Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari fungsi Public Relations (PR) dalam menjalankan aktivitas corporate social responsibility (CSR). Penelitian ini juga mengkaji apakah fungsi PR terlibat dalam aktivitas pelaksanaan, pembinaan, sosialisasi dan promosi serta aktivitas CSR guna menunjang pencapaian tujuan perusaahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi partisipan. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah para stakeholder di PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Area III Jawa Barat dan Banten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fungsi PR dapat bersinergi dengan CSR dalam menunjang pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Aktifitas CSR dapat menunjang fungsi PR dalam menciptakan image yang positif dan membina hubungan yang harmonis. The purpose of this research is to study the function of Public Relations (PR) in carrying out the activities of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This study also examines whether the PR function involves implementation, development, dissemination and promotion and CSR activities to support the achievement of corporate goals. The method used in this study is qualitative methods by implementing the design of case studies. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, documentary studies, and participant observation. The Respondents in this study are the stakeholders in PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Area III West Java and Banten. The result of this study indicates that the PR function can work synergizely with CSR to support the achievement of corporate goals. CSR activities can support the function of PR in creating a positive image and foster a harmonious relationship.

Abstract

The biggest challenge of management today is wining talent war. Talent war is a situationwhen the company beat their competitors vying with each other to obtain the best talent in thelabor market. One strategy to win this war talent with talent management is implemented to define,discover, develop, and manage and retain talented employees in an effort to achievestrategic goalsand future business needs. The results showed the company has been able to align talentmanagement strategies with business strategies, creating a 360o assessment, developing a talentmindset, but the generational competence approach has not been done in a structured and tends tobe partial.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis paper discusses the human capital approach to manage human resources becoming more productive. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive research. Human capital approach for the implementation has five main components, namely individual capability, individual motivation, the organization climate, workgroup effectiveness and leadership. the importance of the role of human resources in the activities of the company, then the company should manage human resources as best as possible because the key to success of a company is not only the benefits of technology and the availability of funds, but also on the human factor. Based on observations in Indonesia, there  are still many companies thathave not implemented the most optimal approach to human capital. The results of the study indicate that the human capital component is not yet optimal, especially in terms of individual capability and individual motivation.Keywords : Human capital approach, individual capability, individual motivation, the                   organization climate, workgroup effectiveness and leadership ABSTRAKTulisan ini membahas pendekatan human capital untuk mengelola sumber daya manusia yang lebih produktif. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe employees are one important asset  in a company to achieve its goal. The employees must be used in company well . In fact, work stress is suffering many employees in companies. This Job is not ruled in  working schedules and many problems may happen in their work. Also it can cause work stress. That is way, the journalist is hoped be able to cope  with their work stress from individual approach and supported by company’s policies. The increase of work stress can cause fluctuation low productivity.The purpose of this study is to understand the strategy used by the company to handle its employees stress at work in news department journalist PT. Esa Visual Padjadjaran Televisi (PJTV). This study uses the quatuative method. The design of this study uses analysis descriptive and the data collecting method uses library research and field study wich includes open observation, unstructured interview, and documentation research. The result of the research showed that the stressors in news department journalist PT. Esa Visual Padjadjaran Televisi (PJTV) are there are no all newsworthy events, departement that includes 30 sub-districts, limited time, and pressure from the boss. The job stress management done by journalist are refrehing, or out of the work place for a moment, smoking, and others. The job stress management done by the company through four categories: organizational communication, employee performance appraisal, employee development, adn employee benefits. Keywords : Employees, job stress management, Journalist ANALISIS MANAJEMEN STRESS PADA PERUSAHAAN PERS(Studi pada PJTV) ABSTRAKKaryawan sebagai kekayaan (asset) utama perusahaan, untuk mencapai tujuan dan sasaran suatu perusahaan, karyawan harus dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin. Namun, pada kenyataannya stres kerja kerap dialami banyak pihak di tempat kerja. Secara individu diharapkan wartawan mampu mengelola stres, ditunjang dengan kebijakan perusahaan. Stres secara berlebihan dan dalam jangka waktu yang panjang akan mengakibatkan kinerja lebih rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui manajemen stres kerja pada wartawan divisi pemberitaan PT. Esa Visual Padjadjaran Televisi (PJTV). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif analisis. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu studi kepustakaan dan studi lapangan yang meliputi observasi terbuka, wawancara tak terstruktur, studi dokumentasi, dan triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa faktor – faktor penyebab stres kerja pada pada wartawan divisi pemberitaan PT. Esa Visual Padjadjaran Televisi (PJTV) di antaranya: 1) belum ada peristiwa yang layak dijadikan berita; 2) lokasi kerja yang luas karena harus mengcover 30 kecamatan; 3) waktu yang terbatas; 4) dimarahi redaktur. Adapun pengelolaan stres kerja yang dilakukan wartawan adalah dengan refreshing, atau keluar ruangan sejenak, merokok, dan lain – lain. Pengelolaan stres kerja yang dilakukan perusahaan melalui empat kategori yaitu, komunikasi oraganisasional, penilaian kinerja karyawan, pengembangan karyawan, dan kesejahteraan karyawan. Kata kunci: Manajemen stres kerja, stres kerja, wartawan

Abstract

This study aims to describe each stage of design thinking at PT Karya Anak Bangsa (Gojek) to create appropriate and practical solutions to problems that arise in the community. The methodology used for this research was a literature review with descriptive analysis and identification with David Kelley & Tim Brown's theory. The expert opinion of each explanation strengthens it. The results of this study were that with a good design thinking process PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa (Gojek) had produced a variety of solutions that were only online-based transportation applications. However, currently, Gojek also created a variety of services according to various community needs. It was also able to create business opportunities from a problem that occurred in the community.

Abstract

Design thinking has become one of the model approaches that can be carried out by a business entity. The design concept approach model is widely chosen because it has several stages and thought lines that are systematic, mutually sustainable, understanable and applicable. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the use of design thinking approach models in business entities, which are the research locus, namely in Smartnesia Educa. This research used a descriptive analysis method using a qualitative approach. The data collected was secondary and primary data in the form of interviews and supporting documents in Smartnesia Educa. The results of this study indicated that Smartnesia Educa had applied the design thinking in its operational business processes to become heterogeneous tutoring and could be accepted by all levels of economic and social markets.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBased on the objective in this research, the autor deeply want to know is the organizational culture that existed at PT X  Medan North Sumatra. This research use quantitative methods with survey type. Author collected data using The Denison Organizational Survey (DOCS) and  interviews. The Denison Organizational Survey (DOCS) is derived from Denison Model that emphasizes the four dimensions of culture. Data collection and interviews carried out by the top management. The results of research identified PT X  has a weak culture. The results of the questionnaire revealed an imbalance between the four dimensions of Denison Model. Involvement dimension have the highest value while adaptability dimension with the lowest score. In top level managemen  perceptions of organizational cultur has good category.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui budaya organisasi pada level manajemen puncak PT X Medan Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis survey. Penulis mengumpulkan data menggunakan kuesioner The Denison Organizational Survey (DOCS) dan wawancara.  DOCS  berasal dari Model Denison yang menekankan pada empat dimensi budaya dalam organisasi yang harus dikuasai agar organisasi dapat berjalan secara efektif. Pengumpulan data dan wawancara dilakukan pada jenjang manajemen puncak. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasikan bahwa PT X memiliki budaya yang lemah. Sebab, keempat dimensi Model Denison yaitu adaptability, consistency, involvement, dan mission menunjukkan  ketidakseimbangan. Dimensi involvement memiliki nilai paling tinggi sedangkan dimensi adaptability dengan nilai paling rendah. Persepsi mengenai budaya organisasi pada level manajemen puncak pada kategori baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the organizational culture at the level of middle management and under management  PT XYZ Medan, North Sumatra. This research uses quantitative methods with the type of survey research. The sample in this study were 39 people from the middle management level and 114 people from the lower management level. The author collected data using the Denison Organizational Survey (DOCS) questionnaire). DOCS comes from the Denison Model which emphasizes the four cultural dimensions in organizations that must be mastered so that organizations can run effectively. The results of the study identified that PT XYZ has a weak organizational culture due to the four dimensions of the Denison Model namely adaptability, consistency, involvement, and mission indicating an imbalance. The involvement dimension has the highest value while the adaptability dimension has the lowest value.
