Abstract

Background: Burnout is a matter of nursing resources that consists of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal acchomplishment. The previous survey results are burnout is a Global and Indonesia issues. This study aims to determine the difference of burnout to nurses at X government hospital and private hospital Y in Jambi Province. Method: This research type is quantitative with comparative cross sectional design. The sample was taken proportionally random sampling at 190 nurses.Results: This study shows nurses in government hospitals X 48.4% experienced high emotional exhaustion, 49.5% experienced high depersonalization, 57.9% high personal acchomplishment, whereas nurses in private hospitals Y 40.0% high emotional exhaustion, 40.0% experienced high depersonalization, 36.8% personal acchomplishment. Mann Whitney U Test results showed no significant differences between emotional exhaustion and depersonalization between nurses in hospital X and Y private hospitals, but the dimensions of personal acchomplisment significant differences. Conclusions: There were no significant differences, emotional exhaution, depersonalization on nurses at X government hospitals and private Y hospitals in Jambi Province, there was a significant difference in personal acchomplishment in X goverment hospital and privateY hospital.

Abstract

Abstract Breast cancer cause various psychological symptoms as a result of changes in body shape, uncertainty about the future, and the impact of recurrence of breast cancer treatment. As a result, many patients don’t adhere to treatment. Negative self-concept is a response that is maladaptive adjustment. According to WHO the incidence increased every year, 6.25 million people in 2002. The aim of research to describe the concept of self-breast cancer patients at the Clinic Surgical Hospital Dr M Djamil Padang 2013. This research is descriptive, at the Polyclinic Hospital Surgery Dr. M Djamil Padang. Population is all of breast cancer patients who visited the Polyclinic Surgery amounted to 234 people. Accidental sampling as many as 49 people. Data were collected in July 2013 using a questionnaire and analyzed by univariate. Results of the study the majority (57.1%) of respondents have a positive body image. Most (57.1%) of respondents have a negative self ideal. General (75.5%) of respondents have a negative self-esteem. Most (53.1%) of respondents have a negative self-identity and most (51%) of respondents have a negative self role. Surgery Clinic nurses are expected to be able to conduct assessments of physiological stressors, self-concept in patients with breast cancer by providing health education and motivate patients to seek treatment until complete. As well as the need for cognitive therapy given by a nurse specialist mental patients with breast cancer to improve their quality of life. Keyword        : cancer, breast cancer, self-concept ABSTRAK Kanker payudara menimbulkan berbagai macam gejala psikologis sebagai akibat perubahan bentuk tubuh, ketidakpastian tentang masa depan, kekambuhan serta dampak pengobatan kanker payudara. Akibatnya banyak pasien yang tidak patuh terhadap pengobatannya. Konsep diri yang negatif merupakan respon penyesuaian yang maladaptif. Menurut WHO setiap tahun kejadiannya meningkat, 6,25 juta orang pada tahun 2002. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran konsep diri pasien kanker payudara di Poliklinik Bedah RSUP Dr M Djamil Padang pada tahun 2013. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, di Poliklinik Bedah RSUP Dr. M Djamil Padang. Populasi adalah semua pasien kanker payudara yang berkunjung ke Poliklinik Bedah berjumlah 234 orang. Pengambilan sampel secara Accidental Sampling sejumlah 49 orang. Data dikumpulkan pada Juli 2013 menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis secara univariat. Hasil dari penelitian sebagian besar (57,1%) responden memiliki citra tubuh positif. Sebagian besar (57,1%) responden memiliki ideal diri negatif. Umumnya (75,5%) responden memiliki harga diri negatif. Sebagian besar (53,1%) responden memiliki identitas diri negative dan sebagian besar (51%) responden memiliki peran diri negatif. Diharapkan perawat Poliklinik Bedah dapat melakukan pengkajian stresor fisiologis, konsep diri pada pasien kanker payudara dengan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan dan memotivasi pasien untuk berobat sampai tuntas. Serta perlunya diberikan terapi kognitif oleh perawat spesialis jiwa bagi pasien dengan kanker payudara untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya. Kata kunci   : kanker, kanker payudara, konsep diri

Abstract

Rendahnya kualitas pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan disebabkan oleh berbagai factor seperti faktor internal yang terdiri dari umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan dan masa kerja serta faktor eksternal yang terdiri dari pengetahuan, beban kerja dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang berhubungan dengan kualitas dan kelengkapan dokumentasi keperawatan di Puskesmas Kota Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proportional random sampling dengan jumlah sampel adalah 152 orang perawat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan distribusi pengetahuan perawat sebagian besar tinggi yaitu sebanyak 91 orang (59,9%), beban kerja perawat sebagian besar rendah yaitu sebanyak 87 orang (57,2%) dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi perawat sebagian besar tidak mampu yaitu sebanyak 90 orang (59,2%). Hasil uji statistik chi square ada hubungan umur, pendidikan, masa kerja, pengetahuan, beban kerja dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dengan kualitas dan kelengkapan dokumentasi keperawatan (p Value < ?=0,05). Variabel pemanfaatan teknologi informasi memiliki nilai odd ratio = 6,543 dan 12,68 yang merupakan odd ratio terbesar dalam pemodelan sehingga menjadi variabel paling dominan yang berhubungan dengan kualitas dan kelengkapan dokumentasi keperawatan.    Kata kunci: dokumentasi keperawatan, kualitas, kelengkapan   FACTORS RELATED TO THE QUALITY AND COMPLETENESS OF NURSING DOCUMENTATION   ABSTRACT The low quality of nursing care documentation is caused by various factors such as internal factors which consist of age, sex, education, length of work and external factors which consist of knowledge, workload and utilization of information technology. The purpose of this study was to identify factors related to the quality and completeness of nursing documentation in the Health Center, Pekanbaru City. This is quantitative research with cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling with a sample of 152 nurses. The results showed that the distribution of nurses' knowledge was mostly high as many as 91 people (59.9%), the workload of nurses was mostly low at 87 people (57.2%) and the utilization of information technology for nurses was mostly inadequate namely as many as 90 people ( 59.2%). The chi square statistical test results have a relationship between age, education, years of service, knowledge, workload and utilization of information technology with the quality and completeness of nursing documentation (p Value <? = 0.05). The variable information technology utilization has an odd ratio = 6.543 and 12.68 which is the largest odd ratio in modeling so that it becomes the most dominant variable associated with the quality and completeness of nursing documentation.   Keywords: nursing documentation, quality, completeness

Abstract

Violent behavior is a negative act that is often accepted by children both on the emotional, verbal and physical aspects. Indonesia ranks third after Japan and America with pretensions above 60%. Increasing the level of violence in West Sumatra in school-age children every year more 40%, the highest city is Padang, Payakumbuh and Solok. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of STAD on Prevention of Violence Behavior in Children in Solok City Elementary School in 2017. The research design was Quasi experiment with pre testpost test with control group, total sample (N = 62) control and 31 intervention groups. Paired Sample T test results obtained p (0,000) before and after good action in the control group and intervention group. To see the difference between control and intervention groups using the Independent Sample T test for peer support 0,049, t value 2.013, knowledge p 0.000, t value 5,9281, attitude p 0,033, t value 1,335 and effort face hardness p value 0,038, value t 0.254, which means there is an influence between the control group and the intervention. Abstract

       The hospital is one of the health service institutions involved in various activities so it is easy to happen. One of the Nurses' health workers is the most health resource in the hospital that receives a negative relationship. Negative behavior faced by nurses can cause problems for the hospital. The purpose of this study was to analyze the negative behavior received by nurses in Batam city hospitals. This type of research is quantitative research with cross-sectional design. The number of samples in this study were 359 nurses distributed in several hospitals in the city of Batam. The results showed several types of negative interactions received by nurses in the workplace (71.3%) and intimidation (28.7%). The results showed there was a relationship that illustrates the work stress with the negative received by nurses (p value <α = 0.05). How can the hospital make policies related to this policy? What to do?

Abstract

Documentation of nursing care is one indicator of the quality of nursing services at the hospital. Documentation of nursing care at Indrasari Rengat Hospital 40% still does not meet the standards, both in completeness standards, implementation standards and relevance standards. The low achievement in documenting nursing care is due to the supervision factor, where supervision is carried out at Indrasari Rengat Regional Hospital is still not optimal, there is no feedback from the head of the room for documentation of nursing care. In this study, researchers applied group model clinical supervision at Indrasari Rengat Regional Hospital, with the aim of seeing the effectiveness of clinical model group supervision of nursing care documentation. This research was carried out from 20 January to 10 August 2015, with a quasi-experimental design, One-Group pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this study was in the form of 35 patient documents in the inpatient room with simple random sampling technique. Abstract

Patient safety is a vital matter of a hospital. Reports related to Patient Safety Incident (IKP) continue to increase from 2018 to 2019 in two hospitals namely Abdul Manap Hospital and Raden Mattaher Hospital Jambi. The research aims to analyse the impact of the 4S-based clinical supervision clinic on patient safety implementation of nurse’s practiceat the Jambi Municipal public hospital in 2019. This type of research is quasy experiment with a pre-post approach test design with control group. A sample of implementing nurses amounted to 66 people. Sampling with proportional random sampling. There is a significant influence on the clinical 4S-based clinica lsupervision on the implementation of patient safety by the implementing nurses in the intervention group in the hospital of Raden Mattaher Jambi (0.012) and there is no influence on the application of safety of patients conducted by the implementing nurses in hospital Abdul Manap Jambi City (0.083). Hopefully, the hospital can make the 4S-based clinical supervision to be a routine activity that by making careful planning about the supervision activities performed so that supervision can work to objectives that have been determined.

Abstract

Conflict is an interaction process that results from a mismatch, disagreement and mismatch between two or more parties. There were 52 cases of conflict in the H. Hanafie Hospital that occurred between nurses in the inpatient room with various triggers, such as differences in income, misunderstandings, feeling less valued, feeling lack of tolerance and indiscipline. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of empathy therapy on the conflict management abilities of nurses in RSUD H. Hanafie Muara Bungo. This type of research is quantitative using the research design "Quasy Experimental Pre-Post Test With Control Group. The population in this study were all nurses in the inpatient room of the Hanafie Muara Bungo Regional Hospital with a total of 129 people. The sample of implementing nurses was 34 respondents. Sampling with simple random sampling. The results of the study there was a significant effect of the implementation of empathy therapy on knowledge (p = 0.002), attitude (p = 0.004) and skills (p = 0.008). It is hoped that the nurses will both avoid conflict, be willing to pay attention to the opinions and interests of others and resolve conflicts without harming other parties.

Abstract

Professional nurse competence is measured through a competency test conducted by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti, 2015). The evaluation results obtained show that from year to year the graduation rate fluctuates. In 2016 the graduation rate was 53.46%, in 2017 the graduation rate was 50.58%, in 2018 the graduation rate was 50.38% and in 2019 the graduation rate for ukom was 64.6% (Kemenristek Dikti, 2019). The data above shows that the national pass rate for the nurse competency test still needs to be improved. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the One Minute Preceptor (OMP) guidance method on the competency of the stage of Child Nursing and Maternity Nursing in Nursing Profession Students at Dehasen University, Bengkulu City. This type of research is the type of this research is quantitative with a quasi experimental design post test only design. The sample in this research was 30 students. Sampling with total sampling. The mean post-test scores for knowledge, attitudes, skills and cumulative preceptors were higher than the pre-test scores. The average achievement of the communication scores, skills and professional behavior of the students in the maternity nursing stage was higher than that of the children in the nursing stage. There are differences in the achievement of student competencies (communication, skills and professional behavior) between the stage of child nursing and maternity nursing after the intervention of the One Minute Preceptor (OMP) guidance method on the preceptor. It is expected that the preceptor can apply the One Minute Preceptor (OMP) guidance method to every student who is carrying out his practice.

Abstract

Hospital service quality is an assessment of services obtained from patients with cost-efficient and results from the organization's organizational performance. Free market competition requires us to improve quality in all fields, especially in health services to be recognized internationally, the phenomenon of people prefering to seek treatment abroad is a big challenge in improving the quality of hospital services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of Teaching with the services quality in Padang City Islamic hospitals. The study design used was descriptive correlation with cross sectional design. The sample of this study were 325 inpatients. The results of this study prove that there is a relationship between teaching and service quality in Padang City Islamic hospitals (P = 0.006). This study recommends hospitals to increase the active role of nurses in improving service quality with the COPA model approach, which is teaching that can be applied in hospitals.
