Abstract

This study examines how the construction of gender roles in the world of dance artists, particularly female choreographer. The purpose of this study is to understand and explain: (1) the construction of gender roles that took place in the work of dance by female choreographer, and (2) gender bias that occurred in the work of dance by female choreographer. Qualitative method is employed in the study which is located in Semarang city. The subjects consisted of the female dance stylist (choreographer), dancers, musicians, and audiences. Data collection techniques used included interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was done by developing case description, conducted through data reduction, categorization, and interpretation (verification/drawing conclusions). The result showed that the construction of gender roles in the process of dance works choreographed by woman happened in family and community setting. Objective reality that includes a variety of views, attitudes, behaviors, and meaning giving to the differentiation of the roles of men and women based on culture (nurture) contained in family environment plays a prominent position in role construction process among female dancer and choreographers. As for male dancers, the process of role construction went on within the setting of family and social environment of society. Gender bias that occurred in the construction of gender roles in this study is indicated by the existing presence of gender stereotype views among dancers, choreographers, audience, and dance lovers community. Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan upaya proaktif yang dilakukan oleh lembaga formal, informal, maupun nonformal. Pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi kemerosotan moral khususnya kemerosotan moral di kalangan remaja (peserta didik). Pendidikan karakter berkaitan erat dengan pendidikan di sekolah sebagai lembaga formal. Sekolah berperan penting sebagai wahana memperteguh karakter bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pendidikan karakter SDIT Al-Utsmaniyah. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif etnografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan karakter dirancang melalui program intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler sekolah. Kurikulum yang digunakan yaitu kurikulum dari Kemendiknas yang dipadukan dengan kurikulum Kemenag dan kurikulum khusus SDIT Al-Utsmaniyah. Stakeholder sekolah berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter pada peserta didik SDIT Al-Utsmaniyah. Hal ini dapat dilihat bahwa dalam menerapkan program pendidikan karakter sekolah tidak hanya melibatkan guru tetapi melibatkan seluruh yayasan, komite, tenaga kependidikan, orang tua serta masyarakat sekitar.  Kata Kunci: etnografi pendidikan, pendidikan karakter.  APLICATION OF CHARACTER VALUES THROUGH INTRACURRICULAR AND EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAMSABSTRACTCharacter education is a proactive effort by formal, informal, and non-formal institutions. It is one of the solutions to overcome moral decline especially among teenagers (students). It is closely related to education in schools as a formal institution. Schools play an important role as a vehicle to strengthen the nations character. This study aims to find and describe character education SDIT Al-Utsmaniyah. The method of this study is qualitative ethnography. The results showed that character education programs are designed through school intra-curricular and extracurricular programs. Curriculum used is the curriculum Kemendiknas combined with the curriculum Kemenag and special curriculum SDIT Al-Utsmaniyah. School stakeholders play an important role in fostering the character values of SDIT Al-Utsmaniyah students. It can be seen that in applying the character education program, schools involved not only teachers but also all foundations, committees, education personnel, parents and the surrounding community.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini ialah adanya dampak pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 tingkat pendidikan dasar pada sistem penilaian dengan model penilaian otentik. Penilaian otentik bermanfaat untuk melihat kemajuan siswa dalam belajar, namun tidak sedikit guru yang kesulitan melaksanakannya. Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk menyediakan prosedur dan instrumen penilaian otentik teknik nontes yang dapat digunakan guru dan orang tua. Data dikumpulkan melalui multimetode yakni dokumentasi, penilaian panel ahli, dan uji coba. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif desain Beebe “Wheel Model” yang dimodifikasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik umum penelitian kualitatif, sedangkan interpretasi secara analisis induktif. Penelitian terdiri dari enam instrumen rating scale yaitu: (1) sikap jujur siswa di rumah, (2) sikap jujur siswa di sekolah, (3) sikap disiplin siswa di rumah, (4) sikap disiplin siswa di sekolah, (5) sikap tanggung jawab siswa di rumah, dan (6) sikap tanggung jawab siswa di sekolah. Besar indeks rating scale sikap: (1) jujur siswa di rumah (0,942), (2) jujur siswa di sekolah (0,930), (3) disiplin siswa di rumah (0,962), (4) disiplin siswa di sekolah (0,951), (5) tanggung jawab siswa di rumah (0,945), dan (6) tanggung jawab siswa di sekolah (0,962).

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi perubahan paradigma dalam sistem penilaian pendidikan yang menggunakan model penilaian otentik. Penilaian otentik pada satu sisi bermanfaat untuk melihat perkembangan kemajuan siswa dalam belajar, namun pada sisi lain guru kesulitan untuk melaksanakannya. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan upaya penelitian yang dapat memberikan informasi yang menyeluruh dan berdampak bagi pelaksanaan penilaian otentik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian bertujuan untuk (1) menyediakan data hasil analisis tingkat pemahaman dan kemampuan guru tentang penilaian otentik; (2) menganalisis faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan penilaian otentik oleh guru; (3) menyediakan prosedur dan instrumen penilaian otentik teknik tes maupun nontes yang dapat digunakan oleh guru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan campuran kualitatif dan kuantitatif jenis survei deskriptif. Analisis dan interpretasi data dilakukan dengan teknik umum penelitian kualitatif empat tahap. Proses interpretasi setelah tahap pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan secara analisis induktif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan: 1) ketepatan guru menyusun instrumen tes dengan rata-rata 34,8% dan tidak ada yang tepat dalam penyusunan instrumen nontes, kisi-kisi instrumen tes formatif hanya memuat 39,8% dari komponen yang seharusnya, sekitar 50,8% guru mengalami kesulitan membuat soal berbasis konteks; 2) jumlah guru yang membuat kisi-kisi hanya 28,3%. Penilaian performansi pengetahuan, praktik, dan sikap belum dirumuskan ke dalam perilaku-perilaku spesifik; 3) penilaiannya juga belum memperlihatkan konteks yang diharapkan dari pengetahuan, praktik, dan sikap yang dinilai; 4) Prosedur penilaian performansi secara umum terdiri dari: a) penentuan tujuan penilaian, b) penentuan objek yang dinilai dan konteks, c) perumusan indikator, d) pembuatan rubrik, e) observasi, dan f) penskoran.

Abstract

AbstrakIbnu Katsîr di kalangan para pengkaji tafsir dan ilmu-ilmu al-Quran bukan tokoh yang asing, karena kitab tafsirnya yang bercorak bi al-ma’tsûr dipergunakan sebagai salah satu kitab induk dalam studi al-Quran dan menjadi referensi utama dalam penafsiran hukum al-Quran. Karena itulah, tafsir Ibnu Katsîr yang muncul pada abad ke tujuh hijriyah dan bermazhab Syâfi‘î sudah bergitu akrab di dunia pesantren di Indonesia, dan dijadikan rujukan penting dalam pembahasan masalah-masalah keagamaan dan kemasyarakatan (masâ’il al-diniyyah wa al-ijtimâ’iyyah). Kendatipun demikian, Tafsir Ibnu Katsîr tersebut da­lam kupasan hukum-hukumnya, tidak selamanya selaras dengan mazhab Syâfi‘î, tergantung argumentasi yang dibangunnya, sehingga ter­kadang selaras dengan pemikiran Imam al-Syâfi‘î, atau sebaliknya. Abstract

The concept of wilâyat al-faqîh from Imam Khomeini was one of the products of Islamic thought. It has revive discourse on Islamic studies in various parts of the Islamic world. It is not only become a threat to the status quo of the Muslim rulers, in fact it has been raising the academic and scholarly discussion in the forums of national, regional, and international levels. The influence of the concept of wilâyat al-faqîh from Imam Khomeini to contemporary Islamic thought in Indonesia looked on discourse about the relation between religion and state. Indeed, the debate on religion-state relations have long occurred in Indonesia, but in academic discourse becomes increasingly crowded since the concept of wilâyat al-faqîh serve as the basis for the establishment of the Islamic State of Iran by Imam Khomeini. Effect the concept of wilâyat al-faqîh in contemporary Indonesian Islamic thought encouraged by the publication of books by/about Imam Khoemini and about Shia in general and the development of Shi'i institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the government's policies for the education sector that now must be implemented by every school is using the 2013 curriculum, especially for the elementary school level of education. There are many approaches that can be used in basic and secondary education. This study did at SDIT Raudlatul Jannah that has a learning program using a scientific approach. This research used qualitative approach by type of evaluation research with Stake Model. Data were collected through observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques were done through data reduction, display data, and verification. The result of the study showed that the context aspect (antecedent) base or implementation of learning program of scientific approach in SDIT Raudlatul Jannah is in line with the regulation of minister of education and culture No. 103 year 2014 article 2 verse 7. Transactional aspect of transaction evaluation of scientific approach in SDIT Raudlatul Jannah 85% has met the criteria. Output aspect based on average KKM's achievement, student's SME scores, and students' effective student-level outcomes are good.

Abstract

By using reflective methods, this article seeks to elaborate the methods of interpretive learning in Islamic boarding schools. In developing methodological learning, it seems that the munâzharah method is the most appropriate, because this method can bring up bold and critical thinking on something that is already considered standard, so that creativity and innovation will develop brilliantly. The material being studied at pesantren is the interpretation of the Koran which is textualized in the classical books (al-turâts) which are now popularly known as the kitab kuning. From this book, the students absorb and draw religious knowledge to be developed and applied in society. With the development of modern scientific studies and the rapid growth of science and technology and economy accompanied by various social problems, the development of teaching methods and interpretation studies in pesantren must be renewed and refined, such as the munâzharah. With this method, teaching interpretations can stimulate the active involvement of students, both intellectually and emotionally, so that brilliant ideas emerge.
