Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of learning motivation and the use of instructional media on learning achievement of sixth graders at SDN Mayangan 6 Probolinggo. Thirty three (33) students were invoked as the participants. As the result, it shows that there is a significant influence of learning motivation on learning achievement, the use instructional media on learning achievement, and learning motivation and the use of instructional media simultaneously on learning achievement of sixth graders at SDN Mayangan 6 Probolinggo.

Abstract

The research was conducted on 3 components of Green Open Space (GOS) in Jakarta,namely landscaping, agriculture and forestry. The research objective was to determine thedistribution and  extensive of Existing Green Open Space in Jakarta in 2012, and to identifythe potential opportunity areas to fulfill the target of 30% GOS in Jakarta. Searchdistribution is done with Landsat TM imagery aids Band 54 corrected in 2011 by analyzingthe vegetation index values   (NDVI). Search area opportunity to meet the target of 30% wasthe buffer zone (river banks, beaches and water tanks), as well as the areas that haveawakened to meet the obligation Law. 26 of 2007. The results showed the existing greenopen space in Jakarta in 2012 was 7,842.61 ha (13.27%) of the total land area of Jakarta.realization Landscaping recorded 2,718.37 ha, 1,950.08 ha Forestry, and Agriculture2,813.29 ha . The opportunity potential areas to fulfill the target recorded more of 10,003.92ha.

Abstract

Abstrak Siswa Papua mengikuti program pemerintah yaitu UP4B (Unit Percepatan Pembangunan Papua dan Papua Barat).Sebagai pendatang dengan keadaan minoritas di lingkungan yang baru, siswa Papua dituntut untuk mampu beradapatasi dengan lingkungan masyarakat Lamongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan strategi adaptasi siswa Papua di kota Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori strategi adaptasi dari John Bennet dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi dan wawancara mendalam.Analisis data yang digunakan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa strategi adaptasi sosial siswa Papua di kota Lamongan yang dikaji dari teori John Bennet dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa Papua menggunakan strategi adaptasi perilaku untuk menghadapi perbedaan di lingkungan yang baru, strategi adaptasi siasat untuk menghadapi resistensi atau penolakan, kemudian menggunakan strategi adaptasi proses digunakan untuk mencari kesamaan di lingkungan yang baru. Strategi adaptasi perilaku lebih dominan dilakukan oleh siswa Papua dalam melakukan adaptasi dalam menghadapi perbedaan. Kata Kunci: strategi adaptasi sosial, Papua Abstract Papua students joined a goverment program, UP4B (Unit for the acceleration of Development of Papuan and west Papua). As minority newcomers in the new environment. The student are required to be able to adapt with Lamongan society. This study aims to reveal the adaptation strategies of John W. Bennet and qualitatif approach. Data analysis use data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclution using data trianggulasi.This study result that Papua student social adaptation strstegy in Lamongan studied by using the theory of John W. Bennet states that Papua students used behaviorial adaptation strategies to deal with the differences in the new environment. A strategy of adaptation strategies to deal with resistence or rejection, and a process of adaptation strategis to look for similiarites of culture and language in the ne environment. Of the three strategies of John W. Bennet, behavioral adaptation strategy was chosen more by Papua student. Keywords: strategies adaptation social, Papua

Abstract

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has become one of the catalysts for learning models changes around the world, including Mandarin Language Education Study Program Faculty of Languages ​​and Arts, State University of Jakarta also adapted online distance learning.This article focuses on online distance learning evaluation of basic reading skills courses held at PSPBM UNJ. The scopes of this research are the learning media used, technical constraints and efforts to overcome, and how online distance learning affects students motivation.This research uses quantitative and qualitative methods, by conducting surveys, and using qualitative analysis in the discussion. This research instrument is a mixed questionnaire, which is a combination of open and closed questionnaires using google form. Respondents are PSPBM students and lecturers. This research data are information related to media, obstacles and efforts, also motivation.The results of this research are reading skills online distance learning reading skills used several learning media, such Whatsapp, Zoom, Google Classroom, online game applications. The use of learning media encourage lecturers creativity to choose and use appropriate learning models. In addition, online distance learning also demands student independence in learning. There is a student-centered learning model using project-based learning (such as audio/video recordings of reading words, phrases, sentences, texts) and problem-based learning (such as reading comprehension, discussion) which can be implemented in learning reading skills.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has become a catalyst for changing learning models around the world, including the Mandarin Language Education Program (PSPBM) Faculty of Languages ​​and Arts, State University of Jakarta (FBS UNJ) which has also changed from a conventional (face-to-face) learning model to online distance learning.When the pandemic has ended, back to face-to-face learning in the classroom may be faced with the problem of limited time and space. Current technological developments can be considered and utilized as a solution, by developing online distance learning.One aspect that need to be considered on Developing online distance learning is the aspect of utilizing online applications that are used in learning activities. This article will specifically describe the results of research on the use of online applications in online distance learning activities during the pandemic for Mandarin Grammar Courses at PSPBM FBS UNJ.This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data was obtained through interviews with supporting lecturers. Through this research, information was obtained that the online applications used were Whatsapp, Zoom, and Google Classroom. It is hoped that the explanation of the utilization, selection considerations, and the supervisor's views on these three applications can be considered by who will or who are developing online distance learning.

Abstract

The pandemic has changed the world education and learning models around theworld. Face to face learning has turned to online distance learning, including atSMA/MA/SMK level. PJJ consists of online distance learning and offline distancelearning. Online distance leaning is using electronic media through portals and onlinelearning applications with internet network learning. This research aims to find out theobstacles facedin terms of the use of electronic media, internet, and Learning Management System(LMS) in online distance learning at SMA / MA / SMK in Jabodetabek of Mandarinteachers. This research is a survey study. The data was obtained using questionnaire.The respondents are 50 applied Mandarin learning at SMA/MA/SMK teachers inJabodetabek. The result shows that the obstacles faced by teachers are theunavailability of electronic media, limited resource in operating electronic media,electronic media does not supported by certain specifications or features, the damageof electronic media, the Operating System (OS) is not the latest, expensives internetcost, slow internet network, LMS does not supported certain featires, in additionteachers do nit understand how to operate the LMS. The results of this research can beconsidered input for education field, specifically those that are directly related toMandarin online distance learning,as well as being considered to overcome Mandarinonline distance learning.

Abstract

Online Distance Learning (online PJJ) at the Jakarta State University Mandarin Language Education Study Program (PSPBM UNJ) was initiated by "compulsion" due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but in its journey, online PJJ was seen as a program worth developing. Online PJJ is seen as an option to overcome space and time limitations. Therefore PSPBM UNJ intends to carry out activities for the Development of Chinese Language Online PJJ Models. This activity is the initiation of the Mandarin Language PJJ Daring Program development activity. In order to guarantee the quality of an activity or program, an evaluation activity is absolutely necessary. The word Evaluation comes from the English evaluation which contains the basic word value "value". The word value or value in evaluation terms is related to the belief that something is good or bad, right or wrong, strong or weak, sufficient or not enough, and so on. As the first stage of the Mandarin Language Online PJJ Model Development activity, in 2021 PSPBM UNJ has carried out evaluation activities on the implementation of online PJJ during the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity is carried out through student thesis research activities. Research activities are focused on evaluating the implementation of online PJJ linguistics courses which cover 4 language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as Mandarin knowledge courses, namely Grammar. Each study includes research on the conditions of student motivation, the obstacles faced by students, and online learning media used in learning activities. The results of this research are contained in fifteen thesis research reports of PSPBM UNJ students. This article discusses the overall results of this research.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah membuat dunia pendidikan berpacu mengubah diri. Pada masa pandemi, pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Indonesia berganti menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh dalam jaringan (PJJ daring) termasuk pada jenjang SMA. Pada pelaksanaan PJJ daring, berbagai aplikasi berbasis internet digunakan untuk menunjang pembelajaran, termasuk pembelajaran mata pelajaran Bahasa Mandarin. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan aplikasi digital pada pembelajaran mata pelajaran Bahasa Mandarin di SMA yang berlokasi di Jakarta, yaitu SMAN 11, SMAN 19, dan SMAN 64 Jakarta. Aplikasi digital digunakan untuk melaksanakan keterampilan komperhensif bahasa Mandarin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini memaparkan bahwa terdapat aplikasi yang paling banyak digunakan di ketiga SMA tersebut. Hasil observasi menunjukkan, terdapat tiga aplikasi yang digunakan pada pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin, yaitu (1) Aplikasi Zoom digunakan di SMAN 11 Jakarta; (2) Aplikasi Google Classroom digunakan di SMAN 19 Jakarta, (3) Aplikasi Spotify digunakan di SMAN 64 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk menambah wawasan terkait pemanfaatan aplikasi digital sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin selama PJJ daring. Selain itu dapat menjadi salah satu referensi pengajar dalam mengembangkan variasi media pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin.
