Science and technology education get a lot of criticism, because in fact  what is learned in school can not help the realization of the purpose of idial education  to prepare the next generation in global life demands. In the other aspect, education was praised as the foundation of the future of the nation,  in the development of human character and master the knowledge and skills in science and technology. Science education should be pursued to give a solution to the challenges education: being able to create a generation that can act as innovators in science and technology, bringing together (attitudes, processes, products, applications) in learning, prepare human resources in science and technology, conscious and uphold nasionalisme value. Science and technology education should be developed in a transformative education function, based on quality education, integrated curriculum, and the learning model that empowers potential wholeness.
