Abstract

The purpose of this articel is to describe the role of zakat for empowering of receiver. The Implementation of zakah has social capital and civic engagemen. Social capital is a variety of entities having two characteristic in common: they all consist of some aspect of a social structure and they facilitate certain actions of individuals who are within the structure, social capital inheres in the structure of relations between person and among persons. It is lodged neither in individuals nor in physical implements of production. Civic Engagement has value derivation,namely  (i) empathy, (ii) reciprocity, (iii) generosity, (iv) moral obligation, (v) social solidarity, (vi) public trust, dan (vii) public spirit. The dynamics occurred due to culture, politics of goverment and elite authoriry from any organizations.

Abstract

Nirok Nanggok is a tradition of Belitung people in rural areas conducted during long dry seasons, as rivers and swamps dry up. Nirok Nanggok is a fishing activity using Tirok (a kind of spiky pointed iron spear) and Tanggok (a kind of small net with wooden handle). This activity is usually carried out by one village led by a shaman who led the way the event. Nirok Nanggok is a mass fishing event that is still implemented by the people of Kembiri Village in the Southern part of Belitung Island until now. This event is only held during the long dry season between September and October. This ritual is a form of local wisdom in preserving river ecosystems because fishing is done in rivers that have been determined and regulated by a shaman.

Abstract

This article focuses on the study of the government's political will in Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) policy. The purpose of this study is trying to understand the form of political will of the central government in poverty alleviation through PKH policies. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods that take research objects at the district level. The findings of this study can be classified into the following: First, poverty alleviation policies through PKH correlate with improvements in the standard of living of people in terms of education, economics, and health. Second, the implementation of PKH which aims to improve the socio-economic welfare of Very Poor Households is still loaded with political interests. Third, the government's political will is still limited to aspects of policy and not yet optimal in aspects of its implementation. This study concludes that the government's political will is not correlated with increasing the welfare of beneficiaries from very poor households.

Abstract

The article studies the Impact of Cash Transfer on Family’s attitude and Social-Economy Development. The methodology of this study is mix methodology. Theoritical framework of this study is new institutionalism. The exercise field of this study is receiver of cash transfer in West Java and Bali. The paradigm of this research is departed from social fact and verstehen as the way of understanding and appreciation of a phenomenon socially, culturally, and economy in a deep consideration. A discourse on ideal type concept is a part of the study on ‘objectivity’ in the social scientific world. Ideal type conception directs a sociologist in developing his/her capability through guidelines to construct a hypothesis. Ideal type is hint a picture of reality but more to the aim of describing an ambiguous ‘means of expression’ in the picture. Empirical research attempts to comprehend a social phenomenon placing the observed events or actions with one or more ideal types. This study finds that capital, especialy social and economic capital, would be main key of cash transfer for success maintaining and developing societies. Quantity and Quality of capital decide opportunity for success and reward (trust) which is received. In other side, the form of Cash Transfer in economic action is mutual effect. Institutionalization of cash trasfer governance will impact on family’s attitude and copyng mecanism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study identifies and explain the influence of destitution with level criminality in Bandung City. This study used the theory of Jeman Sociologist “Ralf Dahrendorf” that explains about Theory Social Conflict. Social conflict occurs within society because of imbalance in operating of social activities people. This study used a quantitative approach, for the type is case study research. Destitutions level,  action criminality level so much, and the other way. Can be concluded the prosperous destitution people, with the result that action criminality level will be the decrease

Abstract

This writting describes about interaction between one trader to other trader. In the interaction, both of them have unique relation. In the fact, the relation among them is based on personal trust. This study use descriptive methode in qualitative approach. The result of study is the key to the success of a cooperation is strongly influenced by mutual trust that is raised by all parties involved. The sustainability of a cooperation is strongly influenced by the size of the degree of confidence (radius of trust) that is established among the parties involved. Cooperation will be easy to do and can last long if it builds a high value/norm of trust. Conversely cooperation will be easily destroyed even not formed at all if in it has a value/norm of trust is low. Thus the high level of cooperation is very inhern with how much value/norm of trust formed between the parties involved in cooperation

Abstract

Religious understanding is often with people and people using key words. The religious view of the teacher, the interpretation, and the context that surrounds it. Therefore, understanding can produce results from many literal and loud individuals or groups in understanding religion in a social, political, and religious context. This study aims to determine the ideology for the radical attitude of pesantren in Tasikmalaya. The result of this research concludes that the ideology factor has significant effect on radicalism aligned by the leadership of pesantren in Tasikmalaya. Ideological factors against radicalism in the leader of pesantren leaders in Tasikmalaya by 32% are being released by 68% by other variables not examined in this study such as economy, education, revenge and others.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the model of character development of santri in Pesantren Persis 67 Benda Tasikmalaya West Java. Data collection method used in field research with the qualitative approach with observation data and in-depth interview. The results showed that: First, character development of santri lies in the process of teaching, habituation, and enforcement of rules. Secondly, the teaching model provides development not only in the curriculum that combines the curriculum content of the ministry of religions, the curriculum content of the ministries of education and culture, and the content of the local curriculum, but also contains principles that the teacher (ustadz) considers in curriculum development, namely: the proximity of the relationship between the learning material and the occurring phenomenon), the principle of flexibility (the developed curriculum must have the space for freedom of action, choosing the educational program, and the flexibility in the development of the learning program), the efficiency principle (effort, cost, time, which is used in the learning process must be strict), the principle of effectiveness (curriculum planning can be achieved in accordance with predetermined desires), the principle of continuity (curriculum development shows the relationship between education level, type of education, education program and field of study). Third, habituation is oriented to apply the value of independence and the value of responsibility. Fourth, enforcement of rules is implemented not to give physical sanctions, but rather more motivational.

What began with elevated losses on US subprime mortgages has spread beyond the borders of the United States and the confines of the mortgage market. Many of the world’s leading investment banks have collapsed as a result. Depression, a thing of the past, has made a striking comeback. Will it come back again in the future? Who is to blame? Abstract

This article focuses on the social capital of local communities in the development of halal tourism. This article aims to understand the social capital of local communities in their efforts to develop halal tourism in Bandung, West Java. The paradigm approach used is qualitative with the method of extracting data in-depth interviews and documentation review methods. This research found that the potential of local communities in the development of halal tourism lies in the trust and values ​​that develop in the community. Trust is focused on the emergence of expectations from the community towards the management of sharia-based tourism objects. While values ​​are inherent in positive local virtues in tourism development. This study concludes that halal tourism correlates with the expectations and values ​​that develop in local communities.
