Abstract

Kebudayaan masyarakat dalam suatu daerah atau wilayah yang terdiri atas kelompok-kelompok suku tertentu dan memiliki bahasa daerahnya tersendiri. Demikian pula dengan masyarakat Ndungga, termasuk yang tinggal dan berdomisili di wilayah Desa Ndungga Kecamatan Ende Tengah Kabupaten Ende memiliki bahasa daerahnya tersendiri yang dikenal dengan bahasa Ende. Sebagai alat komunikasi, bahasa Ende digunakan dalam berbagai ragam interaksi dalam kehidupan masyarakat Ende (khususnya masyarakat Ndungga), mulai dari ragam komunikasi sehari-hari sampai pada komunikasi dalam berbagai upacara adat. Salah satu diantara sekian banyak seremonial adat yang menggunakan bahasa Ende (khususnya masyarakat Ndungga) sebagai media komunikasi yang efektif adalah pada bentuk upacara dalam  bahasa Ende saat  menempati rumah baru yang disebut dengan Upacara Maso Sa’o Nggua Baru yang berarti menempati rumah baru. Maso Sa’o ini merupakan acara  yang dibuat masyarakat setempat secara turun temurun dan bersifat mengikat atau wajib. Hewan yang disembelih untuk memberi makan nenek moyang saat acara Maso Sa’o yaitu ayam, tetapi bagi orang yang memiliki kemampuan ekonomi lebih tinggi bisa juga hewan lain seperti babi. Acara ini harus disaksikan oleh sanak keluarga dari pemilik rumah, ari kae berserta anak perempuan dan anak  laki-laki. Tujuan dari upacara Maso Sa’o Nggua Baru ini, ialah untuk mendamaikan pemilik rumah dengan roh penjaganya serta ucapan syukur pemilik rumah kepada Tuhan dan para leluhur, seraya memohon perlindungan bagi semua orang yang menghuni rumah baru tersebut.Kata kunci: tuturan adat, upacara, Maso Sa’o, Nggua Baru  The culture of society in a region or region consisting of certain ethnic groups and has its own regional language. Similarly, the Ndungga people, including those who live and reside in the Ndungga village area of Ende Central District of Ende Regency has its own regional language known as Ende language. As a means of communication, the Ende language is used in a wide variety of interactions in the lives of the people of Ende (especially Ndungga people), ranging from the various communication everyday to the communication in various traditional ceremonies. One of the many traditional ceremonial that used the language of Ende (especially the Ndungga community) as an effective communication medium is on the form of ceremonies in the Ende language when occupying a new home called the new Maso Sa'o Nggua ceremony which means occupying a new home. "Maso Sa'o" is an event made by the local community as a hereditary and binding or compulsory. Animals slaughtered to feed ancestors during the event “Maso sa'o” is chicken, but for people who have economic ability can also other animals such as pigs. This event must be witnessed by relatives of homeowners, Ari Kae with girls and boys. The purpose of Maso Sa’o Nggua Baru's ceremony, is to reconcile the homeowner with the spirit of the house owner and the thanksgiving of the Landlord to God and the ancestors, while applying for protection for all those who inhabit the new home.Keywords: uttearance of customs, ceremony, Maso Sa’o, Nggua Baru

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar setelah menggunakan modifikasi kardus sebagai sarana olah raga lompat jauh pada siswa kelas IV di SD Impres Ende 12. Subjek penelitianadalah siswa kelas  IV sebanyak 27 orang. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian tindakan kelas dengan prosedur penelitian mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi, yang terdiri dari dua siklus.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi dan test. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menghitung nilai hasil test masing-masing siswa dan persentasi ketuntasan belajar. Berdasarkan hasil test diketahui bahwa ketuntasan belajar mengalami peningkatan. Pada silkus 1 persentasi ketuntasan belajar yaitu 11%  dan meningkat pada siklus 2 sebesar 100%. Rata-rata nilai siswa memenuhi KKM yaitu 75.  Proses pembelajaran olah raga lompat jauh dengan saranakardus yang dimodifikasi memberikan kemudahan kepada siswa untuk selalu aktif dan berani melakukan gerakan lompat tinggi secara mudah, menyenangkan, riang gembira, dan memberikan suasana yang baru yang belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya. Saat melaksanakan olah raga lompat jauh siswa tidak mengalami keraguan,tegang, gugup, dan ketakutan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan sarana kardus yang dimodifikasi dalam pembelajaran olah raga lompat jauh berdampak positif pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SDI Ende 12.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the professional competence of Grade IV Indonesian teachers at The Central Ende Catholic Primary School in Ende Regency. Professional competence relates to the teacher's ability to master materials and teaching tasks. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in this study were Indonesian teachers, principals, and grade IV students. The object of this research is the professional competence of teachers of Bahasa Indonesia subjects. Data collection using interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis is conducted descriptively qualitatively. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the professional competence of Indonesian teachers in grade IV in Catholic primary schools in Central Ende subdistrict is relatively good. Professional competencies that have been mastered by teachers include the ability of teachers in mastering materials, structures, concepts, and scientific mindsets, the ability of teachers in mastering the standard of competence and basic competencies of the Indonesian language, the ability of teachers in developing indonesian language learning materials creatively, and the ability of teachers in developing professionally in a sustainable manner. Thus, it can be concluded that the overall professional competence of indonesian language teachers in grade IV as threatening as Ende Tengah needs to be maintained and also organized efforts to continuously improve the professional competence of teachers in accordance with the development of science and technology.

Abstract

Contextual teaching and learning (CTL) become learning that can empower pupils' cognitive learning achievement. The research objective was to enhance pupils' cognitive learning achievement (CLA) using the CTL approach. The classroom action research by Kemmis and McTaggart was used in this research. The subjects of this study were pupils of grade IV SDK Doreng, Doreng District, Sikka Regency. Participant research was ten pupils' (three boys, seven girls). Ten multiple-choice tests were used for the evaluation of each cycle. Analysis of data was quantitatively and percentage—five categories for student CLA. The success indicator is based on a score of 65 and classical completeness of 85%. The results showed that the activity of pupils and teachers in the first cycle was low. This finding was followed by not achieving completeness, where only 70% of pupils completed. The second cycle findings inform that pupils' and teacher activities were excellent, followed by classical completeness, reaching 100%. This action research concludes that CTL can improve pupils' CLA. This research recommends using CTL in the future to enhance pupils' CLA.

Abstract

Motoric skills are one of the human potential in this case learners are very important to be developed and empowered at all times along with the growth of humans themselves. To develop motor skills that are beneficial for learners, there needs to be a simple activity that is adjusted to the age and cognitive level of learners.  Training to make benches learn from used goods to learners, actually aims to use motor skills and direct learners to do simple activities but have a very positive impact on the growth and development of learners themselves.  This method of activity is a training that has several simple stages, ranging from providing explanations about the benefits of used goods and motor skills, learners are formed in groups in an organized manner, prepare materials and tools, then carry out tasks by utilizing tools and materials in making study benches. The result of this training activity is in the form of objects that are useful or have useful value, namely a simple learning bench in accordance with the creativity of learners and the achievement of the utilization of motor skills in a more useful direction for the learners themselves. Thus it can be concluded that the activities of this training can create enthusiasm in using the motor skills of learners early on, so that it can be one of the provisions for their survival.

Abstract

The responsibility of teachers as professional educators is imperative in carrying out their duties. To become professional teachers, elementary school teachers in cluster 3 of Ende sub-district feel the need to get enlightenment and scientific practice through training in the preparation of Classroom Action Research proposals, so that these teachers can create quality learning in the classroom. The method of this activity is in the form of training with stages starting from the presentation of the material by the resource team to the preparation of a Classroom Action Research proposal by the teachers. The results of this training show that on average the teachers are able to understand the concept of Classroom Action Research well with indicators that teachers can identify and determine the focus of research, determine learning strategies that are considered appropriate from relevant scientific literature, and can draft Classroom Action Research proposals. Thus this training activity has a positive impact on teacher professionalism in an effort to improve the competence of students in the classroom. For this reason, teachers are expected to continue to strive to carry out scientific activities, one of which is in the form of Classroom Action Research, so that teachers can morally continue to contribute to human resource development through the education sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this observation is to determine correlation between student motivation and the effectivness of theaching and learning process in social subject to the ninth year class of SMP Katolik St.Theresia Kupang. This is quantitative research. The subject of the research is 93 ninth year class of SMP Katolik Theresia Kupang. The Data was analized by using product moment correlation and followed by regression. The result of product moment correlation and regression, There is possitive correlation and significant between student motivation with the effectivness of teaching and learning process in social subject to the ninth year class of SMPK St.Theresia Kupang, with correlation coefficient score = 0,633 and probability sig = 0,000 > 0,05 or t score = 7,790 > t table = 1,671. Meanwhile determination coefficient or effective support variable student motivation to the effectivness of teaching and learning process in social subject to the ninth year class of SMPK St.Theresia Kupang is R Square = 0,400 x 100% = 40%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan Pengaruh Kompetensi Pedagogik Terhadap Motivasi Siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas IX di SMP Katolik St. Theresia Kupang. Metode pada penelitian merupakan metode kuantitatif. Jumlah responden (sampel) dalam penelitian adalah 93 orang siswa kelas IX SMP Katolik St. Theresia Kupang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampelnya adalah ramdom sampling. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket yang didukung dengan dokumentasi dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan Statisitik Korelasi Product Moment dan dilanjutkan dengan Regresi. Hasil Analisis Korelasi Product Moment dan Regresi menunjukan bahwa; terdapat Hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Kompetensi Pedagogik dengan Motivasi Siswa Pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas IX di SMPK St. Theresia Kupang, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi = 0,493 dan Probabilitas Sig = 0,000 < probabilitas 0,05. Sedangkan koefisien determinasi atau sumbangan efektif Kompetensi Pedagogik guru terhadap motivasi siswa adalah sebesar Rsquare = 0,243 x 100% = 24,3%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IX pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP Katolik Sta. Theresia Kupang, walaupun masih dalam kategori cukup. Oleh sebab itu berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti dapat memberikan beberapa saran; 1) bagi guru yang mengampuh mata pelajaran IPS hendaknya untuk lebih meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogiknya dengan terus memahami IPS sebagai mata pelajaran yang dinamis dan terus berkembang sesuai dengan kemajuan zaman, 2) Guru IPS perlu meningkatkan kreativitas dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran IPS, dengan menentukan, memodifikasi, atau menciptakan metode atau model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan ciri khas dan tujuan IPS, sehingga pembelajaran IPS lebih bermakna dan menarik untuk dipelajari oleh siswa, 3) Siswa hendaknya memiliki perspektif yang positif terhadap IPS sebagai mata pelajaran yang dapat berkontribusi terhadap keterampilan hidup baik keterampilan mental, pribadi maupun sosial, 4) bagi sekolah dalam hal ini kepala sekolah untuk dapat merencanakan program diklat yang mengakomodir guru mata pelajaran IPS, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru tersebut.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMenciptakan pembelajaran yang berkualitas di kelas mutlak merupakan tanggung jawab guru sebagai pendidik yang profesional. Oleh sebab untuk menjadiguruyang profesionalparaguruSDI Tibakisa Boawae Nagekeo, perlu mendapat pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang mumpuni melalui pelatihan penyusunan proposal PTK, agar para guru tersebut dapat melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah melatih para guru menyusun draft proposal PTK sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah ilmiah. Metode kegiatan iniadalah berupa pelatihan dengan memiliki tahap-tahap yang dimulai dari persentasi materi oleh tim narasumber sampai pada penyusunan proposal PTK oleh para guru. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini menunjukan bahwa secararata-rata para guru sudah mampu memahami konsep PTK secara baik dengan indikator para guru dapat mengidentifikasi  dan menentukan fokus penelitian, menentukan strategi pembelajaran yang dianggaptepat yang bersumber dari literature ilmiah yang relevan, dand apat menyusun draft proposal PTK. Dengan demikian kegiatan pelatihan ini berdampak positif terhadap kompetensi professional guru. Untuk itu para guru diharapkan terus berupaya melaksankan aktivitas-aktivitas ilmiah salah satunya berupa PTK, sehingga guru secara moril dapat terus berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan SDM melalui bidang pendidikan. Kata kunci:guru; pelatihan penelitian tindakan kelas ABSTRACTCreating quality learning in the classroom is absolutely the responsibility of teachers as professional educators. Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is What is the relationship between motivation and learning achievements of class V learners at SDI Onekore 5 Ende Regency? The goal to be achieved is to find out the level of relationship between motivation and learning achievements of students of class V SDI Onekore 5. Respondents in this study were class V SDI Onekore 5 learners who numbered 31 people. The research method used is quantitative type exposfacto. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and are supported by documentation and observation. The hypothesis test uses the product moment correlation formula and continues with a simple regression. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between motivation and learning achievement as evidenced by the correlation coefficient value of 0.481 and the probability of 0.001<0.005, and the coefficient of motivational determination to learning achievement of 0.232 or 23.2%. Thus it can be concluded that motivation has a strong enough relationship with the learning achievements of class V learners at SDI Onekore 5. So it needs to be recommended that the school in this case through teachers to further strive to increase the motivation of students through learning in school, while for students to continue to increase their motivation in terms of learning in order to obtain better achievements.
