Abstract

The COVID-19 disaster, which was felt globally in all countries including Indonesia, has in general changed the series of business process arrangements in almost all fields, including the field of education. One of the affected areas of education is the Caltex Riau Polytechnic (PCR) campus. The impact of this disaster has forced the academic community (lecturers and students) to carry out the online lecture process since the Odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The online lecture process is facilitated by an electronic learning system (e-learning). Changes in the pattern of lectures, which previously were held face-to-face, then had to be conducted online using e-learning, gave rise to several usability problems. The usability measurement of e-learning PCR was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire, involving 196 participants. The results of the usability analysis of e-learning PCR obtained a score of 58.75. With the assessment criteria on the adjective, the rating is okay, the grade scale is D value, and the acceptable ranges are at a marginal low. This means that e-learning still needs improvement and evaluation of the utilization of the features/services provided, so that it can be used more efficiently, effectively, and satisfactorily for its users.

Abstract

User experience describes the experience gained by users when using software products. Focus on the needs and emotions of users when using a product is one of the keys to the success of a software. As a software product, Student Academic Information Systems have an important role to improve services to students in Higher Education. Measurement of user experience aims to determine the experience gained by users when using the Student Academic Information System. Measurements were made using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) on 179 active student of a higher education institution in Pekanbaru. The results obtained for each aspect of UEQ are 1.395 attractiveness, 1.586 clarity, 1.380 efficiency, 1.392 accuracy, 1,347 stimulation and 0.847 novelty. The lowest value is in the novelty aspect. The novelty aspect needs to be a concern because users feel the monotonous and usual novelty so that it has a negative impression value. The results of this study can be used as recommendations for designing a new Student Academic Information System user experience.

Abstract

Technology plays an important role in everyday life for many people. Then, the problem that arises is the use of technology that is not appropriate and misuses it for personal interests, giving rise to cyber crimes such as drug transactions. The existence of digital evidence can assist in uncovering cases of cyber crimes using digital evidence of sound recordings. Therefore, this research is expected to reveal these cyber crimes. Efforts to analyze sound recordings are carried out using audio forensic techniques to show ownership of voices so that they can be used as evidence. A minimum of 20 words are required that have similarities between the voice of the evidence and the voice of the subject. From the results of the study, it was found that sample A had identical words with evidence of more than 20 words. Sample A has 21 identical words in pitch analysis, 5 words in ANOVA statistical analysis, 26 words in graphical distribution analysis and 24 words in spectrogram analysis of the 30 words analyzed. It can be concluded that audio forensic techniques can show ownership of sound recordings with the results of voice recordings of sample A being identical to the evidence

Abstract

The thought process needed to formulate problems and solutions so that these solutions can become effective information processing agents in solving problems is called computational thinking (CT). The process of implementing learning using the CT approach is related to those provided by Google for Education, namely abstraction, algorithm design, decomposition, and pattern recognition. CT is a term that refers to the main ideas and concepts in the fields of informatics and computer science, so the proposed Community Service (PkM) activity this time will introduce looping and branching materials. Learning is taught and presented in a fun way, and then activities are carried out that discuss the problems that exist around the students of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. It is hoped that by injecting the CT concept it can foster students' creativity, foster a culture of information, algorithms, and computational thinking, and involve students in utilizing information technology, computers, and applications from an early age

Abstract

A tourist destination is a geographical area within one or more administrative areas in which there are tourist attractions, public facilities, tourism facilities, accessibility, and communities that are interrelated and complement the realization of tourism. A website is a form of communication media that can provide certain information, which can be accessed by many people anytime and anywhere. The Regional Government (pemda) of Pekanbaru City has provided tourism information services in the form of tourist destinations and tourism activities on the website. Based on the results of preliminary observations made on the tourism website of the Pekanbaru City government, it was found that the tourism information provided was not up to date, and there were still many tourist objects in Pekanbaru that had not been published, so the information delivery process was not optimal and ineffective. The effectiveness of using the website must pay attention to usability of its use. Usability is a quality level of a system that is easy to learn, easy to use, and encourages users to use the system as a tool in completing tasks. Usability can be measured based on the quality of the user experience when interacting with the system operated by the user himself. Usability measurement on this tourism website is carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) measurement tool. Based on the measurement results using SUS, a score of 65.87 was obtained, where 10 of the statement items were declared valid and reliable. The score obtained shows that in terms of user satisfaction, it is stated to be included in the Marginal High category, predicate D with the adjective range Ok. This shows that the user's subjective assessment illustrates that the Pekanbaru City government's tourism website is less effective, efficient, and satisfying for users.

Abstract

Buyung Fitri's sea fish stand is a trading business that provides fresh sea fish which it operates in the Senapelan, Pekanbaru. This stand is capable of handling wholesale and retail sales. The absence of financial records that should be required in the trading business is a problem for the stand’s owner. Therefore, a recommendation solution is given to the owner to build a website system. This system can manage transactions that occur in the sea fish business to become financial reports. This system is build based on a website using the PHP CodeIgniter framework and MySQL. In addition, this study also built a mobile app that is used to view financial reports needed by users later. Based on black box testing, it can be concluded that both systems can run well. Then based on performance testing, it can be concluded that the website system built can be accessed quickly. While the android system has low memory usage so it can run well.

Abstract

Proses pemasaran produk yang dilakukan oleh pelaku Usaha Micro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) saat ini harus mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Perkembangan teknologi pemasaran kearah digitalisasi menuntut pelaku UMKM untuk mengikutinya, sehingga perkembangan bisnis senantiasa berkembang. Hal tersebut juga menjadi perhatian oleh owner UMKM Rumah Lemon Pekanbaru (RLP). RLP merupakan usaha rumahan yang dikelola secara profesional dengan memanfaatkan lemon lokal sebagai bahan baku utama, berdiri sejak tahun 2017. Lemon lokal ini kemudian diolah sedemikian rupa, menjadi beberapa produk kesehatan, kecantikan, minuman dan perlengkapan dapur. Beberapa produk RLP sudah memiliki pasar tersendiri, dan dalam proses pemasarannya owner menggunakan sosial media dan marketplace. Pada tahun 2021 owner juga menggunakan website untuk pemasaran, namun owner mengeluhkan website yang ada saat ini memiliki beberapa kelemahan, sehingga pemesanan yang dilakukan dari website tidak memenuhi target. Owner menginginkan pengembangan website e-commerce, menggunakan fasilitas e-commerce wordpress, yakni woocommerce. Pengembangan website ini nantinya dapat mendukung pemasaran produk menjadi lebih massif dan tata kelola yang lebih baik. Owner juga mendapatkan infografis pelanggan yang potensial, klasifikasi pelanggan sudah dikelola otomatis, koneksi ke media pemasaran lainnya yang dimiliki lebih cepat dan praktis. Disamping itu pengelolaan pembayaran juga dapat dilakukan dengan mudah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini selanjutnya dapat membantu UMKM RLP untuk meningkatkan daya jual produk-produk olehan lemon lokal

Abstract

Badan Perencanaan, Pengembangan dan Penjaminan Mutu (BP3M) Politeknik Caltex Riau menggunakan website sebagai media untuk menyampaikan informasi terkait aktivitas perencanaan, pengembangan dan penjaminan mutu di Politeknik Caltex Riau. Mendapatkan informasi dan berkomunikasi melalui media yang mudah diakses merupakan hak setiap orang termasuk penyandang disabilitas. Oleh karena itu Informasi yang disampaikan pada website seharusnya dapat diakses oleh siapa saja. Penelitian ini melakukan evaluasi dan menganalisis aksesibilitas pada website BP3M, yang nantinya dapat dijadikan acuan dalam melakukan perbaikan terhadap website BP3M. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology (WCAG-EM). Tool yang digunakan pada evaluasi adalah AXE DevTools. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk memeriksa apakah website BP3M memenuhi kriteria aksesibilitas WCAG 2.0. Hasil evaluasi pada website BP3M menunjukkan bahwa seluruh halaman pada website BP3M belum memenuhi kriteria WCAG 2.0. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perlu dilakukan perbaikan pada website BP3M dengan memperhatikan WCAG 2.0 guidelines ataupun pedoman web accessibility lainnya. Abstract

Usability merupakan salah satu hal penting dalam situs web e-commerce. Hal ini terbukti pada penelitian yang dilakukan oleh User Interface Engineering, Inc., diketahui bahwa 60% waktu terbuang karena orang tidak dapat menemukan informasi yang ingin didapatnya pada suatu website dan ini berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas hingga mengalami kegagalan. Oleh karena itu, digunakanlah teknik yang harus berfokus kepada pengguna yaitu menggunakan pendekatan User Centered Design (UCD). Analisis akan dilakukan dengan membandingan antara existing product dengan development product. Development product adalah website yangakan dikembangkan dengan UCD menggunakan studi kasus toko online Dimahf. Existing product yang digunakan adalah Askalabel sebagai salah satu website e-commerce fashion hijab yang sudah berdiri tahun 2017.Evaluasi dilakukan dengan metode usability testing dan tools User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Setelah dilakukan pengujian dengan usability testing didapatkan hasil 100% task sukses dilakukan oleh responden meskipun pertama kali menggunakan kedua website. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil pengujian UEQ didapatkan hasil rata-rata dari seluruh aspek nilai Dima.hf lebih tinggi dari pada Askalabel yaitu 1,54 sedangkan Askalabel 1,26. Responden memiliki persepsi lebih positif terhadap Dima.hf dari pada Askalabel untuk aspek perpecuity, dependability dan novelty, sedangkan Askalabel unggul pada aspek attractiveness, stimulation, dan efficiency.

Abstract

Hewan peliharaan banyak digemari karena selain bentuknya yang lucu, hewan peliharaan dapat menjadi teman sehari-hari manusia dan memberi ketenangan pikiran. Banyaknya manusia yang memiliki hewan peliharaan membuat perkembangan bisnis dalam bidang jasa untuk penitipan hewan sangat berkembang. Terutama pada musim liburan, jasa penitipan sangat diminati oleh para pemelihara hewan. Akan tetapi untuk mencari tempat penitipan hewan terpercaya membutuhkan waktu untuk mencarinya apalagi ketika Pet Shop yang biasa dikunjungi sedang penuh. Untuk itu dibangunlah sebuah aplikasi penitipan hewan peliharaan yang memudahkan pemilik hewan peliharaan melakukan monitoring hewan yang dititipkan. Aplikasi berbasis iOS ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa Swift dan MySQL Database serta Cloud Firestore pada fitur Real-Time Chat. Kemudian dengan menggunakan JSON API pembayaran secara virtual juga sudah dapat dilakukan. Hasil pengujian black box yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi penitipan hewan telah berjalan dengan baik, kemudian berdasarkan pengujian usability testing kepada 30 responden didapatkan skor rata-rata SUS sebesar 87,13%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi yang dibangun dapat digunakan dengan mudah dan baik.
