Until now there has been no research that to take advantage of Eleutherine palmifolia leaves waste into active substances in antiaging creams. Therefore it is necessary to conduct research to obtain cream preparations with waste active ingredients as antiaging. Waste extract has a very strong antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 45.33 ppm. One way ANOVA analysis that all cream had significantly different antioxidant attenuation (p < 0,05). Post Hoc analysis Formula III is a the formula with the damping antioxidant reduction the very biggest that is 63.84% ± 0.0891. From the results of the study, the waste of Eleutherine palmifolia leaves can be used as an alternative to anti-aging creams, which one of the efforts increased productivity of agricultural waste.

One type of adherence in the treatment of hypertension is adherence to taking drugs from health care facilities so that patients always have the availability of drugs to drink. The purpose of this study was to examine the adherence to taking antihypertensive drugs in patients with hypertension who were referred back at the Appo Farma Pharmacy Banjarmasin. The study used an observational design. Data collection was carried out retrospectively. Data were collected from patient prescriptions for referrals at the Appo Farma Pharmacy Banjarmasin in the period May-June 2022. A total of 123 samples were used in this study. The sampling method used simple random sampling technique. Data on adherence to drug taking was analyzed using the Medication Possession Ratio (MPR) method. The parameters of the MPR calculation results are divided into compliant categories if 80% and non-compliant if less than 80%. The research data is displayed descriptively. The results showed that the measurement of adherence to repeated drug taking with a period of 3 months and 6 months were both dominated by samples with the category of adherence to taking medication again with a total of 103 samples (83.74%). Based on these data, it can be concluded that the samples of hypertensive patients in this study were not all adherence in taking their antihypertensive drugs.

Abstract

Citrus reticulata is one of the varieties of citrus endemic to South Kalimantan. So far, the people of South Kalimantan have only used the pulp of the citrus fruit, while the skin is disposed of as waste. Therefore, this study was conducted to see the value of the benefits of the Citrus reticulata rind waste by testing the levels of flavonoids from the extract and its fractions. The rind extraction of Citrus reticulata was carried out by maceration method using methanol as a solvent. The extract obtained was then fractionated using the liquid-liquid method using n-hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, and water as solvents. The extract and each fraction were determined for the level of flavonoids using a UV-Visible spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 413 nm and a series of standard concentrations of quercetin 35; 50; 65; 80; and 95 ppm. The results showed that the levels of flavonoids from the highest to the lowest were in the water fraction, methanol extract, n-hexane fraction, ethyl acetate fraction, and chloroform fraction with the respective values of 53.635 ± 0.00697; 30.083 ± 0.00386; 15,524 ± 0.00423; 9.787 ± 0.00198%(w/w).
