Abstract

Kegiatan uji kompetensi keahlian di SMK SMKS Teknologi Industri Pinggir merupakan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan diakhir masa studi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan siswa pada bidang keahlian Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP). Kegiatan ini melibatkan dosen yang berperan sebagai pengawas dan bertanggungjawab dalam mengevaluasi hasil kerja praktik siswa yang disebut asesor. Kegiatan PKM ini menggunakan metode pengawasan dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat kemampuan siswa setelah mengikuti uji kompetensi keahlian diperoleh hasil dengan kriteria nilai berdasarkan kriteria Aspek Pengetahuan 30%, Aspek Keterampilan 70% dan Skor Keseluruhan. Peserta 1 mendapatkan skor 91, peserta 2 skor 85, peserta 3 skor 85, peserta 4 skor 93, peserta 5 skor 92, peserta 6 skor 95 dan peserta 7 skor 93. Dengan demikian, kesimpulan dari kegiatan ukk ini adalah seluruh peserta memiliki kompetensi untuk pada bidang keahlian Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP).

Abstract

The selection process for scholarship recipients in higher education requires a measurable system. The problem that has been happening is that the procedures carried out by the scholarship provider still use a manual file examination system. Composite performance index is the method used in this study. The purpose of this study is to create a decision support system for the selection of scholarship recipients to be more systematic and time efficient in the process. There are 10 alternatives and 4 criteria, namely parental income, GPA, electricity usage ,and semesters. The results of this study were obtained 5 highest values are A7 t with a value of 235.00 rank 1, A4 with a value of 200.00 rank 2, A1 with a value of 134.14 rank 3 sequences, A5 with a value of 120.00 ranks 4, and A8 with a value of 91.67 sequences 5.

Abstract

Fires can occur due to uncontrolled activities such as short circuits, littering of cigarette residues, gas leaks, human carelessness and natural factors that cause fires to appear. This research aims to design a prototype fire detector using a flame sensor to detect fire and an MQ-2 sensor to detect smoke and gas based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller. When these sensors detect the presence of fire, smoke and gas objects, the Buzzer and LEDs that have been programmed into indicators will be active as an early warning that a fire has occurred. The results of the tests that have been carried out in this study are the Arduino Uno Microcontroller works well to perform data processing. Testing the flame sensor at a distance of 5-25 cm causes the alarm to sound and the LED lights up as an indicator that the sensor is functioning in detecting hotspots. The MQ-2 sensor successfully detects the presence of smoke and gas at a density value of 760-775ppm. So this tool can help in providing a fire warning.

Abstract

Weak security systems in a house provide opportunities and opportunities for other people who are not entitled to take and steal valuables for homeowners. Based on these problems, research was carried out by making a home security system using a passive infrared receiver sensor and an Arduino-based sms gateway. The system is designed using electronic devices such as Arduino Microcontroller as data processing, PIR sensor to detect movement in the house, buzzer as an alarm and GSM 900 A module as a communication medium in the form of SMS which is connected to the homeowner's cell phone. This system works when the PIR sensor (Passive InfraRed Receiver) detects a human entering the house and then Arduino sends data in the form of an alarm from the buzzer and sends a danger sign in the form of SMS (Short Message Service). The results of the research conducted on the PIR sensor with a distance of 30-150 cm on the object movement caused an alarm to sound originating from the buzzer and SMS notifications were also successfully sent to the homeowner every time there was movement or an open door detected by the PIR sensor. This research shows that technology can be a solution to prevent crime, especially at home through a home security system using PIR sensors and SMS Gateway

Abstract

The problem that often occurs is forgetting to turn off the lights when you want to leave because you are in a hurry, as a result the lights stay on and there is a waste of electricity. This research was conducted with the aim of designing an Automatic Light Turning Control System Using the FC-04 Sound Sensor Based on Arduino Uno. When the Sound Sensor FC-04 detects the input of two hands clapping, the relay will give current to the light object so that it turns on automatically. The results of the tests that have been carried out are that the Arduino Uno Microcontroller works well for processing data. Testing the FC-04 Sound Sensor with a distance of 50-200 cm from the input in the form of the sound of applause causes the light to turn on as an output that the sensor functions to detect vibration frequency waves. In addition, the relay device also works well as a regulator of the electric power supply for the lamp so that the lamp can turn on or on. So that this tool can help humans turn off the lights so they no longer have to move closer to the lights and press existing buttons to be able to turn on or turn off the lights, but can be controlled through voice commands of applause.

Abstract

Higher education in Indonesia has several programs to help reduce the burden on students, one of which is through a scholarship program. Scholarships given can be obtained with the terms and conditions that apply at each university. Mitra Gama Institute of Technology is one of the private universities in the province of Riau which always runs a scholarship aid program. The problem that has been happening so far is that the procedures carried out are still using a document checking system without involving a weighting system and the right criteria and time constraints have always been an obstacle in determining scholarship recipients. This research was conducted as a solution to create an innovation in the form of making a computerized decision support system using criteria and weight values ​​so that scholarship recipients are on target. Composite performance index is the method used in this study. The purpose of this research is to create a decision support system for the selection of scholarship recipients to be more systematic and time efficient in the process. There are 5 alternatives used and 4 criteria, namely parents' income, GPA, electricity consumption and semester. The results of the research carried out were obtained the 5 highest composite index values, namely MHS4 with a value of 200.00, MHS1 with a value of 134.14, MHS5 with a value of 120.00, MHS3 with a value of 87.00 and MHS2 with a value of 85.71.

Abstract

Uji Kompetensi Keahlian (UKK) adalah suatu proses pengumpulan data untuk mengukur kompetensi peserta didik pada kompetensi produktif yang dilakukan terhadap peserta didik kelas XII pada satuan pendidikan SMK. UKK diselenggarakan oleh Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi atau satuan pendidikan terakreditasi bersama mitra dunia usaha/industri. Aspek yang dinilai adalah aspek pengetahuan dan aspek keterampilan. Pengabdian Masyarakat merupakan salah satu dari Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi yang wajib dilakukan oleh seorang dosen. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan melalu kegiatan UKK dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pencapaian pengetahuan dan kompeten siswa SMKS Teknologi Industri Pinggir pada bidang Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran dan sebagai dasar mempersiapkan siswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian terhadap 15 peserta diperoleh 3 orang siswa dengan nilai akhir tertinggi yaitu 98. Sehingga para peserta berhasil memiliki kompetensi pada bidang keahlian Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP) dan diharapkan bisa bermanfaat di dunia usaha maupun dunia industri.
