Abstract

Penambangan pasir dan batu (penambangan golongan C) dan aktivitas penangkapan ikan yang dilakukan terus menerus dalam jangka panjang diduga dapat merubah ekosistem sungai Logawa. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang pengaruh aktivitas tersebut terhadap ketersediaan stok dan jenis ikan, pertumbuhan dan kelestarianya membuat penurunan kualitas ekosistem sungai Logawa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengungkap kualitas perairan meliputi faktor fisika (suhu, kecerahan, dan kecepatan arus), faktor kimia (pH dan kandungan oksigen), dan faktor biologi (plankton)   serta profil reproduksi ikan di sungai Logawa wilayah Kabupaten Banyumas. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa sungai Logawa Kualitas perairan Sungai Logawa  wilayah Kabupaten Banyumas berdasar faktor fisika, kimia, dan biologi masih berada dalam kondisi baik untuk kehidupan dan perkembangan ikan. Penghitungan fekunditas ikan yang diperoleh selama penelitian menunjukkan nilai yang rendah, yaitu kurang dari 1.000 butir.Tingkat Kematangan Gonad (TKG) ikan berada dalam beberapa tingkatan, artinya ikan dapat melakukan pemijahan sepanjang tahun. Indeks Kematangan Gonad (IKG) ikan hasil tangkapan berada pada kisaran rata-rata kurang dari 20 %, artinya ikan tersebut dapat memijah lebih dari satu kali setiap tahunnya. Rasio kelamin ikan menunjukkan perbandingan jumlah ikan betina dan  dan jantan tidak seimbang, yaitu jumlah betina lebih banyak hal ini berarti populasi masih dapat dipertahankan. Kata kunci : Profil Reproduksi, Fekunditas, TKG, IKG, Rasio Kelamin

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengungkap komunitas makrofauna tanah yang meliputi cacah individu, keanekaragaman dan dominansi serta kualitas lingkungan tanah di lahan eks TPA Gunung Tugel Desa Kedung Randu Kecamatan Patikraja Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode yang digunakan adalah purposive random sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan selama enam bulan yaitu bulan Januari-Juni 2021 sebanyak enam kali dengan interval waktu selama satu bulan yaitu waktu siang hari (pukul 06.00 – 08.00) dan malam hari (pukul 18.00-20.00). Pengambilan sampel tanah dan pengukuran kualitas tanah dilakukan di dua lokasi penelitian, yaitu lokasi I di area sebelah utara dan timur lahan eks TPA Gunung Tugel dan lokasi II di area sebelah barat dan selatan lahan eks TPA Gunung Tugel. Hasil sampling diidentifikasi menggunakan mikroskop  dan mengacu pada buku An Introduction to the Study of Insect dan buku Ekologi Hewan Tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan cacah individu makrofauna tanah diperoleh sebanyak 1612 ekor yang termasuk kedalam 16 spesies, 13 Famili, dan 8 Ordo. Indeks keanekaragaman makrofauna tanah tergolong sedang yaitu kisaran 1,006 – 1,098 dengan rata-rata sebesar 1,066. Indeks dominansi makrofauna tanah pada lahan eks TPA Gunung Tugel tergolong kedalam kategori rendah dengan nilai kisaran antara 0,334 – 0,489 dengan rata-rata 0,374.

Sungai Logawa mempunyai kualitas perairan baik sehingga sesuai untuk mendukung kehidupan ikan. Struktur umur ikan di Sungai Logawa sebagian besar berada pada kisaran kecil atau rendah, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ikan di Sungai Logawa sebagian besar adalah ikan muda. Faktor kondisi (harga b) dari 20 spesies yang berhasil didapat termasuk kategori kurus, hal ini menunjukkan ikan memiliki pola pertumbuhan allometrik yang berarti pertumbuhan panjang tidak seimbang dengan pertumbuhan berat.Kata kunci : Struktur Umur, Faktor Kondisi, Kualitas Perairan, Sungai Logawa

Abstract

This research was purposed to reveal and discover fish community in Pelus River, Banyumas Residency. It includes: (1) water quality which include physical and chemical parameters and plankton species variation, (2) Fish diversity, (3) Fish age structure was based weight and total length. Research done by survey methods, with purposive random sampling methode. The research was conducted in Pelus River Region of Banyumas Residency, which were location one (upstream of Pelus River), location two (middlestream of Pelus River), and location three (downstream of Pelus River). This Research applied survey method, with purposive random sampling technique. Research was done in eight months which replicated every month, since December 2016 untill May 2017. Result indicated that nesearch fishes caught were as many as 544 fishes divided to 18 Species, eight Family and five Ordo. Water quality factor including aquatic physical and chemical parameters, which were temperature, flowrate, clarity, dissolved oxygen and pH and bilogical parameter (plankton)  variation in Pelus River Banyumas Residency were in good condition and suitable for fish life. Cyprinidae Family found as most variated species and most founded spesies in individual number at Pelus River Banyumas Residency. There were low species diversity, but there weren’t found any dominancies. Fish species diversity in Pelus river low. Age structure shows the condition of fish in Pelus River of Banyumas regency is in a vulnerable condition, so it needs attention in order to conserve fish species. Keywords: Fish diversity, age structure, Pelus river, Banyumas

Abstract

Research on the implementation model of  Problem Based Learning Instruction (PBI) based on the increased activity of planting the character and attitude of cognitive science study conducted on students of class VII MTs Negeri Model Purwokerto. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PBI learning model to the increased activity of learning and cognitive attitudes of students in the material ecosystem. The method used is an experimental method with pre-test and post-test control group. The study population was all students of class VII (there are 5 classes) with cluster random sampling technique. Class VII-C number of 32 students as the control class while class VII-E were 34 students as a class experiment. Observed learning activities include activities asked, noting the teacher's explanation, and the activity of searching for learning resources. Cognitive attitude characteristic observed included the character of curiosity, tolerance and hard work. The results showed that the effect of PBI models significance to the improvement of science learning activities by 28.25%, while its influence on the improvement of cognitive attitude and level of learning outcomes have varied significansinya Keywords: model of learning, character based learning, learning activities, cognitive attitude, science learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal and describe the growth pattern and profile of fish reproduction and water quality at Serayu River in Banyumas District. This research was conducted using survey method with purposive random sampling technique. The research was conducted in three research locations, each study location was determined by three research stations, and each research station was determined by three sampling points. Fish sampling using fishing nets and hand web, conducted 10 times sampling for each tool at each sampling point. Fish from sampling results were identified by key identification of fish according to Saanin (1968; 1984); Kottelat et al., (1993) and verified at Pusat Penelitian Biologi Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LBN-LIPI) Cibinong and www. FishBase. org. Analysis of condition factor, fecundity, maturity level of gonad, gonad maturity index, and sex ratio based on Susanto (2015); Lagler et al. (1977), and Effendie (1979). Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded: (1) The quality of waters including physical and chemical parameters of waters, namely: temperature, current velocity, water brightness, dissolved oxygen content and pH and variation of plankton species at Serayu River in Banyumas District are in good condition and suitable for fish life. (2) Reproductive profile of fish at Serayu River in Banyumas District is not ideal.

Abstract

Soil is a habitat for various types of fauna, especially macrofauna and soil mesofauna. In general, fertile soil can be found on land used for agricultural activities. The purpose of this study was to determine and reveal the community structure of soil macrofauna and mesofauna which includes individual count, diversity, and dominance as well as environmental quality on agricultural land in Pliken Village, Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency in 2021. The study was carried out in January-June 2021. by using survey method and purposive random sampling technique. Sampling of soil macrofauna and mesofauna was carried out in three locations, namely agricultural land in the west, north, and south of the village. Data sampling was carried out in the morning (07.00-09.00 am) and at night (19.00-21.00 am) 6 times with an interval of once a month. Soil macrofauna and meofuana that had been obtained were identified using the Taxonomy and Identification Key book. An Introduction to the Study of Insects and other references related to the identification of soil macrofauna During the study, 2717 soil macrofauna were found which belong to 15 Orders, 31 Families and 40 Species, while for soil mesofauna, 500 individuals were obtained which belong to 14 Orders, 18 Families. and 21 species.The highest individual count for soil macrofauna came from the Formicideae family (86.86%), while the highest individual count for soil mesofauna came from the Isotomideae family (27%). The index of soil macrofauna diversity on agricultural land in Pliken Village ranged from 0.997- 1,789 with an average of 1,287 which means the level of diversity is moderate, while the index Soil mesofauna diversity ranges from 1.13 to 2.15 with an average of 1.65 which means the level of diversity is moderate. Soil macrofauna dominance index is moderate with a range of 0.264 - 0.546 which indicates that there is still dominance by certain soil macrofauna, namely the Formicideae (ant) family, while the soil mesofauna dominance index ranges from 0.13 to 0.38 with an average of 0.23 which indicates the absence of a predominant species. Abstract

This study aims to identify and reveal the soil fauna community which includes individual counts, diversity and dominance as well as the quality of the soil environment in the former landfills Gunung Tugel land, Kedung Randu Village, Patikraja District, Banyumas Regency. The method used is purposive random sampling. Sampling was carried out for six months, during January-June 2021, six times with an interval of one month, at day (06.00 - 08.00) and night (18.00-20.00). Soil sampling and soil quality measurements were carried out at two research locations, location I in the northern and eastern areas of the ex-landfills Gunung Tugel area and location II in the western and southern areas of the ex- landfills Gunung Tugel area. The results of the sampling were identified using a microscope and referred to the book An Introduction to the Study of Insects and the book Ecology of Soil Animals. The results showed that 394 individuals of soil mesofauna were counted which belonged to 12 orders, 15 families and 17 species. The diversity index is classified as moderate, in the range of 0.970 - 1.097 with an average of 1.045. The dominance index is relatively low, ranging from 0.335 to 0.423 with an average of 0.367 and shows that no species dominates. The quality of the soil environment of the former Gunung Tugel landfills is classified as not yet feasible to support the life of the soil mesofauna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengungkap cacah individu, keanekaragaman dan dominansi ikan serta kualitas perairan di Sungai Pelus wilayah Kabupaten Banyumas tahun 2019. Metode yag digunakan adalah survey dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada bulan Januari – Juni tahun 2019 sebanyak enam kali interval waktu selama satu bulan yaitu waktu siang hari (pukul 07.00 – 10.00) dan malam hari (pukul 19.00 – 22.00). Pengambilan sampel ikan dan pengukuran parameter kualitas air dilakukan di tiga lokasi penelitian, yaitu Lokasi I di Desa Pandak sebagai daerah hulu, Lokasi II di Desa Arcawinangun sebagai daerah pertengahan, dan Lokasi III di Desa Pajerukan sebagai daerah hilir. Hasil sampling diidentifikasi dan diverifikasi di www.fishbase.org. Hasil penelitian memperoleh cacah individu sebanyak 351 ekor ikan yang termasuk ke dalam 17 spesies, 9 famili dan 5 ordo. Indek keanekaragaman ikan tergolong rendah yaitu kisaran antara 0,1 – 0,27 dengan rata-rata sebesar 0,16. Indeks dominansi ikan di Sungai Pelus tergolong sedang dengan nilai kisaran antara 0,001 – 1,000 dengan rata-rata 0,318 hal ini disebabkan adanya dominansi famili Cyprinidae. Kualitas perairan masih tergolong baik untuk kehidupan ikan.Â

Abstract

Ikan nilem (Osteochilus vittatus) merupakan salah satu ikan endemik Indonesia yang banyak digemari masyarakat, namun reproduksi dan pertumbuhan ikan nilem relatif lambat oleh karena itu diperlukan bahan pendukung untuk meningkatkan reproduksi dan pertumbuhan. Bahan pendukung yang digunakan adalah tepung spirulina (Spirulina platensis). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon dan dosis optimal penambahan Spirulina platensis dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan reproduksi benih ikan nilem. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari-April 2022, di laboratorium basah Akuakultur dan laboratorium Zoologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi Gonadal Somatic Index (GSI), Visera Somatic Index (VSI), Hepato Somatic Index (HSI), Tingkat Kematangan Gonad (TKG) dan pertumbuhan (pertambahan panjang dan berat mutlak). Data respon  reproduksi ikan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis variansi ANOVA dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%  dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut dengan uji Duncan pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Penambahan tepung spirulina (Spirulina platensis) pada pakan ikan nilem (Osteochilus vittatus) memberikan pengaruh nyata pada nilai VSI, kemudian memberikan pengaruh berbeda nyata pada parameter pertumbuhan (berat) dengan dosis optimum pada perlakuan P1 (20g/kg). Hal ini menunjukkan penambahan tepung spirulina pada pakan berpotensi meningkatkan nilai VSI dan pertumbuhan ikan.
