Abstract

The government's demand to improve the quality of production and business development not in accordance with a condition of development of seaweed cultivation in Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi as a center for seaweed development, which is still relatively low. The low production and quality were influenced by various factors. This study aims were to identify the structure of the seaweed supply chain, analyze post-harvest handling, and describe the quality of seaweed in Bantaeng Regency. The total sample of 27 respondents taken by purposive sampling. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the seaweed supply chain business actors in Bantaeng Regency were still in the open market negotiation process with their respective roles. Farmers play a role in seaweed farming activities, traders collectors play a role as an intermediary for information. Providers of capital for farmers and the quality of seaweed in this area is still relatively low.

Abstract

Development in agriculture will be more optimal if it is combined with superior commodity management. One commodity that has the potential to become a leading commodity is the porang plant. The purpose of this study is to analyze internal and external factors in porang cultivation activities so that they can produce strategies to improve the welfare of porang farmers in the North Lombok Regency. Methods of data collection by observation and direct interviews. The analysis used is a SWOT analysis. The results of this study obtained strategies that can be used for the development of porang agribusiness in North Lombok Regency, namely: 1) Increasing business scale, 2) Increasing the quality of human resources, 3) Partnership patterns, 4) Use of quality packaging, 5) Timing of planting, 6) People's business credit, 7) Maximize the use of existing facilities and infrastructure. Overall efforts to improve farmers' welfare in porang agribusiness are to increase business scale with government support through small business loans for farmers and build partnerships with porang tuber processing industries.

Abstract

This present study investigates the combination of probiotic Lactobacillus sp. and molasses applied to promote growth performance and survival of Nile Tilapia seed. Probiotic could act as an additive agent for fish seed with incomplete digestive organ development as it produces the digestion-support enzyme. The experiment was set based on the formalized fish feed, consisting of A (no molasses and probiotic provision), B (2 r/L molasses), C (108 cfu/mL probiotic), D (108 cfu/mL probiotic + 4 r/L molasses), E (1010 cfu/mL probiotic + 2 r/L molasses) and applied in three replicates each. Fish were reared in cone bottom tanks and were fed according to the treatment (2 times a day in 3 weeks). The growth and survival rate data were collected during the experiment and were analyzed using ANOVA (analysis of variance). The results indicate significant growth and survival of Nile Tilapia seed (P<0,05) generated by the enhancement of probiotics and molasses into fish feed with formalized 1010 cfu/mL probiotic + 2 r/L molasses.

Abstract

Kabupaten Pinrang merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil kopi di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Jenis kopi robusta yang terkenal sejak tahun 2018 hingga kini yaitu kopi Basseang. Faktor yang mendasari penelitian ini: Minat petani menjadi wirausaha, belum menerapkan teknologi yang tepat, potensi usaha/lahan kopi sangat besar namun belum bisa dioptimalkan, terbentuknya kelompok tani, keberadaan koperasi belum dimanfaatkan, permodalan, pemasaran mengandalkan tengkulak, tidak ada mitra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keunggulan, menciptakan peluang bisnis secara berkesinambungan, mendeskripsikan potensi ekonomi produktif dan merumuskan prioritas strategi dalam pengembangan agribisnis kopi robusta di Kecamatan Lembang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Jumlah responden 39 orang dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kopi robusta di Kecamatan Lembang sangat potensial namun perlu ditingkatkan kualitasnya dengan pendampingan rutin yang dilakukan oleh perangkat pemerintah tingkat kabupaten guna mengontrol kualitas kopi yang dihasilkan agar dapat terstandarisasi. Pentingnya standarisasi kualitas kopi yang dilakukan agar mudah dipasarkan. Selain itu pendampingan juga dilakukan untuk mengedukasi para petani agar memanfaatkan koperasi sebagai lembaga yang dapat membantu menjual hasil produksinya dengan harga yang lebih kompetitif. Dengan begitu konsep pengembangan ekonomi kerakyatan yang produktif, efisien dan berdaya saing dapat dicapai. Kebijakan dasar yang perlu diterapkan yaitu penguatan sub-sistem hulu, pemberdayaan sub-sistem budidaya dan memperkuat sub-sistem hilir sehingga mampu menciptakan value added berupa biji kopi dan menghasilkan produk akhir yang unggul berupa kopi bubuk kemasan. Selain itu jalinan kemitraan yang jelas dengan koperasi atau asosiasi secara kontinu akan menjaga stabilitas harga kopi, sehingga akan memengaruhi pendapatan dan kesejahteraan hidup para petani.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Kabupaten Bone merupakan salah satu program Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam Mattola Palallo STIP YAPI Bone. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 16 Juni 2023. Bertempat di Jalan Mangga dan Jalan Sukawati, Kelurahan Macege Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan secara gotong royong oleh mahasiswa STIP YAPI Bone, Dosen STIP YAPI Bone dan masyarakat Jalan Mangga dalam membersihkan Sungai dan jalan sekitarnya serta memungut sampah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat untuk masyarakat sekitar, menginsipirasi individu atau kelompok lain untuk lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan yang ada baik pemerhati lingkungan ataupun kaum intetelektual dan dapat berjalan secara berkelangsungan dan berkesinambungan di masa yang akan datang sebagai wujud realisasi dari sosialisasi. Kata kunci : sosialisasi; aksi sosial; lingkungan; sungai ABSTRACTCommunity Service Activities (PKM) in Bone Regency is one of the Nature Lover Mattola Palallo STIP YAPI Bone Student programs. Abstract

ABSTRAKKampus STIP YAPI BONE menjalin kerjasama (MoU) dalam program pendampingan petani dan kegiatan lapangan mahasiswa untuk banyak berbaur kepada masyarakat secara berkelanjutan melakukan penelitian di Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) Wanua Lampoko Kabupaten Bone. Mitra kerjasama pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Kelompok P4S Wanua Lampoko, mereka memiliki petani yang terampil. Adapun tujuan dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan petani tentang pengembangan  pertanian  organik  dalam  mendukung  ketahanan  pangan dan meningkatkan perekonomian petani. Permasalahan utama kelompok tani, yaitu masih terbatasnya pengetahuan dan praktek cerdas dalam melakukan inovasi terhadap perkembangan pasar dimana mayoritas masyarakat belum mengetahui penanganan secara cepat tepat akan produksi sawi organik yang menghasilkan kualitas jaminan mutu sawi yang dihasilkan sesuai standar keamanan mutu dan dengan harga yang cukup baik. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka pihak akdemisi dapat menjalankan tridarma perguruan tinggi terkait di bidang pendidikan yaitu memberikan informasi dari hasil-hasil riset yang telah dijalankan selama ini. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah tanggung jawab bersama mitra P4S Wanua Lampoko, memegang amanah dalam menjalankan penyuluhan kepada petani dengan rangkaian pelatihan penjualan, pengembangan bisnis hingga pendampingan peningkatan kapasitas kepada masyarakat dalam sistem penyuluhan dimana pemahaman informasi dapat tersampaikan dengan baik, secara berkelanjutan melalui penerapan standar sistem penjaminan mutu. Kata kunci: komoditas hortikultura; sawi; p4s wanua lampoko; sulawesi selatan ABSTRACTThe YAPI BONE STIP Campus has collaborated (MoU) in a farmer assistance program and student field activities to mingle a lot with the community on an ongoing basis conducting research at the Wanua Lampoko Self-Help Agriculture and Rural Training Center (P4S), Bone Regency. The collaborative partner in this community service activity is the P4S Wanua Lampoko Group, they have skilled farmers. Counseling on marketing strategies in business development by private universities (PTS) STIP YAPI BONE, by farmers in Lampoko village to develop product business information. The main problem of farmer groups, namely the limited knowledge and smart practices in innovating on market developments. The efforts of STIP YAPI BONE students are involved in building student capacity in conducting research, as well as strategies to expand the marketing area of mustard greens and produce the best agricultural technology with strategies for mainstreaming smart practices, which can be realized immediately with group independent smallholders. The majority of people do not know about the fast and precise handling of organic mustard production which produces quality assurance of mustard greens produced according to quality safety standards and at a fairly good price. In overcoming these problems, academics can carry out the tridarma of related tertiary institutions in the field of education, namely providing information from research results that have been carried out so far. Community service is a joint responsibility of P4S Wanua Lampoko partners, holding the mandate in carrying out counseling to farmers with a series of sales training, business development to capacity building assistance to the community in an extension system where understanding of information can be conveyed properly, in a sustainable manner through the implementation of a standard guarantee system quality. Keywords: horticultural commodities; mustard; p4s wanua lampoko; south sulawesi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of different densities on the survival of penja fish (Gobioidea) using a closed transportation system. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 (four) treatments and three replications, namely treatment A (penja fish density 5 individuals/liter), treatment B (with a density of 10 individuals/liter), treatment C (with a density of 15 individuals/liter), and treatment D (with a density of 20 fish/liter). Parameters tested included survival and behavior and water quality parameters such as temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen. Data analysis used ANOVA with a 95% confidence level. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that with different densities in penja survival between treatments A, B, C and D during transportation and post-transportation, using a closed transportation system the results were not significantly different or each treatment achieved survival live 100% so that it can be used as a method of transporting penja fish. However, the efficiency of effective transportation of penja fish can be used up to a density of 20 fish/liter.

Abstract

ABSTRAKProgram Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat bekerjasama dengan Mitra ATI (Air Tahu Alami) merupakan salah satu UKM home industry. Adapun tujuan dari PKM ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kegiatan usaha dengan perbaikan manajemen, peningkatan produksi, kemasan baru, promosi & pembuatan Ms. Exel yang memberikan berbagai keunggulan. Adapun tahapan pada PKM ini yaitu Tahapan persiapan, tahapan pengadaan alat dan bahan, tahapan pendampingan proses pembuatan susu kedelai, tahapan pendampingan desain kemasan dan labeling, tahapan pendampingan pembuatan laporan menggunakan Exel. Adapun luaran dari Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat PKM ini menjadikan usaha home industry ATI (Susus Air Tahu) menggunakan suatu konsep inovasi, penetrasi pasar, dimana mitra fokus pada penjualan produk yang sebelumnya telah ada di pasar dengan peningkatan jumlah produksi, menggunakan kemasan desain dan labeling baru yang menarik dan pembukuan laporan  usaha menggunakan perangkat Ms. Excel. Dimana usaha ATI tersebut berada pada posisi progresif, yaitu kuat dan dapat bersaing. Sehingga dapat memperbaiki perekonomian. Kata Kunci : strategi; pengembangan; usaha; susu kedelai ABSTRACTThe Community Service Activity Programme, in collaboration with ATI Partners (Air Tahu Alami), is one of the UKM home industries. The aim of this PKM is to increase business activities by improving management, increasing production, new packaging, promotion, and making Ms. Excel, which provides various advantages. The stages in this PKM are the preparation stage, the stage for procuring tools and materials, the stage for assisting in the process of making soy milk, the stage for assisting with packaging design and labeling, and  the stage for assisting in making reports using Excel. The output of this PKM Community Service Activity is that the home industry business ATI (Susus Air Tahu) uses the concept of innovation and market penetration, where partners focus on selling products that previously existed on the market by increasing the amount of production and using new packaging designs and labeling. interesting and bookkeeping business reports using MS Excel. Abstract

Seaweed is one of the fishery commodities that has great potential to be developed in coastal areas, especially in Bone Regency which is one of the producing areas of Eucheuma cottonii seaweed. From 2018 until now the demand for seaweed continues to increase while the amount of production is unstable due to several main problems such as farmers' lack of understanding of handling upstream sub-systems, empowerment of cultivation sub-systems and downstream sub-systems and the marketing system only relies on collecting traders. The purpose of this study is to describe the potential of seaweed, identify internal and external factors that influence the increase in production and determine the priority of seaweed agribusiness development strategy in Tanete Riattang District. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a qualitative approach using a questionnaire tool. The number of respondents was 67. Data obtained through in-depth interviews with key informants are agribusiness system actors as internal parties, namely middlemen in the upstream subsystem, seaweed farmers in the farming subsystem, collecting traders in the marketing subsystem, Fisheries Office. Furthermore, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was held. Then it is analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results show that opportunities for seaweed cultivation are still open, therefore the development concept is directed to realize business opportunities, improve the quality and quantity of seaweed production and create new markets to meet high demand to realize premium quality in a sustainable manner supported by oriented institutions that can compete in the local market and export markets to increase income that provides benefits for farmers in maintaining seaweed stabitlity.
