Abstract

This Community Service activity is carried out in the form of training for village cadres in using Microsoft Office software in utilizing information technology at this time. This training material was delivered to the community members in Dadimulyo Village, Kisaran Barat District, Kab. Asahan, which amounted to approximately 30 people. This service activity was carried out using lectures, demonstrations, and exercises accompanied by questions and answers. The lecture method is used to explain the introductory concept of the introduction of Microsoft Office software as one of the media in facilitating human work. The demonstration method is used to show a work process, namely the stages of introducing the tools that exist in Microsoft Office software and knowing each of their functions, while the training method is to practice directly using the application. While the question and answer method are to allows participants to consult to overcome obstacles in understanding the material that has been obtained. The final result of this activity is expected to provide knowledge to Dadimulyo village cadres regarding the use of Ms. Office, especially Ms. Word in the process of making reports to the village head.

Abstract

Akuarium air tawar banyak diminati oleh masyarakat karena memiliki daya tarik sendiri. Ketika harus meninggalkan rumah dalam waktu yang lama masyarakat yang memiliki kegemaran terhadap ikan hias di akuarium dan memiliki kesibukan cukup padat akan merasa kesulitan dalam merawat ikan. Terkadang padatnya kesibukan membuat kita sulit untuk melakukan pemeliharaan baik dari jernihnya air dan juga dari segi penerangan di aquarium. Alat ini menggunakan hardware berupa mikrokontroller ATMEGA 8535 sebagai pengontrol utama. Pembuangan dan pengisian air dikendalikan oleh pompa air yang berjalan berdasarkan ketinggian air yang diterima sensor ultrasonic SRF04. Sistem penjernih air dan penerangan aquarium secara otomatis merupakan suatu kebutuhan tambahan bagi orang yang memelihara ikan hias. Dari pengujian sistem yang dilakukan didapat hasil dimana sistem penjernih air berhasil dengan tingkat keberhasilan yang cukup tinggi, sehingga sistem ini menjamin kondisi air di aquarium akan selalu dalam keadaan bersih.

Abstract

Abstract: In this paper we discuss the development of computational application program in MATLAB to calculate the second derivative of a function by using finite difference method for various types (forward, backward, or central) and any order of accuracy. The MATLAB program extends the similar one which has been developed for the first derivative. The program is designed as an implementation of the explicit formulas of finite difference formulated by Khan and Ohba. Through this program, one can easily calculate the second derivative of a function numerically with any order of accuracy and visualize it in a graphical form. Error of numerical derivatives in each order of accuracy confirm the validity of the obtained results. Keywords: finite difference method, explicit formula, second derivative, MATLAB programming Abstrak: Dalam makalah ini dibahas pengembangan program aplikasi komputasi pada MATLAB untuk menghitung turunan kedua suatu fungsi dengan menggunakan metode beda hingga pada berbagai tipe (maju, mundur, atau pusat) dan sebarang orde ketelitian. Program MATLAB ini melanjutkan program serupa yang telah dibuat untuk turunan pertama. Program ini dirancang sebagai implementasi dari rumus eksplisit beda hingga yang diformulasi oleh Khan dan Ohba. Melalui program ini, seseorang dengan mudah dapat menghitung turunan kedua suatu fungsi secara numerik dengan sebarang orde ketelitian dan memvisualisasinya dalam bentuk grafik. Galat dari turunan numerik di setiap orde ketelitian mengkonfirmasi kevalidan hasil yang diperoleh. Kata kunci: metode beda hingga, rumus eksplisit, turunan kedua, pemrograman MATLAB

Abstract

Abstract:Chili is a production cropthatis much needed by the  community. Good care is needed to increase the production of chili plants. Production of chili plants will decrease if the types of diseases that attack are not considered. To find out about chili plant diseases, farmers only look at the disease without knowing the symptoms that appear beforehand so that it will affect the production of chili plants.So that we need experts who understand the symptoms of disease in chili plants.The existence of experts can be replaced by a system designed to detect symptoms of disease in chili plants.The expert system to be designed is web-based using the case-based reasoning method.This expert system is expected to help increase the productivity of chili plants.            Keywords:expert system; chili; case-based reasoning; chili plants.  Abstrak:Cabai merupakan tanaman produksi yang banyak dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat. Untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman cabai diperlukan perawatan yang baik. Produksi dari tanaman cabai akan menurun jika tidak diperhatikan jenis penyakit yang menyerang. Untuk mengetahui penyakit tanaman cabai para petani hanya melihat penyakitnya saja tanpa mengetahui terlebih dahulu gejala yang muncul sehingga akan mempengaruhi hasil produksi tanaman cabai. Sehingga diperlukan pakar yang mengerti mengenai gejala penyakit pada tanaman cabai. Keberadaan pakar bisa digantikan oleh sebuah sistem yang dirancang untuk mendeteksi gejala penyakit pada tanaman cabai. Sistem pakar yang akan dirancang berbasis web dengan menggunakan metode case base reasoning. Sistem pakar ini nantinya diharapkan membantu untuk peningkatan produktivitas tanaman cabai. Kata kunci:sistem pakar; cabai; casebasereasoning; tanaman cabai.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan bagi kader desa dalam menggunakan software Microsoft Office dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi di saat sekarang ini. Materi pelatihan ini disampaikan kepada warga masyarakat yang ada di kelurahan Dadimulyo Kecamatan Kisaran Barat Kab. Asahan yang berjumlah lebih kurang 30 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan latihan yang disertai tanya jawab. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk menjelaskan konsep pengantar dari pengenalan software Microsoft Office sebagai salah satu media dalam mempermudah pekerjaan manusia. Metode demonstrasi dipakai untuk menunjukkan suatu proses kerja yaitu tahap- tahap mengenalan tool-tool yang ada pada software Microsoft Office dan mengetahui masing-masing fungsinya, sedangkan metode latihan untuk mempraktikkan langsung penggunaan aplikasi tersebut. Sementara metode tanya jawab untuk memberi kesempatan kepada para peserta dalam berkonsultasi untuk mengatasi kendala dalam memahami materi yang sudah didapat. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan kepada para kader desa Dadimulyo mengenai penggunaan Ms. Office terutama Ms. Word dalam proses pembuatan laporan kepada kepala desa.

Abstract

Abstract: Neonatal are babies aged 0 to 1 month. Neonatal babies have very weak bodies and are susceptible to disease. Just being late for a problem can put a neonatal baby at risk until it can result in death. For this to be avoided requires quick diagnosis and prompot treatment of sick neonatal babies. But the problem is the lack of knowledge that parents know about neonatal infant disease based on the symptoms it brings, and the time limit and the number of pediatricians are incompatible with the large number of people seeking advice on neonatal infant disease. It's a problem that makes the diagnosis of diseases in neonatus a long time. The aim of the designed expert system is to be used as a medium of consultation in helping parents to diagnose their baby's underlying symptoms and provide the correct and immediate solution. To research this research methodology, uses a qualitative approach. The research location is in Dr. Tengku Mansyur. Systems designed with PHP programming language, the framework codeigniter and MySQL database. The test results show that the website is feasible and can be used by the community as a consultation medium in diagnosing diseases of newborns.            Keywords: expert system; neonatal disease; forward chaining.  Abstrak: Neonatal adalah bayi yang berusia 0 sampai 1 bulan. Bayi baru lahir memiliki tubuh yang sangat lemah dan rentan terhadap penyakit. Terlambat karena suatu masalah dapat membahayakan bayi yang baru lahir hingga dapat mengakibatkan kematian. Untuk menghindari hal ini memerlukan diagnosis cepat dan pengobatan segera pada bayi baru lahir yang sakit. Namun permasalahannya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua tentang penyakit bayi neonatus berdasarkan gejala yang ditimbulkan, serta keterbatasan waktu dan jumlah dokter anak tidak sesuai dengan banyaknya masyarakat yang mencari nasihat tentang penyakit bayi baru lahir. Masalah inilah yang membuat diagnosis penyakit pada neonatus menjadi lama. Tujuan dari sistem pakar yang dirancang adalah untuk digunakan sebagai media konsultasi dalam membantu orang tua untuk mendiagnosis gejala yang mendasari bayinya dan memberikan solusi yang tepat dan segera. Untuk penelitian metodologi penelitian ini, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian berada di Dr. Tengku Mansyur. Sistem dirancang dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework codeigniter dan database MySQL. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa website ini layak dan dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai media konsultasi dalam mendiagnosis penyakit pada bayi baru lahir. Kata kunci: sistem pakar; penyakit neonatus; forward chaining.

Abstract

Abstract: Community service activities entitled "Installation of Operating Systems Based on Windows 10" aims to provide information to students from MAN Asahan about Installing Windows Operating Systems. The method used in this activity is a direct observation of the MAN Asahan school by watching and analyzing the problems or troubleshooting that occurs at the Computer Lab at MAN Asahan. In addition, information on problems in the computer Labs of the school was also carried out by a team of lecturers as the perpetrators of this community service by way of direct interviews with the Teachers and employees who served in the Computer Lab of the MAN Asahan school. The end result of this dedication is how students can repair computers, as well as troubleshooting that occurs on school computers and computers at home, can be overcome alone without having to use computer repair services.Keywords: installation; operating system; Windows 10 Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diberi judul “Instalasi Sistem Operasi Berbasis Windows 10” bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada siswa dan siswi MAN Asahan tentang Instalasi Sistem Operasi Windows. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah observasi langsung ke sekolah MAN Asahan dengan melihat serta menganalisa permasalahan ataupun troubleshooting yang terjadi pada Laboratorium Komputer disekolah MAN Asahan. Selain itu, Informasi permasalahan pada komputer Lab sekolah juga dilakukan tim dosen selaku pelaku kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan cara wawancara langsung kepada Guru dan pegawai yang bertugas di Lab Komputer sekolah MAN Asahan. Hasil akhir dari pengabdian ini adalah bagaimana siswa dan siswi dapat memperbaiki komputer serta troubleshooting yang terjadi pada komputer sekolah maupun komputer dirumah dapat teratasi sendiri tanpa harus memakai jasa perbaikan komputer. Kata kunci: instalasi; sistem operasi;  windows 10

Abstract

Gallery Sahabat Muslimah is a business engaged in selling Muslim clothing or fashion needs such as robes, skirts, headscarves, socks, masks and others. Gallery Sahabat Muslimah currently does not have its own website to market the products it sells. In addition, orders are still made by recording manually so it is inconvenient if there are customers who cancel their orders. Currently, the Friends of Muslimah Gallery market its products offline and online using the FACEBOOK application media which is still an obstacle because the menu display regarding the product is not available in full, such as existing stock, ordering, promotion, and payment methods. So it is necessary to have a Customer Relationship Management system that is made in the form of a web-based system that will help to increase sales and customer loyalty because it has been computerized. This system was created to make it easier for customers to make purchases or order products, view the latest items, view product stock, view promotions and be able to make payments online or via bank and others.

Abstract

Abstract: The community service activity entitled "Fiberoptic Introduction Workshop for Triyadikayasa Aek Songsongan Vocational School Students" aims to provide information to Triyadikayasa Aek Songsongan Vocational High School students, provide education on technological developments in the world of education. The method used in this activity is direct observation to Triyadi-kayas Aek Songsongan Vocational School by observing analyzing and introducing fiber optic technology and how to install and apply it. Optical fiber is a technology of transmission media that is being developed and is widely used to connect computer networks. In addition, information on technological developments in the introduction of optical fiber is carried out by a team of lecturers and participates in bringing students to provide technology education to the community. The end result of this service is how students of Triyadikayasa Aek Songsongan Private Vocational School can understand and install build and apply fiber optic technology which is growing rapidly and developing.Keywords: fiberoptic; network; technologyAbstrak: Fiber Optik merupakan teknologi dari media transmisi yang sedang berkembang dan banyak digunakan untuk menghubungkan jaringan komputer. Selain itu, Informasi perkembangan teknologi dalam pengenalan fiber optik dilaksanakan tim dosen dan turut serta membawa mahasiswa guna memberikan edukasi teknologi kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada siswa siswi SMK Triyadikayasa Aek Songsongan, memberikan edukasi perkembangan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan. Metode observasi langsung ke SMK Triyadikayasa Aek Songsongan dengan melihat serta menganalisa dan memperkenalkan teknologi fiber optik serta bagaimana cara pemasangan dan pengaplikasiannya. Abstract

Student activity can be carried out by utilizing interactive technology and easy to use by students. E-Learning is learning that utilizes electronic media such as the internet, interactive TV and audio to deliver learning materials anywhere and anytime. In research conducted at MAS Alamanaar PTPN IV Pulu Raja, several things became obstacles in the learning process, including the limitations of learning resources based on computer and telecommunications technology. Materials that are applicable or applied should train students more but lack facilities and infrastructure, learning is still normative. Students need broad access to learning, active, creative, and a challenging learning environment. The use of the internet has not been optimal in finding learning resources. The lack of interest and interest of students in participating in learning the subjects of the IA (Natural Science) Department using conventional methods so far, which is indicated to be in line with the low student learning outcomes. Especially during a pandemic like today, schools need learning media that can be done online. Based on these problems, to support the learning process in schools, an E-Learning platform was built that can help schools in learning the IA (Natural Sciences) Department, because the features in E-Learning really help teachers and students in doing online learning, such as features materials, assignments, discussions between students and subject teachers and final grades that can be seen directly by students. The application is built using the SDLC Waterfall Model. The research method used is a qualitative method, with interview data collection techniques, observation and literature study. The results of this study, E-Learning can facilitate teachers and students for teaching and learning activities, practice questions and can overcome obstacles to teaching and learning activities, so that the E-Learning system is feasible to be implemented as a means of supporting learning in schools.
