Abstract

This study entitled Analysis of Benefits of Education for Orang Laut Children Girls in the Panglima RajaVillage District of Concong, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The author is interested to examine the problem because of the low number of Orang Laut Children girls who enter the world of education. This study was conducted with the aim to find out whether for Orang Laut education girls it has benefits. This research uses Descriptive Quantitative research method, by using the formula: P = f / n x 100%. Population in this research is all Parent and daughter of Orang Laut which amount to 30 people, because this research is research population so entire population become sample in this research. While the data were collected using questionnaires, interviews and observations and research results indicated that the hypotheses in this study were accepted or proven, because 50% of girls thought education was less useful and this was reinforced by the preparation of Sutrisno Hadis opinion that the role was less if ranged from 0% -33.33%, While the magnitude of educational benefits for marine tribal girls based on research results Only 28.57%.

Abstract

This research is entitled Analysis of Education Role in Improving the Life Quality of the Orang Laut in the Panglima Raja Village, Concong Sub District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. Researchers are interested in researching because some of the Orang Laut who have studied, the quality of life is not better than fishermen.This research was conducted with the aim to find out how and whether education can improve the life quality of the Orang Laut. This research method is quantitative descriptive, with formula : P = f / n x 100%. The research population is all the Orang Laut Society that has passed the Education Process and has worked for 30 people, This type of research is population research, so the entire population becomes a sample in the study. Data collected through questionnaires, interviews, and later observations from the results of the study can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted or proven, this also answers the formulation of the problem, namely, how education changes the quality of life Orang Laut, the results of education only change thinking patterns and understanding of quality life but for the formulation of the problem Is education changing the quality of life of the Orang Laut, the results do not change the life quality of the Orang Laut this is proven by the percentage of 55%, According to Ridwan (2008: 88) the percentage of 55% is enough to state that education does not play a role. In addition, if examined based on Ridwan opinion, the number of tables stating that education plays only 25%, this number is a weak percentage, so it can be concluded that Education does not play a role in Improving the life Quality of the Orang Laut Society in the Panglima Raja Village, Concong Sub District, Indragiri Hilir Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance the role of lecturers general compulsory subjects (MKWU) Citizenship Education, because civic education courses aim to improve student nationalism. Lately, the nationalism of students has begun to fade in terms of behavior, speaking, dressing and being more selfish than common interests. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the role of the lecturer in civic education in improving the nationalism of students at the University of Riau.The method used in this research is Quantitative Descriptive, with a formula P=F/N X 100. Population in this study were all Riau University students, while the sample used Quota sampling which was 20 students per faculty, Riau University consisted of 9 faculties, which meant 180 students. Then the data was collected using questionnaires, interviews and observations.Results of the study showed that of the 12 indicators of the role of lecturers in improving nationalism that were asked to students all indicators had contributed to the respondents answers above 40% of each indicator

Abstract

This research aims to improve student results PPKn FKIP UR in the course of civil law, which is the subject of this research is the students of PPKn FKIP UR Semester III totaling 35 people composed of 11 men and 24 women. Process improvements in the research study will use a learning model Numbered Heads Together Structure to see its influence on learning outcomes. Activity faculty and students in the use of this model will be assessed by the observer.            Based on the results of the study showed that the activity of a lecturer in the first cycle with a score of 32 categories of "Perfect" and the increase in cycle II score of 36 in the category "very perfect". For students in the first cycle of activity score of 204 in the category "High" and the second cycle increased to 228 with the category of "very high". While the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle with the category of "Very High" as many as 7 people (20%) and "High" as many as 23 people (66%) increased in the second cycle category of "Very High" as many as 12 people (34%) and "High "as many as 17 people (49%). It can be concluded that the usage learning model Numbered Heads Together Structure can improve learning outcomes in subjects of Civil Law at the FKIP PPKn University of Riau.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the spread of covid-19 which has an impact on various aspects of life including the field of education. Online learning has both positive and negative impacts in the learning process. Ineffective online learning will cause students to tend to be lazy and forget about their learning responsibilities. In the context of education, learning responsibilities have a very important role in efforts to improve the effectiveness of online learning. In this study researchers examined the comparison of the character of student responsibility in online learning of PKn subjects between male and female students at Al Huda Pekanbaru High School. The method used in this study was a comparative and quantitative method. The population in this study was all students of class XII majoring in IPA and IPS at Al Huda Pekanbaru High School as many as 81 students, consisting of 29 male students and 52 female students. Sampling methods use sampling quota techniques. The sample taken in this study was 58 students. It consists of 29 men students and 29 female students. The data collection technique used in this study is to use observations and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study is to use statistical tests. The statistical test result was to compare two data groups namely male and female students with a result of 0.017 and a score of 0.017 < 0.05 (2-tailed < 0.05), then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that there is a difference in the character of responsibility in online learning of PKn subjects between male and female students at Al Huda Pekanbaru High School.Key Words: Comparison, Responsibility Character, Online Learning, Students.

Abstract

Pernikahan yang sukses akan ditandai dengan kesediaan untuk mengambil tanggung jawab antara kedua belah pihak. Begitu mereka memutuskan untuk menikah, mereka siap menanggung semua beban yang dibawa oleh pernikahan, baik itu mata pencaharian, pengasuhan, atau perlindungan, pendidikan, dan hubungan yang baik, singkatnya: tanggung jawab fisik dan mental. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui dampak perkawinan dibawah umur dan bagaimana keberlangsungan rumah tangganya. Metode penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan observasi. Adapun hasil penelitiannya adalah dampak pertama yaitu terjadinya perceraian, kedua ego masing-masing, ketiga terjadi konflik dalam rumah tangga.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the outbreak of pandemic cases caused by the Corona virus in Indonesia which resulted in learning activities that were usually carried out in schools now being carried out online from home. This research examines the comparison of learning motivation online between male and female students in civic education lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun. The formulation of the problem in this research is "Is there a comparison of learning motivation online between male and female students in civic education lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun?". To find out the comparison of online learning motivation between male and female students in civic lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun is the purpose of this research. This research was carried out at public Senior High School 1 Karimun from July 2021 to September 2021. This research is quantitative descriptive with a population of male and female students in class X majoring in science and social studies at Senior High School 1 Karimun as many as 313 people consisting of 143 male students. and 170 women. The sampling technique is using the method Nonprobability Sampling and the Quota Sampling technique to determine the number of samples using the Yamane formula so that the number of samples is 122 respondents, 59 male students and 63 female students. Data collection instruments are primary data and secondary data obtained through libraries and documentation. The data analysis technique used the analysis Independent Sample T-test with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. Based on the results of the study it was found that there was a comparison of learning motivation online between male and female students in class X majoring in science and social studies in civic lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun. It is proven by the results of the calculation with the analysis test Independent Sample T-test where the result of the test is 0.024 and the value is 0.024 < 0.05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a comparison of learning motivation online between male and female students in class X majoring in science and social studies in civic education lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun.Key Words: : Online Learning Motivation, Comparison, Students, Male, Female

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by a phenomenon that emerged based on the observation that since the implementation of the limited face-to-face learning policy due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many students experienced a decrease in discipline during the learning process, both in participating in learning in terms of collecting assignments and other things. there are still students whose test scores in Civics subjects are lacking or have not reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). However, students whose test scores or study results are lacking are not all also less disciplined. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of learning discipline on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Seberida. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of learning discipline on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Seberida. And practical benefits, namely as a reference material in carrying out further research that is relevant to this research. Determination of the sample in the study using purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data processing with quantitative descriptive statistical analysis using simple linear regression formula assisted by SPSS version 24 application. The hypothesis in this study is accepted, where there is an influence of learning discipline on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Seberida. This is based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.414 which implies that the influence of the independent variable (learning discipline) on the dependent variable (learning outcomes) is 41.4%.Key Words: Influence, Discipline, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract This research set on teachers’ social competence and social care character building in students of SMAN Binsus Dumai. The formulated research problem mentioned “how is the effect of teachers’ social competence on social care character building in students of SMAN Binsus Dumai”. This research sought to find out the effect of teachers’ social competence on social care character building in students of SMAN Binsus Dumai. The practical benefit for researchers is to increase knowledge and understanding of the world of education, leading to more enthusiastic participation at schools. The research population included eleventh grade students, totaling 200 students. The research samples were 50 students selected through the Proportional Random Sampling. Research data were collected by means of questionnaires, observations, interviews, and document studies. The data were then analyzed using a simple linear regression formula, assisted by SPSS version 16 application. The proposed hypothesis stated that there is an effect of teachers’ social competence and social care character building in students of SMAN Binsus Dumai. The results revealed that there is a significant effect of teachers’ social competence on social care character building in students of SMAN Binsus Dumai by 36.6%.Keywords: Effect, Teachers’ Social Competence, Students’ Social Care Character

Abstract

: This research was motivated by the interest of students majoring in Social Studies Education who studied at FKIP, Riau University. Where students pursuing higher education at the FKIP Faculty are supposed to be teachers, it turns out that not all students studying at FKIP are interested in becoming teachers. But there are several factors for them to study at FKIP Riau University. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the interest of students majoring in social studies in choosing FKIP at the University of Riau? And what are the factors that students choose FKIP at the University of Riau?. The purpose of this study is to find out how the interest of students majoring in Social Sciences in choosing FKIP at the University of Riau and to find out what are the factors that make students majoring in Social Sciences choose FKIP at Riau University. The benefit of the results of this study is a source of learning for all parties, especially for prospective students who want to continue their education to college by considering their interest in studying at a university. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the data collection instrument used in this research is a questionnaire consisting of 9 indicators with 19 statements. The population in this study were active students majoring in Social Studies Education, amounting to 939 people. The sample in this study was taken using the Non Probity Sampling technique, more precisely the quota sampling technique of 60 people. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that overall the data regarding the "Study of Interests of 60 samples of Social Studies Education Department Students Choosing FKIP at the University of Riau" is in the "Good" category. Respondents answered Strongly Agree (SS) plus Agree(S) namely 14.12% + 39.47% = 53.59%, this is in the range of 50.01%-75%. Thus, it can be concluded that the interest of 60 samples of Social Sciences Education Department Students in choosing FKIP at the University of Riau is at the "Good" level.Key Words: Interest, Student, FKIP
