Abstract

Shellfish is one of the marine biota that is often consumed by humans. The content of lead heavy metals in Anadara granosa shellfish found in the coastal area of Makassar city is already above the threshold value. Consuming seafood such as shellfish containing heavy metals has a negative effect on humans. One effort that can be done to minimize the content of heavy metals in the body of the shell is by soaking in a solution of lime asama ( Citrus autrantifolia ). Lime acid solution is used because it contains organic compounds that have the ability as chelators (metal binders). The purpose of this study was to see the effect of lime acid solution and soaking time on the reduction of lead levels in the meat of the shellfish. This study uses a Quasi Laboratory Experimental method with a Pre and Post Test with Control Group Design research design . In this study variations in the concentration of lime acid solution used were 50%, 75%, 100% concentration, and 0% concentration as a control. While the variation of soaking time used is 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 60 minutes. The results showed that the treatment dose of 0% of lime acid solution showed a decrease in the levels of lead (Pb) the lowest, namely at the time of treatment for soaking for 60 minutes as much as 0.0467 mg / kg . Whereas the treatment dose of 100 % and soaking time for 60 minutes showed the most effective treatment in reducing lead levels in shellfish meat, which was 1,1600 mg / kg. Keywords: Anadara granosa , Pb  , Citrus autrantifolia

Abstract

Mutu pelayanan yang diberikan rumah sakit sangat berpengaruh terhadap citra rumah sakit dan kepuasan pasien yang berkunjung kerumah sakit tersebut. Salah satu faktor yang berperan terhadap mutu pelayanan rumah sakit adalah pengelolaan obat yang dilakukan di rumah sakit. Pengelolaan obat perlu untuk dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya kekurangan obat (stock out), kelebihan obat (over stock), dan pembelian obat secara cito. RSUD Syekh Yusuf Gowa pernah terjadi kekosongan obat yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan jumlah pasien. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran manajemen pengelolaan persediaan obat di Gudang Farmasi RSUD Syekh Yusuf Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengambilan sampel pada  penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik Non Random (Non Probability) Sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Kepala Instalasi Farmasi, Penanggung Jawab Sediaan Obat dan BMHP, Pengelola Obat dan Pengelola BMHP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan persediaan obat di gudang farmasi RSUD Syekh Yusuf Gowa sudah cukup efektif, tetapi ada beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kekosongan obat. Hal ini terlihat dari beberapa komponen Input (Sarana terutama gudang penyimpanan yang kurang representatif), Proses (ketidakkonsistenan terhadap penggunaan sediaan, perencanaan yang kurang teliti, suhu ruangan yang berubah-ubah mempengaruhi sediaan yang ada, keterlambatan pelaporan sediaan yang kosong dan kelalaian petugas yang mengakibatkan sediaan menjadi rusak dan expired) dan Output (sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan). Diharapkan kepada Kepala Instalasi Farmasi RSUD Syekh Yusuf Gowa untuk mempertimbangkan penambahan luas gudang farmasi yang dianggap belum cukup memadai, pengadaan pendingin ruangan yang sesuai dengan standar dan diharapkan kepada petugas gudang untuk lebih teliti dalam proses perencanaan sediaan untuk meminimalisir sediaan yang terlupa.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of dramatic change in a person. This sudden increase in growth is accompanied by hormonal, cognitive and emotional changes. Teenagers really need more nutrients because of increased growth and physical development that is very drastic. This study aims to determine the relationship of food intake with the nutritional status of adolescent students of SMP Buq'atun Mubarakah Pondok Pesantren Darul Aman Makassar. This research method used quantitative analytic with cross sectional approach. Retrieval of food intake data used the food weighing method for 3 consecutive days. Determination of nutritional status was obtained from BMI/A parameters (body mass index/age). Statistical test results showed no relationship between energy intake, protein intake, vitamin A intake, iron, zinc and fat intake with the nutritional status of students, but we obtained a significant relationship between carbohydrate intake and nutritional status. In addition, we found no relationship between diarrheal infections and typhoid infections with nutritional status. We recommend that the pesantren can design a varied list of food menus for students to fulfill a balanced nutritional status

Abstract

Background:The Balanced Scorecard can translate organizational and strategic vision and mission into the operational goals and measure the performance for four different perspectivesObjective:The study was aimed at finding out the overview of performance measurement using the Balanced Scorecard method at Faisal Islamic Hospital of Makassar.Method: The study was descriptive quantitative research involving 11869 patients/families of patients as research population and 403 employees as the samples gathered using a Stratified Random Sampling technique. The collected data were then analyzed univariately.Result:The results of the study revealed that on the costumers’ perspective, the customers’ acquisition was the only indicator showing the unfavorable result decreased by 4.64%. In the financial perspective, the ROI indicator and effectiveness ratio had decreased by 18.96% and 59.6%, both indicators were stated to be less good. In the Internal Business perspective in terms of service quality the BOR and ALOS ratio were said to be less good. From the perspective of Learning and Growth it was very good where all indicators were in accordance with the standards. The four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard were very influential on the hospital’s performance.Conclusion:By improving the costumers’ acquisition, the hospital income would increase as well.

Abstract

Background :Customer Relationship Management (CRM) as a process to build a relationship between companies and customers by increasing customers value and satisfaction performed by identifying customers by forming perceptions on the products or organizations or services offered through marketers, sellers, services and supporting services which make the customers to be loyal. Objective :The study was aimed at determining the correlation between Customer Relationship Management and the inpatients loyalty at Ibnu Sina Hospital of Makassar in 2017.Method :This study was quantitative research using an obsevational analytic approach with cross sectional study involving 18304 people as research population and 391 samples. Moreover, univariate and bivariate with chi square test were utilized in analysing the data. Result :The results showed that there was a significant correlation between continuity marketing (p=0.000), one to one marketing (p=0.000), and partnering program did not have a significant correlation (p=0.090) with patient loyalty. Conclusion: Ibnu Sina Hospital must be able to manage customer relationship management well to maintain patient loyalty in order to reuse services at the hospital.
