Abstract

This study aims to develop a guidance and counseling program in improving students' social skills at SD TMIP Yogyakarta City. This is based on preliminary findings that indicate the social skills of students in these schools need to be improved. The research method used is Research & Development. The results of the development of guidance and counseling programs include: 1) development of service programs including a) network development, b) Development of Guidance and Counseling Management Activities, c) Service development, d) and types of services, 2) design and action plans include: a) identification, b) time management, c) inventory of needs and types of services, d) implementation, reflection and evaluation of programs.

Abstract

To developing character of young people can apply a few indicators of clean and healthy behaviours in school, that: 1) washing hands with water and shop, 2) taking the food of healthy, 3) use latrines clean and healthy, 4) regular exercise and measurable, 5) not smoking, 6) throw garbage into the dumpster disaggregated, 7) eradicating wiggler, 8) weigh and measure height, 9) maintaining the hair so clean and neat, 10) clean and neatly dressed, 11) maintaining the nail to keep it short and clean. Each indicator of healthy behaviour and clean there is values characters such as of discipline, healthy life, love and care for the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and find the needs of physical education teachers in inclusive primary schools in the city of Yogyakarta. The scope of this research is the competency of physical education teachers in terms of; 1) pedagogik competence, 2) professional competence, 3) personality competence, 4) sosial competence. The results showed that 1) the pedagogik competence of teachers in SD A, B, and C was very good, 2) Professional teacher competencies were still lacking especially in planning and assessment of learning outcomes in inclusive classes, 3) The personality competencies of the teachers showed good results, 4) The sosial competencies of the teachers in SD, A, B and C also show very good. This means that the basic needs of  physical education teachers are professional competence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe character education through sports and health physical education subjects in grade III SD 2 Padokan Bantul. This study included qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were the principle, sports and health physical education teacher, class III teacher, and class III student. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in the study through data collection, data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verifying. The result of the research on the implementation of character education through Sports and Health Physical class III SD 2 Padokan Bantul bases are described in the form of descriptions and tables.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain the learning plan of the physical education in inclusive elementary schools, find out the learning process and identify physical education learning strategies in inclusive elementary schools in Yogyakarta city. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques in this study employed direct field observation techniques during the learning process of Physical Education, direct interview towards theteachers of physical education and mentoring teachers, and documentation by collecting various images or data that support this research. The study was conducted in 3 elementary schools: 1) Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan, 2) SD Negeri Baciro and 3) SD Negeri Pakel. Data were collected through the techniques of direct observation, interviews, and documentation so that they can yield overview and conclusion regarding to the learning strategies. The results of the research showed that in the planning of physical learning, there should be more serious and better preparation regarding to the syllabus, lesson plans and assessment. In the process of learning physical education, the research result showed that some students with special needs for athletic sports, especially running subject does not need significant adjustment, however blind students and deaf students felt that they need some adjustment in the running subject. There are a number of physical learning strategies for students with special needs including the use of appropriate language, making task sequences, allocation of time for learning, modification of the games/ sports rules and learning environments.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe gross motor learning strategies through psychotherapy methods for autistic children during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques employed were observation, interview and documentation. This research was located at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta City with the research subjects of low grade autistic students. The results of the research on students with special needs at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan showed: (1) The gross motor learning strategy through the psychotherapy method was carried out through the principle of playing by creating a sense of pleasure and ensuring safety. (2) Train gross motor responses through playing to improve the emotional relationship between parents and children, (3) Train visual-motor interactions through playing activities to increase children's visual responses. During the COVID-19 pandemic, parents were required to replace the roles of teachers and therapists. Children's activities needed to be fully supported by parents. Parent must make sure that the child's health condition was good enough. If the child had a fever, delayed it until the child is recovered or the child's self-immune was optimal.

Abstract

Learning must be accessible to all students. Therefore, significant challenges face developing distance learning that can meet the learning needs of every student diversity, including the student with special needs. Therefore, this study aims to describe the teacher readiness to meet the student learning needs through distance learning in schools by providing inclusive education. The research method used a questionnaire in 173 teachers from elementary schools in five districts in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) by asking them the questions such as the ease of internet networks, learning tools and equipment used, the selected learning management system (LMS) and provides the open-ended questions in the form of advantages and difficulties in distance learning. Indeed, the study results indicate that to increase teacher readiness, such as the efforts are needed and a positive atmosphere that can form self-development and self-efficacy culture

Abstract

Manusia memiliki perasaan, akal budi, karakter atau watak yang beragam, yang semuanya itu sebenarnya adalah berbagai macam bentuk kecerdasan. Berdasarkan teori perkembangan peserta didik, diyakini bahwa setiap peserta didik lahir dengan lebih dari satu bakat. Setiap peserta didik mempunyai bakat yaitu kemampuan yang menonjol dalam salah satu aspek kepribadian, yang diperoleh sebagai pembawaan. Oleh karena itu, sejak lahir setiap peserta didik tidak ada yang bodoh, yang ada anak yang cerdas dalam aspek yang berbeda-beda. Kajian literatur ini terfokus pada pendekatan kecerdasan majemuk pada pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani untuk hidup sehat bagi peserta didik sekolah dasar. Pembahasan dalam kajian telaah ini supaya memberikan gambaran sejumlah strategi bagi guru pendidik jasmani untuk kegaitan belajar mengajar (1) teknik gerak dasar; (2) hubungan antara hidup sehat yang aktif, teori multiple intelligence, dan pembelajaran gerak dasar lokomotor, non lokomotor dan manipulatif, dan (3) pendekatan multiple intelligence untuk mengajar dan belajar. Teori multiple intelligence menyatukan sumber daya intelektual dan bervariasi yang diberikan kepada peserta didik dan masyarakat dilingkungan sekolah maupun masyarakat umum. Mengintegrasikan teori multiple intelligence dengan prinsip-prinsip hidup sehat secara aktif yang dipelajari sebagai cara untuk perencanaan program, penyampaian program, pembelajaran peserta didik, dan untuk memfasilitasi evaluasi pembelajaran yang sesuai dalam program hidup sehat bagi peserta didik di sekolah dasar.  Kata kunci:multiple intelligence, pendidikanjasmani, hidupsehat

Abstract

This qualitative study aimed to develop personal hygiene and a healthy lifestyle using audiovisual media for elementary students in SD N Tegalrejo. The primary data of this research were The Headmaster, Teachers, also the Forth until Six Graders of SD Tegalrejo. The data collection approaches used in this study were observation, interview, and documentation. In line with that, the researcher employed Miles and Huberman's data analysis technique, which consists of three techniques namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. In addition, the researcher applied triangulation techniques to examine the validity of the data. The findings of this research revealed that 1) educational video about the importance of health and hygiene was used in SD N Tegalrejo, 2) video was the most effective audiovisual media due to its ease of access, application, and energy and time savings, and 3) the problem with using audiovisual media was the unstable connection and electrical blackout.  To summarize, teachers have another option for getting students adapted to personal hygiene and a healthy lifestyle, such as teaching students directly through offline learning, as well as guiding students to always practice hygiene and a healthy lifestyle at school to get them used to it.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strengthening of literacy and numeracy used by teachers in learning activities at SD Sabdodadi Keyongan Bantul. This research was conducted at SD Sabdodadi Keyongan Bantul, the source of the data was taken using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used semi-structured interview techniques, frank observation techniques and documentation. Test the credibility of the data using source triangulation techniques and triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study were carried out through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and decision making or verification. The results of this study indicate that literacy and numeracy strengthening can be done by teachers to achieve student learning skills through 1) The implementation of making it possible to read non-text books for 15 minutes and inserting literacy and numeracy in all learning units, making plans for strengthening literacy and numeracy by adjusting the reinforcement guidebook. literacy and numeracy from the Ministry of Education and Culture and carry out diagnostic tests so that teachers can adjust to the goals to be achieved. 2) The supporting factors are in the form of support from the school supervisory service or cooperation from students' parents as a means of supporting the implementation of literacy and numeracy strengthening in schools. 3) The inhibiting factors faced by teachers are in the form of limited facilities, infrastructure, limited time in learning, student knowledge is still low so that the literacy and numeracy strengthening process cannot run optimally. Efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors that can be done by teachers are in the form of using technology as an online or offline-based learning media in learning, participating in literacy and numeracy strengthening training, as well as working with teacher working groups to improve skills in preparing lesson plans.
