Abstract

The objectives of the research are to investigate: (1) Whether the students taught with cooperative learning model STAD type has a better mathematics achievement than students taught with cooperative learning model Jigsaw type and conventional learning model and whether students taught with cooperative learning model Jigsaw type has the mathematics achievement better than students taught with conventional learning model on the subject of Two Variables System of Linear Equations, (2) Among the cooperative learning models STAD type, Jigsaw type and convensional learning model which produces better learning achievement when viewed from the students learning motivation, that is, low, medium and high. The research used a quasi-experimental research method. Its population was all of the students in Grade VIII of The State Junior High School in Surakarta city in the academic year of 2010/2011. The samples of the research were 283 students and were taken by stratified cluster random sampling technique. The data of the research were gathered through documentation, questionnaire, and test. The data of the research were analyzed by using a two-way analysis of variance with unequal cells, the pre-requisite of the analyzed using Lilieforss test for normality test, the homogeneity test used Bartletts test, at the significance level of (?) = 5%. The conclusion of this study are: (1) Students taught by STAD learning model has a better mathematics achievement than students taught by Jigsaw and the conventional learning model and students taught by Jigsaw learning model has the same mathematics achievement than students taught by the conventional learning model on the subject of Two Variables System of Linear Equations, (2) In each category of learning motivations, that is, high, low and medium, students taught by cooperative learning model STAD type has a better mathematics achievement than students taught by cooperative learning model Jigsaw type and the conventional learning model and students taught by cooperative learning model Jigsaw type has the same mathematics achievement than students taught by the conventional learning model. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki: (1) Apakah para siswa diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD memiliki prestasi matematika lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw kooperatif dan model pembelajaran konvensional dan apakah siswa diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw pencapaian matematika lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada subjek Dua Variabel Sistem Persamaan Linear, (2) Di antara model pembelajaran kooperatif jenis STAD, jenis Jigsaw dan model pembelajaran konvensional yang menghasilkan prestasi yang lebih baik belajar bila dilihat dari motivasi belajar siswa, yaitu rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi-eksperimental. Populasi adalah semua siswa kelas VIII dari Sekolah SMP Negeri di Kota Surakarta pada tahun akademik 2010/2011. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 283 siswa dan diambil dengan teknik cluster sampling stratified random. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis dua arah berbeda dengan sel tak sama, pra-syarat yang dianalisis menggunakan uji Liliefors untuk uji normalitas, uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Bartlett, pada tingkat signifikansi (?) = 5%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Siswa diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran STAD memiliki prestasi matematika yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan oleh Jigsaw dan model pembelajaran konvensional dan siswa diajarkan dengan model Jigsaw pencapaian matematika yang sama dari siswa diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional model pada subjek Dua Variabel Sistem Persamaan Linear, (2) Dalam setiap kategori motivasi belajar, yaitu, tinggi, rendah dan menengah, siswa diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD memiliki prestasi matematika yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran kooperatif model Jigsaw dan model pembelajaran konvensional, dan siswa diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw memiliki prestasi matematika yang sama dari siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to: (1) analyze the effect of principal managerial competence on the quality of education in public junior high schools throughout the city of Bima; (2) analyzing the influence of the supervisory competence of the principal on the quality of education in public junior high schools throughout the city of Bima; (3) analyzing the influence of the principal's social competence on the quality of education in public junior high schools throughout the city of Bima; and (4) analyze the dominant influence on the quality of education in public junior high schools throughout the city of Bima. Theoretically, the results of this research are expected to add insight into the study of science in the field of human resources and hopefully it can be used as a complementary reference for other similar studies in the field of human resources and the quality of education. Practically, the results of this study can provide input, among others, as material used in formulating policies in appointing school principals in a competency-based professional manner, and as material for further studies in the context of implementing school principals' performance evaluations in improving the quality of education in Bima Regency. The population of this study were all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) teachers with the lowest qualification rank/class III-c serving in public junior high schools throughout the city of Bima as many as 127 people and the research sample as many as 100 people after calculations using the Slovin formula and random sampling technique. After analyzing the validity and reliability of the instrument, the data was analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the study concluded that managerial competence in addition to having a positive and significant influence on the quality of education at state junior high schools throughout the city of Bima is also the variable with the most dominant influence on the quality of education. Supervision competence has a positive and significant influence on the quality of education in public junior high schools throughout the city of Bima, and social competence has a positive and significant influence on the quality of education in public junior high schools throughout the city of Bima. Therefore, the principal as a leader in the school must have and hone competence, especially managerial competence in developing the quality of education, including the supervisory competence and social competence of the principal.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengganggu proses pembelajaran secara tatap muka. Pembelajaran yang awalnya tatap muka beralih ke pembelajaran secara daring. Pembelajaran daring adalah sebuah proses pembelajaran berlangsung dengan tidak terjadinya kontak fisik seperti bentuk tatap muka langsung antara pendidik dan siswa Pembelajaran merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut. Daring dapat memberikan metode pembelajaran yang efektif seperti adanya umpan balik, menggabungkan kolaborasi kegiatan belajar mandiri untuk bekerja sama dalam kelompok serta menumbuhkan sikap sosial terhadap sesama peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dapat memberikan prestasi belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan metode Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) pada materi pokok Pengolahan Data kelas V SD yang dilakukan secara daring. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen quasi dengan rancangan treatment by level 2x3. Metode kooperatif TAI dan Metode kooperatif STAD Sedangkan Percaya diri tinggi, percaya diri sedang dan percaya diri tinggi. Sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 60 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui zoom cloud meeting atau google meet. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan tes pengetahuan, dan angket percaya diri siswa melalui google form. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:(1) Fhitung = 6,606 lebih besar dari Ftabel = 3,16 jadi terdapat pengaruh signifkan metode pembelajaran TAI terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD, (2) Fhitung = 6,606 lebih besar dari Ftabel = 3,16 jadi terdapat pengaruh signifikan metode pembelajaran STAD terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD. (3) Fhitung = 4,816 lebih besar dari Ftabel = 3,16 jadi terdapat pengaruh signifikan percaya diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD. (4) Fhitung 3,763 lebih besar Ftabel 3,16 jadi terdapat pengaruh signifikan metode TAI, STAD, dan percaya diri bersama sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD.

Abstract

Pendidik sudah semestinya dapat beradaptasi dalam menghadapi perkembangan dan perubahan teknologi saat ini. Namun perkembangan teknologi berkaitan dengan sumber belajar online belum dioptimalkan secara maksimal dalam proses pembelajaran yang efektif pada guru sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan kemampuan kepada guru Sekolah Dasar dalam memanfaatkan sumber belajar online dengan pendekatan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) sehingga dapat mengenali, memahami dan menggunakannya dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Kegiatan dilakukan secara daring dan mandiri. Kegiatan secara daring dilakukan dengan metode ekspositori, tanya jawab, praktik dan presentasi hasil. Kemudian kegiatan secara mandiri dilakukan dengan merancang perencanaan pembelajaran menggunakan sumber belajar online. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa guru terbantu dengan adanya pemberdayaan, guru sangat antusias mengikuti materi pemberdayaan dan tertarik untuk mengembangkan materi pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan sumber belajar online berbasis pendekatan TPACK serta adanya program lanjutan yang memberikan informasi dan pemanfaatan sumber belajar online yang mudah dipraktikkan di kelas.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the teacher competence through Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) training. The targets of this service program are elementary school teachers and twenty one junior high school teachers from various schools in South Tangerang. The service instrument used was a questionnaire with questions in the form of a Likert scale, then analyzed using descriptive analysis method. The result of this service shows that almost all participants agree and strongly agree that the TPACK material is useful for improving teacher competence. According to the teachers, after participating in the TPACK training, they can open their horizons to use learning programs that can be accessed through various learning resources. They even want to explore the material about TPACK. This is because TPACK is able to integrate pedagogic, content and technology elements in learning. After participating in the TPACK training, the teachers stated that they would try to apply TPACK in their classroom learning and try to choose learning strategies according to student needs. They even want to try to find sources of material from various learning resources related to TPACK.

Abstract

This study focuses on knowing the effectivity of direct learning models assisted number staircase media in mathematics learning for first grade students of SD, and describing the learning outcomes before and after being taught using the direct learning model models assisted number staircase media. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design one-group pretest-posttest model. The population in this study amounted to 73 students at SD Negeri 7 Sa'dan. The sampling technique in this study uses probability sampling with a cluster random sampling model. Data collection techniques are counting ability tests, observation of student activities. Based on the data analysis obtained the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 it was concluded that the direct learning model assisted by assisted number staircase media had an effect on the learning outcomes of the first graders of SD Negeri 7 Sa'dan. From the N-gain analysis, the N-gain value is 0.64865 and is included in the effective category.

Abstract

Now accessing videos on the internet so easy and today facilitates the learning process carried out by students. but the use of video as a medium for learning mathematics still needs to be analyzed for its effect on interest and learning outcomes obtained by elementary school students when learning is carried out. So, this experimental research aims to prove its effect. Data was collected using a questionnaire for learning interest and a test for learning outcomes which were both given before and after treatment. Data were obtained from 22 samples who were students of class Vc who were part of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 292 Inpres Karangan which were used as the population. Through a quantitative approach with statistical data, it will be analyzed parametrically using the t test by comparing students' interests and learning outcomes before and after learning using video media. The use of video presents interactive, fun and easy-to-understand visual information for students. This is evidenced by the t-test on learning interest. The average difference is 33.33, with a score of sig.(2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05. and the average difference in learning outcomes before and after learning is 50.45455, with a score of sig.(2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05. which shows that there is an effect of using video media on students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics

Abstract

Research on the design of an expert system to diagnose Mathematics Teaching Efficacy Beliefs (MTEB) using the Certainty Factor method was the first to be developed. The MTEB instrument was first initiated by Enoch and transformed into an expert system application using the paradigm of modified waterfall software development to sequential or sequential testing steps, ranging from analysis, design, coding, and testing. Data calculation and analysis using the certainty factor method assumes the user's choice is not exact and is at a certain interval. The weighting of expert values from MTEB items is carried out by two experts in the field of mathematics education.  Meanwhile, the weight of user consultation uses five approval options, namely strongly agree, agree, simply agree, disagree, and disagree, successively represented by -0.2, -0.1, 0, 0.1, and 0.2. The results of the study gave success to each page of the diagnosis application, and the accuracy rate of the MTEB diagnosis was about 98%. The implication of this research is recommendations for related stakeholders to be followed up so that the MTEB of mathematics teachers becomes even better.
