Abstract

The development of the industrial and social revolutions today demands an increase in the quality of human resources who appear as intelligent humans and are able to solve problems. This study aims to determine the effect of the STEAM-Robotics approach in science learning on students' ability to solve problems. So it is hoped that STEAM-Robotics can make students find innovative solutions to real problems and convey them well. This study used an experimental research design, pretest-posttest control group design with one type of treatment. Methods of data collection are done using observation and performance tests. This research was conducted on 81 grade VII students with two T-test analyses, namely the pretest and post-test results of the experimental and control groups. The results showed that the STEAM-Robotics approach in science subjects affected students' problem-solving ability.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to develop instruments for measuring teacher candidates' social competence in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (the fourth I.R.) era. The instrument was developed by referring to Indonesian Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers and the Regulation of the Minister of National Education Number 16 of 2007 to strengthen some special competence of teacher candidates in the fourth IR era. Limited instrument testing was carried out to 107 test subjects for the 6th-semester undergraduate education program at Yogyakarta State University, consisting of three study programs: Mathematics Education, Indonesian Language Education, and English Language Education study programs. The results of the content validity analysis of 30 instrument items obtained the Aiken V index between 0.61 - 0.93, with 29 items valid, and one invalid item. The construct validity analysis with EFA showed 25 valid items and five invalid items, with a KMO value of 0.504. The significance of Bartlett's test was p = 0.000. Meanwhile, the construct validity analysis with CFA showed the model fit, with a Chi-Square value = 290.35 (p 0.05). The reliability results show that the Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient is 0.40 (moderate category). This shows that the social competency assessment instruments for teacher candidates in the fourth IR era developed are feasible to use, with several improvements.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying contextual learning on students’ learning motivation and critical thinking. The subjects of this study were 5th grade students of Muhammadiyah elementary school 2 Tulangan Sidoarjo with Social Sciences subjects on the geographical characteristics of Indonesia. The research method used was a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experiment) with a pretest and post-test control group design. The data collection technique was done by random samping, namely class 5A as the experimental group and class 5B as the coontrol group. The instruments used include observation sheets, motivasion questionnaires, and pretest-post-test questions. Data were analyzed by independent t test. The results of this study were that the application of contextual learning has an effect on increasing learning motivation for the experimental group with an average of 36.27 and the control group with an average of 36.23. It also improved critical thinking with an average of 97.23 in the experimental group and an average of 94.83 in the control group. Through the independent t test, a significance value of 0.000 > 0.05 was been obtained. Thus, the application of contextual learning could significantly affect the learning motivation and critical thinking of fifth grade students of Muhammadiyah elementary school 2 Tulangan Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study applied Station rotation as one of differentiated instructions. Each student who comes in the classroom has a unique characteristic to capture the lesson in the classroom. Blended Learning’s Station Rotation is a learning method that nurtures higher order thinking skills and is able to meet all the students learning needs. This study is a classroom action research and uses One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with descriptive quantitative analysis techniques. Data is collected through observation, interviews, teacher’s journal, and students’ learning outcomes. Station rotation is able to promote students’ performance in problem solving, critical thinking, and finishing project creatively to apply their understanding in their learning process. The result showed, the Station Rotation method promotes higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mosel problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika di SMA 1 Ponorogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian True Experimental Design dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan perhitungan posttest kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika diperoleh rata- rata kelas kontrol adalah 48,28 dan kelas eksperimen 57,19. Kemudian, hasil dari penghitungan dengan uji independen sampel t-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi berdasarkan pada kolom asymp. Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,043 atau signifikansi < 0,05 (0,043<0,054). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada nilai posttest kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen yang berarti model problem based learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa malam memecahkan masalah matematika

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan berdasar pada permasalahan yang muncul yaitu rendahnya visua literacy skill siswa SMK jurusan multimedia. Yang mana idealnya siswa SMK urusan multimedia memiliki visual literacy skill yang tinggi, sebagai bentuk kemampuan penunjang mereka dalam membuat dan mengembangkan sebuah media. Oleh sebab itu, dalam penelitian ini dilakukan uji coba untuk meningkatkan visual literacy skill siswa dengan memanfaatkan model pembelajaran project-based online learning. Sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project-based online learning terhadap visual literacy skill siswa SMK jurusan multimedia. Dengan desain penelitian eksperimen dan analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-test diperoleh hasil adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project-based online learning terhadap visual literacy skill siswa SMK jurusan multimedia.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to know the effect of cooperative learning model of team game tournament with uno card toward student activity fourth grade student of Elementary School and to know the effect of cooperative learning model of team game tournament with uno card to learning outcomes of Social Studies fourth grade student of Elementary School. This research is conducted in SDN Sidokare IV, Sidoarjo with research subject is fourth grade students in fourth A as control class and fourth B grade students as experiment class school year 2015/2016. The type of research is experiment research with form of research is pretest-posttest control group design. The research data was obtained as follows: students activity at experiment class is better than control class. This condition was shown with tarithmetic score (5,253) > ttable (1.994) with mean score in experiment class is 82,3200 higher than students social skills in control class 71,5600. So, there are effect of cooperative learning model of team game tournament with uno card to student activity. While for second hypothesis testing was showed that student learning outcomes in experiment class is higher than control class. This condition was shown with tarithmetic score (5.462) > ttable (1.994) with mean score in experiment class is 90,3400 higher than student learning outcomes in control class 62,9600. So, there are effect of cooperative learning model of team game tournament with uno card to student learning outcomes.Keywords: Team Game Tournament Learning Model, Uno Card, Student Learning Activity. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran team game tournament dengan media kartu uno terhadap aktivitas siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran team game tournament dengan media kartu uno terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Sidokare IV, Sidoarjo dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas IVB sebagai kelas eksperimen tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: aktivitas siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung (5,253) > ttabel (1.994) dengan nilai mean pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,3200 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan aktivitas siswa pada kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 71,5600. Jadi, ada pengaruh model pembelajaran team game tournament dengan media kartu uno terhadap aktivitas siswa. Sedangkan untuk pengujian hipotesis kedua menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung (5.462) > ttabel (1.994) dengan nilai mean pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 90,3400 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas kontrol yaitu 62,9600. Jadi, ada pengaruh model pembelajaran team game tournament terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran team game tournament dengan media kartu uno, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to describe the opinion of children to parents who work as migrant workers for elementary school students and describe the motivation and achievement of elementary school students whose parents work as Indonesian migrant workers. This research is a qualitative research. The type of research used is case study. In this method requires in-depth study of a situation. Data analysis by the process of collecting data, data reduction, presenting data, and draw conclusions. The results showed students who left by their parents working as Indonesian migrant workers they realize that his parents are working to earn money to meet daily needs. They also revealed if her parents are working mother is at home every day there will be a guide in studying at home. Motivation to learn elementary school students senggreng 04 and 05 whose parents work as Indonesian migrant Workers have not shown have good motivation and their learning achievement still not meet the standard of mastery learning. Keywords: Motivation, Learning Achievement. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendapat anak terhadap orangtua yang bekerja sebagai TKI bagi siswa sekolah dasar dan mendeskripsikan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar yang orangtuanya bekerja sebagai tenaga kerja indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus. Dalam metode ini dibutuhkan penelitian yang mendalam terhadap suatu keadaan. Analisis data dengan proses mengumpulkan data, reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan siswa yang ditinggalkan orangtuanya bekerja sebagai tenaga kerja Indonesia mereka menyadari bahwasannya orangtuanya tersebut bekerja untuk mencari uang demi memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Mereka juga mengungkapkan jika orangtuanya yaitu ibu yang bekerja tersebut berada di rumah setiap hari akan ada yang membimbingnya dalam belajar dirumah. Motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar senggreng 04 dan 05 yang orangtuanya bekerja sebagai Tenaga Kerja Indonesia belum menunjukan memiliki motivasi yang baik dan prestasi belajar mereka masih belum memenuhi standar ketuntasan belajar. Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Prestasi Belajar Siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research as to know how great the influence, the motivation, infrastructures and children learning to study results especially primary school class IV. Subjects used are the fourth grade students in Elementary School Inpres Oekaem, Meusin Village, Boking Sub-District, South Central Timor District, East Nusa Tenggara Province. While the study sample was 40 students consisting of 2 classes namely class IV-A total of 20 students and class IV-B amounted to 20 students. The model of data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the variable motivation and learning facilities and infrastructure affect the educational outcomes of children's learning. Keywords: Motivation, Facilities and Infrastructure Learning, Learning Outcomes. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi belajar, dan sarana prasarana belajar terhadap hasil belajar anak kelas IV SD Inpres Oekaem. Subjek yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas IV di SD Inpres Oekaem, Desa Meusin, Kecamatan Boking, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan-Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah 40 siswa yang yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yakni kelas IV-A berjumlah 20 siswa dan kelas IV-B berjumlah 20 siswa. Adapun model analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel Motivasi serta Sarana dan prasarana belajar berpengaruh terhadap pendidikan hasil belajar anak. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Sarana dan Prasarana Belajar, dan Hasil Belajar Anak.

Abstract

The importance of human resources is based on the fact that human resources are the basic elements of every company. Human resources can determine the advantages of a company because human resources are goal makers, innovation, communication, creativity, and strategy for the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Work Based Learning training model on the creativity of trainees at BLK Bojonegoro. This research is a qualitative research which can specifically be categorized as a qualitative research program evaluation. The sample in this study amounted to 100 trainees at BLK Bojonegoro. The results showed that the high scale of creativity (85.5%), the tasks of the training participants (83.4%), support for learning (78.8%) and clear goals (76%). In training models where exposure to real-world constraints, opportunities, policies and regulations is mandatory, work-based learning occupies an important niche in participants' experiences.
