Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan remedial teaching yang dilaksanakan oleh guru mata pelajaran matematika di SMP Negeri 1 Kadudampit terhadap ketuntasan belajar matematika peserta didik khususnya pada materi aritmatika sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Kadudampit. Subjek penelitian yaitu guru mata pelajaran matematika dan 4 peserta didik dengan penentuan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini meliputi: Reduksi Data, Penyajian data dan Penarikan Kesimpulan. Pada validasi data menggunakan Triangulasi Data yakni membandingkan antara hasil observasi dengan hasil wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah proses pelaksanaan remedial teaching yang dilaksanakan oleh guru mata pelajaran matematika di SMP Negeri 1 Kadudampit khususnya pada materi aritmatika sosial yaitu penelaahan kembali kasus dengan permasalahan, menentukan alternatif pilihan tindakan, melaksanakan remedial teaching, mengadakan pengukuran prestasi belajar kembali, mengadakan re-evaluasi dan remedial pengayaan dan atau pengukuran (tambahan).

Abstract

The purpose of this research are : 1) knowing the process of developing interactive with using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional media, 2) knowing the effectiveness of interactive learning with using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional media, 3). knowing the ability of students' mathematical understanding after using the Adobe Flash CS3 Professional media. The type of research is Research and Development (R & D) with One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The research was conducted at Mardi Waluya 2 Sukabumi Junior High School in the 2018/2019 semester event. The writer take the population of this study is on VII class. The sample used simple random sampling and for the instruments used were validation questionnaires media and tests. Data analysis techniques are using the Likert scale for validation questionnaires media, using the T test to determine effectiveness, and N-Gain to determine the increase in students' mathematical understanding skills. Interactive learning media are valued by media experts and material experts, with the results obtained that are valid so that they can be used in learning. The results of the effectiveness test are Thit (8.78)> T table (1,699) with a significant level used which is 5%. With high criteria of N-Gain test results are 75.61. Based on the results of these studies, interactive learning with using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional media can be effective in learning and can improve students' of mathematical understanding skills.

Abstract

This study was aims to determine the differences in students mathematical understanding abilities with using snowball throwing learning model compared to direct learning model, and to determine the effect of snowball throwing learning model on improving students' mathematical understanding abilities. The benefit of this study is to provide information about how big the effect of snowball throwing learning model on students' mathematical comprehension abilities. This study used a quasi-experimental method. The Population used in this study was class VIII students of MTs-Al-Musthofa with a total sample 60 people taken by random sampling technique. The instrument that used in this reseacrh is test intrument mathematical comprehension ability consisting of 5 items essays. The results of the study showed that: 1) the ability of students' mathematical understanding using the snowball throwing learning model was better than the direct learning model. 2) There was an increase in the students' mathematical understanding ability using the snowball throwing learning model.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study discusses how to improve students' abilities after using a problem-based learning model in mathematics learning material. This type of research is quantitative research. Quantitative research consists of experimental methods and survey methods. In this study using the experimental method. The experimental method used to find interaction. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with class 2 research taken from class VIII SMP in one of the cities of Sukabumi. The research sample used cluster random sampling technique. The research design used in this study was the design of the pretest-posttest control group. The instrument used in this study is essay questions as many as 6 items which have been declared valid and reliable. Based on the prerequisite test of the data produced by the research data, it is not normally distributed so that further testing is carried out, namely the mann-withney test. From the data analysis, the average posttest value of the experimental students with the problem based learning learning model was 18,24 and the average score of the posttest control class students without using the problem based learning learning model was 15,17. There is a significant difference in student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the mann-withney test so this study rejects H0 and accepts H1. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes in mathematical punishment abilities of students who use learning by using problem-based learning models on the material to get a flat side space.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis sangat penting karena menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam dunia pendidikan pada abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dalam menyelesaikan soal sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif serta teknik pengumpulan data berupa pemberian tes serta wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 orang siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Kota Sukabumi yang dikategorikan berdasakan tingkatan kemampuan awal matematika, yaitu siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi, siswa dengan kemampuan sedang, dan siswa dengan kemampuan rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi dan kemampuan sedang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada tingkat 3 (kreatif) memenuhi aspek fluency dan flexibility, dan siswa dengan kemampuan rendah memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada tingkat 1 (kurang kreatif) memenuhi aspek fluency.

Abstract

Kemampuan Pemecahan masalah matematis sangat penting karena merupakan salah satu kompetensi utama yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam proses berpikir matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis ditinjau dari tingkat self-efficacy siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa pemberian angket self-efficacy, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 orang siswa kelas VII C SMP IT Adzkia dengan tingkat self-efficacy tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) siswa dengan tingkat self-efficacy tinggi memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kategori tinggi dan memenuhi seluruh indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah yakni memahami masalah, menyusun rencana penyelesaian, menyelesaikan masalah sesuai perencanaan, dan memeriksa kembali. (2) siswa dengan tingkat self-efficacy sedang dan rendah memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kategori sedang. Adapun perbedaannya siswa dengan tingkat self-efficacy sedang memenuhi 2 indikator yakni menyusun masalah sesuai perencanaan dan memeriksa kembali, sedangkan siswa dengan tingkat self-efficacy rendah memenuhi satu indikator yakni memahami masalah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran adaptif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu desain penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa pemberian tes dan wawancara.  Pengambilan subyek penelitian ini adalah 6 siswa kelas VIII SMP. Pengambilan subjek pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah reduksi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pada soal HOTS dengan indikator mengajukan dugaan, subjek  dengan kemampuan penalaran adaptif matematis tinggi dan rendah mampu mengajukan dugaan. Berbeda dengan  subjek yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran adaptif rendah tidak mampu mengajukan dugaan, 2) Pada soal HOTS dengan indikator memberikan alasan terhadap suatu kebenaran, subjek dengan kemampuan tinggi dan sedang mampu memberikan alasan terhadap suatu pernyataan dengan benar. Berbeda dengan subjek berkemampuan rendah yang tidak dapat memberikan alasan terhadap sebuah pernyataan, 3) Pada soal HOTS dengan indikator menarik kesimpulan pada sebuah pernyataan, subjek berkemampuan tinggi dan sedang mampu menunjukkan penyelesaian dengan memberikan kesimpulan yang benar dan lengkap. Berbeda dengan subjek berkemampuan rendah yang belum mampu mengerjakan soal tersebut dengan benar, 4) Pada soal HOTS dengan indikator memeriksa kesahihan suatu argumen, subjek dengan kemampuan tinggi dan sedang mampu mengecek kesahihan suatu argument dengan menunjukkan letak kebenaran atau kesalahan secara lengkap. Berbeda dengan subjek dengan kemampuan rendah yang tidak mampu mengecek kesahihan suatu argument, 5) Pada soal HOTS dengan indikator menemukan pola pada suatu gejala matematis, subjek berkemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah belum mampu menemukan pola dari suatu gejala matematis

Abstract

The effectiveness of implementing online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has not been satisfactory in terms of problem-solving abilities. The presentation of teaching materials presented in the online platforms used has not been able to identify the extent of student understanding in problem-solving exploration. Therefore, this research aims to produce Kaizala teaching materials based on problem-solving exploration. The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model was used in this research to produce these teaching materials. The subjects of this research trial were grade VIII junior high school students in a public school in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, Palembang. The choice of the place for this research was based on the fact that the mathematics learning carried out at the school was by utilizing social media platforms. The instruments used in this research consisted of validation sheets of material, language, presentation, and problem-solving integration, a questionnaire on the practicality of teaching materials, and a problem-solving ability test to assess the effectiveness of the developed teaching materials. The results showed that: (1) the developed teaching materials were in the valid criteria; (2) the practicality of the developed teaching materials are at very high and high criteria; (3) The developed teaching materials also meet the criteria of effectiveness, whereas many as 82 percent of the test subjects obtained a score of not less than 75 and the effect size value belongs to the large category. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed teaching materials are suitable for supporting and facilitating students in problem-solving exploration activities.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dalam rangka menindaklanjuti kerjasama yang dilakukan Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Siliwangi Tasikmalaya dengan Unit Pengelola Kegiatan (UPK) Badan Kerjasama Antar Desa (BKAD) Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Kerjasama ini terwujud dalam upaya merealisasikan bukti kepedulian perguruan tinggi khususnya jurusan Studi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi terhadap masyarakat disekitarnya. Mengingat pentingnya keberadaan UPK di masing-masing Desa, maka perlu adanya pembenahan yang terstruktur demi menjaga keberlangsungan keberadaan UPK. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut maka kami  melakukan pelatihan  dan pendampingan  yang behubungan dengan  masalah utama yang dihadapi yaitu menyangkut masalah pengelolaan keuangan. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui 2 tahap kegiatan, yaitu tahap 1 meliputi Bimbingan teknis (bimtek) terhadap pelaksana teknis (staf) UPK dengan materi penyusunan laporan keuangan, dan tahap 2 yaitu pelatihan  terhadap pimpinan/koordinator UPK BKAD  Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dengan materi peningkatan kemampuan manajerial dan penetapan standar kerja baku.Abstract:  The purpose of devotion to this community is to follow up on the cooperation conducted by the Faculty of Economics of Universitas Siliwangi Tasikmalaya with the Unit activity Management (UPK) of the Inter Village Cooperation Agency (BKAD) Tasikmalaya district. This cooperation is realized in the effort to realize the evidence of higher education especially in the study of Management Studies Faculty of economics towards surrounding communities. Given the importance of UPK's existence in each village, it needs to be a structured improvement to maintain the continuity of UPK existence. Based on the problem, we conduct training and mentoring that connect with the main problem faced is about financial management issues. Devotion to the community is done through 2 stages of activity, namely, phase 1 covering technical guidance (technology) on technical executor (staff) UPK with financial Report preparation material and Phase 2 is training on the leader/Coordinator UPK BKAD Tasikmalaya District with the material improvement of managerial ability and determination of standard work standards.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of Edmodo-based learning media for students' mathematical reasoning skills. Learning using Edmodo-based media has the advantage that it can be done anywhere and anytime so that it can help students become easier in mathematical reasoning. Analysis of mathematical reasoning ability is based on indicators (1) presenting mathematical statements orally, written, drawing, and diagram (2) performing mathematical manipulations (3) examining the validity of an argument and (4) determining the pattern or nature of mathematical symptoms to make generalizations.This research was conducted at SMP Uswatun Hasnah, Cisolok District, Sukabumi District. This research is development research with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation.). data collection used in this study is with several instruments namely expert sheets, student questionnaires and 4 questions of mathematical reasoning. The results of the research obtained the percentage of the ideal aspects of content/ material from media experts by 73.3% means that the criteria are feasible, expert material percentage of material aspects of 72.5% means that the criteria are feasible and the learning aspect of 69.1% means that the criteria are feasible, the average of the responses of 10 students is worth 35 which means that the criteria are practical, and the results of 4 questions of mathematical reasoning ability test given to get results that after use Edmodo-based learning media can improve the mathematical reasoning of students. The conclusion of this research is a learning media based on Edmodo towards the mathematical reasoning ability of students worthy to be applied.
