Abstract

The need to reduce air pollutions produced by motor vehicle and traffic congestion is prominent as it improves human health and environmental destruction mitigation. Ridesharing programme is an effort to reduce traffic congestion without preventing people doing mobility and prohibiting them to buy motor vehicle. This paper addresses to investigate the determinant of university student to ridesharing programme. Four variables with descrete items were provided t respondents to be self selected. Those are home address status, type of driving licence, student’s travel behavior to university and intention of student to ridesharing programme. Those variables are analysed in to three models. By using Logistic Regression statictical analysis, this study shows that ridesharing programme intention is influenced by the behavior of student to travel to university. Meanwhile, student travel behavior is influenced by home address status and the ownership of driving licence of students.

Abstract

Islamic University have to enhance their quality to make it more survive in this globalisation era. Consequently, it is important to identify the performance of the university. Apart from that, university stakeholder voices are important to be heard and it can be involved to increase the quality of higher education. For that reason, the main aim of this research is to identify Islamic university performance regarding to external stakeholder point of views. Hence, this research applied important-performance analysis to formulate the strategies for lifting the quality of university. For that purpose, 130 external stakeholders were gathered to be interviewed. Finally, it is found thatthe university has to pay more attention to improve the performance of computer facilities, their responsiveness to the development of the world and the fitness of curriculum to real world environment. Abstract

Pemuda adalah penggerak perubahan sosial. Artikel ini akan menganalisis hasil pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan ke pemuda untuk mempromosikan daur ulang sampah rumah tangga. Daur ulang sampah makanan menjadi fokus dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini karena banyak masyarakat yang masih belum sadar bahwa sampah makanan juga sangat penting untuk diperhatikan. Tiga topik utama yang akan diberikan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah daur ulang sampah makanan dengan composting, mengolah sampah makanan menjadi makanan binatang, menggunakan sisa bahan makanan untuk mengolah kembali menjadi kue. Topik-topik tersebut disampaikan ke pemuda untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pemuda akan daur ulang sampah rumah tangga. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sesuai dengan tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, yaitu meingkatkan pengetahuan pemuda akan daur ulang sampah sehingga dapat merangsang keinginan pemuda untuk memulai gerakan daur ulang sampah di masyarakat. Mereka juga punya keinginan untuk menyampaikan kembali materi daur ulang sampah yang disampaikan dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ke pada masyarakat di sekitar mereka tinggal. Akan tetapi, kenaikan pengetahuan mereka tidak menaikkan keoptimisan mereka dalam melakukan daur ulang sampah. Beberapa di antara mereka masih skeptis pada kegiatan daur ulang sampah makanan akan berhasil diterapkan di masyarakat.

Abstract

INCREASING COMMUNTY INVOLVEMENT AND ECONOMIC VALUE OF HOUSEHOLD AND MARKET SOLID WASTE THROUGH CULTIVATING BLACK SOLDIER FLY MAGGOTS. The Klaten Regency area has at least more than 80 traditional markets owned by villages and local governments spread across a number of locations. Every market produces organic waste. About 60% of waste is generated from traders and 40% from residents around the market. Besides that, the community also produces large amounts of household solid waste. This service activity aims to increase the economic value of waste and the involvement of the community in Gempol Village, Karanganom District, Klaten Regency through the cultivation of black soldier fly (BSF). The service method starts with team formation, formulation of goals and outcome, identification of stakeholders, data collection and needs analysis, determination of priority problem solutions, preparation, implementation, mentoring, review and evaluation, determining new needs and targets. The result shows that Gempol village is ideal when managing household and market waste through BSF maggot cultivation. Through BSF maggot cultivation, household and markets solid waste are able to add economic value in a period of 7 days to 15 days. Dry maggot has a high selling value ranging between Rp. 95.000 / kg. Maggot derivative products such as fish feed, poultry feed, fishing bait range from Rp. 325.000/kg. The first outcome from this service activity was the enthusiasm of the community to be involved in managing household and market solid waste. The second outcome was stakeholder involvement, in this case the Environment and Forestry Service (DLHK) of Klaten Regency. The third outcome is opportunities for cooperation between participants (especially farmer groups) and universities. Participants hope that there will be sustainable activities, mentoring, and collaboration with other parties.

Abstract

The population of green consumer have been increasing enormously over last few decades. Hence, many managers prefer to reduce or to avoid environmental impact that may arise from their industrial activity, including product design and development. Regarding that phenomenon, this paper describes the Green Quality Function Deployment (QFD) II method that is utilized to evaluate the concept of lamp. The Green QFD II integrates quality, environmental, and cost aspects into Concept Comparison House (CCH). Weight of each aspects has been determined by utilizing the Analitic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The best product and it characteristics are presented at the las section of this paper. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Semakin berkembangnya green consumer menyebabkan banyak industri yang mulai memikirkan masalah lingkungan dalam setiap aktifitasnya, seperti halnya dalam proses perancangan dan pengembangan produk. Pada artikel ini akan dibahas metode Green Quality Function Deployment (QFD) II yang diterapkan untuk mengevaluasi konsep produk lampu. Metode ini tidak hanya mempertimbangkan aspek kualitas tetapi juga memperhatikan aspek lingkungan dan biaya ke dalam matriks-matriksnya. Ketiga aspek tersebut masing-masing dijabarkan dalam Quality House, Green House, dan Cost House. Untuk memberi bobot pada tiap aspek, pada penelitian ini digunakan metode Analitic Hierarchy Process. Pada Green QFD II ini, untuk mengevaluasi konsep produk digunakan matriks Concept Comparison House (CCH) yang mampu mengintegrasikan aspek kualitas, lingkungan, dan biaya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diperoleh konsep lampu terbaik dan karakteristik lampu yang berkualitas, ramah lingkungan, dan biaya rendah. Abstract

Konsumsi produk ramah lingkungan kini menjadi gaya hidup yang popular yang mulai diikuti oleh pemuda. Beberapa penelitian membuktikan bahwa perilaku konsumsi produk ramah lingkungan lebih didorong oleh motivasi sosial dan emosional daripada motivasi fungsional. Keterlibatan pemuda dalam kegiatan dan organisasi ramah lingkungan mendorong dia untuk melakukan kegiatan yang ramah lingkungan dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya. Penelitian ini melaporan hasil studi minat beli terhadap produk ramah lingkungan kepada 124 mahasiswa di tiga Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Surakarta. Tiga variabel yang akan diuji adalah, keikutsertaaan mahasiswa dalam organisasi ramah lingkungan, consumer guilt jika tidak melakukan kegiatan ramah lingkungan, dan minat beli terhadap produk ramah lingkungan. Hasil path analysis dan effect size measure untuk menguji mediasi menunjukkan bahwa, consumer guilt mampu menjadi mediator dari hubungan keikutsertaan mahasiswa dalam organisasi ramah lingkungan dengan minat beli mahasiswa terhadap produk ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Considering the importance of customer-based improvement, the current paper presents the evaluation of Shar-E, an electronical banking product of Bank Muamalat Indonesia, by using fuzzy quality function deployment (QFD). From this research, it can be concluded that the availability of Automated Teller Machine (ATM) are the most important factor wanted by the customer to be present. Subsequently, providing good online systems such as network, banking transaction by online, and safety of Shar-E are the most important activities that should be well developed by BMI in order to respond to customers' needs and wants.Keywords: e-banking, Customers' needs and wants, Fuzzy theory. Abstract

Purpose – This paper aims to investigate the structural model of customer guilt, perceived customer effectiveness, self-monitoring, and green purchase intention. Methodology – The present study is a survey of university students in four universities in Greater Surakarta. These students are involved in student organisations such as scout and university student hiking club. PLS-SEM is implemented in this study to compute structural relationships among variables. Findings – The result shows that customer guilt and self-monitoring affect green purchase intention. However, this study cannot prove that perceived consumer effectiveness is the mediator of  customer guilt and self monitoring to green purchase intention. Originality – This study proposes a model for green purchase intention of specific groups of young people who are more aware of environmental issues.

Sampel yang digunakandalampenelitian Structural Equation Model (SEM) kali iniadalah 400 responden. Data yang digunakanadalah data primer. Pengumpulandatanyamelaluiteknikkuisioner.Hasil daripenelitianmenyimpulkantigatemuan. Pertama, online consumer review berpengaruhsignifikanterhadapkepercayaan (trust).Artinya,semakinbanyakkonsumenmembaca online consumer review, makasemakintinggikepercayaankonsumenterhadapproduk dan penjual online tersebut. Abstract

Worldwide Covid-19 pandemic leads people live in healthy life to avoid this disease. Wash hand using clean water and hand soap or hand sanitizer is one of the forms of reducing the possibility to suffer from Covid-19. The making of hand sanitizer is essential to be introduced to the society through community engagement activities. This activity aims to improve the skill of the audience to produce alcohol based-hand sanitizer. Along with Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, the Centre for Science and Technology UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta conducted a workshop for producing alcohol based-hand sanitizer. This workshop is presented to DWP UIN Raden Mas Said members. The workshop was delivered by using an educational training lecture; lecture and training. The trainer introduced the materials and the step by step of making hand sanitizer. After the workshop, evaluation is conducted by distributing online-questionnaire to the audience. Four aspects were evaluated are material for producing hand sanitizer, tools and instruments for producing hand sanitizer, production process of the hand sanitizer, and what are the role and function of material for hand sanitizer. By using Wilcoxon sign-test, the results of the evaluation show that the audience have a significant understanding in terms of the knowledge to material and tools for producing hand sanitizer.
