Abstract

ABSTRACT ? The aim of this research was to improve creative thinking skill of students in class X-10 SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta year 2011/2012, which consist of 5 aspect, fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration and evaluation. Classroom Action Research was used in this research, which has four phases, they are  planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data of the research were collected by using observation sheet, test, questionare, and interview. The data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive method. The validity of data was verified through triangulation technique of data collecting method. The results showed the percentage of every aspect of creative thinking skills based test on a first cycle have not gain thet targets, achievement of Fluency aspect is 69,70%, then 63.64% for Flexibility, 47.73% for Originality, 56.82% for Elaboration, and 49.24% for Evaluation. The results of the second cycle  increased, but there are aspects that have not reached the target. Result for each aspect was 79.55% for Fluency, 73.11% for Flexibility, Originality of 54.55%, 60.23% for Elaboration, and Evaluation of 57.58%. All aspects have not fulfill of the target yet, so the action continued to third cycle. The results achieved in the third cycle, Fluency aspects of 85.86%, 78.03% for flexibility, 63.64% for Originality, 60.23% for Elaboration, and Evaluation of 62.12%. All aspects of creative thinking skills already outreach the target, so the action was stopped. The conclusion of this research described that the Problem Based learningn (PBL) improve creative thinking skill in biology subject learning of students at class X-10 SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta year 2011/2012. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian kali ini penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan dari minat belajar daring dengan hasil belajar kognitif siswa selama pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran biologi di SMAN 8 Semarang. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 8 Semarang karena hasil dari observasi di SMAN 8 Semarang minat belajar daring masih tergolong rendah dan hasil belajar juga masih tergolong rendah sehingga perlu diadakan evaluasi mengenai pembelajaran daring. Penelitian kali ini masuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif, analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis data korelasi product moment yang memiliki tujuan mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan yang positif dari minat belajar daring dengan hasil belajar kognitif siswa selama pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran biologi SMAN 8 Semarang. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan simple random sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dari anggota populasi yang dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperlihatkan strata yang ada dalam populasi itu sendiri. Sampel yang diambil pada penelitian kali ini sebanyak dua kelas dari populasi keseleruhan lima kelas dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 72 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan intrumen angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Dari perhitungan tersebut didapatkan hasil perhitungan korelasi antara minat belajar daring dengan hasil belajar kognitif selama pembelajaran daring diperoleh rxy= 0.945 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dengan kategori korelasi sangat kuat karena terletak diantara 0.800-1.000. kemudian untuk menguji keberartian koefisien korelasi sederhara digunakan rumus uji “t” didapatkan hasil t hitung 24.15 dengan t tabel 1.994, maka didapatkan hasil t hitung > t tabel (24.15>1.994) sehingga dapat dikatakan variabel X dengan Y memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship of online learning interest with students' cognitive learning outcomes during online learning of biology subjects at SMAN 8 Semarang. The research was conducted at SMAN 8 Semarang because the results of observations at SMAN 8 Semarang, interest in online learning is still relatively low and learning outcomes are also still relatively low so it is necessary to conduct an evaluation of online learning. This research is a quantitative research type. The data analysis used in this research is product moment correlation data analysis which has the aim of knowing whether there is a positive relationship between online learning interest and students' cognitive learning outcomes during online learning of biology subjects at SMAN 8 Semarang. . The sampling technique in this study used a probability sampling technique with simple random sampling, namely the technique of taking samples from members of the population that was carried out randomly without showing the strata that existed in the population itself. The samples taken in this study were two classes from a total population of five classes with a total of 72 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation instruments. The results of the study were then analyzed using the product moment correlation formula. From these calculations, the results of the calculation of the correlation between online learning interest and cognitive learning outcomes during online learning obtained rxy = 0.945 with a significance level of 5% with a very strong correlation category because it is located between 0800-1,000. Then to test the significance of the simple correlation coefficient, the "t" test formula was used to get the results of t count 24.15 with t table 1.994, then the results obtained t count > t table (24.15> 1.994) so ​​that it can be said that the X variable with Y has a significant relationship. Abstract

A sustainable green campus program requires a commitment to maintain the campus environment in order to remain of green campus values. One of them is commitment in providing green open space. Considering the land requirements for building construction are increasing, it is necessary to determine an area where construction is not permitted at that location. The location is devoted to green open space. Determination of a location as an arboretum can strengthen commitment to providing green open space in campus environment of UIN Walisongo Semarang. The multifunctional arboretum is very useful for the development of sustainable green campus. This study is to examine the arboretum as a supporter of green campus programs at UIN Walisongo Semarang. There are three potential locations to be used as arboretum of UIN Walisongo Semarang. Cluster concept that carries genetic conservation is suitable for the development of UIN Walisongo arboretum, beside considers the existing inventory. Needs of deep study about an inventory of existing flora and fauna, site conditions, and development plans for more appropriate arboretum for UIN Walisongo Semarang green campus.

Abstract

Various species of birds can be used as bio-indicators of the environmental quality of an area. The diversity of tree species is directly proportional to the diversity of bird species. The purpose of this study was to determine the environmental quality of campus 2 Walisongo UIN Semarang through parameters related to the diversity of bird species with tree composition. This study uses a census method to collect tree composition data, and the number of counting points is used as a bird species data collection technique. The research sites are in four campus areas 2 of UIN Walisongo, namely: zone A in the Taman Fuhum area (east of the Faculty of Usuluddin and Humanities), zone B in the Faculty of Science and Technology area, zone C in the Unyil Park area of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) and zone D in the North forest area of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics Technology. The results show zone D has the highest level of tree variation and bird species variation. Consists of 81 species of trees and 13 species of birds. In contrast zone, C has the lowest level of tree variation and lowest variation of bird species. The number of tree species is related to variations in the number of bird species. It can be concluded that the best environmental quality on campus 2 of UIN Walisongo is in zone D. The lack of diversity of bird and tree species in several areas on campus 2 of UIN Walisongo Semarang shows that there is a need for reforestation and tree planting to increase the diversity of bird species as parameters of environmental quality in campus 2 UIN Walisongo Semarang.

Abstract

Mount Ungaran is one of the dormant volcanoes in Central Java. The condition of the unspoiled forest in the Mount Ungaran area is a good habitat for fauna, including birds. There are several hiking trails traversed by mountain climbers, one of them is the Promasan hiking trail. This study aims to determine the diversity of bird species and identify their conservation status on the Promasan hiking trail. Data were colected by Indices Ponctuels d'Abondance (IPA), Line Transect, and Point Count methods. Bird species diversity was determined by the Shanon index. Determination of bird conservation status based on the IUCN Red List, CITES Appendix, Government Regulation (PP No. 7 of 1999) and Ministry of Environment and Forestry Regulation (PERMENLHK RI No. 106, 2018). The results showed that there were 24 bird species belonging to 19 families. The diversity of bird species was classified as moderate (Shanon index = 2.59). There were two species including CITES Appendix II. Based on the IUCN Red List, there was one species in the Endangered (EN) category, 23 species in the Least Concern (LC) category. There was one species that is protected according to Government Regulation (PP No. 7 of 1999). The 3 species include as protected under the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Regulation (PERMENLHK RI No. P.106, 2018). Monitoring the presence of birds in this area must be carried out regularly.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and response of students to interactive multimedia based on android containing critical thinking skills on mutation material. This type of research is research and development (RD), this research was developed using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The sample in this study were 10 students of MAN 2 Semarang. The results of the study: 76% of media experts, 81.81% of material experts, 90% of critical thinking experts, 91.61% of teacher responses, and 92.66% of student responses to interactive multimedia applications. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that android-based interactive multimedia to train critical thinking skills on mutasu material is very feasible to be used as teaching material. Keywords: critical thinking skills, interactive multimedia, development research. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan respon siswa terhadap multimedia interaktif berbasis android bermuatan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi mutasi. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu research and development (RD), penelitian ini dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 10 siswa MAN 2 Semarang. Hasil penelitian : ahli media sebesar 76%, ahli materi sebesar 81,81%, ahli berpikir kritis sebesar 90%, tanggapan guru sebesar 91,61%, dan hasil respon siswa terhadap aplikasi multimedia interaktif sebesar 92,66%. Abstract

Abstract During the online learning period, students experience many obstacles that cause the practicum to not run well, especially for schools with problems with laboratory facilities. Students also needed media that could be used for independent and repetitive learning. Therefore, the researcher developed the Practicumma website by integrating learning components (learning resources, teaching materials, media, methods & evaluation) for online practicum. The research objective was to develop a biology learning website for the eleventh-grade science students. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model. Data analysis using qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that Practicumma was suitable for use in biology practicum according to the assessment of media experts at 76.7%, material experts at 80%, biology teachers at 83.53%, and limited scale test to students at 87.2%, so the average percentage of eligibility was 81.86% (very valid).
