Abstract

The outbreak of COVID-19 has brought the disrupt change to education activities; from face to face to distance learning. In large-scale e-learning implementations, both teachers and students face an overload of subject material, making it difficult to adjust to the online context. This qualitative research investigated the students’ perception of e-learning implementation from the perspective of translation-course participants. The perception reflected the student challenges that categorized as adaptability to e-learning environment; technical availability and computer literacy; time-management, learning engagement; and self-effort and readiness. A semi structured-questionnaire Google Form that consisted of 19 items was developed to collect the students' perceptions and opinions. The questionnaire distributed and collected online. The data was tabulated, presented, and analyzed statistically. The perception of students on e-learning revealed the importance of improvement on technical support for learning instruction and material presentation, as well as students’ self-discipline on learning schedule. The finding of this study was feedback for authors to provide effective teaching by consideration to student's challenges in the e-learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which profit (X1), cash flow (X2) and liquidity (X3) affect financial distress (Y). This research was conducted on LQ45 companies listed on the Stock Exchange with 45 members of the population and obtained 31 samples with the observation year 2015, 2016, 2017 so that 93 samples were obtained using secondary data.This study uses a logistic regression model. To collect data used observation and documentation methods, processing data using SPSS 23.The results showed that earnings (X1) and cash flow (X2) did not affect financial distress (Y), while liquidity (X3) had an effect on financial distress (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, and activity ratios to the profitability of transportation subsector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period. The data collection method used is the purposive sampling method. This research is a quantitative study. In this study, the population is the transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period. Based on the predetermined criteria, 9 companies were obtained. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis through the F test and t-test to know the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Partially, the current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), does not affect profitability, while total assets turnover (tattoo) does not affect profitability. but simultaneously: Current ratio (CR), Debt to equity ratio (DER), and Total assets turn over (TATO) have a significant influence on the company's profitability. Keywords : Current ratio, debt to equity ratio, total assets turn over, and profitability

Abstract

Compensation is everything received by employees as remuneration for their work. Discipline is an attitude of willingness to work and one's willingness to adhere to and comply with regulatory norms prevailing around it. Based on these descriptions, the formulation of the problem in this research is how the influence of compensation and working discipline to employee performance at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Medan. The theory used in this research is the theory of human resource management-related compensation, discipline of work and employee performance therein including the understanding, the importance, the factors that affect the benefits and objectives and indicators that affect the variable compensation, work discipline and the performance of employees.The research method that I use in this study is a quantitative or qualitative. This type of research is descriptive quantitative nature of the research is associative, data collection methods used were interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. The population in the study of more than 200 employees and a sample obtained by using the formula slovin amounted to 67 employees. Data processing using software SPSS 23. Data analysis technique that used were multiple linear regression, test the coefficient of determination (R2), partial test (t test), simultaneous test (F test).The results obtained by the regression equation Y = 0.910 + 0.747 X1 + 0.259 X2 so that the compensation and discipline can improve employee performance. Results obtained determination coefficient R value (R-Square) of 0.508, or 50.8%, this indicates that compensation and disciplinary effect on the performance of employees amounted to 50.8%, the rest is influenced by other variables not examined by the author. F test results obtained F count> F table (33.001> 3.14), it can be concluded that the compensation and working discipline simultaneously affect the performance of employees. T test results obtained for compensation tcount> t table (8.063> 1.99) This means that the hypothesis is rejected. It can be concluded that the compensation partially affect performance, and the t test results obtained for the work discipline tcount> t table (2.304> 1.99) This means that the hypothesis is rejected. So we can conclude that the discipline of work partially affect the performance.He conclusion of this study is that there is the influence of compensation and working discipline to employee performance, either simultaneously or partially on PT. Abstract

Training is an activity to improve a person's ability to work. Motivation termed as encouragement. Training and good motivation is a supporting factor to achieve productivity. Based on these descriptions, the formulation of the problem in this research is how the relationship between the training and motivation to work productivity of employees at PT. Platina Mulia Abadi Medan. The theory used in this research is the theory of human resource management related about the training, motivation, and employee productivity therein including the understanding, the importance, the factors that affect the benefits and objectives and indicators - indicators that affect the variables of training, motivation and employee productivity. The research method that I use in this study is a quantitative or qualitative. This type of research is descriptive quantitative nature of the research is associative, data collection methods used, questionnaires, study of documentation, interviews, and observations. The population in the study were 110 employees, and a sample obtained by using the formula slovin amounted to 52 employees. Data processing using software SPSS 23. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, test the coefficient of determination (R2), partial test (t test), simultaneous test (F test). The results obtained by the formulation of regression Y = 22.943 + 0.582 X1 + 0.032 X2, so that the variable training and motivation can improve employee productivity. Results obtained determination coefficient R value (R-square) of 0.210 or 21%, this indicates that the training and motivation related to the employee's productivity by 21% is influenced by other variables not examined by the author. F test results obtained Fcount > Ftable (6.529 > 3.18), it can be concluded that the training and motivation simultaneously or jointly related to work productivity. T test results obtained to training tcount > ttable (3.546 > 1.67), it can be concluded training variable partially related to work productivity of employees at PT. Platina Mulia Abadi Medan, and the t test results obtained for motivation tcount < ttable (0.267 < 1.67), it can be concluded partial motivation variable is not related to work productivity of employees at PT. Platina Mulia Abadi Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris tentang pengaruh Price Earning Ratio, Earning Per Share, Debt to Equity Ratio terhadap harga saham. Variabel indenpenden yang digunakan adalah Price Earning Ratio, Earning Per Share, Debt to Equity Ratio. Variabel dependen yang digunakan adalah Harga saham.Populasi dalam penelitian adalah perusahaan otomotif yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia (BEI) pada periode 2016-2019. Sampel yang dikumpulkan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Total 9 perusahaan ditentukan sebagai sampel. Metode analisis penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Price Earning Ratio, Earning PerShare, Debt to Equity Ratio berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan hutang. Sementara itu, Debt to Equity Ratio tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan hutang. Hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukan sebesar 67,2%. Abstract

In this study describes one of the Different Strategies on the Results of the Study of Mathematics Operations of Whole Numbers. The method used in this research is quasi-experiment method. The analysis technique in this study used a t-test to assess the hypothesis. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test, the t-count value is 0.6071 then consulted to the t-table at a significant level of 0.05 and 35 degrees of freedom, the t-table value is 1.6896. Because tcount < ttable (0.6071 < 1.6896), then H0 is accepted, so there is no difference in math learning outcomes in Different Strategies using the traditional algorithm. Thus learning with Different Strategies has no effect.

Abstract

This research deals with four variables, namely system quality, service quality, information quality and user satisfaction. The aim of this research was to know whether there was an effect of system quality, service quality and information quality to SAKTI user satisfaction. The sample of this research was 83 staff at KPPN North Sumatra who used SAKTI. The research data was analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis which was calculated by SPSS 2.2. From the data analysis, it was found that the implementation of SAKTI applications has been empirically successful. Based on four proposed hypotheses, all of them are proven and accepted. The service system affected the highest value. It also showed that there was a positive effect of system quality, service quality and information quality to SAKTI user satisfaction. to sum up,
