<![CDATA[ABSTRAKFasilitas pelayanan kesehatan rumah sakit memiliki indikator mutu, salah satunya adalah presentase angka kejadian infeksi nosokomial. Akibat yang ditimbulkan jika terjadi infeksi yaitu lama hari rawat dan biaya perawatan menjadi bertambah sampai kematian. Tahun 1997 CDC (Center For Desease Control) melaporkan ada 52 kasus petugas kesehatan menderita HIV akibat tertusuk jarum saat menangani pasien yang teridentifikasi HIV, sedangkan 114 orang petugas lain di duga terinfeksi. Laporan ICN (2005) bahwa estimasi sekitar 19- 35% semua kematian pegawai kesehatan pemerintah di Afrika di sebabkan oleh tertusuk jarum dari penderita HIV/AIDS. Sedangkan di Indonesia data ini belum terlaporkan. Perawat mempunyai andil yang paling besar untuk tertular akibat terpapar cairan dan tertusuk jarum, sehingga berkembang upaya untuk mencegah terinfeksi dari paparan HIV melalui kepatuhan perawat dalam penerapan kewaspadaan standar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi hubungan fungsi pengorganisasian dengan pelaksanaan kewaspadaan standar oleh perawat pelaksana. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Batu Sangkar, pada tanggal 16 Juni sampai 4 Juli 2014 dengan jumlah sample 36 orang Desain penelitian cross sectional. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan adanya hubungan antara fungsi pengorganisasian (kepemimpinan, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana) dengan penerapan kewaspadaan standar oleh perawat pelaksana yaitu p value < 0,05 serta faktor yang dominan adalah ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana (OR = 21.207). Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada pihak rumah sakit khususnya bidang keperawatan untuk memperhatikan sarana dan pra sarana, khususnya ketersediaan alat pelindung diri, pengelolaan limbah medis dan non medis.Kata Kunci : Kewaspadaan Standar, Fungsi Pengorganisasian, Perawat PelaksanaABSTRACTHospital health care facilities have quality indicators, one of which is the percentage of the incidence of nosocomial infections. Nurses have the greatest contribution from exposure to infected fluids and needles, so that it develops an attempt to prevent the infection from exposure to HIV through compliance of nurses in the application of standard precautions. The purpose of this study is to identify the function of organizing relations with the implementation of standard precautions by nurses. This research was conducted at the Hospital stone cage, on June 16 to July 4, 2014 with a sample size 36 cross-sectional study design. Data was collected using questionnaires and observation. The results of this study found an association between organizational functions (leadership, availability of facilities and infrastructure) with the application of standard precautions by nurses that p value <0.05 and the dominant factor is the availability of facilities (OR = 21 207). The results of this study recommend to the hospital, especially the field of nursing to care facilities and pre means, particularly the availability of personal protective equipment, management of medical and non-medical waste.
