Abstract

ABSTRACT: This review is phenomenalist –critical, reviewing the social structure of women in society which is in fact still a second person. However, the real form of their roles cannot be “overlooked”. Within this context, it takes a firm stance of the women to be “creative women.” Forms of creativity can be actualized in three forms, namely: action, caring and independent. Forms of action embodied in concrete measures undertaken. Care as the actualization of the attitude responsive to social conditions. Abstract

Qalb education (heart education) becomes one of the keys to cultivating and nurturing human characters. The focus of this research is to examine the concept of heart education from the perspective of KH. Sholeh Darat (1820-1903), the role of the heart in education, and the function of heart health in cultivating humans' characters. This research uses library research methods focusing on KH. Sholeh Darat’s Minhāju Al-Atqiyā'i fī Syarḥi Ma’rifati Al-Ażkiyā'i ilā Ṭarīqi Al-Auliyā'i using hermeneutic and historical approaches. The study found that the concept of heart education from KH. Sholeh Darat's perspective eliminates ignorance and seeks knowledge to make humans appreciate the understanding and implement it. Heart education is centered on two main things: mulāzamati al-Zikri (continuous dhikr) and mulāzamati tilāwati kitābullāh (continuous reading of the Qur'an). In addition, the physical transformation of education needs to be supported with humans' healthy and pure hearts. Heart therapies to support heart education include reading the Qur'an, emptying one's stomach, night prayers, tadharru' (pleading) at suhoor time, and mujālasah (gathering) with pious people. Lastly, noble teachers can accomplish heart education with perfect guidance (tarbiyatu al-shaykh al-mursyīd al-kāmil).

Abstract

Volunteering project is a social activity which has been done by youth in developing human resources in ‎their environment. It is a teaching activity that volunteers can teach  in school, that is Senior High School (SMA) ‎Theresiana Semarang. There are two kinds of class in this school, they are reular and imerci class which students in ‎imerci class understand and fluence in speaking English. This volunteering project uses teaching method such ‎conversation and public speaking. The aim of the activity is to help the students in developing their speaking ability ‎so that they can communicate using English. Hopefully, the students can speak fluently using English as their ‎provision in facing defiance of the globalization era whereas the competition of the human resources is increasingly ‎high.‎Keywords: Volunteers, Empowerment, Students, Local, Foreign

Abstract

The community has not utilized the abundant corncob waste in Air Terang Village. Corncob waste can be used as a medium for growing mushrooms. This program service aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the community in Air Terang Village, Tiloan District, Buol Regency in cultivating mushrooms from corncobs. The implementation of this service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this community service program is the community begins to understand and realize the use of corncob waste as a medium for growing mushrooms and can cultivate mushrooms from corncobs. Recommendations for the next service program are mushroom post-harvest processing and training on mushroom marketing strategies.

Abstract

Artikel jurnal ini mengeksplorasi penerapan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan abad ke-21 di kalangan siswa sekolah menengah. Menyadari tuntutan yang terus berkembang di dunia modern, penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana kurikulum berbasis kompetensi dapat secara efektif menumbuhkan keterampilan yang penting untuk sukses di abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, yang menggabungkan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk menilai dampak penerapan kurikulum. Ini mengkaji integrasi keterampilan penting seperti berpikir kritis, komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan kreativitas ke dalam kerangka pendidikan. Melalui observasi kelas, survei, dan penilaian siswa, penelitian ini mengevaluasi sejauh mana kurikulum berbasis kompetensi meningkatkan pengembangan keterampilan penting ini di kalangan siswa sekolah menengah. Artikel ini juga menggali tantangan dan peluang yang terkait dengan penerapan pendekatan berbasis kompetensi dalam pendidikan. Bab ini membahas pelatihan guru, alokasi sumber daya, dan adaptasi metode penilaian agar selaras dengan tujuan berorientasi kompetensi. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini menyoroti persepsi dan pengalaman pendidik dan siswa mengenai kurikulum baru. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada wacana yang lebih luas mengenai reformasi pendidikan dan pengembangan kurikulum. Rekomendasi diberikan kepada pembuat kebijakan, pendidik, dan perancang kurikulum untuk mengoptimalkan penerapan pendekatan berbasis kompetensi, memastikan bahwa siswa dibekali secara memadai dengan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi kompleksitas abad ke-21. Artikel ini berfungsi sebagai sumber berharga bagi akademisi, praktisi, dan pembuat kebijakan yang tertarik untuk meningkatkan praktik pendidikan guna memenuhi tuntutan lanskap global yang berubah dengan cepat.
