Abstract

Abstrak: Modal, keterampilan, dan lahan menjadi kendala utama masyarakat dalam hal bercocok tanam sehingga dilakukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan budikdamber dengan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan ibu-ibu tentang budidaya tanpa tanah (budidaya air) dengan integrasi 2 komoditi dalam satu wadah sebagai bentuk aktualisasi kemandirian pangan rumah tangga. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari penyuluhan, demonstrasi praktek, dan pendampingan pada peserta dalam mempraktekkan tahapan budikdamber. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat non produktif (ibu rumah tangga) yakni ibu-ibu Majelis Ta’lim Nurul Huda Distrik Aimas, Kabupaten Sorong yang berjumlah 23 orang. Pre-test dan post-test menjadi metode evaluasi Tim. Hasil dari kegiatan ini telah memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta akan adanya budidaya air dengan 2 komoditi dalam satu wadah sebesar 80,26% dan peningkatan keterampilan bercocok tanam rumahan dengan budikdamber sebesar 75,57% sehingga untuk menunjang ketersediaan pasokan sayur dan lauk pauk dengan aktifitas produktif ibu-ibu di rumah maka pengeluaran belanja kebutuhan pokok bisa dihemat, dan juga berkorelasi positif terhadap kelestarian lingkungan dengan pemanfaatan barang bekas menjadi wadah tanam akuaponik.Abstract: The fund, skills, and land are the main obstacles for the community in terms of farming so education and training for the budikdamber are carried out to increase the understanding and skills of mothers about landless cultivation (water cultivation) by integrating 2 commodities in one container as a form of actualization of food independence household. The implementation method consists of counseling, practical demonstrations, and assistance to participants in practicing the budikdamber stages. The participants of this activity are non-productive people (housewives), namely the women of the Ta'lim Nurul Huda Council, Aimas District, Sorong Regency, totaling 23 people. Pre-test and post-test became the team's evaluation methods. The results of this activity have provided an increase in participants' knowledge of the existence of aquaculture with 2 commodities in one container by 80.26% and an increase in home farming skills with budikdamber by 75.57% to support the availability of supply of vegetables and side dishes with productive activities of mothers. If a mother is at home, spending on basic needs can be saved, and it is also positively correlated to environmental sustainability by using used goods as aquaponics planting containers.

Abstract

Assistance in the practice of demonstration plots aims in addition to measuring the skills and capacity of farmers towards the adopted cultivation technology, as well as encourage farmers to return to nature by using Biosaka from natural materials (leaves) available in the surrounding environment as a substitute for chemical fertilizers. This activity was carried out in the farmer group Cendrawasi Jl. tuturuga Klamalu Village Mariat District Sorong Regency Southwest Papua in April to June, 2023 by involving students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Muhammadiyah University of Sorong (Unamin). The method applied in community service and empowerment activities to the community or farmers is the method of learning by doing. The achievements resulting from the mentoring activities of sweet corn cultivation demonstration plot practices with Elisitor Bisosaka include making plants grow lush, healthy, increasing sweet corn production by about 50%, in addition, the use of Elisitor Biosaka can save fertilizer and pesticide costs by about 50-60 %,
