Abstract

The ideal soil temperature and humidity in red chilli pepper seedling is very important in the growth of the plant. The cultivation of red chili plants in greenhouses is very good, because the environment in greenhouses can be manipulated according to the needs of the plants. The ideal temperature for red chili breeding is 25oC to 27oC, for soil moisture drainage and aeration must be maintained during growth. Red pepper plants can grow well in moisture 50% to 70%, irregular soil moisture can cause rooting disease and root decay in plants. Cultivation of plants in greenhouses can maintain the nursery process, because the plants can be cultivated in accordance with the Operational Procedure Standards (SOP). Generally the farmers in breeding of red pepper is done in a trational way. In the process of temperature control and soil moisture using fuzzy method where the system can work automatically, which can facilitate the work of farmers in seeding plants from uncertain environmental conditions outside. In the measurements that have been done can be taken conclusion percentage error mean temperature from setpoint which have been set at the time in the morning equal to 2,48%, at noon equal to 9,79% and at night equal to 1,93%. Then each addition of 1 second watering, soil humidity rise up to 0.067%.

Abstract

In designing this device, the rice thresher will be lighter, so it will be easier in lifting, simpler in using so farmers as main users will easier in operating this instrument with featuring speed controllable by applying fuzzy method, and also no fossil fuels used because it utilize sunshine as green energy to drive DC motor. Solar cells are used to absorb sunshine in rice thresher machine because it easier in maintenance. The test results of the rice thresher machine is the reduction of the avarage motor speed by 195 rpm every each five rice straws, in the other hand the maximum electric current is needed to spin the rice threser  is 6 ampere and minimum electric current is 2.2 ampere. Furthermore, to stabilize motor speed at 2000 rpm, the avarage time required is 6 seconds when this machine loaded with rice straws. The eficiency of the rice thresher machine is 96%, it mean the avarage time to thresh the rice is 9 rice straws every each seconds.

Abstract

Visual inspection becomes an important role when determining the quality of the conditions of production. Manual visual inspection carried out by relying on human senses, especially the eyes, the weakness is perspective and human's perspective may be different from each other, the quality result can be different. Utilization of the camera as a sensor and computer system as a major component of decision-making is the latest technology that is used as an automatic visual inspection replace human tasks. This research aims to make a visual inspection system that utilizes a web camera and mini PC (personal mini computare) Raspberry PI to identify disability packaging beverage cans. The system that is made has been tested to identify defects tin side of the inner surface of the cover packaging of canned drinks without color or silver color. The result is, the system is able to distinguish defective cans and the cans that are not defective with an accuracy of 66, 67%. We hope this research can be developed at a later stage so that automatic a visual inspection can be realized.

Abstract

Banyaknya tambak ikan air tawar yang terdapat di daerah limau Manis Kecamatan Pauh Kota Padang ini disebabkan adanya bendungan air yang dibuat pemerintah untuk pengairan sawah sehingga dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk berkolam ikan air tawar baik didepan rumah maupun diladang yang tidak produktif, karena sumber air berlimpah sehingga kebutuhan akan air bagi petani tambak ikan di limau manis kecamatan Pauh Kota Padang tidaklah menjadi masalah. Namun permasalahan akan terjadi bila hujan turun dimana air pada bendungan akan meningkat sehingga ini akan meningkatkan jumlah debet air yang masuk pada kolam ikan, ini menjadi permasalahan bagi petani tambak karena ikan akan mudah mati, ikan akan keluar dan juga ikan akan berpenyakit disebabkan banyaknya debet air dalam kolam di karenakan air keruh. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut saya mencoba membuat sebuah alat menggunakan mikrokontroler yang dapat diatur menggunakan keypad dan mengontrol level air menggunakan sensor ultrasonik serta tingkat kekeruhan air pada kolam air deras ditampilkan pada LCD secara otomatis dengan cara mengatur buka tutup pintu keluar air kolam sehingga tinggi level air kolam dapat diatur sesuai kebutuhan. Cara mengatur posisi motor DC dapat dimanfaatkan dengan menggunaakan mikrokontroler agar petani tambak ikan air deras dapat memantau kondisi air pada kolam dan juga dapat mengatur ketinggian air yang akan masuk keluar kolam secara otomatis, guna meningkatkan hasil panen ikan serta mencegah kematian ikan akibat kondisi air yang tidak baik

Abstract

Busy activities such as work, out of town, holidays with family make it difficult to feed fish done well because farmers can not always be near the pond. In addition to the erratic weather that can reduce the quality of pond water so that the dose of feed must be adjusted again from the normal dose. Fish feed can be done automatically by making feeder equipment scheduled and measured using RTC, keypad and LCD as an interface with the user. And measured using a screw rotation and encoder in order to know the number of thread rotation is done. After testing, it was found that this tool can provide fish feed on schedule with an average dose of 302.6 g per 100 thread turns with a lot of feed errors coming out by 1.03% in an interval of 5.77 seconds.

Abstract

Penggunaan joystick sebagai kendali kursi roda elektrik tidak sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan penggunanya. Ahli klinis menyatakan bahwa ada 85 % pasien setiap tahunnya tidak bisa menggunakan kursi roda elektrik disebabkan oleh minimnya keterampilan menggunakan kursi roda bermotor, masalah kekuatan fisik dan masalah ketajaman penglihatan, pergerakan motor yang diskrit dan kasar serta cenderung memiliki pergerakan yang tidak akurat sesuai dengan target yang diinginkan.  Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, maka pada  penelitian ini digunakan kontrol logika fuzzy sebagai pengatur pergerakan motor kursi roda elektrik sehingga pergerakan kursi roda elektrik diharapkan sesuai dengan target yang diinginkan penggunanya. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian modul voice recognition memiliki persentase keberhasilan 82.85% dalam mengenali semua perintah yang diberikan. Sedangkan lama  waktu sistem mencapai nilai  set point  45º adalah 3,24 detik, set point  90º adalah 4,29 detik, set point -45º adalah 3,03 detik, set point -90º adalah 4,43 detik dan set point 180º adalah 5,35 detik.Kata kunci: Kursi Roda Elektrik, Fuzzy Logic, Voice Recognition

Abstract

The method for observing urine color to diagnose a disease of patient has done so far. The visual observation with human eyes has done to study and analyze human urine color and detect the connected disease. Human vision lately can be replaced with computer visual system or other sensor or camera to detect that color. The color of object is composed by two color components, they are frequency and spatial domain. Therefore, each color has wavelength and form in number of frequency. Color censor TCS 3200 produces output signals with different frequency based on scanned color through photodiode of the censor. Recognizing of the object in the form of shape, color and other variables of the object. Feature extraction is obtain from the data pattern as well as histogram. This research aims generate histogram and urine color pattern according to patient situation indication. The use of color reference is main color urinalysis, the result of method at Cleveland in Ohio in 2013. Based on the research, the pattern and color histogram were obtained in different style found in detected different urine color. This research would contribute to help identification process of diseases based on urine color thorough online.

Abstract

A corn planting tool has been made by controlling spacing and seed quality based on size. The aim of this research is to make a prototype corn planting tool with plant spacing and seed quality control based on microcontroller controlled size. The research method starts from making a prototype, and measuring system performance. The results of measuring the performance of the tool are indicated by an error in the reading of the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor at a point of 2 cm with an error value of 10% which is close to the actual measurement value, while for reading the distance on the ultrasonic sensor at a point > 2 cm it can be said to be constant to the actual distance. The test results of the BTS7960 motor driver work according to the system work description and are able to control the pulse width modulation (PWM) and the direction of rotation of the DC motor properly. The 28BYJ-48 stepper motor can operate the seed rationing system properly and accurately to rotate the motor at an angle of 90o takes 30 seconds. Overall the tool can function properly. Suggestions for further research, can be added monitoring of corn planting results based on the Internet of Things (IoT).

Abstract

Kerjasama dan kegiatan yang akan dilakukan adalah pada salah satu madrasah di lingkungan Kantor Kementerian Agama yaitu MTsN 3 Kota Padang. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh MTsN 3 Kota Padang adalah sekolah ini belum memiliki unit program robotik dan masih terbatasnya kemampuan/kompetensi para guru khususnya guru yang nantinya akan membimbing siswa pada unit program ini. Sedangkan berdasarkan surat ketetapan yang dikeluarkan oleh Kepala Kantor kementerian Agama Kota Padang yang menyatakan bahwa mulai tahun 2021 Program Robotik merupakan salah satu program unggulan Madrasah di lingkungan Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Padang baik di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) maupun madrasah Aliyah (MA). Oleh karena itu berdasarkan diskusi dan surat yang diajukan oleh kepala sekolah MTsN 3 Kota Padang kepada Pimpinan Politeknik Negeri Padang (PNP), sekolah berkeinginan segera merintis unit program robotik ini. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini dilakukan upaya kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru dan siswa agar unit program robotik yang akan dirintis dapat berjalan dengan baik. Pada tahap awal ini fokus pada kegiatan dapat membuat karya inovasi sederhana yang berhubungan dengan Robotik diantaranya pengenalan robot, komponen pendukung robot serta pembuatan program robot sederhana. Peningkatan kompetensi guru dan siswa merupakan target luaran utama yang ingin dicapai. Indikatornya adalah munculnya unit program robotik sebagai salah satu ekstrakulikuler siswa sehingga akan muncul kreatifitas-kreatifitas baru baik dari guru maupun siswa.

Abstract

The types of inputs and outputs of a control system that exist today are quite varied with their respective advantages and disadvantages that can be adapted to existing needs. So with the complexity of the system, the price is also very expensive. As one option to overcome this problem is to utilize Highway Addressable Remote Transducer (HART) data through the application of the HART Concentrator System (HCS). HART data has four variables, namely Primary Value (PV), Secondary Value (SV), Third Value (TV) and Fourth Value (FV). All this data can be sent simultaneously to HCS and collected. Then the data on the HCS will be sent via RS485 serial communication to the Modbus Gateway TCPIP. At this Modbus TCPIP gateway, Modbus data can be sent via an Ethernet network so that it can be accessed flexibly by SCADA.
