Abstract

 The present research has two main goals, first, to re-test the dimensions of corporate culture from Hofstede et al. (1990). And second, to test the hypotheses regarding the relationship between corporate culture and employee behavior, including job saticfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intent. The sample frame is 952 respondents who serve as educative staff and administrator at the Bengkulu University. Four-hundred-and-eightyseven  respondents completed the questionnaire, resulted the 51.16% respond rate. Factor Analysis and Reliability Analysis from SPSS 12.00 were applied to test the dimensions of corporate cultureand the hypotheses were tested using SE-Path from Statistica 5.0. The 42 items questionnaire is loaded in 6 factors, as well as in Hofstede et al.’s study. Seven i tems dropped because factor loadings were less than 0.40. Another 1 item was drifted in reliability test. Therefore, the final 34 items were analyzed further with SE-Path to test the research hypotheses. Two out of 6 hypotheses are supported (hypothesis 1 and 5); 3 hypothesis are partially supported (hypothesis 2, 3, and 6); and hypothesis 4 are not supported.Keywords: corporate culture, job saticfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intent.

Abstract

oABSTRACTl This study aimslto produce learning media to improve the social character of elementary school students. Character values based on local wisdom from the Tanjung Bumi Batik motif were developed in the pictorial stories ebook media. This study uses a04D development model. (define, design,kdevelop, andddisseminate). The subjects ofhthis study were fourth grade students A as the experimental group and grade IV B students as the control group at SDN Tengket 2, Arosbaya District, Bangkalan Regency. The results of the study found that: 1.) the meaning and value of Batik Tanjung Bumi is in accordance with the implementation of ‘Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter’ (PPK) contained in Permendikbud number 20 of 2018, namely honest, hard work, peace-loving, disciplined, independent, and religious characters. 2.) pictorial stories ebook media is declared very feasible to use based on the results of material validation of 91.43% and media validation of 100%. 3.) the practicality of the comic book media was obtained by observation with a score of 92% for individual trials, 87.5% for small group trials, and 88% for field tests with very good categories. 4.) the results of the test of the effectiveness of the pictorial stories ebook media were obtained from the pretest and posttest in the experimental group and control group with a P-value (0.000) <0.05 and the difference in the N-gain score is 0.27, which indicates that the N-gain score of the experimental group is higher than the N-gain score of the control group. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the developed pictorial stories ebook media can improve the social character of the fourth grade students of SDN Tengket 2 effectively.Keywords: pictorial stories ebook media, social character education, local wisdom, Batik Tanjung Bumi

Abstract

The fulfillment of household needs can implement various strategies, including debt strategy. A money lending service becomes an attraction to fulfilling the needs of life. The money lending service on credit is known as bank thitil by Javanese. This study presents the factors that make housewives have a dependency behavior on bank thitil loans. This dependency behavior is examined from the perspective of the planned behavior theory by Ajzen. This study used a qualitative approach and the subjects of this study were housewives who have debt in bank thitil. Some factors encourage the dependency behavior of housewives on bank thitil loans. This research finds that the implementation of Ajzen’s planned behavior theory in analyzing the factors of indebted housewives is integrated with some factors, including (1) the influence of attitudes that assume the bank thitil provides benefits, (2) subjective norms in the form of lifestyle and environmental vicinity, and (3) social control that supports the housewives in borrowing money from the bank thitil.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the value clarification technology learning model (VCT) in social studies learning for elementary school students. The research method in this study used documents obtained from previous studies. Sources of library program information are also from a review of previous research that has the same goal. The test in this study was intended to obtain and analyze several VCT learning models in social studies learning for elementary school children. The results of this study include eight articles that were reviewed based on references, research methods, and interventions. The conclusion reached in this study is the Value Clarification Technology (VCT) learning method improves learning outcomes, problem solving skills, aspects of religious values, worship obedience, tolerance, discipline, caring for friends, discussion and having a sense of responsibility to complete tasks correctly. time, imitating the heroism and patriotism of the figures in their environment, and learning motivation in social studies learning for elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran terpadu model sequenced pada tema berbagai pekerjaan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV di SDN Tambak Sumur Kecamatan Waru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan yang bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat dengan mengikuti rancangan 4-D model dari Thiagarajan (1974) yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D dilanjutkan dengan tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas dengan menggunakan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: hasil validasi perangkat pembelajaran berkatogori baik dan dapat digunakan dengan revisi. Tingkat kesulitan BAS sangat rendah dan mudah dipahami. Tingkat keterbacaan BAS sangat tinggi dan mudah dipahami. Skor keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 3,34 yang berkategori baik. Frekuensi aktivitas siswa yang menonjol adalah mendengarkan atau memperhatikan penjelasan guru sebesar 26,37%. Persentase respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran sebesar 94,6%. Skor ketuntasan belajar siswa dari Tes Hasil Belajar (THB) uji coba I soal pretest adalah 66,5 (20%), pada posttest 88 (90%). Uji coba II soal pretest adalah 57,1 (17%), pada posttest 81,5 (92%). Kendala dalam kegiatan pembelajaran adalah media yang dimiliki sekolah sangat sedikit dan pada awal pertemuan ada beberapa siswa yang masih pasif, namun pada pertemuan berikutnya sudah tidak nampak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran terpadu model sequenced untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat dikembangkan dan mempunyai kualitas yang baik, namun masih memerlukan penyesuaian dengan situasi dan kondisi di sekolah.                                                                                                                                AbstractResearch aim to develop an integrated learning device type sequenced in a sub-theme œvarious job to train the critical of student thinking skill of grade 4 in SDN Tambak Sumur Waru. This research is carried out in two stages, namely preparation stage that aims is to develop an equipment to follow the design of 4D models from Thiagarajan (1974) that was modified to 3D continued with the lesson in class with using the draft one group pretest-posttest design. Result of research data is as follows: result of the validation BAS has good category and can be used by revision. Level of difficulty students textbook is very low and easy to understand. High legibility student textbook is very high and it is easy to understand. The score completed learning is 3,34 were categorized as well. The major frequency of dominant students activities are listening or implementing of the teacher explanation is 26,37%. The percentage of students response to learning model is 94,6%. The score completed score of the learning result test (THB) trial I about pretest is 66,5 (20%) in posttest 88 (90%). Trial II, pretest is 57,1 (17%), in posttest 81,5 (92%). The problems of learning activities are a lack of in media school and at the beginning of the meetings, there are a number of students who are passive but do not come in the next meeting. Based on the analysis data result, it can be concluded that integrated learning device type sequenced to train critical of thinking skills can be developed and have a good quality, but still needs adjustment to the situation and conditions in schools.

Abstract

The teaching of Indonesian history, in many cases in school, remains dominated by history of politics and political indoctrination, underscoring the need for critical and holistic learning. This paper aims to analyze the Indonesian National History textbooks used in schools, and to examine the possibility of teaching Indonesian history that goes beyond political indoctrination and is holistic. The method used in this paper is the analysis of an Indonesian National History textbooks that have been used as the main textbook for the history subject in schools. The teaching of Indonesian history in schools is still dominated by a single version of historical events. The narratives of Indonesian history lessons often ignore different perspectives, or other aspects of historical events that are of interest. Indonesian history does not only belong to the winners. A holistic approach to the teaching of history is expected to help enrich students' knowledge of past events and provide a clearer picture of the history of a multicultural society. For example, a discussion of the Benteng economic policy should not only revolve around the points of view of one ethnic group and ignore the suffering of others. In other cases, discussions on the PKI revolt often neglect human rights aspects, et cetera. Not only should students gain knowledge about past events based on the dominant interpretations, but are also exposed to the narratives of marginalized people. Not only that, history lessons should also cover aspects that include arts, literature, painting, music and other cultural products. In the end, a holistic approach enriches students’ understanding of a historical event, foster a positive attitude and inspire them to learn about stories that have been under-heard or deliberately marginalized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the character education model conducted by KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar through the advice given was able to change the behavior of students at the Darul Mustaghisin Islamic boarding school Lamongan. With the advice given, they are able to foster the behavior of students, who were previously less educated, become students who are educated and have character. The basis of the touch of advice given by Kh. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar, as exemplified in the behavioristic flow that was expressed by Watson regarding stimulus and response (S-R Psychology).This study uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive design. Descriptive itself, revealing the factuality of the study and the problem under study. Observations of the character education model conducted by KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar as an effort to foster social behavior of students at the Darul Mustaghisin Islamic boarding school Lamongan has a goal to shape the character of students. Among the models carried out by KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar is like 1). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar on Religious values, 2). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar on the values of honesty, 3). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar on the values of tolerance, 4). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar on the values of discipline, 5). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar about hard work, 6). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar on creative, 7). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar on independence, 8). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar democratic, 9). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar curiosity and 10). Character education KH. Mas'ud Al-Mudjenar responsibility. The whole thing is internalized through the teaching of badongan, madrasah diniyah, collective activities of students and extracurricular activities of students.

Abstract

materi keragaman suku bangsa dan budaya di Indonesia kelas IV. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan Prestest- Posttest Control Group Design, dengan menggunakan model penelitin dan pengembangan model 4D. Responden penelitian ini kelas IV dengan kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 20 dan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 20. Instrumen menggunakan angket validasi, angket kepraktisan dan tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dengan rumus Independent Sample T-Test. Setelah diberikan perlakukan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang dilihat dari hasil uji-t. Pada uji T-test menunjukkan bahwa kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen mendapatkan sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,022 lebih besar dari 0,05 yang menunjukan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan pada hasil pretest peserta didik. Sedangkan pada posttest diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 yang menunjukan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen setelah diberikan perlakuan mengunakan media Setara berbasis android.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan model cooperative learning tipe STAD berbantuan media video show yang dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan sosial dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dengan langkah yaitu: (1) Presentasi kelas atau penyajian materi; (2) Pembentukan kelompok; (3) Tes (Kuis); (4) Perhitungan skor perubahan atau perkembangan siswa; (5) Pengakuan tim atau penghargaan kelompok. Untuk mengungkapkan kelayakan model cooperative learning tipe STAD berbantuan video show digubakan instrumen lembar validasi pada dua validator dan uji coba siswa perorangan serta kelompok kecil. Untuk mengungkapkan kepraktisan model cooperative learning digunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan keterampilan sosial siswa pada uji coba lapangan. Serta mengungkapkan keefektifan digunakan lembar penilaian pembelajaran pada uji coba lapangan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan karakter perlu ditanamkan dalam pembelajaran. Kearifan lokal dapat dijadikan alternatif instrument yang tepat dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter karena nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dapat menjadi filter budaya asing yang tidak sesuai kepribadian bangsa. Salah satu upaya penguatan karakter dalam pembelajaran adalah dengan menyediakan bahan ajar yang menuntun pada perubahan karakter siswsa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal. Desain penelitian ini menerapakan model pengembangan 4-D (four D Models ) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan. Tahap pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, validasi ahli, angket, dan instrument non test pretest posttest. Kelayakan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal menunjukkan persentase 93% dengan keterangan sangat layak. Hasil angket siswa dan guru menunjukkan 89,8% dengan keterangan sangat praktis. Hasil peningkatan karakter siswa dibuktikan dari perbandingan hasil posttes kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan uji Independent Samples T- Test pada aspek religious diketahui nilai thitung = 6,675 >ttabel =0,000, aspek mandiri diketahui nilai thitung = 6,298 >ttabel =0,000, data aspek gotong royong diketahui nilai thitung = 5,112 >ttabel =0,000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kelas kontol dan kelas eksperimen maka H0 di tolak dan Ha di terima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal Kampung Nambangan sebagai sumber pendidikan karakter yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan, praktis diterapkan, dan efektif meningkatkan karakter siswa.Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Kearifan Lokal, Pendidikan Karakter Abstract: Character education needs to be embedded in learning. Local wisdom can be used as an appropriate alternative instrument in strengthening character education because the values of local wisdom can be a filter of foreign culture that does not fit into the nation's personality. One effort to strengthen character in learning is to provide teaching materials that lead to changes in student character. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of teaching materials based on local wisdom. This research design applies the 4-D (four D Models) development model developed by Thiagarajan. The data collection stage uses documentation, expert validation, questionnaires, and non-pretest posttest instruments. The feasibility of teaching materials based on local wisdom shows a percentage of 93% with very decent information. The results of student and teacher questionnaires showed 89.8% with very practical information. The results of the improvement of student character are evidenced by the comparison of the results of the experimental class posttes with the control class. Based on the Independent Samples T-Test on the religious aspect it is known that the value of tcount = 6.675> ttable = 0.000, the independent aspect is known the value of tcount = 6.298> ttable = 0.000, the aspect of mutual cooperation data is known the tcount value = 5.112> ttable = 0.000. This shows that there is a difference between the dick class and the experimental class then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that the teaching materials based on local wisdom of Kampung Nambangan as a source of character education that has been developed are declared to be appropriate, practical, and effective in improving student character.Keywords: Teaching Materials, Local Wisdom, Character Education
