Abstract

Technology development triggers the development of human thought to be able to create innovations toimprove performance. The increasing cases of COVID-19 infection mean that you should seek to breakthe chain of this virus by self-isolation. However, the purpose of self-isolation rooms should be consideredespecially at rooms without air conditioning. These technological innovations are needed to provide comfortfor patients and families. The goal of this study is to give families of COVID-19 positive patients easyaccess to their loved ones’ rooms without having to physically enter the room. The procedure is artificialintelligence with Arduino programming using Arduino IDE that is part of the micro controller board. Microcontrolledsystems can be thought of as being like an integrated computer system packaged in a single chip. The result showed the temperature control system tool was able to work well with a temperature error rateof 1.13%. It is known that in COVID-19-positive patients it is very helpful for families to monitor roomtemperature and for patients to rest comfortably.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the role of one of the MBKM programs, namely Student Exchange in the development of competencies / skills of graduates of Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang University. The MBKM program was born so that universities no longer put together, equalize and integrate between the fields of education and job training and work experience, but more broadly towards real experiences for students. This real experience will certainly enhance the competence / skills of students so that they will become graduates who earn a decent income according to the first point of Main Performance Indicators. This research is carried out in 2021 using quantitative methods. The subjects of this study were all students (population survey). Data is collected through the SPADA Dikti Survey and analyzed with frequency tabulation. Research results as many as 60% of students choose the Student Exchange program, as many as 60% of students stated that there was an increase in soft skills well after participating in MBKM activities, as many as 74% of students stated MBKM activities for universities according to the needs of graduates in the future, 91% of students expressed interest in the MBKM program.

Abstract

This research aims to find out which learning model is best to use between Quantum Teaching and Direct Instruction on the main sub-subject of the Human Respiration System. This research was carried out on 11-30 August 2022, where the research was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah Rappang. The population of this research was all class XI students consisting of two classes, with a sample of 80 people. Sampling was carried out using Total Sampling. The instruments used in this research were the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and tests in the form of questions about the Human Respiration System. Evaluation is carried out by giving a multiple choice test with 20 questions. Data were analyzed using the t test. The results of the research show that the learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Quantum Teaching Learning Model in the main sub-material of the Human Respiration System in class . The learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Direct Instruction Model on the main sub-material of the Respiration System in Humans in class Thus, the learning outcomes of students taught using the Quantum Teaching Learning Model with the Direct Instruction Model on the main sub-material of the Respiration System in Humans in class namely 4.4 > 1.994 so it can be concluded that the Ho Hypothesis is rejected and the Ha Hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in student learning outcomes taught using the Quantum Teaching Learning Model and the Direct Instruction Model in class XI of SMA Muhammadiyah Rappang for the 2022/2023 academic year.
