Abstract

Students with intellectual disability require specialized learning that can improve a natural science outcomes by using Neighborhood Nature Exploration approce. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of natural surrounding exploration approach towards Learning outcomes of natural sciences for students with intellectual disability. The research design is Pre experimental of one group pretest-posttest design. Subjects of this study were 8 students with intellectual disability in the grade II. The collection of data was by providing pretest, treatment and post-test. The data analysis used was ladder - Wilcoxon signed. Hypothesis test results showed that the value Tcount  (36) > Ttable (6), then Ho is rejected. The conclusion was that there are significant effect of natural surrounding exploration approach towards Learning outcomes of natural sciences for students with intellectual disability.Siswa tunagrahita memerlukan pembelajaran khusus yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dengan menggunakan pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar terhadap hasil belajar IPA bagi siswa tunagrahita. Kajian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian Pre experimental design dengan bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek kajian ini adalah 8 siswa tungrahita kelas II. Pengumpulan data dengan memberikan pretest, treatment dan post test. Analisis data menggunakan uji jenjang – bertanda Wilcoxon. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai Thitung  (36) > Ttabel (6), maka Ho ditolak. Kesimpulannya adalah terdapat pengaruh pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa tunagrahita.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop instruction book of archipelago cake making for students with hearing impairment. The research adapted the Sugiyono (2011) model which consists of 7 stages: (1) potential problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) validation of the design, (5) design revisions, (6) product testing, and (7) the revision of the product. The results of matter experts was 97%, media experts was 92%, and practitioners (teachers) was 98%. The individual experimental result was 90% for student I, 95% for student II, and 80% for student III. The result of field experimental from the evaluation to the students were 82,66 in average scoring. The research result showed that the instruction book about archipelago cake making in study of cook and food preparation for students with hearing impairment in state SMPLB was proper and effective.

Abstract

This study aimed at finding a way out of the problem of interest of intellectual disability studentsto follow the rhythmic gymnastics events and the inability of intellectual disability students do a series of gymnastics rhythmic video media. This research was conducted in SDLB Kedungkandang Malang, this researsh was including Dick & Carey research and development. Results of this study was to measure the validity of product of rhythmic gymnastics video media to be used as a medium of learning adaptive physical education. The results of this research showed that the level of validity from the material expert gained 92%, the media experts gained94%, practitioners obtained 92%, and small group test gained the average value 88% with qualification very feasible to be used.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan jalan keluar dari permasalahan kurangya minat belajar siswa tunagrahita mengikuti kegiatan senam ritmik dan ketidakmampuan siswa tunagrahita melakukan rangkaian senam ritmik dengan mengembangkan video senam ritmik dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani adaptif pada siswa tunagrahita yang dilaksanakan di SDLB Negeri Kedungkandang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan Dick & Carey. Hasil penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat validitas produk media pembelajaran berupa video senam ritmik untuk digunakan sebagai media dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani adaptif. Hasil pengembangan menunjukan tingkat validitas yakni, ahli materi mendapat 92%, ahli media memperoleh 94%, praktisi memperoleh 92%, dan uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88% dengan kriteria sangat layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe of (1) the utilization of tooth doll medium to improve self-development of mentally disabled students, and (2) the improvement of students’ self-development capability by using tooth doll medium for mentally disabled. This research uses classroom action research (CAR). The result showed that (1) the utilization of tooth doll medium make students play an active role in learning. (2) the utilization of tooth doll medium enabled to improve the first graders’ self-development capability. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan (1) pemanfaatan media boneka gigi untuk meningkatkan bina diri siswa tunagrahita, dan (2) peningkatan kemampuan praktik bina diri dengan menggunakan media boneka gigi untuk siswa tunagrahita. Penelitian ini mnenggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) pemanfaatan media boneka gigi membuat siswa berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran, (2) pemanfaatan media boneka gigi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan praktik bina diri siswa tunagrahita kelas I.

Abstract

An intellectual disability is a condition in which intelligence is below average. If it is used a conventional learning in the mathematic lesson, it make the students with intellectual disability difficult in understanding. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcome in mathematics. The design of this study was Class Action Research (PTK) with two cycles. The subject of the study was five students of eighth grade in SMPLB Negeri Kedungkandang. The results showed that in the first cycle the average score increased to 62.51 %. In the second cycle, the students’ average score was 87,19%. The conclusion is by using snowball throwing model, there was an increase of learning outcomes on pre-action, the first cycle and the second cycleTunagrahita merupakan suatu kondisi di mana intelegensinya berada di bawah rata-rata. Jika pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, maka akan membuat siswa tunagrahita kesulitan dalam memahaminya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain PTK. Dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus. Subyek penelitiannya adalah 5 siswa kelas VIII di SMPLB Negeri Kedungkandang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan rata-rata nilai siswa 62,51% dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 87,19%. Kesimpulannya yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran snowball throwing, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar antara pratindakan, siklus I, dan siklus II.

Abstract

Teachers have obstacles in teaching because it has not had the teaching materials appropriate to the characteristics and needs of students. Characteristics of mild mental retardation students are capable learners, the ability to think concretely and hard thinking, not capable of storing instructions difficult, using simple words and easy to understand, then it requires teachers to develop teaching materials that are innovative, creative, interesting, and contextual. Development of organic vegetable packaging guidebook is intended to produce a product of teaching materials that can assist students in learning activities. This research method is the Research and Development (R & D). The results of this study indicate that the guidebook is valid based on the acquisition scores of the experts are experts teaching materials, materials experts, and prospective users number 84, and effectively used for students with mild mental retardation acquisition score of 85.125%.Guru memiliki hambatan dalam mengajar karena belum memiliki bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa. Karakteristik siswa tunagrahita ringan yang mampu didik, kemampuan berfikir kongkrit dan sukar berfikir, tidak mampu menyimpan instruksi sulit, menggunakan kata sederhana dan mudah dipahami, maka hal tersebut mengharuskan guru untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar yang inovatif, kreatif, menarik, dan kontekstual. Pengembangan buku panduan pengemasan sayur organik ini bertujuan menghasilkan suatu produk bahan ajar yang dapat membantu siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan tersebut valid berdasarkan perolehan skor dari para ahli yaitu ahli bahan ajar, ahli materi, dan calon pengguna sejumlah 84, serta efektif digunakan bagi siswa tunagrahita ringan dengan perolehan skor 85,125%.

Abstract

Autistic children tend to experience digestive disorders. Therefore, autistic children must take diet therapy. This research used qualitative method. The results showed that (1) Implementation of diet therapy: preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. (2) Obstacles in the implementation of diet therapy: autistic students themselves, parents, and the difficulty of getting certain food. (3) Impact of diet therapy: students are more silent and can sit quietly during the implementation of ABA therapy. The implementation of diet therapy for autistic students will have a good impact if applied correctly. Suggestions in this research, do not let a diet leak even if only once.

Abstract

Intellectual disability children who have the below intelligence average hamper their academic intelligence such as numeracy learning especially adding and subtracting. Children with intellectual disability in SLB experience difficulty to do adding and subtracting operation. The role playe method require the students to be active in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of addition and subtraction of the intellectual disability students before and after using the role playe method. The research is Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pre-test Post-test Form. The instruments are written and oral test for pre-test and post-test. The analysis technique used is Wilcoxon Test with manual calculation.
