Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors that develop market segmentation of Power Rental Equipment, as well as to reveal the profile of the segment formed by the segmentation process. This type of research is survey, which combines exploratory and descriptive research, with a purposive sampling method. The object of the research is the business customers of PT. Sumberdaya Sewatama Jakarta, with a purposive sample for a total of 48 respondents. This research using a Cluster Analysis methods.. Results of research showed the factors that necessitated priority in shaping the Market Segmentation of power rental equipment such as: delivery, quality, service, price and range. The study also profiled three segments as follows : First Time Prospect, Novices, Sophisticates on which to base further development of empirical research. The uniqueness of this study is the first market segmentation study on power rental equipment industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research investigates the condition of creative industry based on fourteen characteristics of competitive advantage including growth in turnover, transition in business, to existence of cooperative. Given the study in Indonesia, most of the creative industries in Indonesia are categorized as small medium enterprises (SME). Their sales volume, number of employees and annual profit are only at the level of small or medium business. Indonesia as a nation which has a huge numbers of SME in the world, shoud gives a bigger concern on their competitive positions Samples were taken from 200 creative industries in one of the growing area in Indonesia, Malang district. All samples represented 15 types of creative industry as regulated by Indonesia governemtn such as advertising, architecture, art, desain, etc. Data were analysed using cluster analysis. Based on agglomerative clustering, the results show that there are two clusters of creative industry in Indonesia area with low and high competitive advantage which are discussed.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of knowledge management, learning organization, and education organization on organization performance at University of Brawijaya. The Quantitative   method was applied to conduct this study. A questionnaire of four dimensions with 41 items was distributed to the sample target of 140 administrative employees at University of Brawijaya. Structural Equation modeling was used to analyze the data. The results show that there are positive relationships between knowledge management and education organization, learning organization and education organization, as well as education organization and learning organization. And no significant negative effect onthe education organization, where the stronger knowledge management, knowledge management directly and no significant negative effect on organization performance, the learning organization directly and not significant positive effect on organization performance, and that the learning organization directly and not significant positive effect on organization performance, in which the stronger learning organization tend to improve organization performance.

Abstract

This paper examines the effect of perceived value and service quality on brand trust directly and indirectly through customer satisfaction. Brand trust can be defined as the relationship between consumers and the corporate that is based on trust and reliability of its performance. Questionnaires were given to guests of three-star hotels in Malang, Indonesia, with 158 surveys returned and 114 valid responses were analyzed. Reliability and validity were examined first, and partial least squares (PLS-SEM) analysis was performed to evaluate the determinant coefficient (R2), predictive relevance (Q2), and effect size (f2). Results showed customer satisfaction partially mediates perceived value on brand trust, and fully mediates the relationship between service quality and brand trust. Future research in other developing countries, against different hotel class, with international guests, is recommended. Managerial implications were discussed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk menganalisis pengaruh  relationship marketing yang terdiri atas komunikasi, kepercayaan, komitmen, dan penyelesaian masalah terhadap loyalitas nasabah PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk Cabang Bawean. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik  purposive sampling dan diperoleh sampel yang valid sebanyak 196 nasabah. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil pengujian secara parsial terhadap  relationship marketing menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan dan komitmen memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah,  sebaliknya komunikasi dan penyelesaian masalah tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah. Selanjutnya, pengujian secara simultan diketahui bahwa  relationship marketing memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa dari keempat variabel relationship marketing tersebut, komitmen memiliki pengaruh yang paling besar terhadap loyalitas nasabah.   Kata kunci: kepercayaan, komitmen, komunikasi, penyelesaian masalah,  relationship marketing, loyalitas.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kredibilitas celebrity endorser Valentino Rossi terhadap purchase intention Yamaha Mio GT di Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 180 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa  trustworthiness, attractiveness, dan expertise yang merupakan dimensi dari kredibilitas celebrity endorser mempunyai pengaruh yang signifkan terhadap purchase intention Yamaha Mio GT di Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Dimana dimesi expertise merupakan dimensi yang paling mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Kata Kunci : Trustworthiness, Attractiveness, Expertise, dan Purchase Intention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand image terhadap minat pembelian produk Vit Levite di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Brawijaya. Sampel  penelitian sebanyak 178 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand image yang memiliki tiga variabel yaitu citra pembuat, citra produk, dan citra pemakai mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat pembelian konsumen. Diantara variabel tersebut, citra pemakai memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap minat pembelian konsumen.  Kata kunci : Brand image, citra pembuat, citra pemakai, citra produk, minat pembelian

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh electronic word of mouth (EWOM) terhadap brand image, (2) pengaruh brand image terhadap minat beli dan (3) pengaruh EWOM terhadap minat beli  smartphone  Samsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel  purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah 186 responden di kota Malang yang mengakses internet dan belum pernah melakukan pembelian  smartphone  Samsung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EWOM berpengaruh terhadap  brand image  namun tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat beli sedangkan brand image memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat beli masyarakat kota Malang pada produk smartphone Samsung. Kata Kunci: EWOM, brand image, minat beli, smartphone dan Kota Malang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lifestyle dan reference group terhadap keputusan pembelian produk smartphone Samsung di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 192 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel lifestyle dan reference group yang terdiri dari Informational references group influence, utilitarian or normative influence dan   value-expressive   influence memiliki   pengaruh   signifikan   terhadap   keputusan pembelian konsumen. Diantara variabel tersebut, value-expressive influence memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen.   Kata  kunci: Lifestyle,  Reference  group,  Informational  references  group  influence, Utilitarian or normative influence, Value-expressive influence, Keputusan pembelian

Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors that influence students attitudes on smartphone usage.Analyze focus on how strength perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use influence on attitude. This study used multiple regression analysis. Questionnaires were distribute into 118 participants. Results showed that the perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use positively and significanly impact on students attitudes in using smartphone.
