Abstract

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is the president of Indonesia. He quite famous in the world. It is proved by award that he got as the world statesman conferred by the appeal of conscience foundation in May 29, 2013. This research analyzes deixis in pragmatic point of view on SBY’s speech upon accepting the world statesman award. The data for this research is in form of speech brows from online websites. This research applies a qualitative research. The result of SBY speech show that, he more often person deixis, it show 55 (74%) times, while others, he only use 10 times (14%) for place deixis and 9 (12%) for time deixis. In personal deixis, SBY most use 1st person plural (63.6%) in his speech, that is the word we and our, both of them refer to Indonesian. Thus, in his speech, he represents his self as Indonesian. It is also shown by using of proximal place (80%) along the speech. For time deixis, he more use present tense (45%) because he talk about the event that happens when speech is delivered.

Abstract

Perubahan pola pembelajaran dari tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran dalam jaringan berimplikasi pada minat dan prestasi belajar. Kedua hal tersebut perlu dianalisis untuk mengetahui perubahan perilaku serta solusi pemecahan yang dapat diberikan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh minat belajar dan prestasi belajar pada masa pandemi covid-19. Untuk mengetahui minat belajar mahasiswa data dikumpulkan melalui angket sedangkan prestasi belajar diketahui melalui kartu hasil studi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara minat belajar dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada masa pandemi covid-19. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan uji hipotesis dimana nilai t hitung yang diperoleh melebihi nilia t tabel (6,902>2,04). Lebih lanjut jika melihat pengolahan data melalui SPSS diketahui jika nilai sig yang diperoleh yaitu 0,014 kurang dari ambang batas eror yang ditolerir yaitu 0,05 (0,014<0,05) yang berarti bahwa menolak hipotesis nol dan menerima hipotesis alternatif. Implikasi dari temuan penelitian ini adalah perlu adanya perubahan pola pembelajaran baik melalui penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif maupun metode pembelajaran yang menekankan pada kegiatan komunikatif baik dosen dengan mahasiswa maupun mahasiswa dengan mahasiswa sehingga keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran akan berjalan dengan lebih optimal.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to find out teaching learning process, to find out kind of methods and to find out the obstacles. This research is deskriptive qualitative research. The subjects were 78 students. Observation, interviews, and documentation used in data colection. Analysis techniques were using reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusion. Result show that teachers used many kind of methods, they are : lecturing, question and answer method, drill, translation, grammatical translation and classical method. There are obstacles found, background of teacher’s education are not English Education, the limitation of reading resources, lack of students’ discipline, and students pasive. Penelitian memiliki tujuan antara lain untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran, untuk mengetahui metode yang digunakan guru, dan untuk mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi. Metode yang digunakan Diskriptif Kualiatif. Subjek penelitian 78 siswa. Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi, penyajian, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru menggunakan beberapa metode pembelajaran antara lain: ceramah, tanya jawab, drill, terjemah, gramatikal terjemah dan klasikal. Kendala yang dihadapi diantanya adalah background pendidikan guru bukan dari Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, terbatasnya sumber bacaan bagi guru, kedisplinan siswa yang masih kurang, dan siswa pasif.

Abstract

The activeness and cooperation of students is one of the factors for students to understand a material well. Therefore it is necessary to increase student activity and collaboration. For this reason, there is a need for a learning model that can increase student activity and cooperation. One of the learning models that can increase student activity and collaboration is the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type (TPS), because this cooperative learning model emphasizes student cooperation and discussion in groups and in learning divides students into small groups consisting of 2 students. This study aims to: 1) To determine the effect of the Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model on student activity To determine the effect of the Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model on student cooperation. This type of research is a type of quantitative research that will use ANOVA analysis. The sample used in this study amounted to 16 students in the three SMBs in the Seputih Raman sub-district. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires or questionnaires, interviews and observations. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by researchers that F count the activity of F table (0.459 3.81) then Ho is accepted. The results of these calculations can be defined that the TPS learning model has no effect on increasing the activity of SMB students. The results of these calculations can be defined that the TPS learning model does not increase the cooperation of SMB students

Abstract

Motivation is a factor that must be included in the learning process so that the learning process can be successful.This article was written with the aim of describing how to increase students motivation by using strategies such as making miniatures at the Buddhist Sunday School (SMB), and to find out the obstacles and provide insight into students beliefs about Buddhism. The researcher uses case study qualitative method, data collection method uses observation, interview and documentation. The location of this research is the Budddhist Sunday School (SMB) Dhamma Sena, Vihara Sradha Dhamma, Pokoh, Wonoboyo, Wonogiri Regency. The subject of this study, namely the Buddhist Sunday School (SMB) teacher, as well as elementary school Sunday School students. The results of this study, namely the teacher s efforts in increasing student learning motivation are using gifts/reward, using interesting learning media, appropriate strategies such as using the case study method, carrying out outbound activities or outdoor activities, and a comfortable study room that is not cluttered.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of optimizing the preparation using the inquiry learning model at SMA Negeri 1 Girimulyo, the learning process using the inquiry learning model, and the process of evaluating the application of the inquiry learning model to the Bija niyama material. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were students in class X at SMA Negeri 1 Girimulyo. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation. The results of the study show that the preparation for the application of the inquiry learning model to Buddhist education subjects for class X students was carried out by researchers by preparing lesson plans, preparing learning objectives, learning methods, learning materials, and learning media. Through maximum preparation of learning activities, the application of the guided inquiry learning model can increase student activity while learning. Student responses during learning are good and enthusiastic so that students can understand the subject matter well. For this reason, the application of the inquiry learning model to the Bija Niyama material has been successfully implemented.

Abstract

This study was conducted at one of Buddhist Homeschooling namely Kusalamitra Homeschooling. This study aimed to develop an ICT based application to learn English for Buddhist students of Kusalamitra Homeschooling. This recent study was a research and development study so it objected to develop an English learning application for the students. Subjects of this study were validators and Buddhist students. There were two techniques used to collect the data namely interview and questionnaires. The interview was used to identify students’ need in learning English. The questionnaires were used to validate the product and evaluate the product. The data collected were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. There were five procedures in conducting this study. Those were analyzing needs, designing product, developing product, implementing product, and evaluating product. Based on the research finding, this study showed that the media developed had very good quality and very worth to be implemented on the students. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu Homeschooling Buddha yang bernama Homeschooling Kusalamitra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris bagi siswa. Terdapat dua subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu validator dan juga siswa Buddha homeschooling itu sendiri. Terdapat dua teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu melalui wawancara dan penyebaran angket. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Terdapat lima langkah dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan, mendesain produk, mengembangkan produk, mengimplementasikan produk, dan mengevaluasi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan masuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan sangat layak untuk digunakan oleh siswa.

Abstract

Dari sekian banyak buah-buah yang dipasarkan terdapat limbah kulit pisang yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Selain dalam bidang perkebunan, di sekitar vihara Dhamma Mulya banyak juga yang berjualan pisang goreng. tetapi banyak dari umat buddha di sekitar vihara yang masih belum bisa memanfaatkan limbah buah pisang untuk dijadikan sebuah cemilan yang nantinya akan bernilai jual tinggi. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut tim bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan keterampilan kepada masyarakat di sekitar vihara dhamma mulya Kabupaten Kulon Progo untuk mengolah limbah kulit buah pisang menjadi camilan sehat yang dapat meningkatkan perekonomian. Produk ini akan kami beri brand CHIPS KUSANG (Keripik Kulit Pisang) Produk ini akan menjadi camilan sehat dan memiliki nilai jual lebih tinggi. Pendekatan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan Participatory Action Research (PAR). PAR merupakan pendekatan yang prosesnya bertujuan untuk pembelajaran dalam mengatasi masalah dan pemenuhan kebutuhan praktis masyarakat, serta produksi ilmu pengetahuan, dan proses perubahan sosial keagamaan. Adapun dalam tahapan-tahapan yang akan kami lakukan antara lain: Analisis situasi masyarakat, Menentukan tujuan kerja, Rencana pemecahan masalah, Pendekatan sosial, Pelaksanakan kegiatan dan yang terakhir adalah Evaluasi kegiatan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of Educandy learning media on the learning motivation of fourth grade students in Pancasila Education subjects at SD Negeri 1 Wonoboyo. This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research, namely Non-Equivalent Control Group Design, which has two groups of subjects for the experimental class and the control class. Involving as many as 36 students. Data collection techniques were observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample t-test. The use of learning motivation questionnaires to determine student learning motivation at the beginning and end. The results of the initial motivation questionnaire for the control and experimental classes respectively obtained an average value of 68.33 and 66.44, while the results of the final motivation questionnaire were 61.11 and 72.78. The hypothesis test conducted was obtained when the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000. The conclusion obtained is if there is an effect of Educandy learning media on the learning motivation of SD Negeri 1 Wonoboyo students.
