Abstract

ABSTRACTFemale adolescents are at risk of nutrient deficiency. Adolescent stress can arise due to  the social environmental factor called psychosocial stress. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between psychosocial stress, energy intake, calcium and the nutritional status of the female adolescents in Surakarta. The design of the research used was observational analytic with a cross-sectional design. The sample of this study was comprised of 166 students from 2 junior high schools in Surakarta City. The data of the psychosocial stress were collected using a Psychosocial Stress Assessment Instrument (IPSP). Then, the data of the energy intake and calcium were collected using 2x24-hour-recall questionnaire and nutrisurvey, and the nutritional status data were collected using the measurements of body weight (kg) and height (m). The data were then analysed using chi square. The results showed that there was a relationship (p < 0,05) between the psychosocial stress, energy intake, calcium and the nutritional status of the female adolescents in Surakarta.Keywords: Psychosocial Stress, Energy Intake, Calcium, Nutritional Status, Female Adolescent

Abstract

Strawberries (Fragaria x ananassa) and Rome beauty apples (Malus sylvestris) contain high antioxidants to reduce oxidative stress and improve the glycemic response with diabetes mellitus (DM) type II. This study aimed to analyze the effect of strawberries, Rome beauty apples, and their combination to decrease fasting blood glucose levels of type II DM patients. This experimental research used a randomized pre-post-test with a control group design. Subjects were 44 patients divided into four groups: K (control, not given the fruit), P1 (strawberries 200 g/day), P2 (apples 300 g/day), and P3 (the combination strawberries 100 g/day, apples 150 g/day) for 14 days in February–March 2019 in Surakarta. The inclusion criteria were DM patients aged 40–55 years who received oral antidiabetic drug therapy. Exclusion criteria were type II DM patients who, based on the doctor's diagnosis, had complications such as gastritis, hypertension, chronic renal failure, heart disease, liver disease, stroke, cancer, patients with consumption of antioxidant supplements. Mean of blood glucose level on K (149.82±39.125), P1 (141.00±38.079), P2 (128.73±31.841), and P3 (177.73±50.176). Analysis paired t test results showed a significant difference between before and after treatment (p=0.045). To find out which group was the most meaningful, the Bonferroni post hoc test. Decrease of fasting blood glucose levels with group K (−10.55, p>0.05), P1 (−30.18, p<0.05), P2 (40.27, p<0.05), and P3 (−32.91, p<0.05). ANOVA test was used to analyze, and the post hoc Bonferroni test with a control comparison was performed, resulting in p=0.028, in P2 and p>0.05 in P1 and P3. In conclusion, strawberries, Rome beauty apples, and their combination significantly decreased fasting blood glucose levels of type II DM patients, with the highest and most significant decrease in Rome beauty apples. POTENSI STROBERI, APEL ROME BEAUTY, DAN KOMBINASI BARU TERHADAP GULA DARAH PUASA SEBAGAI PENUNJANG TERAPI DIET PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE IIStroberi (Fragaria x ananassa) dan apel Rome beauty (Malus sylvestris) mengandung antioksidan tinggi untuk mengurangi stres oksidatif dan memperbaiki respons glikemik pada diabetes melitus (DM) tipe II. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh buah stroberi, apel Rome beauty, dan kombinasinya terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa darah puasa pasien DM tipe II. Jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan randomized pre-post-test dengan control group design. Subjek penelitian 44 pasien yang dibagi empat kelompok, yaitu K (kontrol tidak diberi buah), P1 (stroberi 200 g/hari), P2 (apel Rome beauty 300 g/hari) dan P3 (kombinasi stroberi 100 g/hari dan apel 150 g/hari) selama 14 hari pada bulan Februari–Maret 2020 di Surakarta. Kriteria inklusi adalah pasien DM usia 40–55 tahun yang mendapat terapi obat antidiabetik oral. Kriteria eksklusi adalah pasien DM tipe II yang berdasar atas diagnosis dokter mengalami komplikasi seperti mag, hipertensi, gagal ginjal kronik, penyakit jantung, penyakit hati, strok, kanker, dan pasien dengan konsumsi suplemen antioksidan. Kadar glukosa darah rerata pada K (149,82±39,125), P1 (141,00±38,079), P2 (128,73±31,841), dan P3 (177,73±50,176). Hasil analisis paired t test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan (p=0,045). Untuk mengetahui kelompok mana yang paling bermakna, dilakukan Uji Post Hoc Bonferroni. Penurunan kadar glukosa darah puasa pada K (−10,55; p>0,05), P1 (−30,18; p<0,05), P2 (−40,27; p<0,05), dan P3 (−32,91; p<0,05). Analisis dilakukan dengan uji ANOVA dan Uji Post Hoc Bonferroni dengan perbandingan kontrol menghasilkan p=0,028 pada P2 serta p>0,05 pada P1 dan P3. Simpulan, pemberian stroberi, apel Rome beauty, dan kombinasinya signifikan menurunkan kadar glukosa darah puasa pasien DM tipe II dengan penurunan tertinggi dan bermakna pada apel Rome beauty.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan masalah gizi balita di Indonesia adalah konsumsi makanan ibu pada masa kehamilan atau bahkan saat remaja yang tidak sesuai dengan prinsip gizi seimbang. Hasil Riskesdas 2013 menunjukkan prevalensi Kekurangan Energi Kronis (KEK) pada wanita hamil usia 15-49 tahun sebesar 24,2% dan meningkat sebesar 17,3% tahun 2018. Survei Diet Total (SDT) tahun 2014 sebesar 55,7% balita mempunyai asupan energi yang kurang dari Angka Kecukupan Energi (AKE) yang dianjurkan. Salah satu Kabupaten di Jawa Timur yang mengalami peningkatan stunting adalah Jember. Jumlah penderita stunting di Kabupaten Jember meningkat dari 17.344 pada tahun 2018 menjadi 19.870 pada tahun 2019. Masalah stunting yang paling banyak terjadi di wilayah Puskesmas Jember bagian utara, salah satunya Puskesmas Pakusari. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan perubahan perilaku sikap dan keterampilan ibu dalam memberikan makanan pada anaknya. Metode kegiatan melalui edukasi Gizi dan intervensi makanan tambahan (PMT). Lokasi kegiatan adalah wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pakusari. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat, yaitu: menambah pengetahuan, sikap, perilaku dan asupan dalam mempersiapkan dan menyediakan menu gizi seimbang makanan lokal untuk ibu hamil dan balita.  Abstract One of the factors that cause nutritional problems for children under five in Indonesia is the consumption of maternal food during pregnancy or even during adolescence which is not in accordance with the principle of balanced nutrition. The results of Riskesdas 2013 showed the prevalence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women aged 15-49 years was 24.2% and increased by 17.3% in 2018. The Total Diet Survey (SDT) in 2014 was 55.7% of children under five who had energy that is less than the recommended Energy Adequacy Ratio (AKE). One of the districts in East Java that experienced an increase in stunting is Jember. The number of stunting sufferers in Jember Regency increased from 17,344 in 2018 to 19,870 in 2019. The most stunting problems occurred in the northern part of the Jember Community Health Center, one of which was the Pakusari Health Center. The Surabaya Ministry of Health Poltekkes Service Team has service activities to the community by providing solutions in dealing with nutritional intake for toddlers and pregnant women and nutritional status through additional food interventions (PMT) and nutrition education. The location of the activity is the work area of ​​the Pakusari Health Center. Abstract

Salah satu perubahan fisiologis wanita saat hamil adalah perubahan pada sistem sirkulasi darah. Gangguan eritrosit yang masih sering pada saat hamil yaitu anemia. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kebiasaan Konsumsi Teh, Kopi dan Tablet Fe Dengan Kejadian Anemia Pada Ibu Hamil di Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini adalah analitik, dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian sebanyak 40 responden dengan sampel sebanyak 36 responden yang diperoleh dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah dengan kuesioner dengan google form. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diuji dengan uji Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh hubungan antara kebiasaan Konsumsi teh (p = 0,000), kopi (p = 0,000), dan tablet Fe (p = 0,000) dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil di Sidoarjo. Perlu upaya preventif dengan secara berkala memeriksakan kehamilan ke petugas kesehatan guna mencegah terjadinya anemia pada ibu hamil.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, people are encouraged to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Several ways can be done to prevent transmission, including the consumption of balanced nutrition and vaccines. Health promotion is important. The purpose of the service is to promote health about the importance of balanced nutrition and vaccines in the pandemic era in Surabaya. The method in this service is by providing health promotion webinars. Participants in this service were 66 participants. Before and after the provision of health promotion in the form of education, an evaluation was carried out by distributing questionnaires via a google form link containing pre and post test questions. The results of this community service show that the majority of participants aged 30-39 years (63%), participants who know about balanced nutrition have a pre-test result of 24.2%, and post-test results are obtained as much as 78.8%, participants who know about vaccines get pre-test results. test 21.2%, and post test 81.8%, while the statistical test results obtained p = 0.001, meaning that there is a significant difference between public knowledge before and after being given health promotion through webinars. It is important to give health promotion as a preventive effort about balanced nutrition and vaccines on a regular basis so that people know and apply the knowledge that has been obtained so that people stay healthy in the midst of this covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Remaja merupakan masa yang kritis saat untuk berjuang melepaskan ketergantungan kepada orang tua dan usaha mencapai kemandirian sehingga dapat diterima dan diakui sebagai orang dewasa. Masalah gizi remaja juga perlu mendapatkan perhatian. Edukasi yang tepat untuk masa pandemi sallah satunya dengan webinar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi melalui webinar terhadap tingkat pengetahuan tentang Napza dan gizi bagi remaja. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasy eksperimental, populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 113 responden dengan jumlah sampel 88 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian dengan kuesioner melalui google form. Data dianalisis dengan wilcoxon test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa setelah mendapatkan edukasi dengan webinar terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tentang Napza (p value = 0,001) dan gizi (p value = 0,000). Edukasi melalui webinar sangat efektif dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang Napza dan gizi bagi remaja. Perlu diberikan edukasi secara berkala guna meningkatkan pengetahuan terutama Napza dan gizi sehingga remaja dapat hidup sehat.

Abstract

HIV / AIDS is a disease that continues to grow and become a global problem that is sweeping the world. The prevalence of HIV cases according to WHO (2015) shows, the number of people with HIV numbered 17,325 people and AIDS was recorded at 1,238 people. Therefore, people need to know about HIV / AIDS and its dangers so as to be able to prevent the transmission of the disease properly, it is necessary to provide appropriate health education to overcome these problems. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge about HIV / AIDS and the prevention and transmission of HIV / AIDS. The level of public knowledge is measured by conducting a pre-test by filling out a questionnaire before being given health education and post-test after being given health education. The level of mother's knowledge can be measured by comparing the results of pre-test and post-test. Based on the pre-test results followed by 50 respondents. The statistical test results obtained p = 0.001, meaning that there is a significant difference between public knowledge before and after being given health education about the prevention and transmission of HIV / AIDS. The results of community service are expected to improve the health status in the Jemirahan Village community, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency, especially for the prevention and transmission of HIV / AIDS.

Abstract

Penyebaran HIV di Indonesia semakin meningkat seiring dengan jumlah orang yang hidup dengan HIV yang melakukan hubungan seks tanpa pengaman. Kasus AIDS berdasarkan faktor risiko adalah 69,6% heteroseksual, 5,7% homoseksual, penasun 9,1%, dan 2,9% kasus penularan perinatal. Jumlah kumulatif kasus HIV/AIDS di LSM Kompeda Surabaya pada tahun 2021 adalah 162 dan AIDS 193. Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh VCT terhadap pengetahuan tentang asupan gizi dan perilaku seksual berisiko pada kelompok transpuan di LSM Kompeda Surabaya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental, dengan sampel sejumlah 60 responden, dibagi masing-masing 30 responden untuk kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan wilcoxon test. Hasil menunjukan bahwa setelah mendapatkan VCT terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tentang asupan gizi (p value = 0,001) dan perilaku seksual berisiko (p value = 0,000). Layanan VCT sangat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang asupan gizi dan sikap seksual kelompok LSL. Perlu diberikan peningkatan layanan VCT secara berkala guna meningkatkan pengetahuan terutama tentang asupan gizi dan perilaku seksual berisiko penderita HIV terutama kelompok transpuan.

Abstract

Decubitus is a problem in post-stroke patients that has yet to be resolved. The risk of pressure sores can be overcome with neuroperfusion massage therapy and bed rest. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of neuroperfusion massage and bed transfer on the risk of pressure sores in post-stroke patients. The design of this research is Quasy-Experiment with pre post test control group design. The population of all post-stroke patients treated at the Arosbaya Health Center in the Bangkalan Madura area was 30 people. A sample of 28 stroke patients was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The independent variable is neuroperfusion massage and bed transfer, the dependent variable is the risk of pressure sores. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that after the intervention of neuroperfusion massage (p value 0.000) and bed transfer (0.000) there was a reduction in the risk of pressure sores in post-stroke patients. Neuroperfusion massage and bed transfer are effective in preventing the risk of pressure ulcers in post-stroke patients. It is hoped that health workers can apply bed transfer therapy with neuroperfusion massage so that pressure sores can be handled optimally.

Abstract

ABSTRAKUpaya peningkatan peran dan fungsi Posyandu bukan semata-mata tanggung jawab pemerintah saja, namun semua komponen yang ada di masyarakat, termasuk kader. Pelayanan gizi di Posyandu dilakukan oleh kader yang bentuk pelayanannya meliputi penimbangan berat badan, pengisian KMS, deteksi dini gangguan pertumbuhan, penyuluhan gizi, pemberian PMT, pemberian vitamin A dan pemberian sirup besi (Fe), Ibu hamil dan ibu nifas diberikan tablet besi dan yodium untuk daerah endemis gondok. Kegiatan gizi di posyandu merupakan salah satu kegiatan utama dan umumnya menjadi prioritas dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan Posyandu. Peran aktif kader kesehatan dipelayanan gizi sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan status gizi masyarakat terutama kesehatan ibu dan anak. Wawancara pendahuluan kepada para kader Posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Medokan Ayu, ada beberapa kader yang lupa fungsi utama dalam kegiatan Posyandu. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pelayanan gizi di posyandu. Metode dengan media leaflet dan powerpoint tentang edukasi Gizi: 5 meja posyandu, MP ASI (Makanan Pedamping ASI), PMT (Pemenuhan Makanan Tambahan) penyuluhan dan pemulihan, GTM (Gerakan Tutup Mulut) pada anak, pengisian KMS (Kartu Menuju Sehat) dan cara membaca grafik KMS serta pengukuran status gizi. Lokasi kegiatan adalah wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Medokan Ayu Kota Surabaya. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat, yaitu: menambah pengetahuan sebesar 92 % dan sikap sebesar 88 % tentang pelayanan gizi di Posyandu. Kata kunci: posyandu; kader; edukasi; gizi. ABSTRACTEfforts to increase the role and function of Posyandu are not solely the responsibility of the government, but all components in the community, including cadres. This activity aims to increase knowledge about nutrition services at posyandu.
