Abstract

This study aims to determine an increase in the mathematical connection ability of students of class VIII MTs Mathlabul Falah Labuan by using the Probing-prompting learning model based on Islamic values. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental method. Sampling was done by sampling technique saturated with a sample of 40 students from class VIII A as the experiment class and class VIII B as the control class. Based on the results of data analysis, the results show that there are differences in the ability to improve mathematical connections between experimentasl class students and control class students. Abstract

This study is aimed to describe about the meaning of peace in mental representation perspective in every member of Pesantren community, then every meaning that comes up will configurate social representation of Pesantren community about the meaning of peace, and at the final it produces inductively a whole definition about the meaning of peace that is accustomed with cultural-spiritual context of Indonesian people. The method that is used in this study is descriptive research with qualitative approach which the subject is taken based on criteria that have been set. The data retrieval is by open questionnaire using word-associating method and completed with interview. The results of this study are four categories of peaceful meaning: 1) personal piety (muru’ah); 2) hospitality (silaturahmi); 3) civil society (madani); and 4) a mercy to the worlds (rahmatan lil alamin). Based on the study result, it can be recognized that objectivication of peace in Pesantren community is a peace based on religious orders, and the anchoring of peace is a religious path as a representation of Islamic teaching as the mercy to the worlds (rahmatan lil alamin) that emphasize life harmony where it starts from individual improvement (intrapersonal) to interpersonal quality life, society, and also to the brotherhood of all mankind, till implemented world without violence, world with justice that appreciate freedom and equity can be realized.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of mathematical creative thinking skills of class XI students of Aliyah Mathla’ul Anwar Madrasah Menes Center through the treffinger learning model. This study uses a quasi-experimental method that is nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design, while the research technique used is purposive sampling where in determining the sample based on certain considerations. The population in this study were all students of class XI of the Aliyah Mathla'ul Anwar Madrasah Menes Center, while the sample used was students of class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 Aliyah Mathla'ul Anwar Madrasah Menes Center. The procedure for collecting data in this study uses the observation and test methods. The instrument used in this study was a test of students' mathematical creative thinking skills in the form of a description test. The data obtained in this study are quantitative data. Quantitative data processing is done through normality test, homogeneity test, average difference test. The statistics used in processing data are parametric statistics with t-test. Based on the results of data processing and hypothesis testing, it was concluded that mathematical creative thinking skills of class XI students of Aliyah Madrasah Mathla'ul Anwar Menes Center who obtained the Treffinger learning model were better than students who obtained conventional learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of mathematical critical thinking skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Saketi through cognitive conflict strategies. This study uses a quasi-experimental method that design pretest-posttest control group and determining the sample in this study using cluster random sampling technique with class VIII A as many as 25 students as the experimental class and class VIII B as many as 25 students as the control class. Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that cognitive conflict strategies can improve mathematical critical thinking skills of eighth grade students of Saketi State Middle School 2. Keywords: Cognitive Conflict Strategy, Mathematical Critical Thinking

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan pemecahan masalah (BKPM) matematis merupakan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja abad 21. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, maka seorang guru harus mengetahui kemampuan BKPM siswa sehingga dapat merencanakan pembelajaran dan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan profil kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan BKPM siswa di kabupaten Pandeglang, Provinsi Banten. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri dengan akreditasi A yang ada di Kabupaten Pandeglang sebanyak 133 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes soal uraian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebesar 12,88; rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebesar 16,30. Ini berarti kedua kemampuan tersebut masih tergolong rendah. Kata kunci: Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, Pemecahan Masalah, Siswa SMA.

Abstract

This research is mixed method with concurrent embedded strategy that aims to find out: (1) How the ability of mathematical creative thinking of superior students and asor students ; (2) Iscreative thinking ability of students who learn by learning cognitive conflict better than the conventional learning based on students' pre requisites ability (superior andasor). The population of the research is SMAN CMBBS students, with two classses of class XI IPA as sample. The instruments used in this research are multiple choice mathematics test reasoned and description, teachers and students activity observation sheets, and interview about learning. The data are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively that obtained from pre-test and post-test results and gain normalized. The results show that: (1) The creative thinking ability of superior students and asor students before learning is same; (2) The creative thinking ability of students who learn by learning cognitive conflict is better than the conventional learning based on students' pre requisites ability (superior).

Abstract

This research is a mixed method research with concurrent embedded strategy. The aim of the research is to find out the students’ habit of mind who learn with Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is better than the conventional learning. The population of the research is the mathematical education students of FKIP of Banten Mathla’ul Anwar University (Unma). The sample of the research is two classes in semester IV. The instruments in this research area essay, questionnaires and observation sheet of students’ and lecturers activities. The data are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively that obtained from the pretest and posttest. The results show that there is no significant difference between the students’ habit of mind who learnt with the problem-based learning (PBL) and the conventional learning.

Abstract

Universitas Mathla'ul Anwar Banten is one of the university which is located in Pandeglang Regency. It always tries to improve the quality in the service for the society. One of the activities in Mathla’ul Anwar University that has already been done is KKN Posdaya Program. The KKN activity has already been done well, however it needs some improvements in the capacity of the students who are ready to involve themselves in the society. The KKN activity in Mathla'ul Anwar University aims to integrate the education and teaching, research and community service by the students pragmatically, comprehensive dimension through an interdisciplinary approach, comprehensive, and cross-sector. By doing the KKN Activity, it is hoped that the students will be a part of the society that can contribute directly to help the problems in the society. The Approach method for the improvement capacity program of communication and cooperation uses PALS (Participatory Action Learning System) method.

Abstract

STRATEGIES TO STRENGTHEN STUDENTS TO BE READY FOR THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION ERA 4.0 AND INCREASE THE ENTHUSIASM OF LEARNING WITH THE CONCEPT OF LAW OF ATTRACTION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN MATHLA'UL ANWAR PANDEGLANG. Devotion to this society is attempting to give students through the primary purpose of the workshop about the scored students for ready to face the industrial revolution 4.0 and increase eager to study with the the law of attraction concept. Things that are provided with for students is an understanding of the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, for students, mental maturation an injection motivation, and increase passion for being students who superior. These efforts becomes strategy in preparing students for ready to face the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Strategies are delivered to students through the concept of the Law of Attraction. The concept was to give effect both mentally, foster self-confidence, mindset, spirit, determination, and an attitude to face something. The objectives of this workshop are: 1) scored students for ready to confront the industrial revolution 4.0; 2) improve the quality of students that are highly competitive; 3) foster the understanding that the knowledge gained can be actualized in the community; 4) fosters an understanding of the use of digital technology and the Internet of things technology to boost productivity and competitiveness of students; 5) enhance the spirit of learning to boost student achievement.

Abstract

Dalam rangka menyiapkan bangkitnya generasi emas Indonesia tahun 2045, diperlukan pembangunan pendidikan dalam perspektif masa depan yaitu mewujudkan masyarakat Indonesia yang berkualitas, maju, mandiri dan modern, serta meningkatkan harkat dan martabat bangsa. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan potensi kemampuan siswa diantaranya kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis (KBKM). Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang diperlukan pada abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah pada materi limit melalui pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek sebanyak tiga orang siswa kelas XI SMK Bismillah Serang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan soal kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMK Bismillah Serang masih tergolong rendah. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan hanya ada satu siswa yang mampu memenuhi indikator KBKM yaitu indikator elaborasi. Tidak ada satupun siswa yang memenuhi indikator kelancaran (kemahiran), kelenturan dan keaslian. Selain itu, dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika daring guru menggunakan aplikasi online whatsApp. Siswa menyatakan bahwa tidak menyukai pembelajaran matematika daring, siswa juga tidak mau mempelajari materi pembelajaran yang dirasa sulit di luar jam pelajaran, siswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang dijelaskan oleh guru. Hal ini juga disebabkan karena kurangnya interaksi edukatif antara guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran, sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam bertanya kepada guru terkait materi yang dijelaskan.Kata kunci: Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, limit, pembelajaran daring
