Abstract

The era of globalization demands education institution to be adaptive, creative, and innovative, including Islamic boarding schools as the institutions of Islamic education which become the national cultural heritage. One of the innovative programs is capacity building as a series of strategies aimed at increasing efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness of performance. This study was directed to explore capacity building implementation at Darul Amin Islamic modern boarding school Southeast Aceh. A qualitative research approach with a case study as the research strategy was implemented. The results of the study showed that capacity building focused on three dimensions, namely (1) human resource development; (2) organizational strengthening, and (3) institutional reform. The principle of Darul Amin capacity building contained the elements of participation, repetition, relevance, transfer, and feedback. In the process of capacity building, there were four stages, namely (1) pre-formal stage (pilot education organization); (2) formal stage (potential education organization); (3) transitional stage (national standard education organization); and (4) autonomous stage (international standard education organization). Towards the existence of the institution, Darul Amin also made various efforts at various levels, namely the system level, organizational level, and individual level.

Abstract

The author of the Book of Al-Akhlak Lil Banin is Al-Ustadz 'Umar bin Achmad Baradja, he is a scholar who has very noble character. Since childhood he was raised and educated by his maternal grandfather, Shaykh Hasan bin Muhammad Baradja, a scholar of nahwu and fiqh. Nasab Baradja comes from Seiwun, Hadramaut, Yemen. The spirit of struggle carried out by Al-Ustadz 'Umar bin Achmad Baradja to spread religion and form good moral character in early childhood in Indonesia in general and in Ampel in particular, who saw the moral damage that had undermined the morals of teenagers at that time. So that Al-Ustadz 'Umar Baradja composed as well as compiled the book Al-Akhlak Lil Banin to guide them to always do positive things, such as keeping their bodies clean, clothes, to morals to Allah SWT, parents, teachers, friends and so on. , and the character most described by him is the character of social care. The problems that will be discussed are, (1) Who is Al-Ustadz 'Umar Baradja and his activities (2) What is the thought of Al-Ustadz 'Umar Baradja in the book Al-Akhlak Lil Banin . The thoughts of Al-Ustadz 'Umar Baradja in the book Al-Akhlak Lil Banin are more focused on special morals for boys, because they are prepared for the future to become leaders. If he grows up in noble character and grows up with the right education, he will also become a role model and be obeyed by his children in particular and the wider community in general

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat dan membuktikan, sejauh mana guru bersertifikasi di SD Negeri Balirejo Yogyakarta merealisasikan keprofesionalannya. Sebab, ketika pemerintah telah menjamin mutu guru yang lulus sertifikasi sebagai guru profesional yang telah teruji kompetensinya serta terpenuhi hak-haknya, maka guru dituntut bekerja maksimal dan profesional demi meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Nasional. Peneliti juga membandingkannya, dengan kualitas guru-guru non-sertifikasi di sekolah yang sama. Penelitian kualitatif ini menjadikan seluruh guru SD Negeri Balirejo Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 9 orang, sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan Metode Triangulasi (observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi). Teknik deskriptif-analisis, digunakan untuk mengulas dan menganasis data temuan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah, bahwa tingkat pencapaian implementasi keprofesionalan guru-guru bersertifikasi masih rendah. Legalitas sertifikasi pendidik, tidak menjamin terciptanya guru profesional. Sebaliknya, kompetensi guru non-sertifikasi belum tentu tidak profesional, realita di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa guru non-sertifikasi sudah ada yang dapat dinilai sebagai guru ideal dan profesional. Untuk menuntaskan problem ini penulis memberikan beberapa rekomendasi: 1). Reinforcement, 2). Reorientasi tujuan, 3). Monitoring dan evaluasi, 4). Self kontrol dan Self correction, 5). Kontrol social, dan 6). Konstribusi.

Abstract

Guru adalah sebuah profesi. Profesionalitas guru tentunya sangat terkait denganmanajemen kerja guru dalam membuat perencanaan, yang kemudian mengaplikasikanya dengan mengajar dikelas,pengelolaan kelas adalah penyediaan fasilitas bagi bermacam-macam kegiatan belajar siswa dalam lingkungan sosial, emosional, dan intelektual dalam kelas. Fasilitas yang disediakan itu memungkinkan siswa belajar dan bekerja, terciptanya suasana sosial yang memberikan kepuasan, suasana disiplin, perkembangan intelektual, emosional dan sikap serta apresiasi pada siswa, inti dari pengelolaan kelas adalah menyeimbankan pengelolaan siswa dan pengelolan fasilitas.
