods. This study aims to analyze the teaching methods used in Rumah Tahfiz Andalusia. This study uses a qualitative method with a type of phenomenological research. Data sources were taken from two informants using an interview protocol. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, presentation, and leverage. Overall the results of the analysis show that there are five methods used in memorizing the Qur'an at Rumah Tahfiz Andalusia, namely: i) the Talaqqi method, ii) the iqra' method, iii) the tartil method. The results of this study have also proven that memorizing the Qur'an requires an appropriate and appropriate method

Abstract

Abdullah Ahmad's worked as a figure in the modernization of Islamic education by establishing two educational institutions in the form of private schools in 1915, namely the Adabiah School and Association of Islamic Teacher. This research explores the renewal of Islamic education carried out by Abdullah Ahmad in the education system in Indonesia, namely at Adabiah and Association of Islamic Teacher. This research uses qualitative methods with an individual life history approach. All data is collected through character biographies, literature, documents, and evidence of relics in terms of written and physical data. Data collection is carried out by collecting, reducing, and presenting data followed by conclusions. Overall, the results of the research show that there were four reforms in Islamic education carried out by Abdullah Ahmad in Adabiah. Then there are also four reforms in Islamic education at Association of Islamic Teacher. Meanwhile, the realization of Abdullah Ahmad's renewal of Islamic education in Adabiah prioritized the vision of creating a generation with civilized, ethical character in the content of akhlaqul karimah with faith and sincerity to shape the etiquette of the nation's generation and Association of Islamic Teacher. In contrast to Association of Islamic Teacher the dynamics Association of Islamic Teacher, which was founded from 1978-1983, developed, in 1988-1993 it began to decrease, then in 1993-1998 it began to increase again, entering the 2000s Association of Islamic Teacher began to decrease, both in terms of school quality and graduate, the number of students and the latest realization from Association of Islamic Teacher schools has also experienced a setback with a small number of students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze student satisfaction in online learning. This research uses quantitative methods. The data source was taken using a questionnaire from 50 active students attending college in a few Universities in Sumatra. All data is then analyzed using software SPSS Windows Version 20 and found 33 students stated that they were not satisfied with the total percentage of 60%, 3 students stated that they were very dissatisfied with the results percentage 5.5% of students, 17 students stated that they were satisfied with a percentage of 30.9 students, then 2 students stated that they were very satisfied with the online learning system with a percentage of 4%. The satisfaction in question is measured through five indicators, namely; i). level of satisfaction, ii) clarity of structure and subject matter of material discussion, iii) suitability of learning material with RPS, iv) consistency of lecturers in online learning, v) liking online learning. The five indicators used as instrument items in this research were used to determine the level of student satisfaction with the online learning system during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the public's assessment of Salafi studies. This research was conducted using quantitative methods with a survey approach. The data source was taken using a questionnaire from one hundred people in the community who were selected using techniques of simple random sampling. The questionnaire data was analyzed descriptively using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software. Overall the research results showed five public assessments of Salafi studies in Padang City. The five assessments are i) the development of Salafi studies in Padang City, ii) the preaching of monotheism in Salafi studies, iii) acceptance of Salafi studies in Padang City, iv) Salafi is not a sect or group, v) is based on pure Islamic teachings. This research has succeeded in revealing the public's assessment of Salafi studies in Padang City. These five assessments can be used as a reference for writers in developing research as well as gathering information about Salafi studies.
