Abstract

The percentage of entrepreneurs is very small, it needs concrete efforts to grow and develop the entrepreneurial spirit in higher education which is expected to encourage students to be enthusiastic about entrepreneurship. The purpose of the Entrepreneurship Development Program (PPK) activity is to develop entrepreneurship at Mulawarman Universit. Socialization to students and until the end of the registration as many as 49 students / alumni registered. Implementation of entrepreneurship training activities via offline and online, training materials covering theory and practice as well as conducting field visits to advanced MSME entrepreneurs. Business proposal presentations were also conducted to determine the tenants who passed the selection. Business apprenticeship at an apprenticeship place that is in accordance with tenant business products, guidance and consultation are carried out periodically as well as assistance in the preparation of business proposals to be marketed through social media and E Commerce. The KDP website was created contained information on KDP activities and tenant products. Periodic guidance and consultation are also carried out through off line and on line as well as assistance in the preparation of scientific-based business proposals and product improvements to be marketed through social media and E Commerce

Abstract

Shifting cultivations (SC) who rely on their livelihood of forest resources are empowerless mainly caused by the low quality of human resources an the pressures of the forest resources utilization which covering the cultivation areas by companies. The study was aimed to formulate a model of the empowerment of SC through extension program. The respondents involved we composed of 36 extension agents and 288 shifting cultivators. Data analysis used the descriptive analysis technique such as Chi Square, Rank Spearman, and Path Analysis. The Study results showed ah: (1) factors related o empowering SC through extension that consisted of 13 variables were low; (2) applications of forestry extension in Kutai Katanegara District, East Kutai District, and West Kutai District were not able to empower the SC to realize sustainable forest; (3) the activities needed by SC are he activities, aimed to solved the SC problem, such as (a) he qualified extension about the permanent cultivation, (b) the availability of infrastructure, (c) the insurance for shifting cultivation activities, (d) the availability of specific local technology, (e) production apparatus, (f) production increase, (g) income increase, (h) market, (i) cooperation, (j) capital credit, (k) business development, (l) new business alternative; and (4) the effectively extension model hat might be able to empower the SC is the extension that became their own program and applies (a) a digging finding, and developing science and technology model, (b) interactive/convergent communication, (c) extension substances based on SC need, (d) adult learning process, and (e) community based forest management.

Abstract

The study is aimed to analyze: (a) the benefit of CSR programs in improving the community welfare  of  local community; (b) the matching between CSR  programs  with  the real needs of local community; and c)  the matching of the CSR programs with government development program and  the effectiveness of government role of  implementing the  CSR programs. The study used 325 respondents for survey and 15 participants in FGD. Data analysis used the descriptive qualitative, syllogistic, and data comparative. The results of this study showed that: (a) the CSR programs could  improved  the welfare of  local community, (b) the CSR  programs have matched  with  the community real needs  in educational, socio-cultural, and infrastructure aspect. However, they do not  match the agriculture and economy and (c)  the  Kukar  Government is not  effective  as a  facilitator and  regulator in implementing the CSR.Keywords: CSR, community welfare, community real needs, government role.Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (a) manfaat program CSR dalam pengembangan kesejahteraan komunitas lokal; (b) kesesuaian program CSR dengan kebutuhan nyata komunitas lokal; dan (c) kesesuaian program CSR dengan program pembangunan pemerintah dan efektivitas peran pemerintah dalam pelaksanaan program CSR. Studi ini melibatkan 325 responden untuk survei dan 15 orang dalam FGD. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, silogistik, dan perbandingan data. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa: (a) program CSR dapat memperbaiki kesejahteraan komunitas lokal; (b) program CSR memiliki kesesuaian dengan kebutuhan nyata komunitas dalam aspek pendidikan, sosial budaya, dan infrastruktur, tetapi tidak ada kesesuaian dalam aspek pertanian dan ekonomi; dan (c) Pemerintah Kukar tidak efektif sebagai fasilitator dan regulator pelaksanaan CSR.Kata kunci: CSR, kesejahteraan masyarakat, kebutuhan nyata masyarakat, peran pemerintah.

Abstract

ABSTRAKBerbagai  metode terus dilakukan dan digalakkan untuk menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan semangat berwirausaha di Universitas Mulawarman sehingga mahasiswa semakin tertarik untuk berwirausaha.  Tujuan dari kegiatan Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan (PPK) ini  adalah untuk mengembangkan kewirausahaan di Universitas Mulawarman yang berorientasi dari keilmuan dan potensi lokal sehingga menghasilkan wirausaha yang handal , mandiri dan professional. Dalam pencapaian target tersebut program PPK pada tahun ke tiga  ini diawali dengan melakukan kegiatan webinar yang menghadirkan narasumber dari Bank Indonesia, dosen Universitas Mulawarman dan startup serta peserta PPK yang sudah mandiri.  Kegiatan webinar dilaksanakan juga merupakan dari proses sosialisasi PPK dan sekaligus menjaring peserta mahasiswa/alumni Universitas Mulawarman yang berminat untuk mendaftar. Sosialisasi ke fakultas juga Jurusan/program Studi dan sampai akhir pendaftaran sebanyak 55 orang mahasiswa/alumni mendaftar dari berbagai fakultas di Universitas Mulawarman Seleksi  tenant dilakukan  secara transparan dengan  wawancara melalui video call. Penetapan calon tenant sejumlah dua puluh orang yang lolos seleksi dari berbagai fakultas. Pelaksanaan  pelatihan kewirausahaan melalui offline/online teori dan praktek. Kunjungan lapang dilakukan ke wirausaha UMKM yang sudah maju, pendampingan secara kontiniu dan magang wirausaha  Dilakukan juga presentasi proposal bisnis untuk mengetahui sampai sejauh mana peserta PPK mampu menyusun proposal bisnis. Kata kunci: magang; pelatihan; pendampingan; PPK; universitas mulawarman ABSTRACTVarious methods continue to be carried out and are encouraged to grow and develop the spirit of entrepreneurship at Mulawarman University so that students are increasingly interested in entrepreneurship. The purpose of this Entrepreneurship Development Program (PPK) activity is to develop entrepreneurship at Mulawarman University which is oriented from local knowledge and potential so as to produce reliable, independent and professional entrepreneurs. In achieving this target, the PPK program in its third year was initiated by conducting a webinar that presented resource persons from Bank Indonesia, Mulawarman University lecturers and startups as well as independent PPK participants. The webinar activity carried out is also part of the PPK socialization process and at the same time attracts Mulawarman University student/alumni participants who are interested in registering. Socialization to faculties as well as Departments/Study programs and until the end of registration as many as 55 students/alumni enrolled from various faculties at Mulawarman University. Tenant selection is carried out transparently by interview via video call. Determination of prospective tenants as many as twenty people who passed the selection from various faculties. Implementation of entrepreneurship training through offline/online theory and practice. Field visits were conducted to advanced MSME entrepreneurs, continuous mentoring and entrepreneurial internships. Abstract

Many efforts have been made to increase entrepreneurship mental in higher education level so that students are interested to be entrepreneurs. This need to be done since the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia is still limited. The Objective of this Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) was that to develop entrepreneurship at Mulawarman University which focused on local based content. This was done in order to bear professional, independent, and reliable entrepreneurs. To achieve the goals, this EDP socialized its program to all Faculties and Departments before conducting tenant open recruitment. Next, the selected tenants got training from experts. The training activities covered basic knowledge and practice of entrepreneurship and field trip to some local industries, which were considered to be successful. Afterward, the trainers were allowed to join internship program. In this program, trainers got expert assistance to help them to construct entrepreneurship proposal which was related to their field of study. When these targeted tenant had successfully run their small businesses professionally and independently, the new tenant were recruited in the next following year. By doing so, the cycles of entrepreneurship in Mulawarman University would continue to generate.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the prevention of juvenile delinquency by the Department of Social Welfare in handling cases in Samarinda City. This type of qualitative descriptive research focuses on the empowerment and obstacles faced by the Office of Social Welfare. This research has been carried out from October to January 2022. The primary data sources are the head of the service, the head of the rehabilitation section for children and the elderly, social workers and counseling. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through reduction, display and conclusion. The validity of the data using data triangulation. The results of the study, adolescent empowerment will have implications in developing the mindset of youth independence so that they have the ability to work and gain experience. Barriers: on the financial aspect, human resources, shelter, the role of parents and public awareness. The practical implication is that this research can be piloted in a youth development social home in handling delinquency cases delegated from the Samarinda Class II Child Special Guidance Institute in Tenggarong.

Abstract

This research attempts to obtain information about the participation of teachers history in infuse of nationalism on student X in senior high school 14 Samarinda. The results show that participations of teachers history in imparting flavor nationalism to their students class x in senior high school 14 Samarinda is participation of teachers history in imparting flavor nationalism students are teachers as examples, teachers as inspiratory, teachers as a motivator, and teachers as an evaluator. History teacher found obstacles to imparting flavor nationalism to their students are background students is different, development of technology had an impact on thinking pattern students, the influence of the mass media, and facilities schools that had not yet fully sufficient in supporting teaching history.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the leadership strategy of two school principals, 2) school achievement, and 3) efforts to improve school achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. It used snowball sampling. The study was conducted at State Senior High School 1 (SHS) and Catholic High School (CHS). Key informants consisted of 1 principal, one vice principal, three teachers, three education staff, three students, and three parents from each school for in-depth interviews. Data collection techniques were also carried out through observation and documentation studies. The results showed that: 1) in SHS the relationship-oriented leadership pattern stood out, while in the CHS the task-oriented leadership pattern was more prominent, (2) the achievement of both high schools was above the national average; and 3) The Head of SHS forms a learning group based on interests and talents, while CHS forms an innovative virtual achievement group. The results of this study are helpful for school principals as a reference in implementing effective leadership patterns to improve school achievement. The taxonomy of leadership patterns (entrepreneurial, bureaucratic, political, and professional) can be applied to improve school achievement, although there is a different emphasis between the two schools
