Abstract

This study aims to describe the involvement of religious instruments in the dynamics of the 2012 Regional Head Elections for the Regent and Deputy Regent of Purwakarta Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with the dramaturgical approach of Erving Goffman on symbolic interactionism and Max Weber on social action theory. This study indicates that the normative use of religious elements is used as a weapon for candidates as a political commodity to attract mass sympathy and highlight the identity of a particular group. Among the religious issues used in the Pilkada Purwakarta could be the use of religious symbols, statements, figures and places used by the contestants and political constituents in Purwakarta.

Abstract

This study discusses religious thoughts that affect the learning ethos of students during the Covid-19 pandemic, which has formed a new culture in the learning process that is carried out online (on the network). This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in observation, interviews and literature review. In contrast, the data analysis method used is an analysis of the religious ideas of Jabariyah, Qadariyah, Ahlu Sunnah Waljama'ah in the indicators of a predetermined learning ethos. This research has shown the results that: first, the level of religious understanding of students has shown a significant influence on learning ethos during the covid-19 pandemic, second, there is a change in the learning ethic of students seen from indicators/moral aspects (attitudes, behaviour, habits). Al-Jiddu (resistance/persistence, sincerity), al-Thariiq (method), AlHimmah (interests, ideals), and al-Shobru (patience). Third, the flow of Ahlu Sunnah Waljama'ah thought in the socio-cultural environment of the Purwakarta community also contributed to strengthening religious literacy during the covid-19 pandemic. Thus, the influence of religious thinking on the learning ethos of students has implications for the intellectual repertoire in the theological and social fields and will shape academic attitudes and culture in their participation in strengthening community religious literacy

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan menguraikan tentang hubungan antara agama dan politik yang terjadi di DKI Jakarta dalam kerangka Pemilihan Umum Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) pada tahun 2017 lalu sebagai salah satu saluran demokrasi di Indonesia. Melalui metode dan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, peneliti lebih memfokuskan kajiannya pada serangkaian peristiwa demonstrasi besar-besaran yang terjadi di Jakarta dengan dinamai “Aksi Bela Islam” oleh kelompok penggeraknya yaitu GNPF-MUI (Gerakan Naisonal Pengawal Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia) yang berpengaruh terhadap konstelasi politik saat itu. Artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa Aksi Bela Islam telah menunjukkan keterlibatannya dalam arena politik yang bergejolak, dan proses tersebut telah membentuk watak situasi politik yang terjadi dalam Pilkada DKI Jakarta. Selain itu, kajian ini pun menunjukkan bahwa proses demokrasi yang tengah berjalan telah memungkinkan munculnya identitas agama dalam Pilkada DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

The presence of the Covid-19 virus in various parts of the world, including Indonesia, has limited various movements and activities, including worship. The MUI has ijtihad by issuing a fatwa regarding the implementation of worship during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it reaps the pros and cons. This phenomenon is the object of this study. This study intends to describe the religious attitudes of PAI FIS UNJ students in the midst of the 2019 corona virus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. The research method in this journal is a quantitative survey research method. Which is used to collect information from a group of people in order to describe aspects of the research. From the survey results to PAI FIS UNJ students, it was concluded that there were pros and cons regarding the fatwa issued by the MUI. Overall, they did not experience difficulties in worshiping during the pandemic and the majority of PAI FIS UNJ students agreed with the MUI fatwa even though there were some suggestions for the fatwa. Actually, the main problem that occurred was the pros and cons of PAI FIS UNJ students regarding the implementation of worship, namely the existence of misunderstandings in responding to the results of the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). So, we need to look more carefully and really understand the fatwa issued by the MUI.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Wahid Foundation, Yenny Wahid di tengah kegiatan workshop desa inklusi di Grage Hotel Cirebon yang bekerja sama dengan Komunitas Gerakan Desa Membangun (GDM) pada tahun 2016 lalu, menyampaikan bahwa kecenderungan masyarakat dalam berpandangan dan berperilaku intoleran yang dibungkus atas nama agama terus meningkat, terlebih hal itu dibuktikan dengan adanya rilis beberapa media yang menyebutkan bahwa provinsi Jawa Barat menjadi salah satu provinsi dengan kasus intoleransi dan radikalisme tertinggi di Indonesia. Sebagai provinsi dengan mayoritas penduduknya beragama Islam ditambah dengan banyaknya lembaga pendidikan pesantren, jelas hal ini kontra produktif. Dalam kajiannya ini, penelitian ini ingin menunjukkan bagaimana proses pembelajaran atau pendidikan pada pondok pesantren dalam merespon wacana intoleransi dan radikalisme atas nama agama agar dapat menepis pondok pesantren itu dianggap sebagai “sarang teroris”. Melalui metode kualitatif dan pendekatan lapangan yang dilakukan pada pondok pesantren Al-Asy’ariyah Wanayasa dan ponpok pesantren Nurul Jadid Bojong ini diuraikan bahwa masih terdapat pandangan dalam pondok pesantren yang belum siap menerima dan memproses pembelajaran dengan pendekatan inklusif sehingga hal ini memberikan dampak pada pemahaman keagamaan yang belum cukup terbuka.

Abstract

SDS Inklusi Azaddy Al-Ghozali Jatinangor merupakan sekolah yang eksistensinya memberi penguatan nilai – nilai akhlak  dengan integrasi pendidikan melalui daily routine. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam terkait integrasi pendidikan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Abdul Hamid. Terdapat 5 standar nilai – nilai yang harus dipertahankan, yaitu; 1) Tingkah Laku; 2) keindahan; 3) keadilan; 4) kebenaran:  5) efisiensi. Teori akhlak mengacu pada Imam Al-Ghazali. Terdapat 4 pembagian kriteria akhlak, yaitu; 1) kekuatan ilmu; 2) kekuatan marah yang terkontrol oleh akal; 3) kekuatan nafsu syahwat, 4) kekuatan keseimbangan. Teori Integrasi mengacu pada Anwar Sanusi meliputi : 1) kesatuan yang utuh; 2) tidak terpecah belah. Adapun teori inklusi mengacu pada teori Jamilah Candra Pratiwi. Sekolah inklusi tidak memandang dari 5 aspek, yaitu : 1) emosi; 2) fisik; 3) intelegensi; 4) social; 5) emosional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sekolah ini menanamkan nilai – nilai akhlak melalui strategi integrasi pendidikan dengan indikator neurosains, nutrisi dan stimulus. Aspek ini diimplementasikan terhadap anak normal maupun anak berkebutuhan khusus dalam menanamkan nilai – nilai akhlak.

Abstract

Learning stress or academic stress is a category of distress in which students perceive academic demands as disturbing. It can also be interpreted as pressure related to the ability to master a science. Symptoms of learning stress include physical reactions, behaviour, thought processes, and emotions. Based on various research results, the level of learning stress increases during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is considered related to the change in the face-to-face learning system to online (in the network), which raises new factors as triggers for learning stress. This research was conducted to determine how the COVID-19 pandemic affects stress in learning and find solutions to overcome feelings of stress in learning, especially solutions from an Islamic perspective. The method used by the author in this study is a qualitative method with a literature study approach with analysis of the theory of Robert J. Van Amberg about the stages of stress. The results of the study revealed that learning stress factors during the covid-19 pandemic were in the form of lack of understanding of the material, a lot of assignments, declining grades, a tiring and boring learning system, quota constraints and internet networks, individual internal factors, and social factors other. Islam views stress as a trial that every Muslim must face. Islam also provides solutions for stress, namely patience, tawakkal, and the discipline of worship. Other solutions for learning stress during the COVID-19 pandemic can also be in the form of problem-focused coping and emotional focused coping, web-based Solution-Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC), and spiritual, emotional freedom technique (SEFT).

Abstract

This study aims to describe and how the relationship between religiosity and altrusic behavior of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta. This is important to research considering how far the influence of religious education that has been presented in the Jakarta State University curriculum in the form of intracurricular, co-curricular and / or extracurricular activities. The method used in this research is quantitative correlation and probability sampling technique with purposive random sampling with homogeneous data which is used as a sample of 90 people from a population of 898 students. The theoretical analysis used for the religious variable (x) is the theory of the religious dimension of C.Y. Glock and R.W. Stark, while Cohen's theory is used for the altruistic behavior variable of students (y). Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that first, student diversity is considered good with an average value of 71.91%. Second, students' alturistic behavior is considered good with an average score of 68.20%. Third, there is a positive and quite significant relationship between religiosity and student altruistic behavior with a correlation value of 0.276 and a percentage of the relationship of 07.6% and there is a positive and significant influence on diversity (X) with student altruistic behavior (Y) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University. Negeri Jakarta based on the results of the regression calculation by comparing the F count and F table, with F count greater than F table, namely F count = 4.642 and F table = 4.15. So that the alternative hypothesis which states that there is an influence between religiosity on student altruistic behavior is accepted and the null hypothesis which states that there is no influence is rejected.

Abstract

Religious literacy is essential because understanding religious doctrine is about the normative principle and how religion applies in a social context. Religious literacy can develop through the learning process. This study analyzes student religious literacy by learning Islamic Religious Education (IRE) based on the flipped classroom. The research method used is classroom action research through two cycles. The research subjects were students who took the general course of Islamic Religious Education. The results showed that applying flipped classrooms in Islamic Religious Education learning could increase student diversity in belief, practice dimensions, knowledge dimensions, and implementation dimensions. The implementation of Islamic learning based on flipped classroom can also improve student learning activities. Students pay attention to learning carefully, actively participate in discussions, actively ask questions, provide opinions, and perform assigned tasks. Besides that, the implementation of a flipped classroom can also improve student learning outcomes.Literasi keberagamaan penting dimiliki karena memahami ajaran agama bukan hanya sebatas pada doktrin normatifnya saja, melainkan juga pada bagaimana agama diterapkan dalam konteks sosial. Literasi keberagamaan dapat dikembangkan melalui proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan literasi keberagamaan mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis flipped classroom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah classroom action research dengan melalui dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah umum Pendidikan Agama Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan flipped classroom dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat meningkatkan literasi keberagamaan mahasiswa pada dimensi keyakinan, dimensi praktik, dimensi pengetahuan, dan dimensi pengamalan. Penerapan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis flipped classroom juga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran mahasiswa, mahasiswa memperhatikan pembelajaran secara seksama, aktif berpartisipasi dalam diskusi, aktif mengajukan pertanyaan dan memberikan pendapat, serta mengerjakan tugas-tugas yang telah diberikan. Di samping itu, penerapan flipped classroom juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

The low learning ethic of the participants in the learning process who was brave throughout the Covid-19 pandemic was shown by the attitude of students who did not appreciate the learning process, even they had fun in their world (such as playing games, streaming Youtube, sleeping, travelling) without a teacher. Who is explaining the material. No, this problem is also experienced by teachers at the Nurul Huda Islamic boarding school, Bekasi, where they develop their capacity as teachers in an active, innovative, creative, fun, happy and meaningful (Paikem Gembrot) learning process and increase the learning ethos of students through the use of learning media. Based on this, the community service activity of the community partnership program (PPM PkM) provides soft skills support for teachers through learning media development activities through 1) training and assistance in developing Hot Potatoes learning media for teachers to provide soft skills strengthening in its efforts to improve student's learning ethos ; (2) implementing mentoring for teachers to find out their understanding of the material presented; (3) provide a forum for teachers to develop learning models and approaches that can support the improvement of students' learning ethos.
