Abstract

This studys aims to determine the analysis of the effect of good corporate governance mechanisms on the company's financial performance. The sample data obtained were 47 companies for the period 2018-2020 which were associated with 5 research variables, namely 4 independent variables: Independent Board of Commissioners, Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership, Audit Committee and 1 dependent variable: Company Financial Performance Measured by Return On Assets (ROA). The data analysis methods used were coefficient of determination test, F statistic test and t statistic test. The results showed that the independent board of commissioners variables, institutional ownership and managerial ownership had no effect on the financial performance assessment as measured by ROA. While the audit committee variable has a significant effect on financial performance as measured by ROA. All variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the assessment of financial performance as measured by ROA

Abstract

Upaya pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuwangi dalam meningkatkan komptensi sumber daya manusianya tercermin melalui kegiatan rutin tahunan bernama Banyuwangi Ayo Mengajar (BAM). Salah satu kebudayaan lokal yang dimiliki Kabupaten Banyuwangi adalah budaya rewang yang bermakna gotong royong atau saling membantu satu dengan yang lainnya. Melalui penguatan kompetensi SDM dengan menanamkan budaya lokal rewang diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada anak-anak bahwa pentingnya saling tolong menolong dengan sesama. Jika anak-anak memahami bahwa antara sesama harus saling tolong menolong, tentunya hal ini akan menekan angka kasus bullying yang terjadi disekolah sehingga anak-anak dapat belajar dengan aman. Tentunya, dengan kondisi anak-anak belajar dengan aman, kompetensi SDM dapat tercipta dengan optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24 Oktober 2023 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 40 orang siswa yang bersekolah di SD Negeri Klatak. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, kemudian diakhiri dengan evaluasi melalui permainan yang memiliki makna tentang gotong royong. Peserta kegiatan memahami bahwa budaya rewang memiliki makna yang positif sehingga dapat dijadikan acuan dalam bersikap dikehidupan bermasyarakat.

Abstract

Research Objectives: The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of a hedonistic lifestyle, locus of control, and financial literacy on students' financial behavior (Case of Students at the Faculty of Economics, University of 17 August 1945 Banyuwangi). Method: The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis with a sample size of 92 respondents. Research Findings: the F test states that the hedonistic lifestyle, locus of control, and financial literacy have a suitable regression model for the dependent variable, namely financial behavior. Partially, hedonistic lifestyle, locus of control, and financial literacy influence students' financial behavior. Theoretical Contribution/ Originality: This research adds to the body of knowledge by combining the lifestyle factors of hedonism, locus of control, and financial literacy in the context of students, enriching the understanding of financial behavior. Practical Implications: The results of this research can help educational institutions develop financial literacy programs. Research limitations: This research has limitations, namely the sample is small and only covers one faculty.
