Abstract

Pemahaman akan teknologi sangatlah dibutuhkan seorang guru saat ini agar mampu bersaing pada era MEA . Information Communication Technologi (ICT)  adalah salah satu bidang kajian yang beberapa tahun kebelakang mulai berkembang di negara kita dan telah banyak diimplementasikan dalam berbagai bidang Beberapa hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan pula bahwa pembelajaran berbasis ICT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi pada siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon guru biologi terhadap pemanfaatan ICT dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keseluruhan guru yang menjadi sampel  merasa tertarik dengan pemanfaatan ICT dalam proses pembelajaran,  dengan tingkat ketertarikan berada pada katagori kuat (74,73%), hal ini dapat berarti bahwa pemanfaatan ICT dalam proses pembelajaran akan semakin meningkat.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Biologi berbasis e-learning menggunakan Joomla dan Wondershare Quiz Creator yang valid, efektif, dan praktis, pada materi sistem ekskresi. Tahap penelitian dan pengembangan mengacu model Gall et al., (2003) yang terdiri atas 5. Subjek penelitian adalah validator, siswa kelas XI IPA3 SMA Negeri 4 Makassar dan guru Biologi SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menguji validitas produk, memberikan tes hasil belajar, mengamati aktivitas siswa, mengumpulkan data respon siswa dan guru. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan hasil sebagai berikut: (1) Validitas mendapat kategori valid dari 3 validator; (2) 100% siswa memperoleh skor hasil belajar di atas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) sebesar 75 pada Tes Evaluasi; (3) Sebanyak 6 dari 7 aktivitas yang diamati telah memenuhi kriteria keaktifan; (4) Guru dan siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap produk. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid, efektif, dan praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi blended learning pada perkuliahan Biologi Dasar dalam bentuk media pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskrptif dengan pendekatan R & D. Pengembangan produk  berupa e-learning dilakukan dengan mengacu pada model instruksional ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA UNM  tahun akademik 2018/2019 pada mata kuliah Biologi Dasar. Data dikumpul dengan menggunakan lembar validasi dan angket. Data penelitian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian diperoleh media  e-learning mata kuliah Biologi Dasar yang telah divalidasi. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa blended learning mata kuliah Biologi Dasar memenuhi kriteri validitas dengan kategori sangat valid dan praktis dengan alamat laman www.muhiddin.web.id. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut,disarankan kepada dosen-dosen agar dapat menggunakan e-learning dalam perkuliahan.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to find out: the knowledge and the attitude of community environmental sanitation in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, and the maintenance of Community- based Communal Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, the relationship between environmental sanitation knowledge and maintenance of Community-Based Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, the relationship between knowledge of environmental sanitation and the maintenance of Community Based Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate subdistrict, Makassar City. This research was a quantitative descriptive research with applying a correlational approach. The population of this research was all household users from 10 locations of communal Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate District, Makassar City. The sampling technique was conducted by using purposive random sampling technique. The instruments of this research used knowledge tests, attitude questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of this research showed that the knowledge of environmental sanitation of user community and Communal IPAL administrators in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City is in the high category. and the knowledge are significantly related and positive direction with maintenance of Community-Based Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, it is influenced by education level and the socio-economic conditions are still low but if the knowledge and attitude of the community is good, then the maintenance of IPAL will also be good. Keywords: knowledge, environmental sanitation, maintenance of IPAL

Abstract

Abstract. This research is aimed to produce a Student Worksheet based Guided Inquiry on Digestive System material for class XI senior high school that is valid and practical. The type of this research is research and development (R & D). The development of this student worksheet used ADDIE models. The stages of ADDIE are Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate . The evaluation of this student worksheet is evaluated by two expert validators. The validity product of student worksheet based guided inquiry is obtained from expert validators with a validity score of 4,11 (valid). The practicality of the product is obtained from teachers response with a practicality score of 89.75 (very practical) and students response with a practicality score of 86.0075 (very practical). Based on the results, it can be concluded that the development of student worksheet based Guided Inquiry on Digestive System material for class XI senior high school is valid and practical. Abstract

Abstract. Healthy Clean-Living Behavior (PHBS) is carried out in order to realize a healthy life so as to prevent disease. The factors that cause the lack of people to behave in a healthy clean lifestyle are caused by their socioeconomic status. The socioeconomic status intended here is the level of education, type of work and income level. The purpose of this study was to determine how the condition of the socioeconomic status of the community and the behavior of healthy clean living in the community and to find out whether there is a relationship between socioeconomic status and healthy cleanliving behavior (PHBS) of the community in Pajukukang village, Maros district. This research is a correlation study. The sample taken was selected by cluster random sampling by taking a sample of 40 respondents per village. So that the overall sample of 120 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential data analysis. The relationship between education level and income level with PHBS was tested using Spearman rank, resulting in Asymp sig value. 0,000. Whereas the relationship of work type with PHBS was tested using contingency coefficients to produce Asymp sig. 0.010. Abstract

Abstract. One of the basic needs for every human being is health. The environment is one of important factor that greatly influences human health, because the environment is a place where humans do all their activities. Every effort made by humans to avoid dangerous waste materials with the aim of improving the quality of the environment is called sanitation. The purpose of this study was to determ ine the relationship between the socio-economic conditions of the community and sanitation. The research design used in this study was a correlational research design using the Spearman Rank analysis technique for variables of education level and income level, while the analysis of the relationship between types of work and sanitation was analyzed using Cramer's contingency coefficient analysis technique. Samples taken were randomly selected by using cluster random sampling technique with a total sample of 120 samples. The results showed that as many as 97 (80%) of respondents had a low level of education ie graduating from elementary school. In the sub-variable type of work, the type of work most frequently done was fishermen with 41 respondents with a percentage of 34.16%. In the income level sub-variable, the highest percentage was 58 (48.3%) of respondents in the low income category. Based on the results of the correlation test between the socioeconomic level sub variables with sanitation, the results obtained are there is a relationship between the level of education with sanitation with a syg value of 0.010, there is a relationship between the type of work with sanitation with a syg value of 0.007, and there is a relationship between the level of income with sanitation with syg value of 0.005.Keywords: Education level, type of job, income level, sanitation.

Abstract

Technological developments and the era of digitalization in the 21st century demand innovation in education, especially in the development of learning media, which is the basis behind this research. This research aims to develop an interactive e-module with ecosystem material based on the I-Spring application for class X SMA Negeri 5 Gowa which is valid and practical. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research subjects were biology subject teachers and class X students at SMA Negeri 5 Gowa. Data was collected through e-module validation sheets and teacher and student response questionnaires. The validity of the emodule was measured with a validity percentage of 4.39, while practicality was measured through the responses of teachers (91.45%) and students (88.81%), both of which indicated the very practical category.Keywords: E-module, R&D, ADDIE, Valid, Practical.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze: 1) socioeconomic conditions, environmental knowledge, environmental care attitudes, and the quality of the residential environment of the community around the market d, 2) the influence of socioeconomic conditions and environmental knowledge simultaneously on the attitude of caring for the environment of the community around the market 3) the influence of environmental conditions Simultaneous socioeconomic, environmental knowledge and environmental attitudes on the environmental quality of the community around the market, 4) indirect influence (through environmental care attitudes) socio-economic conditions on the environmental quality of the residential community around the market in Tamalate subdistrict, Makassar City, 5) indirect influence ( through environmental awareness) environmental knowledge on the environmental quality of the residential community around the market in the Tamalate sub-district, Makassar City. This type of research is an expost-facto research which is correlational. The population in this study were all heads of families (KK) who were in settlements around the market within a 500 meter radius in Tamalate District, Makassar City. Determination of the sample size using the Isaac and Michael table with an error rate of 5%, the research sample obtained was 556 households. Sampling of 25% of 556 households, namely 139 samples The results of the study show: 1) The socio-economic conditions of the residential communities around the market are in moderate qualification. Community environmental knowledge in low qualifications, community environmental care attitudes in negative qualifications tend to be positive, and community environmental quality in high qualifications, 2) There is a significant influence of socio-economic conditions and environmental knowledge together on environmental care attitudes, 3) There is influence of environmental conditions socio-economic, environmental knowledge and environmental care attitudes together on environmental quality, 4) Indirectly socioeconomic conditions through environmental care attitudes have a significant effect on environmental quality, 5) Indirectly environmental knowledge through environmental care attitudes has a significant effect on quality environment. Based on the results of the study, the suggestions put forward by the researchers are as follows: 1) It is hoped that the Government, specifically the Makassar city government, will improve socio-economic conditions, environmental knowledge through education and training both at the city level and at the sub-district level, 2) the Health Service to always conduct direct outreach to the community to increase environmental knowledge, 3) It is expected that the people in the city of Makassar to actively participate in environmental management so that the environment is more qualified.Keywords: socio-economic conditions, knowledge, attitudes, environmental quality

Abstract

Abstract. This research is a true-experimental research with posttest-only control group design which aims to determine the effect of guided discovery learning model on learning outcomes and scientific attitudes of class X students. The independent variable in this study is the learning model, while the dependent variable is learning outcomes and scientific attitudes. The samples of this study were students of MA Negeri 2 Soppeng class X MIA which were selected by random sampling with 15 students from class X MIA1 as the experimental class, and 15 students from class X MIA2 as the control class. The research data were obtained by giving posttest learning outcomes tests in the form of multiple choices to see student learning outcomes and a Likert scale questionnaire containing statements to see students' scientific attitudes. The data analysis technique is the independent sample T test. Based on the results of inferential statistics, the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.001, which was smaller than =0.05 for learning outcomes and the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000, which was smaller than =0.05 for scientific attitudes. It can be concluded that the application of guided discovery learning has an effect on student learning outcomes and scientific attitudes.Keywords: learning outcomes, scientific attitude, guided discovery, a true-experimental, posttest.
