Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the environment on the formation of children's character in Jogja Green School. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used interviews with school principals and class teachers, observations of children in Caterpillar A and Caterpillar classes as well as documentation studies such as daily plain activity, weekly plain activity, daily notes, and children's work documented in the classroom. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, then all data are presented with perfect and good exposure, and make conclusions and verify data. The results showed that the social environment significantly influenced the formation of children's character through learning strategies and methods. Jogja Green School together with parents and the community creates a conducive environment in forming good character of children. The school always communicates with the family through diary or meet directly related to the child's development, so parents understand that the education provided at home must be in accordance with the education available at the school, besides that the school or family has the task of providing stimulus to the community. The community does not teach children with negative words, does not scold the child when the child accidentally destroys neighboring plants but rather gives an understanding to the child, so the child must apologize when making a mistake.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang meliputi analisis data menggunakan persentase dengan metode survey yang dilaksanakan secara online. Pengumpulan data primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian, dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran kuesioner secara online kepada satu kelas perkuliahan mahasiwa perencanaan dan evaluasi AUD yang terdiri dari dua angkatan yaitu semester 2 (4) dan mahasiswa semester 4 (42) dengan jumlah total mahasiswa sebanya 46 orang. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini melalui pengisian berbagai pertanyaan yang telah dibagian kepada seluruh responden dalam bentuk google form, dan selanjutnya data yang telah terkumpul akan di analisis untuk dideskripsikan. komponen yang terdapat dalam koesioner tersebut terdiri adari 15 pertanyaan dengan menggunakan opsi jawaban sangat tidak setuju, tidak setuju, kurang setuju, setuju, dan sangat setuju. Adapun indikator dari koesioner tersebut memiliki 4 indikator yaitu sebagai berikut: 1)Respons mahasiswa dalam kemudahan mengakses aplikasi google classroom, 2)Pemahaman materi perkuliahan perencanaan dan evaluasi AUD dengan menggunakan google classroom, 3)Keefektifan penggunaan google classroom dalam perkuliahan daring, 4)Kemudahan google classroom dalam pengumpulan tugas matakuliah perencanaan dan evaluasi AUD. Dengan hasil analisis yang diperoleh mahasiswa memberikan tanggapan yang rata-rata dikategorikan dalam persentase kriteria sangat positifterhadap pemanfaatan google classroom dalam mengotimalkan proses belajar mengajar pada mata kuliah perencanaan dan evaluasi AUD dimasa Covid-19.  Kata Kunci: Pemanfatan, google classroom, perencanaandan evaluasi AUDABSTRACT. This research is a quantitative research that includes data analysis using percentages with a survey method conducted online. The primary data collection used in this study was carried out by distributing online questionnaires to a class of AUD planning and evaluation student lectures consisting of two batches, namely semester 2 (4) and semester 4 (42) students with a total number of 46 students. . The data that has been obtained in this study through filling out various questions that have been distributed to all respondents in the form of a google form, and then the data that has been collected will be analyzed for description. The components contained in the questionnaire consist of 15 questions using the answer options strongly disagree, disagree, disagree, agree, and strongly agree. The indicators of the questionnaire have 4 indicators, namely as follows: 1) Student responses in the ease of accessing the Google classroom application, 2) Understanding of AUD planning and evaluation lecture materials using Google classroom, 3) Effective use of Google classroom in online lectures, 4) Ease google classroom in collecting AUD planning and evaluation course assignments. With the results of the analysis obtained, students gave responses that were, on average, categorized in the percentage of very positive criteria for the use of google classroom in optimizing the teaching and learning process in AUD planning and evaluation courses during the Covid-19 period.Keyword: Utilization, google classroom, planning and evaluation AUD

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine the implementation of reward and punishment strategies implemented in KB-TK Rumah Cerdas in an effort to improve teacher discipline. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subject in this study was teacher of KB-TK Rumah Cerdas Malang. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The results showed that the implementation of reward and punishment strategies in teacher discipline management in KB-TK Rumah Cerdas is to sanction money fines for late teachers and gold awards for teachers whose discipline comes on time. The implementation of this strategy has been shown to help improve teacher discipline in KB-TK Rumah Cerdas. Keywords: discipline; teacher; reward; punishment Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti implementasi strategi reward and punishment yang diterapkan di KB-TK Rumah Cerdas Kota Malang dalam upaya meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru di KB-TK Rumah Cerdas Kota Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk implementasi strategi reward and punishment dalam manajemen kedisiplinan guru di KB-TK Rumah Cerdas adalah dengan pemberian sanksi denda uang bagi guru yang terlambat dan penghargaan berupa emas bagi guru yang disiplin datang tepat waktu. Penerapan strategi tersebut terbukti membantu meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru di KB-TK Rumah Cerdas. Kata kunci:  Kedisiplinan; guru; penghargaan; hukuman

Abstract

The uniqueness of learning in elementary school Sto. Rosario Montessori School Philippines Using the k-12 curriculum, by imitating the United States model, namely the Cooperative Learning model and the Communicative Learning approach. The purpose of this study is to design a teacher-student interaction model for basic education in Indonesia. This model is designed with the benchmarking Sto. Rosario Montessori School, Philippines. This research approach uses a qualitative approach. With the research method of level 1 R&D studies. Then qualitative data processing and data analysis were carried out. Data analysis gives meaning to the data from observations, interviews, documentation, and literature studies that have been collected so that they get a very important meaning in a study. Analyzing qualitative data can be done by reducing data, displaying data, and data conclusions. The result of this research is the design of the teacher-student interaction model for elementary school students which contains the philosophy, concepts, mechanisms and general guidelines for the application of the model. The model in this study uses cooperative learning and communicative learning. (1) The philosophy of the model “students are unique creatures”; (2) The concept of the model: cases, individual conditions of students and solving cases faced by students; (3) The model mechanism: (a) Mapping of students’ conditions; (b) Teacher training on leadership patterns; (c) The teacher classifies the students’ condition; (d) implementation of teaching and learning; (4) General instructions for implementing the designed model.

Abstract

Blended learning carried out during the covid-19 pandemic has changed the learning system from online to combined with offline. Currently starting with the government policy to apply lectures with a blended learning system in various universities, secondary education, basic education, and early childhood education. The blended learning system at UIN Mataram demands changes in new learning styles in its application, starting from supporting media, applications used, delivery of learning materials, and learning models between lecturers and students. UIN Mataram has implemented blended learning with the LMS (Learning Management System) application. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the blended learning model that has taken place at UIN Mataram with a good LMS system. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, and qualitative data obtained through observation, documentation, and interviews with credible sources. The analysis was carried out inductively, the data collected continued to be reduced and verified, and continued until meaningful final findings were found. The results showed that learning at the PIAUD UIN Mataram study program used a blended learning strategy with a percentage of 70:30, namely 70% online and 30% face-to-face. The use of Moodle based LMS assistance helps students and lecturers in carrying out blended learning lectures effectively

Abstract

The epidemic of coronavirus disease 19 (Covid-19) has dominated the world for about two years. This disrupts all human activity, one of which is in the field of education. Learning during a pandemic really worries teachers and parents  about  learning that schools provide students with an online system. Therefore, researchers want to see the online learning process during a pandemic. The purpose of this study was to find a learning system for the TK Satu Atap Lima Puluh in Kabupaten Batu Bara, Sumatera Utara during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method chosen in this study is qualitatively descriptive. Observations and interviews were used to collect data. The respondents to the survey were parents of one teacher and four students. The data analysis technique used is to describe exactly what the researcher receives. The  research phase begins with observations, interviews,  data reductions, and data analysis. The results showed that the learning process still followed the demands of parents and schools, the learning media did not vary much even mostly only used blackboards and markers and the teacher only explained what was written. Researchers recommend that this research  be done on a larger scale so that more meaningful learning can be applied to other educational environments.

Abstract

The era of globalization has required humans to utilize international language as a means of communication. Many educational institutions implement a bilingual program, such as the one implemented by MA Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani. The purpose of this study is to analyze the challenges of students in the bilingual program. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were used to observe the process of implementing the bilingual program at MA Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani. Interviews were used to obtain information on the development of the bilingual program. The analysis in this study uses descriptive qualitative. The study results indicate that the challenge of students in the Bilingual program at MA Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani begins with applying two languages. It is done by introducing what language is. After the introduction stage, the students are asked to memorize the vocabulary given, with the aim that students can interact using the two languages, but based on the results of research in the field, many students have difficulty memorizing vocabulary because of the density of the hours of this subject causes problems for students. However, the teachers motivate students to keep learning the language to facilitate learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Dengan adanya pandemi Covid-19 maka diambillah kebijakan social distancing atau lebih dikenal dengan physical distancing yang artinya menjaga jarak fisik. Kebijakan ini diambil untuk menghambat penyebaran virus dengan berupaya memecah kemungkinan kerumunan akan terjadi. Kemdikbud merespon kebijakan ini dengan memunculkan kebijakan belajar dari rumah melalui pembelajaran daring (dalam jaringan. Dengan bagaimanapun keadaanya pembelajaran harus tetap berjalan. Guru harus mampu mengoptimalkan dan mengkondisikan proses pembelajaran dengan baik. Dalam aspek kognisi atau kemampuan berfikir, pada masa usia dini (0-6 tahun) terjadi perubahan yang dramatis. Perkembangan yang terjadi bukan hanya secara kuantitatif, tetapi juga kualitatif. Intelegensi memang memainkan peran  penting dalam kehidupan seseorang, walaupun intelegensi bukanlah satu-satunya faktor yang menentukan sukses atau tidaknya kehidupan seseorang. Mengingat betapa pentingnya perkembangan kogitif bagi anak, maka diharapkan guru mampu mengkondisikan dan memberikan pembelajaran dengan optimal supaya perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini dapat terstimulus dengan baik. Berkaitan dengan penelitian tersebut, penulis melakukan penelitian tentang cara pengoptimalisasian pembelajaran dimasa pandemi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini. Penlitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Dari penelitian ini dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pemilihan metode pembelajaran homevisit dan daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi whatsaap dengan memanfaatkan fitur wagrup dan videocall ternyata mampu menjaga semangat dan ketertarikan anak dalam belajar meskipun pandemi sedang mewabah, sehingga kemampuan kognitif anak dapat terus meningkat tanpa mengalami hambatan yang berarti.Kata Kunci:  pembelajaran dimasa pandemi, kemampuan kognitif ABSTRACT. With the Covid-19 pandemic, a social distancing policy was adopted or better known as physical distancing, which means maintaining physical distance. This policy was taken to curb the spread of the virus by trying to break down the likelihood that swarms would occur. The Ministry of Education and Culture responds to this policy by creating a policy of learning from home through online learning (online. After all, learning must continue to run. Teachers must be able to optimize and condition the learning process well. In terms of cognition or thinking ability, at an early age (0-) 6 years) there has been a dramatic change. The development that occurs is not only quantitative, but also qualitative. Intelligence does play an important role in a person's life, even though intelligence is not the only factor that determines the success or failure of a person's life. Given how important cognitive development is for children, it is hoped that teachers are able to condition and provide optimal learning so that early childhood cognitive development can be stimulated properly. In connection with this research, the authors conducted research on how to optimize learning during the pandemic period in enhancing the cognitive abilities of early childhood. This research uses qualitative research with the type of case study research. From this research, it can be concluded that the selection of homevisit and online learning methods using the WhatsApp application by utilizing the wagrup and videocall features is able to maintain children's enthusiasm and interest in learning even though the pandemic is endemic, so that children's cognitive abilities can continue to increase without experiencing significant obstacles. Keyword: learning during the pandemic, cognitive abilities

Abstract

One of the efforts of developing foreign language skills in early childhood is listening skills. Various kinds of listening activities that can be applied to early childhood are packed with interesting and fun activities. One of the methods for listening to non-stop that invites children to actively participate is the interactive read aloud method. The purpose of this study is to review  interactive read aloud method as an effort to improve foreign language skills in early childhood. The results of the discussion showed that foreign language learning with the interactive read aloud method is effective and can invite children to actively participate, understand the text, and be able to retell the story that is being played
