Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to examine society's expectations and challenges in the field of education is still facing solutions as well as explain some of the steps that can be done to respond to the expectations and challenges. To obtain the data or information is needed, the method used in this study literature (library research), in the form of literature references education experts. From the results of the study, it was concluded that some people's expectations in the areas of education among the wanted educational equity, the National Examination (UN) is not an absolute requirement of graduation, and the desire for education policy has a clear direction. And one of the challenges in the education of the existence of discrimination in education.Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji harapan-harapan masyarakat dan tantangan dalam bidang pendidikan yang sampai saat ini masih dihadapi sekaligus memaparkan beberapa langkah solusi yang dapat dilakukan guna menjawab harapan dan tantangan tersebut. Untuk memperoleh data atau informasi yang dibutuhkan, dalam kajian ini digunakan metode kepustakaan (library research), yaitu berupa rujukan-rujukan literatur pakar pendidikan. Dari hasil kajian, disimpulkan bahwa beberapa harapan masyarakat dalam bidang pendidikan di antaranya yaitu menginginkan pemerataan pendidikan, Ujian Nasional (UN) bukan syarat mutlak kelulusan, dan keinginan agar kebijakan pendidikan mempunyai arah yang jelas. Salah satu tantangan dalam pendidikan yaitu adanya diskriminasi dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Beberapa solusi peninjauan kembali kebijakan pemerintah, penambahan pagu anggaran, pembentukan karakter, profesionalisme guru, sarana dan prasarana, dan pendidikan berbasis masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of study is to determine whether there is a positive and significant effect of humanistic approach on learning motivation of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Tarutung during Covid-19 pandemic. This research is quantitative descriptive by using descriptive statistic method. The population is 143 students of class XI and the sample of 25%, namely 36 students were taken randomly. A closed questionnaire was used as the instrument for the data collection. The data processing and analysis techniques used simple linear regression method with t-test. The regression equation was Y = 2.5 + 0.21 X + e. The value of X was positive value, it indicated that the better humanistic approach is applied, the more student motivation will be. Based on the data analysis, it was known that the significance value of the humanistic approach variable was 0.047. The results show that the significance value (0.047) is smaller than the value of 0.050 (α). Therefore, it is concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that the humanistic approach has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning motivation. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pendekatan humanistik oleh guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Tarutung pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitianini deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif. Populasi 143 siswa kelas XI  dan sampel 25 % yaitu 36 orang diambil secara random.Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket tertutup. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana dengan uji-t. Persamaan regresi yaitu Y = 2,5 + 0,21 X + e. Nilai X adalah nilai positif, ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik pendekatan humanistik dilakukanguru akan mengakibatkan motivasi belajar siswa semakin meningkat.Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi variabel pendekatan humanistik oleh guru adalah sebesar 0,047. Karena nilai signifikansi 0,047 lebih kecil daripada nilai 0,050 (α) maka disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Ini berarti bahwa pendekatan humanistik oleh guru mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The root of the problem in this study is the fact that student learning achievement is less satisfying, and learning that has occurred so far does not involve emotional intelligence. The problem in this study is "how is the process and results of developing a learning model that involves the emotional quotien of qualified lecturers and students?" The purpose of this study is to obtain a quality learning model (valid, effective and practical) through a development process. The development phases used are: the initial investigation phase, the development phase, the realization phase and the testing, evaluation and revision phase. In Trial I (subject 35 people), the learning model was not effective, not yet practical even though it was valid, so it was revised. After the learning model was revised, another trial II was conducted. In Trial II (subject 38 people), the learning model was still not effective and practical so it was revised again. After the learning model was revised, trial III was conducted. In Trial III (bubject 38 people), a quality learning model was obtained with syntax: (1) emotional apperception, (2) construction of knowledge, (3) independent practice and (4) recitation. One of the results obtained in this study is that learning using the developed learning model has an impact on the achievement of student learning completeness.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to know and describe the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) at Doloksanggul State Special School, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra Province. The method used in this study is descriptive-qualitative method. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis is carried out by data reduction and data presentation. For data validity tests are carried out by Triangulation. After conducting research at the Doloksanggul State Special School, researchers found several facts that the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) at the Doloksanggul State Special School had been implemented properly.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how much the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model has on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Lintong Nihuta, Humbang Hasundutan district, for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The population is all class IX students of SMP Negeri 3 Lintong Nihuta, Humbang Hasundutan Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 191 people and a sample of 32 people was determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 35 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Lintong Nihuta, Humbang Hasundutan district for the 2023/2024 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained with a value of rxy = 0.586 > rtable(=0.05,n=32) = 0.349, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable dk=n-2=30)= 2.042, thus there is a significant relationship between variable 60X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 34.3%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=14, dk denominator=n-2=32-2=30) namely 15.66 > 2.01 Thus Ha accepted and H0 rejected.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between teacher social competence and the learning motivation of class VIII Christian Religious Education students at SMP Satu Roof Negeri 5 Pangururan. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative research method. The population is all 102 students of VIII SMP Satu Atap Negri 5 Pangururan for the 2022/2023 academic year and a sample of 35 people was determined using a random sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 31 items, namely 20 items for variable data as follows: 1) test the positive relationship obtained by the value rxy = 0.574 > rtable(a=0.05,n=35) = 0.334, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Test the relationship The significant value obtained is tcount= 4.026 > ttable(a=0.05, dk=n-2=33)=2.042, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. So Ha says there is a relationship between teacher social competence and learning motivation Class VIII Christian Religious Education students at One Roof Middle School 5 Pangururan were accepted and H0 which said there was no relationship was rejected.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of teachers' interpersonal communication on students' interest in learning in the Christian Religious Education and Character Education subjects for class VIII, even semester of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2022/2023 academic year. The research method is quantitative with a descriptive inferential approach. The population is all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 190 people and a sample of 32 people was determined using the probability sampling method with simple random sampling type. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 32 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of teacher interpersonal communication on students' interest in learning in the subjects of Christian Religious Education and Character Education in class VIII, even semester of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2022/2023 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test The positive relationship obtained is rxy = 0.593 > rtable(a=0.05,n=32) = 0.349. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 4.037 > ttable(a=0.05,dk=n-2=30)= 2.042. 2) Test the effect: a) Test the regression equation, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="21","28"+0.58X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 35.2%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(a=0.05, dk numerator k=14, dk denominator=n-2=32-2=30) namely 16.28 > 2.01. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of using the Time Token Type Cooperative Learning Model on the Active Learning of Christian Religious Education Students in Class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Siatas Barita. The research method used is a quantitative method and this type of research is pre-experimental design in the form of "One Shot Case Study". The population is all students at SMK Negeri 1 Siatas Barita Class XI who are Protestant Christians, 422 people and a sample of 33 people was determined using the Purposive Sample technique. Data was collected using an observation sheet with 15 items for variable North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy = 0.544 > rtable(α=0.05,n=33) = 0.344. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 3.607 > ttable(α=0.05, dk=n-2=31)= 2.042. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 29.6%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(α=0.05, dk numerator k=15, dk denominator=n-2=33-2=31) namely 13.01 > 1.62. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the Mind Mapping Method on the learning motivation of class XI Christian religious education students at SMK Negeri 1 Siatas Barita. Tony Buzan's theory suggests that the Mind Mapping Method is a learning method that uses a note-taking strategy using keywords, image symbols, sounds, shapes and feelings. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method and the type of research is pre-experimental design in the form of "One Shot Case Study". The population was all class Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 30 items, namely 15 items for variable Siatas Barita: 1) Test analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy = 0.591 > rtable(=0.05,n=34) = 0.339. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of tcount= 4.140 > ttable(=0.05,dk=n-2=32)= 2.042. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 34.9%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=15, dk denominator=n-2=34-2=32) namely 17.14 > 2.01. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) to determine whether or not there is a positive and significant influence of Class Management on Christian Religious Education Learning Motivation and Ethics in students; 2) to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence on giving awards to students on Christian Religious Education Learning Motivation and Ethics on students; 3) to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence on Class Management and Giving Rewards to students together on Christian Religious Education Learning Motivation and Ethics. The method used in this study is quantitative research method. The population is all grade XI Christian students of SMA Negeri 2 Tukka, Central Tapanuli Regency, which is 78 people and 63 people were sampled using a crejcie table. Data was collected with a closed questionnaire of 65 items. The results of the data analysis showed that: a) the Fvalue of the class management table > the class management table on Christian education learning motivation and ethics was 27.110 > 3.15 thus it was known that there was an influence of class management on the learning motivation of Christian education and ethics of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Tukka Central Tapanuli Regency which was 30.8%, b) Fvalue calculated > Ftable of awards for Christian education learning motivation and ethics which was 9.246 > 3.15 with it is known that there is an influence on the awarding of Christian education learning motivation and ethics of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Tukka, Central Tapanuli Regency, which is 13.2%, c) F grades are calculated > F class management tables and giving awards to Christian education learning motivation and ethics which is 14,670 > 3.15 thus it is known that there is an influence of class management and awarding on Christian education learning motivation and student ethics Class XI of SMA Negeri 2 Tukka, Central Tapanuli Regency, which is 32.8%, thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.
